Passing toward the witch's tower, a swelling collection of monkey who had not been culled in quite some time seemed off. A taint in red had caused them strength. "Crimson Lily no doubt, interesting she left you here." Raidou remarked rather cooly as they swirled about on wings overhead. They screech and swell above, unsure at who would approach the player in red. "Before you are allowed to hurt someone, I suppose its my task for a while to clean up this mess she left so gracefully on the guild's doorstep. If I didn't know better, I'd assume this deliberate. But thankfully I assume the lily does not take us as a threat... Yet."

Ripping his weapon from its scabbard causes it to wash the area in bright yellow light, a few fall from the air as they are blinded and refuse to fly. This would be the first of many, the droves of unending masses that would need clipping down to a more manageable size. Before they were allowed the freedom to target another.

The blindness drops them to the earth like flies, and a single overhead cleave in rapid momentum drops a bolt of energy from the blackened clouds above. It appeared as though FTK was still playing around in the sword he wielded, unsure if it was simply laden in the metal or trapped forever within the fibers of his digital muscles. What is known is that this 'skill' seemed to flare entirely of its own accord, and through it, the creatures could not seem to stand. Scattering to the dust with weakened grunts and screeches, Raidou asserts himself. A flicker of energy down the length of the blade, a single punch leaving them down to the smallest of life left to hold them aloft. "It's nothing personal, but I cannot have you rushing about unopposed. I hope you understand this, that if it could be another way I would take it. But it cannot and for this I am sorry."

That simple broad stroke that reduces them to a final limb is followed by a sudden burning bright blade in a mirrored swipe upward. The myriad of shattering explosions in red draws them to nothing. Easy for the nomad to deal with this rabble, as more began to reduce altitude to make for his gullet. A tear of the blade off to his right, the weather above stirs aggressively as if it was expectant of what was to come next. Absolution was interesting here, bringing him to tear asunder the first with minimal effort which brought curiosity to this next pack. What did they hope to do that the first had not? Would the aspects be different or would it end with more of the same? The tactician ran the numbers and odds of success were so minimal although the cardinal was still foolish in its approach, which always brought him to question if it had something hidden within its sleeve.

Slamming into his guard was the first two, scattering off to the side as two rebukes leave them winded but undamaged. The next two that swoop on flared wings in black feathers were not so lucky. A strike with enough force to send them barreling and tumbling off to each side of him, the returned power leaves them battered and bruised. A rip of his weapon clean in a soft exhale as it stops, he held his footing and his ground. A soft but intense stare without emotion present, as if this fight was rehearsed for it was. He was a man following a playbook, a million minutes brought to fruition. His road traveled had left a lasting impression on every action, foresight, and premeditation lingering on every motion. In his silence were absolution and an equal and common unassumed confidence, where most would find pride or ego was caution tempered with the sands of every grain.

Lunging back and allowing the pulse of yellow to build, more of his stamina pouring into the weapon with time spent in was but milliseconds. A wide arc catches two as they fly in close for another round, the damage sustained is horrifying. The two grounded expire immediately and the remaining two are rounding the drain at the half. He was rather unopposed in his aggression, the hostiles having trouble standing against his weighted might. It was clear he was drastically and possibly over excessively leveled for this, the method to the madness finally producing results. His lack of any word spoken would cause turbulence to an on looker, most would have said something if only a boast. But this was not his way, his actions being the only to do the talking for words need not be spoken. It was in this silence he found strength, the laser sighted focus that allowed him to hold strong and keep the conflict under his thumb.

Rocketing up from its prone position one monkey aims for his heel, and takes a heavy bite upon his thigh. A fragment and flicker of red beneath his frame, drawing that wireframe into the light. A quick glance at his HP shows it was an interesting and surprising amount of damage. More than likely Lily's and the spire's influence upon them had augmented their output something fierce. But percentage wise it was but a tiny scratch at what he had to hold against it, and statistically it looked to be trivial at best. But this still held him to caution first and foremost, and a sudden tear of a reversed edge cleaves it off of him. Sweeping it still latched its carried through the others that aimed for him like a bat as more moved to meet him. The unbeatable defense was always the goal, breaking their respective teeth on the wall was the intention.

Raidou recovers 93 via Battle Healing!

Ruthless outside what seemed like insetting desperation, shredding another fair portion off of Raidou's available HP bar. The defense held strong in a mix and hard to follow exchange between the player and the hostiles that attempt his beating heart. No frame left undamaged, the beauty of numbers leaving a hole in his bulwark. The question was, with the destruction of two was it intended? As an outlooker looking in it would appear this way. If it was truth, it was a believable one. He still stood and two of the reborn pack had not. His gauges seem unopposed and with enough fuel to continue the barrage, as two flutters on his peripheral. The aim was sure to replenish the ranks. How durable and how much endurance did he obtain over the distance? With one sharp inhale under muffled breath, a slide of his feet and an intense stare confirmed it.

Raidou recovers 93 via Battle Healing!

He could go the distance, his numbers entered into extremes as had his opponents. However, the difference is his strength was earned, not given. As a result, he knew what he was capable and with this came a sense of refinement to his actions. by comparison, Lily's toys could not handle her gift and although they were fast they were brash and ill-prepared for what they were performing. This caused them bad positioning and fool hearty rushing into attacks they could have used such speed to avoid. Haste breeds waste and here was no different, and although Raidou's growth was explosive he had the memory to back it up. A swap of damage and a drawn yellow arc upon the newly produced cuts them down to size, knocking a fair half from what they had. Auric Sol rang, his stamina depleted just a further bit more, and the weapon as quick as it fades a new light builds.

As they fall he breaches the gap made, clipping them to pieces long before they could use anything. Exposed and now destroyed rather quickly in a rapid assail and ascent upon them with a downward punch to the floor beneath them. Squished flat between an imposing albeit simple hand and a half blade in solarite, they expire into added gains. A pleasant act of two birds, for the main leg was simply the intention to drop free what was building and not restock the warehouse. Two falls and two remain on the edge, barring wild teeth and exhaustion to bear. A tussle of his lenses and a staredown as if his cool headed gaze was saying to them 'I am waiting' in that projected silence. There was a peace about him as if that fury had been tempered by something in his journey. What had brought about that change? what was the catalyst and would he ever share it?

Raidou recovers 93 via Battle Healing!

Just like the draughts he produced, his chemical composition was always produced differently and more refined. Of course, the base was the same, but slight changes in varying degrees and components brought about a different result. This was how he handled all affairs, if something wasn't working it was time for a mix-up and a change. His power was procured under this principle and was the very reason it was so overwhelming here, as was the mix of changing motive in his head. The end of his road vastly approached but he was not above simple affairs such as these. An ego absents it made these sort of things simple and easy for him to undertake. There was no pedestal or throne, simply an equivalent ground to which they could stare eye to eye. There was a calm meditation possible despite the context. These creatures could not hold fire to his walls, allowing his mind to wander where he physically had yet to tread.

Raidou recovers 93 via Battle Healing!

Held steadfast drops two more in sequence in what seemed like endless droves. A quick advanced eye peeled to his green bar showed it less than half, he was running out of steam which bought that he would need to fall back and allow it to refill. This brought about a sense of expedition, he'd need to wrap up quickly before it was drained fully. Things would become more difficult should it empty out, and he knew it. He had still enough to exploit and the dance from creature to creature continues. His robe sways from each step under extremes, his speed was uncanny. The beauty of reduced material weight, and the lack of his tanking weapons equipment left him much lighter then his legs were used to carrying. Auric Sol did not hold a candle being only a small percentage of its sister sword, they were opposed in make.

Another twirl and held aloft blade leaves another cataclysmic spray of data and more felled, it was simple to press forward through this rabble. Despite the blessings they held, despite the floor's height, Raidou was drastically overpowering the lot. Curiosity to those that perceived him at this moment, for peace having claimed his mind. A rhythmic painting of their respective digital innards in a magnificent show of lights and sounds. Raidou was practiced, and these amalgamations were not. The competition between them only ended upon the red wanderer's projections. He expected only this from them, and despite ever-dwindling stamina left for the use he held fast and kept pressure. Tufts of wings and the choir of expiring creatins, wide arcing slashes in gold to a man who appeared to blur. Between each charge were a pause, a parry, and a rebuttal. It was a dance, a muscle memory exploitation fueled and triggered by thought alone by the cardinal. The age of sands and the road he had walked left a lasting impression, making even the strongest of beasts fall before him without a broken sweat. Durability held, endurance held and so did the nomad's demeanor. There was no boredom, no worry nor fear here. In its vacuum was simply efficiency.

Before it could blink Auric sol finds hearth within its heart. A lift and tear before a horizontal cleave remove its head from its shoulders. It collides with a heavy thud to the floor and scatters to digital ash. Placing his back to one simple dark wood tree, sliding down and adjusting the lenses on his face. He'd have only seconds to regenerate what he had used, so it would be best to abuse the canopy above to break line of sight. Else he was in for the long hall, without energy reserves he'd be top decking cards.

With them palmed he'd look upward into the writhing mass of beasts above, the storm brewed and littered both them and him with the soft patter of rain. It was refreshing as it taps him lightly on the forehead, rushing down the lines upon his skin like tears.

Using his left sleeve, he dries up the salt with a drag. His heart proved an ample place to store such things, and he returns his anchor to his brow. A fired light scatters across the dirt beneath him, two spheres in silver dart away. The ground was becoming damp and thick. The trees sucked into a more hasted bend and bow. The howl on the air showed it all: The weather was stirring. The storm did not frighten the man who had consumed lightning, the very essence of it still racked his nerves. Although it would be a bit of a jostling when it occurred, this would not be the first time he had ate such energies. Both figuratively and literally he had consumed such a storm twice prior. The realization that he indeed blocked a bolt of lightning, more than once proved some inaccuracy in the truth of this game.

With that subtlety came a small smile, it was highly unlikely getting anywhere close to the same effect besides this bestowed place. It brought the question, how fast was he traveling on foot in combat. It had to be something absurd given the sheer wind pressure produced. An eye to his stamina bar proved it recovered to full, allowing further action as was desired. Rising to his feet and drawing his weapon, space bends as he rushes back into the clearing and blindsides low hanging fruit. Like a grenade in a cake, they flail about and scatter upon every surface imaginable. Slinking down a tree was the only not enough impacted to deal any real damage, feeling nothing more than displacement. It howls and rips itself from the ground and rushes down the swordsman but finds purchase on nothing more than his steel. The dim lighting rocks into a bright flash in the exchange, held fast and strong against its aggressions.

It swivels and rushes back, scraping a jagged claw through the nomad's right shoulder in its retreat. Sliding out of the blast radius albeit barely, Raidou sets it behind the others in sequence. While they littered the dust in incapacitation, Raidou leaps airborne, and like a missile his weapon impacts and punches where they fell. The scatter of energy that still racked the blade fires out in rapid fork. Blinding yellow in the cry of electricity the targets expire and reward the nomad in red with material wealth to further bolster guild reserves. The notifications flood the bottom left corner of his HUD on repeat, even more, small pieces that would prove of use somewhere and somehow. A retraction of the blade in his grasp peels it straight for a rebuttal on those that would seek his blood further. This was hardly over, not by a long shot even still.

Raidou Recovers 93 via Battle Healing

There still remained quite the number, the question was how many would fall before he was needed elsewhere. Each destroyed was one less that others could have preyed upon them, statistically increasing their chances of success. The onslaught continues to draw digital blood in sprays that were quickly claimed by the cardinal. When they respawned their imposed augmentation would hopefully have faded. This was all Raidou could hope for. They attempt to bolster their ranks, they attempt to hold up against his advances. But they could hope for no respite from his attacks, no qualms or hesitation. There was no premeditation or words spoken. There were no seconds to act between to gain the upper hand. What remained was nothing short of a massacre in bright sunlight like light. His weapon responds with every triggered intention and pouring of endurance into it, in silence and focal ascent he was playing the part of reaper.

Raidou Recovers 93 via Battle Healing

The act continues in a flare of red on gold, swelling power in a maelstrom of lights carried. One broad stroke in rapid assail scatters another caught in the blast radius to pieces as it vanishes into the ether. Drawn away from this plane and restocked to respawn, diminished and weakened with its blessing stolen away. What remained were staggered and dropped to the soil below, while others eyed its opponent and chose instead to hold fast out of range. They were feeling the pressure, the very same that the wanderer in red had taken quite some time to perfect. His gear was standard, his direction and method rather plain by comparison. But the purity left most simply against unbeatable odds, one they could not hope to overcome. The method to his madness was practicality and malleability above all else. Adapting to the situation, gleaning something from every exchange made.
