<Let There Be Light>

Back to basic. With the change of appearance, Yuki would be leaving behind the old title of The Pink Paladin and ushering in a new era for herself. No more hair dye or hiding behind an emotional shield. The blonde will carve a path to the future in whatever way she saw fit. Seeing as how the frontlines had yet to amass on the 27th floor's labyrinth boss so far, she would do with her time as a mentor for those still trying to find courage and skill to become strong player like herself. Well, stat wise at least.

Floor two, Urbus. The eagerness she had when she first started leveling her stats didn't keep her in this low level area for very long but she knew that she would see budding players around these parts if any. Standing near a significant quest location would only help her find those looking for experience to bolster their strength. Of course, she would stick out like a sore thumb with her unique gear and glowing figure. Passerby's gazes gravitated to her, easy to point her out as a high-level player and, in turn, a front-liner.

It was time to get serious, there was no moving forward at this level, Syra had to get stronger, what help could she be to clearing the game at this level, with these skills. She didn't care how risky it was, it was worth dying for, if it meant that she could help free all the other players.
However she was crazy, so she settled on working through simple quest, in order to boost her stats a bit.
"Would be really nice to have some help, but I can't just go around asking every skilled fighter to take a break from what they are doing, to babysit me."

No she had more or less settled on the fact that whatever she did, she was going to do it alone.

Upon making it to the second floor, she was awestruck by the difference it was to the town of beginnings. This town Urbus, sitting as it was on top of this mountain, nestled in. It was unlike anything she had seen before! Making her way through the gates, she opened up her quest menu, making sure she knew where she was going.

"Well, says I should just encounter the person here... and receive the quest"
Inspecting up and down the streets, she was beginning to think she would never find the quest spot. Re-opening her window, she frantically checked again, to insure she didn't miss read, or over look any details. Then something caught her eye. A blonde haired girl, very obviously decked out in gear Syra could only dream of having, standing just at the corner of one of the streets. "Would that be the quest marker? No that looks to be a player, but what is a player at that level, doing on this floor?" She thought it over, and made the choice to walk over to say something, rather than just staring from a distance. "Maybe she would know where I can at least find the quest marker, What's the harm in asking?"

Making her way closer to the player, she locked eyes with her as she approached, taking in a breath, "I am sorry to bother you, but I am looking for the quest marker called Let there be light, you wouldn't happen to know where it is?" Suddenly she felt foolish, Here she was this literal knight in shining armour, being approached by a ragged girl with one leather chest plate, and a dingy Rapier...Syra felt like an idiot, "Why did I think it was a good idea just to approach her like this?"
In hopes to not make it more awkward, Syra smiled slightly, "I'm sorry, it's just I am new to how this whole game works, and I am trying to level up a bit, but it seems I keep getting lost, and I have only really been on the first 2 levels."

Several players would walk by. Eyes were trained on her, despite it not being uncommon for high level players to make their rounds on lower floors. Many of those people owned houses on these floors so some of them even lived here. That being said, the paladin herself probably stood out a bit more than others thanks to her attire. The way someone carried their self really changed how they were presented to strangers.

Soon, she would find the person she was looking for. Young, even moreso than herself. To be completely honest, Yuki had spent so much time in this game tearing through mobs and dungeons and bosses that she couldn't even grasp her own concept of time. She had practically lost track of how many years they'd been stuck in here. Of course none of that really matter when you thought about the distance they still had left on their marathon.

Getting off track. Yuki would see the person before they even approached her. A girl finishing her teenage years probably, red hair and unmistakable beginner gear. If the paladin knew one thing, it was that gear meant everything in this hell. She had come close to death before but at the same time, she had become invincible from sheer numbers. It all matters in what you are wearing.

As the girl approached, Yuki took her back off the wall and stood straight. Thanks to her heels she barely stood taller than the other woman but not by a noticeable amount. The red-head would ask her if she knew of a quest location that she was looking for. Of course, she did. That was why she was standing in this spot. "I do." Her authoritative tone came out, deep and somewhat sultry. She would confide in Yuki that she was new to leveling, which was obvious to a veteran of the game. The blonde would nod in response. "Then you will not mind if I escort you through the quest. My gear will annihilate anything that threatens you. I will not hold your hand, just simply ensure that we lose one else to this needless endeavor. Follow me, please."

The golden paladin would lead her to the quest giver without hesitation. A frantic mother would approach Syra the instant they came into view. She would almost ignore Yuki, seeing as how she's already cleared this quest, the giver would obviously target the one who hasn't. With her searching skill and reveal, it would easy for her to navigate the cave they were about to go through and protect the budding player from a death they would have trouble seeing.

It was abrupt, jumping in and offering to come along, all before even introducing yourself. Though Syra couldn't say much, clearly this player has had some experience, and when it comes down to it, the mission is clearing the game, getting as many people out of here safely. So she was grateful to have the company, and protection if need be.
She followed the worrier to the quest point, within an instant a frantic woman came running up to Syra, begging for help to locate her child. The women went on to explain how her child went to the caverns in the mountain with some friends, despite the warnings from her mother.
After the explanation was complete, the option to start the mission popped up. Taking a moment to look back at the player watching over her shoulder, Syra took a breath and accepted the quest.
"R-really? Thank you! Thank you so much, you have no idea how grateful I am! Your e-efforts won't go to waste, I swear! I'll have something for you when you get back, I-I promise!" And with that the location pinned in Syra's map.
She headed back to her new... "escort" ready to head out.
"Well looks like we are heading out to the mountains...." the two started walking in the direction the map was guiding. "I'm Syra by the way... um thank you for helping me out in this quest." She waited for a response, maybe something to help break the ice. It would be enough to say, even though sweating wasn't totally possible in this world, Syra was sweating a little bit.

Yuki would wait patiently for Syra to collect all the information that she needed. Obviously the paladin had nothing better to do in the moment and getting engrossed with the world was a good first step to seeing past it. If they were to escape this prison they would need to understand it first. Once they were finished and the newbie had collected her quest, Yuki would extend a party request to her. She could probably aid the red-head without needing to do such but it was a nice incentive to be able to see her health bar. That being said, she was sure that the enemies on this quest could kill her in a couple of hits and it was exactly for that reason that she was standing out on the sidewalk waiting for her. If she was to attempt such recklessness alone she would become nothing but data in the metaphorical wind.

When Syra introduced herself, Yuki nodded to her. "My username is confusing. Simply address me as Yuki. Most people mispronounce it. Also, don't mention it. As I said before, I want to escort but I have no intention of holding your hand. So long as you stand behind me, my shield is your shield. Unfortunately, my shield cannot protect everyone so you must learn to protect yourself as well." Opening her menu, the paladin would do something akin to suicide to anyone at Syra's level: Remove all her leveled gear. "When we get into a battle, I will keep the enemies attention. You just take your time and learn the basics of combat. It will be dark inside and even I will have difficulty seeing in the darkness. That should be nothing to worry about though."

Well, it was good to be able to have the company in any case. Plus there is no telling what would happen if Syra tried going in on this mission alone, so whatever the reason it was for Yuki to want to tag along, it was more than a welcomed addition for Syra.
As they made their way out of the city, syra listened intently to every word from Yuki, her advice would mean the matter of life or death, "Guess I had no idea how dangerous this mission was, if she wasn't there waiting, I would have taken this on alone, and who knows what would have happened, just another player falling victim to this world,"
"Thank you for helping me out with this! I hope I am able to pick up on things quickly... Have you been fighting on the frontlines?" Yes this might have been too big of a question, but desperate for find something to chat about, maybe this player would be open to talking about their advancements. "Sorry, I don't mean to pry, just curious how things are going up there? I am trying to work on my skills to maybe one day be an asset with them, and help put an end to all of this."
Noticing that Yuki took off her armour, Syra wondered what the reason was, is it not better to be more protected? Though who was she to ask such a question, might be a strategic choice... or maybe to give her extra agility.
Finally heading out of the town, Syra pulled up her map, and continued in the direction of their destination.
