"Nnphhaa!" The Chieftain recoiled with each hit that was delivered to him, briny water spewing from his mouth as he writhed and spat against the new assault aimed in his direction. He gasped for air, large gills on either side of his long scaly neck flaring with each inhale. Yet as he stood, his head slumped over, the Chieftain was quickly bathed in a potent green light. The red gashes that had been driven into him slowly closed their wounds, and he then began to laugh. A slow chuckle that erupted into a fanatical cackle when he through his head back towards the sky. "Yes, YES!" He shouted, "Struggle against your fate, fight without meaning until your bodies break!" With a great war cry, the Chieftain ran at Shield with his impressive axe held high. He came crashing down on the man, but as with each strike before his mighty weapon only managed to dent his defenses. Colliding battle axe with shield, the two figures were locked in a short struggle. He jerked upwards to hook the edge of his blade around the barrier and attempt to rip it away, but he struggled to pry the item away from its bearer's body. "You will make such hearty sacrifices." He hissed, extending his long neck to bring his reptilian face even closer to Shield's. One clawed hand moved from the pole of his weapon to grip the side of the barricade between them amid the taunt, but a stabbing, burning pain shot through to his eyes. The Chieftain cried out, disengaging from the tank as he recoiled again from the defensive damage that his armor carried. "Ffssh, sshhaaa..." Something like the sound of waves caused the Chieftain's head to turn, where he saw the lone remaining Shaman dropped to one knee. "Hmph. It matters not." Its leader simply growled in response before turning his attention back to the players gathered before them. <<Sahagin Chieftain>> ID: 111211 | BD: 7+1+1=9 [Hit] 300 DMG - 251 MIT = 49 DMG to Shield Sahagin Chieftain takes 99 DMG from Thorns/Immolation Potion <<Sahagin Shaman>> Cura heals Sahagin Chieftain for 500 HP Sahagin Shaman is Drained. The Chieftain looked quizzically at the human. "Back out?" The chieftain thought for a second. He had spent some time teaching his shamans the human language, and even longer studying it and he had never heard of the term 'back out' before. But then it clicked for him, and anger took ahold. "You mean, you plan to retreat?" He shouted. "And you call yourself a defender, a warrior!" He readied his axe and charged at the female human. His axe missed narrowly, his rage blinding him to reality. The edge of the axe just skirting by, barely missing the human. Another streak of heavy water jetted past, dampening the sand just shy of where she was, the sight of a raging Chieftain causing the small frame of the shaman to tremble slightly. The chieftain waited for a response from the human in front of him, but before he could get a response another of his Shamans fell. He turned to see the female human again rush up past her partner and attack. Overextending, again. What was this the second or third time? It didn't matter. Perhaps she thought her speed would save her again, and sure enough her reactions and nimbleness aloud her to deftly dodge his axe. A coward the human was, unlike the other human with her. She at least took the blow. Where was the pride in running away? A warrior should face combat head on with no regards to bodily harm. The stronger of the two forces would prevail. He looked over at the next human, the dark clad female human who wielded an axe like he did. "You're the plan maker here, aren't you? What's your plan?" He asked, his axe pointing it at her. "You humans are all the same. You only see yourself, never looking for the survival of your race." The chieftain said. Sahagin Chieftain ID: 111009 BD: 2 (miss) @Zandra

The Chieftain saw the blows targeting his shamans, so they were capable of something. At least, he thought so until only one of their blades managed to find its mark and even then , all it did was make one of his shaman see stars. A decent strike, but a weak one nonetheless. The other remaining shaman shook his head free of the previous stun, ready to rejoin the fray. The Chieftain barked at it, and was ready for to attack. But he was smarter than most creatures from the ocean. He was smarter than these, humans. He was able to adapt, to overcome. He held his attack by a few moments to let the air surround him, the gifts from the Whorleater would protect him from the tricks of the humans. The coral wand glowed in the shamans hands, and the gust of wind and air surrounded the chieftain protecting him again. Feeling the sensation, he then went to strike. His axe flew through the air and struck into the shield of, Shield. The human met with the Chieftain, with unexpected initiative. It took the Chieftain by surprise, as the human nearly grinned back at him. The shield quickly flinched to the side, the blade of his axe falling nearly harmless off into the sand. Quickly standing, he pointed his axe at the human. "You. Why do you fight?" He asked, curious ignoring the rest of the humans for a moment. The Chieftain couldn't contain his smile, nor his boisterous laughter. The humans were nearly infighting. Maybe, he could push their weakness to his advantage. "Yes, why not? Stop my men from healing me, and the battle will easily be won. The day will be yours." He said, continuing to laugh. He raised his axe, and swung it at the lone human. "The key to stop me is by stopping me tribe! But of course!" He mocked as his joy and lust for combat affected his swing, and his great swing fell short, just shy of missing the human. "YES!" He cried, as a burst of water narrowly missed against the human. His shamans catching the hints of the plot that he was trying to cook. "Struggle more!" He called out, positioning himself for the next volly of attacks. This group was especially troublesome. He would not acknowledge them as warriors, but he would not underestimate them. "Well humans?" He asked, readying his body. Sahagin Chieftain ID:110989 BD: 4+1=5 (miss) Sahagin Shamans ID:110990 BD: 3+1=4 (Miss) @Shield @Baldur @Hirru @Beat

The body of the chieftain glowed once more as the healing took effect. His busted jaw, the cuts and gouges on his body all healed and disappeared. They were all weak, couldn't even outdo the healing that was granted to them by the great whorleater. Wasting no more time, the Chieftain lunged forward at Ruby with murderous intent. Again the human was too quick, no he would never admit that. They were not better than him. These human were different than the ones he had sacrificed before. Their gear, their items, their tactics. It was all foreign, perhaps they were from a different land. Yes, that made more sense. And what better way to prove himself to the great Whorleater then by defeating these foreign humans? And after they were gone, he could spread his clan out into the ocean and find more lands to conquer. Almost as soon as they came, the humans focused onto one of his Shamen killing it instantly. Damn them. Damn them all. The chieftain stood tall, and raised his axe ready to bring it down against the one who would dare taunt him. The heavy head of the axe slammed into Shield with a sickening crack as the blade made contact with the shield. The Chieftain changed his grip midway through the swing, throwing Shield's shield arm aside and jabbing him in the chest with a point of the axe. "Stay sharp?" The Chieftain taunted. "Impossible to do, since you all have been so dull thus far!" He said, letting out a single guffaw. One Shaman could see the small flecks of poison dripping from the wounds that had been inflicted upon his chieftain and with a quick chant, a gust of air flew around the Chieftain. The fleck of poison were thrown and pulled from the body and the gusts of wind remained as another burst of water jetted by towards Shield. The water jet slammed into shield, causing the familiar effect of knocking him back a few feet from the impact. The axe raked through his body and the axe continued through to strike the last of his shaman. He sighed as he fell. All of them were weak, and of course it was up to him to bring these filthy humans down. But he was not one to admit he was without fault. He was tribe leader, and as much as his tribe needed him. He needed they. Quickly stepping back clawed hands entered the corners of his mouth, and almost impossibly a sharp whistle blew out. "Come on boys!" He cried out, an evil smirk appearing on his face as three bursts of water erupted from the ocean. Three more sahagins, each one wielding a corral rod same as the ones before appeared next to their chieftain. "Look into the ocean and despair humans! Fo you are only a finite source, we are infinite! Tis' her blessing that we are plenty, and tis' her will that we eradicate all humans!" The chieftain cried out, readying to attack. The chieftain locked his jaw and held his ground as the blow came. His body unfaltered and he held his ground, unmoving. He grinned at the human as she pulled away. "I eagerly await it! But, I can't wait to send you all to oblivion first!" He cried out, readying his axe to cleave the two. His axe slammed into Hestia's shield tossing her aside as his blow moved to the other one of the troupe. But as he expected she was to fast as easily dodged out of the way. "Now now, how can I sacrifice you, if you don't stand still!" The chieftain yelled as he prepared himself for another attack. His wounds closed as the lone shamen worked its skill and cured him of his wounds. The remaining shaman looked nervous, the last one standing desperately clutching its rod with it's two clawed hands. The Chieftain shrugged it off, it was no matter if he died or lived. Sahagin Chieftain ID: 110485 BD: 5+1+1=7(hit) [350 - 171 = 179 damage to Hestia] MD: 4+1-3=1(miss) Sahagin Shamans Used Cura

They came quick, quickly as the Sahagins did to cleanse this land free of the humans at her beckon. The humans slew another one of his shamans, one of them shouting out how big of heroes they were. The chieftain scowled, his axe at the ready, if they were heroes then he would show them. His axe rose high and he brought it down hard and fast against the would be hero. The axe digging in against the shield but something was off, even though it was a strong blow why did he feel so, woozy all of a sudden. Leaping back he checked his hands, small wounds that leaked small bits of liquid that wasn't blood. He spat on the ground. "And heroes are supposed to use such tricks? Do all humans resort to treacherey to survive?" He taunted. "No matter, your time will come soon enough!" He said, reading himself to strike again. He sidestepped once to the side letting a stream of water geyser past and watched it strike against the would be hero. It was always amusing to see something go flying backwards by one of those blasts. Disappointed with the first two, the chieftain turned over to the side, only to meet the business end of an axe. He felt the blade enter and exit as he turned his head to watch it strike two of his shamans were struck as well. The damaged one fell. A weakling. Another dodged, and preceded to cure his wounds. The wind barrier around the chieftain shattered, knocking wind bursts around as the stun effect didn't take effect. But the third one clutched his wounds, unable to move. No matter. The chieftain grinned as he prepared his own axe and swung as the black clad human. But as he swung the human raised her own axe, his blade deflecting off of it and burying itself deep into the soft sand. As he removed his axe from the ground he could see more of the filthy humans arriving. Oh good, more sacrifices for him to kill. The chieftain huffed at the two warriors, the stun effect fading off of him and his allies. He redied his axe, primed for blood. "That's it?" He cried out. "What about to your courage? Your boltrious claims of power?" He pointed his axe to the other human that had arrived. "Because that human arrived you realised that you were weak, and had no chance by yourselves?" That had to be the answer. That these two had only put on bravado to save face until a third arrived. And after that, their spirits crushed themselves, how disappointing. He roared and lurched forward bringing his Axe round at the two, anger being his drive. His anger short sighted him and he swung to early, his axe bouncing off of the heavy armored shield of Hestia. "If you have no spirit to fight me, then just die!" He called out as the shield of air returned over the chieftain, shielding him from the elements that should happen. The shaman gave out a skittering laugh as the other two unleashed bolts of water at Hestia. One contacting with her shield knocking it to the side, as another slammed into her chest the force sliding her back a few meters in the soft sand. Another human!? That wretched species had so many members it was like trying to exterminate roaches. The Chieftain stared at the new fight. No matter, one more human would not make the difference. But then, the sound emerged. Although it was from only a human and a tool, the Chieftain looked out into the ocean. It sounded much like her. Was it part of her? And if so how did a mere human even get a piece of her divine body? His hands shook with rage and fear. Anger that was caused by a human imitating his goddess, and fear in the back of his mind that she may have abandoned him. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind free of the thoughts that plagued it. It had been a while since they had last sacrificed a human. And if that was the case of the Whorleaters displeasure. Then he would cut the ones here up for her. He would rip, and tear, and maim, in her name. He would deal with the hornblower later but for now, his body untensed as the stun effect took hold, he would deal with the others. First come, first served. No Actions Taken, Stunned

The Chieftains chest rose and fell in quick succession as a hissing laugh echoed across the beach. "We haven't even started!" He yelled out. "If it's an attack you want, it's an attack you'll get!" He roared out, the wind circling him as he rushed at Hestia. With expertise, years of training, height advantage and raw power to back him, the Chieftain dropped his ax low and brought both of his hands to it's pommel. A wide swing came up from behind Hestia's shield slamming into her side. A guttural roar escaped from the Chieftain as he grabbed Hestia. The thorns on the armor proccing, but the Chieftain seemed to not care. "Bleed for me WELP!" He shouted as he tossed hestia back a few meters before giving a sharp tooth grin. The Chieftain took a step back, and extended his arms outward to the side. A green light overtook him, and his health bar rose. As one of the Shamans had already used its ability to heal him. "This is the power she has gifted to us, human." The Chieftain explained, as two jets of water surged towards Hestia. "And with her blessings on our side, you cannot hope to fathom victory." He said, the grin returning as the shield around him dissipated. He was excited for how they would react knowing that all hope would soon be gone, no one was going to save them now. ~All players have 24 hours to reply to this thread. After 24 hours, players that had not posted will be skipped.~ @Hestia @Ruby The chieftain Raised his axe and rushed in to meet the fighters. The smart talker had to die first. "Only two? You'll need far more than that Humans!" He shouted, as he positioned himself to target both of the players. He would show them his might. It wasn't enough to just win the fight, he wanted to crush their fighting spirit. Just as he had done to every human before who had dare faced him in combat. The one with the yellow hair dashed in between him and his attack, catching him off guard. He had not expected a human to rush in like that. He swung his axe early as he tried to catch the two at once, His axe just grazed off of the darker ones shield, and his attack wasn't even close to hitting the yellow haired one. He then watched as one of his shamans began to take a flurry of blows. They would hold, but for now the darker one held his attention as he turned to face the human more head on. The shaman shrieked and his eyes went wide in a cartoonish way as a pale fist met contact with its face, it being throw backwards form the force. Despite the blow, the shaman stood up. It had taken much worse before, and it would taken even worse after this. It's rod glowed brightly, as it launched a large blast of seawater at the bright haired one that had held its anger. One other shaman fell in suit, just as they had trained. The third, raised it's staff on high and called for the sea winds to protect the chieftain. Swirling air surrounded the chieftain, creating a barrier around him. The attacks from the shamen all found their marks, pushing the fighters back some distance creating space between them. The chieftain stood tall, proudly holding his axe. "Come, that's not all that you have then?" He said, wanting to play with his food some more.
