The target appeared and Yuki managed to land blows on it. "Damn Night is a master fisher woman" he uttered as the fish and two of its minions appeared at once. It was just a fishing rod but Night made it look like some kind of net used by men catching fish in the ocean, he should learn a thing or two from her. Crozeph immediately made his way towards the three as soon as Yuki got the aggro, that would mean he's on the safe side of the situation but for the fishes? not so much.

He launched himself to the air and made an AoE attack, fortunately his accuracy stats were high enough to make his attack connect on all three. He landed on the docks quite well but after a few seconds the wood beneath his feet gave way and soon enough half of his body went through it. Crozeph quickly clambered up and stood up "I hope they didn't see that" he thought.

More tooting. More sword art slashes and flares going off in the distance. And while NIGHT was truly disinterested in the whimsicalities of fate, the clatter of the rod in her hand on the deck only served for her to mull over her quandary for a split second more. An exasperated sigh, before her jaw clenched back shut. A fragmented swirl of reality drummed up a standard sword to her side as NIGHT rushed into the rumble, taking great care to focus on the battle's top priorities.

Once upon a time she would've thought it to be the big bosses themselves. But after the discussion over the labyrinth boss' party make up, she'd figured the adds might be a good go for some damage dealt instead. The Fossil Fish were fast -- much more elusive than she'd originally expected, but in the same vein her blade's glow had reddened out of expiration, so too did her gloves' gems brighten from her failures.

Yuki's blade lit up with it's usual pink aura as she walked in front of her allies. It's lull of power was weak simply because of the nature of her weaker sword arts, but it was serving it's main purpose. When they came back for more, Durandal flashed more brightly, eating through the flesh of her enemies that dared to oppose her. The bleed status effect took control of the mobs leaving the boss monster her main focus.

"Pool your attacks into the boss!" She called pointing Durandal valiantly towards the giant lurker fish. "The mobs will die to my thorns and can't do any damage to me!" Just as she thought, even with a critical attack, the mob stood no chance in breaching her defense. The boss monster however had a better time breaking her guard albeit paying for it's attempts. It felt the full force of her thorns, piercing into it's mouth.

"As you wish milady" he uttered with such grace it was uncomfortable and strange. Crozeph was pretty much a dumbass coupled with quiet and gentle nature despite the flow of words coming out of his damn lips. Yuki suggested to pool their damage to the boss, which is what he was good at... smack one enemy with the smackest of the smack. He dashed forward to the Lurker and ignore the minions. Skadi began to glow and water began to circle around it "perfect timing" he thought.

One wide upward swing followed by multiple slashes landed on the Lurker and add to that the freezing effect seeping into its skin and slowing the creature's movement. A fine attack and Crozeph rolled backwards after doing so "well that went better than expected" he uttered.

Strategy? There was no need for that any more. The moment her edge was flooded with its telling red glow, she knew it was fatal -- that the fish before her would return to where it once came from the moment she spurred forward.

So NIGHT burst ahead, her sword singing through the wind. Two ruby slashes felled the minions off to The Lurker's side. Then, a swift third divider cut off what remained of the field boss' health bar. A fourth howling smear of carmine dispersed its remains to the ether.

The blade's trailed away in a flicker as the player returned to her resting stance, a hand removed from its hilt from her two-handed faux-destroyer art. With their targets put to rest, the trio was free to continue about their hunting trail.

NIGHT let out a soft exhale, before turning to her companions with an open palm. "To the nineteenth," she instructed, before glancing over to the fishing poles nearby. "Uh, you two go on ahead. I'll... have to clean up."

So she did clean up. And while she'd taken just a couple of seconds to pick up the fishing rods and leave, NIGHT's search elsewhere took her just a tad bit more time. The twenty-fourth was the most idyllic place to look for her dungeons; simply convenient too, given how she'd had more maps rooted in this locale than any other so far. It would be easier to stay rooted on one floor than to bounce back between multiple.

Though, she realized as the system tugged at her form, she'd have to do just that anyway in the end.

Oh well.

| Floor 24

NIGHT's venture had turned out fruitless; unfortunate, especially with the time she'd taken to return to her companions.

She swore she could've gotten something out of it...

Nevertheless, to the nineteenth the player would go. Responding quickly to a query from Yuki -- damn it, she knew she'd taken too long from just that message -- NIGHT stepped onto the rocky platform, letting Cardinal guide her to her new destination.
