[PP-PT-F8] To Dust (BID)

A sheath of his blade sees the growth begin to take hold, gatherer doing its part to build something beneath his vision. A rustle on his flank shows that something was waiting just beyond his peripheral. "Cute, your welcome to try." Raidou speaks toward the brush and flora, to whatever thought that it could sneak up on him. He was well practiced and this object, entity was not subtle. A couple of steps in the things direction sees a hiss as a warning. The wanderer doesn't appear to be concerned in the slightest, using his left hand to usher his screen open rather abruptly. He was confirming that his current modifiers were still in effect. Notably, he sees some of his stats begin to reduce to lower margins, but not all of them. "Interesting. But irrelevant." That concern doesn't build and what is left is nothing more than a player who has seen more than his fair share, matched with a deadpan emotionless expression as he reaches for the blade on his back.

Tearing Auric Sunlight from its scabbard, a harsh flash of light akin to the solar ball hidden under the ash clouds above. A high pitch whir as that shriek becomes more hostile, noticing the player in its domain. "Come, I will show you what you face." Raidou remarks with his weapon charging into a heavy gold plume, bits of static jumping and darting down the length of the metallic edge as that levin arks back and forth to point and hilt. His energy begins to drain, the creature begins to shuffle with cables shifting and breaking where her legs should be. Each snap sees a small puff of powder left behind, as she attempts to move in and close the gap between them both.

Within an instant, a blade is plunged into its chest. Raidou stares up at his opposition, who shrieks as her health pool plummets. A discharge of that ash offers obscurity, making the reddish glow of his eyes stand out in that opacity. There was no concern or hesitation. Only a focus to destroy this thing.

With fury filled eyes, a peel of the blade off to his right with a tear leaves a spray of red in its wake. A huge chunk peels out of her body, leaving a gaping wound as her health takes another nose dive. The red wanderers eyes are pulsing in that same contained rage, that same intense focus, as his energy drops just that much further. As soon as that power fades it begins again, and with an attempt of the Ashen mother making a swipe of sharpened claws finds only his steel in a shower of sparks. He grits his teeth and pushes back with force. She staggers, howls within that obscurity, not unlike the banshee. "Try me." Raidou taunts as his weapon rakes against her natural weapon, seeing it turned against and off where it could land. Simplistic and yet overwhelming, her advances being cut down and suppressed in a way so daunting that the system was struggling to decipher what action to take.

Concentration CD [1/5]

A quick swipe back against the boss sees their weapons locked together, it was clear that her A.I. was attempting to push her on the defensive. As it would analyze how best to approach this player, who mirrored her intimidation rather easily. That dense fog thickens, her howling is met with a grinding and flashes that fluctuate within its film. Her attempts seemed to do the trick, enough to throw Raidou's aim just enough for her to catch the steel, but she was struggling against the sheer force of will he was exerting on that sliver of metal. A harsh scraping before another slam, until that blade seems to disappear in it as well. Obscurity worked two ways, and Raidou would take advantage of the fact she had robbed herself of her own sight as well. Into that fog he disappears beyond a faint outline of red like burning coals that danced throughout it. Until even that seemed to vanish within its proximity.

Concentration CD [2/5]

Out of nowhere, that pounding begins again, and what she assumes is his weapon is actually his arm. Using it to feint and take her arms away, Raidou had broken her defense as those nails peel into his skin just ever so slightly. A small amount of damage, nothing he couldn't handle. The shockwave of his blade connecting sees her smog dispersed beneath the weight and power, sending the ash cloud scattering and fading away. "No more tricks." Raidou quips as the lightning finds purchase shortly after the edge finds its target. The Ashen one wails in disagreement, as nothing more than a simple sliver of her HP remains still stuck in her bar. A bit of steam from her body as that energy grounds out through her feet. It then becomes known that Raidou had cut her left arm off clean, leaving her disarmed and ripe for the picking. She wasn't long for this world, and as the wanderer leaned low. His intentions were clear.

Concentration CD [3/5], Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing

That kneel quickly turns into a lunge, a blur of red as his robe struggled to keep up. The flapping was undeniable as it sways past his legs. A vibrant and sunlight filled blade slides into the creature's chest like a hot knife through butter, no resistance. The tiny bits of stardust bleeding from that opened socket, as her very shape began to crack and splinter. "Checkmate. Think twice next time." Raidou offered the warning as if some part of this thing would remember this exchange. Hopes that would go unnoticed, only he would remember this. A heavy tear toward the dimly lit gray sky sees her torn open into two halves. A spray of the stuff that composed her, like an echo of glass, as she was no more. The light fades, and with a twist, the weapon is released into its sheath on his back. Gone, but not forgotten.

Beneath the impact reveals a cave in, a hole into somewhere. Curiously, Raidou tilts his head, fixes his lenses and takes a few steps down. The ground was a bit uneven, and it was cramped. Down within its confines the wanderer finds some creatures lost to time, like the Ashen one some unliving elf that has been since scorned by whatever burned above. A few honest steps inward sees them look at him with hostile intention. "Not wise." Raidou quips rather abruptly as they draw weapons with that same hallowed hiss. Within a second, Raidou already slams his blade across the lot of them. The static parades off of Auric in a waltz through the air. Catching the floor and discharging, the opponents lay strewn across the place and winded. He wasn't one to hesitate, it seemed, and they had earned what followed soon after with their intent. It would be over before it began.

Concentration Refreshed!

Lightning leaps down the length of that solarite blade, and within that same second Raidou dumps his energy into it, pushing it into overdrive. A column of light consumes the chamber, casting a shadow over Raidou's face and making his lenses nothing more than a sheet of white over his eyes. In that blast, none could escape, and as such the entire lot of the opposing army was reduced to the ash they were made of. Gone, and with their erasure, was the scream of multiple things being shoved into his inventory without his input. A glance around this empty nest shows that it was nothing more than a grave of moving corpses. Just one more small thing erased for good and removed from the possibility of harming another. The red wanderer was even still protecting others in his silence, just simple cause and effect of being as wanderlust as he was. Learning more and more about what changed with every step.

Moved to Floor 10

A familiar floor, a quick transition in a flash of blue light. It was time to check on the principles of Tartarus and its shores. Recalling Val Halla, he was concerned what may have changed. What if Fenrir was more of an oppressive force on this floor? A very real possibility with Shadow altering everything with that black tide of his. Ushering through the plaza and into the darker halls of the place, of course almost immediately pulling the ire of some of its denizens. Those skeletal constructs quickly, cackling and rushing toward the swordsman that stuck out like a sore thumb. One sideswiping blow dismisses them like children, a spray of bone that falls into pieces. They begin to roll and attempt to reform the shapes that Raidou had just obliterated without even a second glance. A spin of his blade, an almost divine light as sparks rack down its length. "You're in my way." He spoke truthfully, but they wouldn't understand.

Saving time was the first thing on the forefront of his mind, and as that same pillar of light consumes the rattling pieces. The clicking stops, as they are evaporated in its girth. As before, any that opposed him wouldn't even get a rebuttal. He wasn't the most damage heavy, but reliable and consistent. A slew of learned techniques that continued to play out in every encounter. Rapid adaptation to whatever situation arose spoke to this consistency. Spinning his blade into the slot it owned on his back, a heavy breath intentionally kick-starting his recovery. He couldn't afford to squander his time, the day was already pushing into the afternoon. The soft clacks of his boots against that darkened stone passage are heard on echoes throughout. He slowly disappears into that darkness, moving to see just what this floor had in store now. What exactly had changed, needed to find its way to a page.

OOC Correction based on PT patch: Raidou's Mit becomes 104 due to the deactivation of his Custom Skill, Relaxed [1/2]

Digging through the wreckage of the bones, peeling up panels of metal left behind from their destruction. They rattle as his hands shift through the whole of it. There wasn't much here for him to take, but there was some available. Adding the bits into a brown linen sack, they clatter together like coins. A pull of the tie sees the bag closed, taking a solid gander at the place in whole. Tartarus seemed more or less the same, raising to full size and unfolding, he adjusts the slipping lenses on his brow. "I would have expected more." No doubt, Fenrir and his adds remained unchanged. Loads of battles across that sea of dead, and more still should someone so choose. But he had walked that path, and it seems his footprints still lingered in that sand.

Moved to Floor 1

Relaxed triggered, Full HP/EN Restored!

The familiar greenery and outlook of a floor to which his journey had begun. Faces assault his memory as he was curious how some had turned out. Quinn, Rosary, Foto among others. Into the patch just on the outskirts of town, nothing seemed altered. The same wind blew, the same smells and sights paraded against his senses. The soft snap of the plants showed that they were much more mature than they should be on this floor, showing that there was some change, but not enough to make a large difference. It proved only that lower floors were now more active supply lines, breeding further into his prospective protection of the land scorched by Byakko as something that needed to be done. A rustle as the nomad offers the plant into his bag, for closer inspection and study to attempt to disprove what appeared on the surface. "All seems the same, mostly." Raidou quipped as lower leveled players continued to assail mobs for a night's meal.

Into the walls of the city, into the rather rhythmic droves of hordes eager to breach the night air and get a jump on mobs spawning for the new day. Raidou was moving opposed to them, past into the main birth of the shops and districts. A notification, one that breeds him to inspect the quest board. He finds a quest newly placed upon its surface, and within a moment and a few sways of a crimson robe upon his shoulders, he finds the narrow walks in darkened iron bars.

A place that didn't exist until now, needed further inspection. Slithering masses with mouths a plenty find the static like pulse from Raidou's blade before they can even blink. Strewn across the place in piles parroting carcasses, they are winded and knocked within final legs in nothing short of seconds. They were impending progress, and the wanderer had not time to squander. It was the one resource that was absolutely finite.

Another earth-shattering blow sees one reduced to digital ash, the sound follows the flash. Discharging in a scattering film of forks that seek the walls and floor as the closest exit from the air in bends, lightning escaping view. The prompts and a spin of his blade, air on the palm and a correction of his lenses in a silent stare. Sparks soon after as attempts against his hide find some semblance of purchase, dealing some but not an unmanageable amount of damage past his defenses. The grinding echoes off the walls, as writhing cables seek out his skin and find only steel. The flapping of a red robe, moving about in haste, Raidou had regained his faculty rather quicker than projected. His stalwart guard still ever present and against it, attacks seemed to languish one after another. Energy still held, walls still dark, and a soft exhalation as the last blow rolls off his shoulder. The subtle tick of his health as it started to rapidly climb.

Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing, Exploration: ID#197070 results: Loot:6+6=12: Nothing Happens

One more blast, stamina dumped into a weapon, causing it to surcharge and glow violently in an instant. His feet slide and his grip twists, point falling close to the floor. The robe again scatters as sprint triggers, casting his frame into a smear as that speed enters an unstable territory. Every skill that made him faster, all triggered one after another in a chain with a mental command. Detonation at the point of contact, a blast zone that sends more sparks jumping from his muscles to edge to stone. The chaining forks see stardust blue shards of glass fragment and fly off in every direction, showing a scream of prompt bleeding a mass into a system bestowed chat box. A finger to the bridge of his nose, a tussle of lenses on his brow and a roll of his right shoulder before the clacking of his heels begin to emanate off the walls.

Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing

Not but a few minutes later, the sounds of another racking of that steel as it screams, being used as a lightning rod from a self-contained storm. A gift from a boss that had unknowingly bestowed it to the man that faced it alone, foolishly. More health pools tick down rather aggressively, damage received so much before when it could even be countered. Littered about the place just the same, left to weakened frames and attempting to use every appendage imaginable to lift themselves up. Raidou begins to shuffle through papers on a table left here, reading on the material, as his opposition couldn't find the strength they needed to stop him. His health still recovering, his presence still demanding respect, although he did not wish it to. Raidou was just a man, but one that had feigned a monster. Unfortunately for them, they were opposed, and they were snares to keep his pace slowed.

Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing

Evidently the strength begins to rebuild, and tightening his grip, he places down the parchment he was inspecting. It seemed that in this place, to understand anything he'd need to peruse during combat. There would be a break between unless he stole it, and his skill set would hardly reflect that as a possibility. Perhaps wiping them all out would work, he pondered, and yet he struggled to see it would work here. This place seemed designed with the intention of these numbers to never falter, unlike common floors this had no cap on how frequent the mobs could be slain. A theory, that would need stringent testing before confirming. A build of yellow light upon solarite steel, before a single wide horizontal ark tears through them all. HP dumps into the floor, leaving the targets struggling in red flashing fragments. "Hmm." falls from his lips, a vocal approximation of the moment as his thoughts stirred in the melting pot.

Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing

The blow tears from right to left, sending a spray of red light that mixes with the gold like a dying sun. The edge turns and sweeps back again, slightly higher, drawing more of the same upon digital skin. The creatures wail in agony before the screams stop, popping like a broken cup and sending their fragments into every nook and cranny they could seek. Back to the table immediately, desperate to find something to yield before and if more were to return. Scanning the pages one after another, finding what most were fake records of villains housed here, and yet the cells were empty. Dormant of any transgressor that such parchment claimed. Was it actual? Or were they nothing more than creations? Perhaps they had escaped their confinement, due to Shadow's influence. Names one after another transferred from page into a menu, cataloged for further interpretation. It was worth a second glance.

Raidou recovers 54 via Battle Healing

The cacophony of slithering as pools of flesh and bone move through the halls, finding the swordsman so desperately trying to read what he could. A turn of his head sees a pair of white shields covering the top half of his face, reaching an arm back over his right shoulder and ripping clean a blade since docked. It glows with fury bestowed to it, energy running low but not out. He needed peace, a moment of reprieve from this constant interruption. But how would he obtain such a thing? This was starting to look like a foolish errand to pursue. Another backlash of his anguish, a wide sweeping yellow ark that deals quite the number on those that had overstepped their bounds. He was growing impatient, and it showed on the thick red film that starts to bleed off of his shoulders. Anger, personified in a miasma like fog.
