[F11 | PP] Relax and Report <<Tracker's Alliance Check-in>>

Recommended Posts

OOC: In an effort to accrue Guild Tokens, I'm running a monthly Guild-only private thread where any member of the Tracker's Alliance is invited to post. These threads will open on the first Monday of each month, and I will close and submit them on the following Monday. If you want to join, your only obligation is a single, minimal effort post describing any guild efforts they've taken since the last meeting.

Players are welcome to make three posts to meet the experience minimum, but it is not expected. (Because I'll be making the opening and closing posts, I'll probably make a habit of sneaking in a third post in for the experience, myself.)

"Sorry about calling this crack of dawn meeting, everyone. I'm about to head down to Floor 18 on some (probably bad) intel, but the broker I bought it from swears the monster only spawns between first light and sunrise. I brought tea and pastries as an apology." If she called more meetings like this, Wulfrin would probably end up having a word with her. If Morningstar didn't kick her out of the guild first. At least that would be one less thing to worry about—but the pang in her gut at the thought of leaving suggested it wasn't that simple.

Her attention returned to the meeting. "I'd like to start hosting come check-ins with the guild. They're entirely optional because we're all adults. And I can't make you do anything. More the latter than the former." Apparently, I have no filter this early in the morning. Maybe everyone is too tired to care. "And the meetings won't always be this early. I'm open to suggestions on a routine time."

She was rambling again; she took a small breath to focus herself. "Very quickly, I'd like to go around the room and hear what guild activity you've done since we last met up. And it's ok if the answer is 'nothing.' I just think we'll make for a better guild if we keep up with each other. That way, we're not accidentally retracing any steps. Once you've given a report, you're free to head out and start your day, or stay and mingle, or go back to sleep. At any rate, please take a pastry on the way out. The chocolate almond croissants are a personal favorite of mine."

Wulfrin rubbed his eyes as he sleepily made his way to the included rendezvous point for the early morning meeting. For now he was alone, though he had attempted to coax his loving wife out of bed to attend, but she insisted on "five more minutes" that quickly became another hour. Wulfrin was exhausted as his days had grown rather busy as of late. Sentinel Armaments was undergoing its expansion, the country club was becoming more and more of a daunting task, and on top of that he had guild duties. The ability to find more than just a handful of hours to rest and relax was becoming more and more of a novelty for the swordsman. His appearance was even more of a disheveled mess. His armor was half on and looking worse for wear and his sword was suspiciously missing from the sheath on his back.

"Morning," Wulfrin yawned as he shambled up to the meeting point like a zombie freshly risen from the dead. His left hand slowly raising to form a half hearted salute. "Reporting for duty..."

Acanthus started the meeting as Wulfrin plopped himself into the seat just left of the table's head. As the second in command of the Tracker's Alliance, Wulfrin felt the obligation to attend each of these meetings, no matter how much emphasis was put on them being non-mandatory. A metal can materialized in his hand from his inventory. With a satisfying cracking sound followed by the gentle fizzing of soda, Wulfrin immediately seemed to spark to life as he chugged the drink. While the drink didn't actually have an effect, as many drinks and food didn't actually provide anything to the body outside of buffs, the placebo effect of chugging a soda was more than enough to kickstart his day.

"I'll start with equipment stocks then," Wulfrin cleared his throat with a renewed energy. "I stocked the guild vault with some tier one loaner items we can pull from. These are meant to be loaned out to low level players we may be questing with. I've noticed more players leaving the Town of Beginnings as of late, so figured being ahead of the curve was a good place to be." Wulfrin materialized a second can, only sipping on this one as he continued his update. "As many of you know, my crafting skills have expanded to include all of the available professions. I can make literally anything you need. That said, custom orders will take me some time as I have many, many, irons in the fire. Guild requests always take priority though and shall remain free so long as I've got the material reserves."

Satisfied with his update, Wulfrin turned his attention to the next to speak.
