[OP-F8] Hunting the upper floors (6/6)

Baldur moved over to Crow and offered him a hand to help him up, while the others chatted and moved about the platform. In this section of the floor, mobs would have slower respawns since they were more powerful, likely they would have a few minutes before they had to be worried. He smiled at the P.U.G. that they had brought together. He hadn't known all of them, nor any of them well aside from Tyger, but they seemed to be performing flawlessly out here. They were a good group. Together, they could accomplish much. And for a moment, Baldur dared to let himself dream.

"Has anyone found anything yet?" He called to them as he himself began to make a circuit of the platform, though mostly in the direction of the next bridge.

It didn't look like there was anything to be found. Baldur tsked softly to himself. He was hoping to find them more regularly, as they would be a huge part of the payoff on something like this. Just one chest on this floor could contain over 900 col according to the information brokers. He prodded the loot icon in the bottom left and reviewed what they had found so far. Not a bad turn-out, and it would only get better. This had been a test to see if they could work together. These had been mobs that Baldur and Tyger could have taken on themselves, though maybe not all three at once. Ahead, beyond Koko village, that was where they would face the real test, but they had to build up teamwork before they could attempt something like that.

"Alright, lets head out before anything more responds. Just a few more platforms away and we should come to Koko village. Beyond that are more difficult mobs, and then even further is the floor's dungeon. The boss may have been cleared, but there's still lots of loot and experience to be gained there."

Baldur set foot onto the wood and rope bridge, feeling it sway slightly beneath his feet as he looked down, far below, at the murky waters. He was terrified of heights, but he wouldn't let anyone see him show fear. They would press on, and they would succeed, and they would be one step closer to the front lines.
