"Mopping up, you got it." Katoka called to Freyd as she flashed a grin.

The energy in the room seemed to thicken as the samurai assumed a different stance than before. The air hummed with electricity and the smell of ozone filled the dungeon, the hair on the kobold's head began to stand on end. Blinking out of sight, an after image of Katoka flashed briefly before her actual body appeared now standing next to the group. Her original opponent looked around confused before he jerked about violently as electricity jumped in and out of his body like a living serpant, fresh wounds becoming visible as it arched about. The energy then jumped to the Kobold Freyd had shoved at her where the monster quickly dropped to it's knees as it seized before them. Once it hit the floor and exploded into fractals Kat turned to her companions, "Who's up next?"

A drastic display of force, powers untamed and uncontested in this dungeon of bars. There was little in the way of resistance to what these cretins could offer up, left to wane against the player's tirade from newly acquired strength. The same rhythmic tapping of heels, no haste in the steps. Folding from some skill, and she's behind her target. "Only you... and them?" Simmone offers up with a smirk, as more and more of these beasts rush in from every nearby chasm. Sliding down from holes in the walls with clattering shields and blades. A curious turn of her head, like a mother showing pity on a child who had burned its hand on the pyre. "Numbers do not mean much against this lot, No lesson learned, I take it?" Simmone goads as she slides without much effort, a rapier clean through the remaining ones back. Her left arm extends over the corpse as it tries to expire.

"But you won't have all the fun, dear, you'll share it with the others." a snap of her fingers sees the same parade of statuses rack the bars of the ones as they rush into the fray, slowing to a crawl to the chorus of shackles being snapped shut.

From the far side of each, as Simmone's stylus stabbed at them from the front, she had sealed their fates altogether.  A figure in black matched her blows from behind each victim, stepping from victim to victim in a twisted dance macabre, keeping pace with every gesture.  Freyd moved from shadow to shadow, keeping pace with his partner's actions as they felled the final few kobolds.  Once the dust of their disappearance was gone, only silence reigned in the high-vaulted tunnels of the Black Iron Dungeon.

"Not bad," he exclaimed.  "I counted thirty, so far, and this place is ever-crawling with more.  A rest is likely due.  This is not the place for us to get caught with energy gauges dangling near zero."  He knew that his reserves were among the highest in the group, and buoyed by gear chosen specifically to make it last as long as possible.  The others might not have those benefits.  

"Come on.  There's a room around the corner.  We can clear it out, then claim it as our resting place."

Eruda smiles as she watches the remainder of the enemies detach from their limbs. Looking to her bar as Freyd mentions energy, she simple nods. Turning to the darkened hall, she begins to walk to the room that Freyd suggest before hearing a ping come from one of her parties HUD. Glancing back it was Kat, who was opening her messages as her face expression becomes sour. "I have to go kick someones ass. Sorry for leaving, but I have to set this dude straight..." Katoka turns and starts walking where they came from... Eruda chuckles a bit as everyone says they're good by's. 

Turning back to the dimmed hall, she makes her way toward that room. Standing in front of this room, she sees nothing inside but that meant nothing in a place like this... It could be trapped or something could be waiting for us to just walk in and then appear. Eruda pulls her shield up as blue flames began to dance on her blade. Taking a deep breath as she enters the room ready for anything, but nothing... It was empty... Eruda's eyes glance around the room, shift left... Then right as her chest begins to pound fast... Soft eyes fall upon a familiar figure in a red robe... "Rai??" Lowering her sword and shield, now as she was nearly face to face with the one she was falling in love with...
