[F4-Tailor-R10] Frozen Tapestry (Closed)

Recommended Posts

Watching on as some weirdo spoke to a mannequin, assuming that within the darkened chamber, the first silhouette he saw must have been the shopkeeper. Something about the remote location always brought in weirdos. A simple peel of twine and a long slender slice down a length of fabric cleaves off two long strips. Tapering the edges and removing what little strings frayed, Setsuna bounds into the rafters above. "Idiot." she murmurs beneath her breath, pulling snug a strand of rope around a bundled parcel before dropping it on the patron's head. He got what he paid for, although the wooden puppet wouldn't know where to spend it.

'Twilight come, twilight go, elusive and shrouded in the world's secrets.'

Koga stepped into the shop once more, eyes keenly alert, searching back and forth for the mysterious vendor who had so unceremoniously dropped their wares upon his head the last time he'd made a purchase. Not that he was upset about that, more so just...intrigued. "Hello?" he called out. Unsurprisingly, he got no answer.

The floorboards creaked as he approached the count and produced a slip of paper from his pocket, and placed it face up on the counter with a sack of Col. The coins jingled musically in their rough burlap home. "Uhm, I'd like to make another purchase, please?"

Trudging through the snow of the cold floor she held her arms to eachother her green cloak covering her entire body, this place was cold as shit, and she hated it. But this was the only Tailor she could find on the grapevine. Slipping into the building she wanted to just collapse. She was definitely gonna need to get something good here for this trip to of been even remotely worth it. Going in with a straight if not shivering face the short girl looked around before coming up to the counter. She simply placed a sheet of paper on it.

With the dagger that Bismuth had ordered from Vigilon, and the pair of trinkets that he had picked up from Freyd when he had went down to his shop, there was only one item that he still needed to pick up before he felt ready to truly start heading out of the beginner village, for anything more than basic quests like the gathering quest, and that was some easy to move in cloth armor.

While asking around town Bismuth had heard of a decently good tailor, or really the only tailor he could find anything about, with a prickly personality named Setsuna, he wasn't one to judge someone based on someone else's judgement, but he hoped he would be able to get in and out fast. Making his way into the shop, Bismuth was able to see a few pieces on display that had already been crafted and were ready to buy, he wasn't looking for anything special, so he perused those works until he landed on Ryuuso, a perfect tier 1 cloth armor, something that he was exactly looking for. Taking the item Bismuth walked to the counter "I would like to purchase this fine armor." dropping the 1,200 col on the counter and promptly leaving, he didn't want to see if the rumors were true.

Moments later, another simply entered her building and placed another order. A sigh as she scoured down on yet another customer. When did news get out about her shop, this was far too many. The slink of a needle through a stock of fabric, quickly and easily matching shapes together, a rather quickly produced suit of armor. If anything, it kept her skills sharp. Folded up and dropped in the center of the room, a ghost had delivered yet another armor to a fresh face.

Without a word, without even the semblance of sight, a simple folded package in white fabric. A folded garb bound tightly with a bit of twine.

Delivered to @Xeno:

Bismuth was now a little bit higher level, a little bit less than halfway to his goal, and with that it was time to revamp his armor ands style. There was only one tailor in town that Bismuth knew of, Setsuna, and though the last encounter had went fine, her reputation was that of a prickly person to deal with. With a hand drawn blueprint in hand Bismuth once again entered the shop.

"Hello" Bismuth looked around the shop as he talked "I would like to place an order for cloth armor, I have a blueprint here." Standing at the counter Bismuth didn't know what to do, waiting for the owner to come out, so he just stood there hoping it wouldn't take long.

Name: Ganbu
Enhancements: EVA 3
Tier: 2
Description: This cloth armor consists of a billowing, white, collared shirt with a deep v neck with thin leather straps meant to cinch the v neck closed if one desired. On top of the white shirt is a half cape that covers the back and left side of the wearer, almost pure black, this cape has golden leaf embroidery near the bottom and a soft fur at the top, being held in place by a thin leather strip the crosses underneath the right arm. A red and gold sash is tied around the waist of the slightly baggy black pants, left to hand to the knee on the wearers left. To tie it all together, the outfit comes with knee high boots that the pants tuck into.

Xena trudged through the snowy floor again annoyed she was no snow leopard, she didnt like cold at all, even though she was covered with a added layer of fur she shivered as she entered the only tailor she knew of, silently making her way to the counter, the lady would likely do her cloak as long as she got paid for it. That's how most people functioned, especially people who don't like others, they'd do silent work as long as you'd stay silent. Walking through the building past most of the outfits she submitted a custom request leaving a slip of paper on the counter before leaving quickly after. She had business to take care of and so did the tailor.

A polite knock on the door before entry.  Freyd entered slowly, making sure to remove his footwear and respect the cleanliness of the shop and particulars of its owner.  Courtesies went a long way.  The cowl came down as well.  Another rare sign of respect from the Whisper.

"I'm afraid that progress carries a price, dearest little sister.  All this sneaking around has caused me to rekindle skills I thought lost after the confrontation with Shadow and the flood.  Even this flexible wear has become cumbersome as a result.  It simply wouldn't do to have a whisper squeak while he sneaks.  Perhaps you could space the time to help me out?"

night supposed she had nothing left to lose by knocking on the door of a ghost's abode (though it feared her to do so) and not receiving a response. still, she followed procedures as best she remembered: a request and the items dropped off for its convenience. even if she thought a player was present behind the craft, if they'd wanted to be left anonymous about it, she'd let them.

so in she went, trying her best to be humble in her announcement, "i need these stitched together. i'll leave you to it, if you need be. i can be back in an hour or two."

night gave the cloaks one last look before treading off, the memory of them on her mind.

A gentle knock at the door followed by polite pause led to the entry of a familiar yet notably different fellow by his bearing.  Freyd had been through a lot lately, and it was showing.  That alone was significant for someone normally so unabashedly reserved.  Carefully removing his footwear to prevent soiling the shop floor, he offered a casual bow and quiet greeting.  "I need these stitched into something more potent and reliable, Setsuna, and you've always proven meticulous and exceptional in your work.  Could you spare the time to fuse them together for me?"  Sliding a note on the counter with the requested specifications, his usually covert manner was further belied by the downing of his cowl.  A genuine smile and thanks followed as payment was delivered in advance, the materials being required for the deed.  "I look forward to seeing the results, as always. Please let me know when the item is ready for pickup."

Oscar walked up to the shop, fresh out of his completion of Breaking the Unbreakable. Seemed kinda dumb to pick up a new Weaponskill and not actually use the weapon. He took note of the "Go Away" sign and elected to ignore it. Instead, he began to pound on the door, hoping to get Setsuna's attention if she was inside.

"Ey! Open up! Don't make me call the boss man. I got an order for you," Oscar bellowed through the closed door. If that didn't work, he didn't have much idea what else to do. Maybe kick it in?
