Almost like someone had pulled the plug on these events, or flicked an off switch to cast away the din. Thank goodness. With a chuff, NIGHT shook her head of the pounding music (and her mishaps) and merely shuffled forth towards the edge of the room. Once again, the portal was open -- a blip that spiraled and appeared out of nowhere -- and she tilted her head towards it, just as her party members had started to collect the scattered gold mine of candies and treats across the floor. Oh, they looked good. Maybe she should've gotten a bag for herself, too. "Won't be leaving without you three getting your box's worth first," the player mentioned, reveling her companions' joy of the victory and the loot. "Let me know when you're all good to go." That was just a treat, in and of itself. Whatever he thought of the sickeningly sweet, caramelized, and sugar-coma inducing environments, no one could complain that the venture had been unprofitable. Freyd collected his rewards with a simple nod of thanks to Crozeph, ChaseR and, especially, NIGHT. He still wasn't quite certain why she had invited him on such an expedition, but she seemed to have an odd penchant for random generosity. Whatever her motives, it was appreciated. The candy was left untouched, having no need of it and neglected to bring the prescribed container. It simply wasn't his sort of thing. A momentary debate formed in his mind over the possibility of placing a jar full of the stuff on the counter at his shop, but Quaestor wouldn't appreciate the competition... and it would probably just attract more zombies.
