"Well done Gaius, Who knew you had it in you." The black cat could not help but goad him a bit, pleased with his sudden outburst that formulated a plan. A glimmer of gold plays upon her index and thumb and a snap fires out her bet, finding a hearth in Setsuna's back. As a result, the girl's stamina jumps in a quick refill. "Keep up the pressure, we have her on the ropes." The guild merchant couldn't help but find a bit of a pun in her statement, given they had just shattered the boss's ropes. All they had left to do is put her down, and as the woman looks to the rest of her party she felt something. Optimism? Interesting when did she start relying on their strengths?

The last chain falls, and the fight seemed to be going just fine. Hel was held down and with Setsuna now perched on his shoulder, he looks up to the girl "Thanks." he mutters softly. Within that simple moment and distraction, Hel rips her hand free. A single discharge of her magic at close range shreds a fair portion of Griswold's health away. A turn and another crack of his skull against hers, the flames dancing off of his own brow onto her head leave some decent damage. "You think I am finished with you?" Griswold barks as he obviously had her attention. In the back of his head, although he would not admit it, the attack from the boss startled him and caught him off guard. But this was his risk to bear, any attempt they made on him was one less they made on the others. That was enough.

As the angry dude drops from the sky like a missile, the big guy seemed to be doing fine even though he took some damage. "Keep it up big guy!" Shiina extrudes in a bolstering of courage. Her song continues and she twists inward, keeping her link with Kasumi as the reverberating sound of the chorus rattles the chamber. Her own skill reaffirms the boss's weakness, her own stamina becoming fueled by the draining energies. A harsh sonate of echoing voices all breathing the same notes at different octaves. "We are really giving it to her!" Shiina exclaims watching Hel widdle away, surprised at how well they were kicking her keister. Just a little more face punching! she speaks inward, taking a mental tally of the energy values on the field. Between her and Simmone, it seemed like the group could fight forever. They were the underdogs taking on the tyrant!

Rocketing in as Shiina's constant reformation of her available stamina kept her rolling with no issue. The cavern howls with the sounds of impacts of heavy magnitude, and Griswold was doing his best to keep the boss contained. She had to help him somehow, and a single slamming heel cold clocks the boss as she appears next to Setsuna on Griswold's massive stature. The forge master made an excellent stone to perch upon. "Setsuna let's get her more complacent." she looks to her ally, in a mirrored image. A single blink of pink as Kasumi shifts herself and lays a single open palm haymaker into the boss's side. An audible crunch as something dislodges. Hel's HP bar plummets a fair margin, and the crashing wave retracts. That subtle slide leaves an opening, as a cool breeze appears sliding under her elbow. Single petals freeze as they fall, Setsuna was charged and swinging.

Beneath Kasumi's strike was one of her own, a glimmer of her blade. Slowly retracting from its saya causes a flash of the sword art's activation. Becoming a blur with a single cyan blue line drawn. Setsuna displaces as opposed to where it was triggered. With it, a cool breeze follows in her wake in the shape of white mist. The strike then detonates with the metallic click of her weapon shut, the blade never visible. The wound opens then freezes shut, cracking at the seam as it dug deep and froze more and more of the boss's frame. "Kasumi, it's not over until she falls." Setsuna barks to her comrade, with an adamant foundation as if spoken like an order. If that was what she must do to get results so be it. She was convinced the blossom needed this to do her job. Twisting her frame to face her opponent she vanishes.

Screaming out to Griswold as he slowly descends. "I suggest you get clear!" forces the smith to look up. "Aye boy do your thing!" Griswold slams a heavy fist into the side of her dome and lunges for his Warhammer and retreats. The boss begins to charge up a blast aimed at the tank as he retreats. "Hey bitch!" Gaius barks out with a snap. Hel looks left and right, Gaius shouts to her "Up here!"

Hel looks up toward the held aloft dragoon as her eyes widen. "Catch, Grand Driver!" He heaves the weapon like a bullet with an electric pulse, a ring of green echoes out from its origin like rings on a tree. The ground shatters beneath her as the polearm pierces clean through her chair, a layer of dust casts blindess to the chamber and as a result: to Hel.

When it settles, standing upon a prone boss was Gaius and his weapon still standing on top of her with a glaive pierced clean through.

Hel was almost down and after that strike from Gaius makes the whole chamber shake, her optimism is affirmed. "Perfect, just a little more. Girls!" Simmone snaps her fingers and renews even more of Setsuna's pool, playing the part of the battery and keeping her mobile. It seems that somewhere along the way they had gained innumerable strength, seeming leagues past the issues they had during third lessons. The group was a long way from struggling to fight golems, given now they were giving a pretty tough raid creature a run for its money. The black cat could not help but wonder if this wasn't over, knowing little about the quest given how they had been brought into it and Gaius's lack of forethought to investigate the matter further. But if any fight after this one went in a similar fashion, this would be over before sunrise. Perhaps even save a few hours and get back to sleep.

The dragoon warns him from above, and Griswold knew to get the hell out of dodge. The boy was nothing less than powerful when he set his mind to something, he saw it first hand in fighting the spanish inquisition when he dumped a mage so many times the damn thing couldn't regenerate. The warning works, and Hel is driven into the ground with enough force to almost push her through the floor. Stampeding up to match through the cover that Gaius's attack had made, the weapon still implanted in her chest. She struggles and starts to charge an attack aimed at Gaius. "None of that!" Griswold barks curb stomping her head and dealing enough force to concuss her. A single look to Gaius with a nod, seems the kid wasn't all that bad. At least he wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty, and somewhere in that thing on his shoulders was a brain.

Moving with the group and doing what she was normally told, sticking behind the big man. "I gotcha dude." She comments slapping his backside with a quick jolt that forces his HP to jump quite noticeably. Shiina had the inkling that there may be more fights coming soon and thought it best to prepare for more. Griswold shutters a bit under the healing skill, given the thing always discharges like a taser. "All better!" Shiina exclaims as he jerks a bit, looking down at a nearly unconscious Hel. "Dam lady your face looks like a whole bunch of butts taped together." the songstress extrudes in regards to the huge amount of cuts and wounds racking her head. Kneeling low and tapping Hel's face with her hand making a subtle slapping noise. "It's okie though, in a second or two you'll be dead so it won't matter none." Shiina explains with a rather mixed sense of happiness with a dark undertone.

A single high pitch whur and a jab to the dome makes her fall silent, the blossom closes her eyes as the strike connects. The sounds of shattering glass and an update to the tracker on the side of her screen confirms that the boss is down. The chamber malformed and becomes brighter, like the curse on this place had been lifted. Looking about the gold and gaudy chamber, everything was overly extravagant and unnecessary, as a large NPC male moves to meet them all. He looks down on them in his huge size that more than doubled Griswolds. "I am Odin, well met warriors." His voice was almost booming in its amplification within the walls, reverberating off of them with each word spoken.

As Hel expires the whole place seems to take to a different light, whatever hold she held over the place had faded. A god-like manifestation of an NPC seems to approach, offering them praise for the task they had done. "Save it." Setsuna spits coldly toward the titan, unenthused in whatever he had to say. "Claim as you wish and speak your words but know I am not listening." her words snap like venom as she checks the hole created by Gaius for anything that remained from her death. She was indeed gone and that was another tally to her list. "Let's move on, ignore the imbecile that chatters, we hardly need anything he would offer." Setsuna bites toward the group as she ushers clean of the chamber at which they stood. Every second they waste sharing conversation with an entity that would offer them very little insight was nothing more than another their opponents could regroup.

The dragoon spins up his spear and positions it behind his head across his shoulders, keeping up with Setsuna as he follows in her shadow. "You did pretty good back there." Gaius swallows his pride and admits to the girl. "You did your part as well, but do not become complacent. We all have room to grow and become better than ourselves. Spinning his hammer in his grasp as its righted, a habit he does when time is a bit idle. Griswold rolls his shoulders feeling a bit of his age kicking in, before twisting away from the crevice built by the party. Hel was down and who knew if there would be any others to face. "Come Shiina." Griswold ushers the child to move with him, wiggling his arms and pulling his shield close to his torso. He was ready, and the flames that had been kindled here still held fast to his shoulders and armor. They could not help but distract him a bit, confused where they had come from. When did he get whatever this was? This was the first that flames such as these had appeared without Vulcan being present. A shame his hound had to be left behind, given flame familiars and wood boats on an ocean didn't mix well.

Perking up as she quickly erected into a stand "Right!" she yelps, waddling her butt past Griswold and toward the leading two. She taps Kasumi on the way past and forces some more energy into the girl "It will be all good, you'll see." A crash off in the distance reveals a massive titan that dwarfed Hel and Hyrm easily. A huge canine beast racked with a foundation that made it look like a volcano. Glowing orange eyes and a feral howl call two smaller kin to its side, notably with no HP bars as if they were weapons. Fumbling around in her inventory at the sudden addition to the field just outside the threshold they were fighting within, she mutters but a single phrase. "Neat." as she triggers the tiny crystal she squeezed out of her inventory and the song begins to play. Beginning to match the tone, it shatters and the field becomes a tapestry in purple.

With a silent nod from the words of encouragement from both Simmone and Shiina, she affirms herself. As Fenrir drops into the fray it was clear he was an opponent given the moniker and silently Kasumi hoped this would be the last. Rocketing past Gaius and Setsuna, she knew she had to build an opening for the creeping death that Setsuna brought. The crashing wave slides as she stops moving her feet, drawing them in a circle as they take that signature pink glow. A single dragon palm crunches the target's nose, causing flames to erupt from the impact that scorches her frame. "No good looks like physical damage causes it to burn you." She remarks as she leaps clear. It became immediately clear that this would be an arduous fight, and pulling clean the crystal she looks at Shiina who smiles. Triggering it and dropping it forces the girl's aura to twist like a single droplet before it shatters and the pale red joins the aura in another ring.

As fast as Kasumi connects, Setsuna was right on her heels. "Flames huh." Setsuna quips as her form displaces and dodges the molten blood that pours from its frame. A single swipe does quite the number, splashing her with more of the flaming liquid that was spat at Kasumi. The difference? Fenrir's entire form begins to freeze around the wound. "Seems you're not partial to cold. This is going to be fun." Setsuna mutters with a chilled word, flickering away as its kin look to their master for orders as it becomes a solid block of ice. Flickering in next to the blossom she mutters "Together, let's put this down before it has a chance to swing. I don't like the look of it. If you hesitate you're putting everyone at risk. Remember that." trying to get her point across, for this was the time for action not some silly sense of right and wrong. It's kill or be killed.

Plucking the resting polearm that runs along his shoulders, he begins to twirl it in his right hand. "Gotcha, well then. Guess we just need to hit it harder." Gaius barks as the dirt and dust begin to be pulled around him, a flare of green paints his eyes. Charging up that heavy hit, he was building up momentum rather rapidly. The blade twists from visibility to nothing more than a blur with a lime tip. A disk like swirl, the Typhoon was setting up the storm to which he was becoming more and more accustomed. "Got him big guy?" Gaius remarks hoping that the tank can buy him the time he needs. "Aye boy, do your thing." Griswold takes a single step forward and raises his shield. The dragoon couldn't wait to let this next one rip, because the look of Fenrir had him salivating. One big ass enemy that could take a beating was just as delectable as a well done steak.

Keeping the pace and passing more and more of her energy into Kasumi to keep her moving, Simmone extracts the final crystal as she looks to Shiina "Phantasmal Chorus was it? Let's see it again girl." Simmone remarks with interest in what little Shiina could do. It was an odd ability and one that the black cat had taken interest in. Dropping in a pale green to the purple and red rings, it shatters third in sequence as the sound joins the aura. Drawing her rapier just in case she needed it, into her left hand she sports it off to her left side. "Nicely done, seems it cannot move all too well when it's a popsicle." Simmone goads the beast as she offers praise to Setsuna for the trigger. The boss was destabilized while the group seemed more than capable of dealing some serious output against it, this fight was as good as over.

Slamming his fists together "Let's see what this flame is for!" he barks, with his mind racing with a way to name it. It was new to him so he felt like it was something he had to apply an icon to, else have no way to label it. But now was not the time for workshopping it, as it bleeds off his frame in a swell causing his armor to take on what looked like veins of molten metal. Bashing his shield with his Warhammer it spreads to the wall, just like his familiars. A walking torch, the heat was noticeable but not uncomfortable. He had to make himself more imposing and draw its ire. As the flames dance, Griswold charges into the beast causing it to shatter, and a backhand slam of the hammer does little against the beast. It howls and growls regaining its senses. "Come on." remarks the fist of iron, learning who he was to be as he decks the beast across the jaw.
