    [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 2]

The second set of Commanders were dead, all of them having burst into pixels. The last one to go, being slain by Macradon. At that moment, before the players could react after their first round of attack, the four remaining Rain Commanders attacked! Each one going after Hazado, all but on dealing damage. Now there was time for the players to react. The two parties that this started with, merged together to one. The party that had arrived later, the same party that had killed their king stood their ground, sticking to their own confines of their party. The Rain Commanders would fight till their last breath escaped their throats. Their bodies huddling together as if they were planning something. After all of them were killed, would that mark the end of the event? Or would there be more..... Their muddled breaths escaping their mouths and their parted jaws. Their eyes, fried with a frenzy of emotions. They wanted to kill the entire player-base that had huddled together to fight them. They would kill them all. OOC The player did nothing against the Rain Minions. They instead chose to either stand there, regaining energy or stand there with a blank expression on their face. Two players, leaving the battle scene having grown bored of the fight. This was the opening that the Rain Minions needed! With only two left, they knew they had next to no chance to survive... But they would fight! There were less players now, after all! The Rain Minion 25, facing the bigger party, his eyes narrowing and focusing in on Kityuisa. It attacked, it's weapon singing the skin of the low-leveled player. Its eyes glistening as it prepared itself for them to attack back. Her retreating form a target, plastering in his vision. The second, Rain Minion 20 went for Arabelle, his spear missing considerably, though one might say there was a good 5 inches from where he aimed at at the body of the girl. It's low health making his vision hazy. His low health, making him miss his attack. The cackling was fading as they realized, despite next to no players, they too would be destroyed. [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 2]

OOC NOTES Curse the king they served for being weak. If he had not kept the tier three players at bay, the commanders would not be in the predicament that they were in! They could have slain the tier two players. But alas, nothing ever goes according to plan. The commanders watched as their brethren died. One after another, by the weapons of the tier two players. They felt the presence of their minions weakening and weakening, meaning the tier one players had almost wiped out their minions. Pretty soon this event would be over. They would all be back in the Cardinal system. The Rain Commanders were infuriated. They sought out the weak point, four going for Hazado, if they could paralyze him again, he might just leave in a steaming fit of rage! To no avail! Not a single paralyzes proc... The last Commander turning to Alec, attacking with a fierce heart and a steadfast soul. He listened as the commanders cheered towards his proc. He had been the lucky one of the group. 48 Hours to Post Deadline: 09/10/2019 Rolls: Boss Stats: Player Stats:

[Event-F22] Star Crossed Lovers [Tier 1]

OOC: Evil chanting, the Rain Minions kept their chattering. Their courage fading with each pixel that glazed the sky in radiant blues and greens. One rapier attack after another, more pixels. Rain Minion 14 was dead! Krysta, had slain yet another one of their companions. Kityuisa had lunged for the last remaining in the second group, its eyes now on her as the player that had just been standing their like a dead corpse just disappeared into the wind. The Rain Minion now had its eyes on her. It lunged, but had miscalculated. Kityuisa had ducked low to the ground, and his weapon missed her by a few feet. It retreated its stance, letting out a cackle. The other remaining Rain Minion had lucked out, not a single person had attacked it. It was ready, swinging at Arabelle. But he too, missed his attack. Don't falter! Keep on pursuing them! For our fallen king! For our fallen comrades! For our living commanders! Deadline: 09/10/2019 Boss Rolls: Boss Abilities: Enemy Stats: Player Stats:

    [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 2]

The commanders were infuriated! They could feel the growing presence of their Rain Minions growing thinner and thinner. This time, they would be victorious. They were the last line of attack. They could surely win this battle, right? Commander 2! A miss! Commander 3! A Hit! Commander 4! A miss! Commander 5! A hit! A paralyze even! Hazado wouldn't know what was coming to him. He got paralyzed again! The commanders laughed and laughed. Their evil cackles releasing from their hoarse throats. They had cheered and played too much today. It was time to get serious. They had enough of the players attacking them, they just wanted to win this one battle. They screeched out, trying to coordinate the rest of their attacks. To no avail, the rest of the Commanders? They missed their attacks. It was time to face their fears. Fight this battle. And win. Cackles increasing by the second. Deadline: 09/06/2019 Rolls: Boss Stats: Player Stats:

[Event-F22] Star Crossed Lovers [Tier 1]

OOC: We must become one! The cackling growing more intense as unease settled on the stomachs of the Rain Minions. Slay them! Kill them! For our slain brethren! For our slain king! The blonde, Krysta slashing at one of the Rain Minions that had not taken any damage. It burst into pixels. The next, another player by the name of Arabelle. Green flashes as she slid her battle axe across their body. The Rain Minion burst into pixels as the axe shuddered through his body. Each Rain Minion cackling as they nervously attacked. Each one, missing. One was facing the party, terrified out of its mind. The other two, grouping together... Terrified. Stay strong! Fight the evil! The nervous incoherent chatter between the Rain Minions increasing. They knew they were on the brink of death. They were going to die, but they would not go down without a fight! With almost all of the Rain Minions dead, the players would know that the end is near. Deadline: 09/06/2019 Boss Rolls: Boss Abilities: Enemy Stats: Player Stats:

    [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 2]

OOC: The T3 players were heavily dealing damage to the Rain Commanders. They were frustrated and very angry. If their king had never died, none of this would have happened! Alec fought the paralysis. But as soon as it was released, one of the Rain Commanders went in for another attack. The paralysis reigniting like a a spark landing on a blade of dried grass. Macradon, the very player that had killed their first Commander, their brother in arms. One Commander furious with what had happened lunged at him, giving out a moan of victory as the tank was paralyzed. That wasn't all! Almost every single Commander had managed to land their attack. The humor lifting through their ranks, due to the result of Domarus' failure in his attack. Their beady eyes challenging him as if knowing that he would miss his next attack. The tier three players were demolishing the armor that the Commanders oh so found pride in. Their frustration increasing. One, close to the end of his life span cried out for help as he was first attacked by Macradon, then by Itzal. It refused to take the bait, instead lunging at Alec. The one it had it's sights on. If they hurried, perhaps one player could finish off the sixth Rain Commander. EVA increased to 3 for Commander 7 & Commander 9 Deadline: 09/01/2019 Rolls: Boss Stats: Player Stats:

[Event-F22] Star Crossed Lovers [Tier 1]

OOC: Onward, Rain Minions! They had managed to luck out as not a single one crumbled into pixels. The players focusing on regaining their energy. Now! Our time to strike is here! Rain Minions! Attack! The remaining Rain Minions swarmed the remaining players, their distorted cackles drowning out the noise of the player's shouting at one another. Break their formation! Now is the time to strike! Not a single of us downed! We will be triumphant! They are focused on recovering! Now is our chance! We weep for our fallen ancestors! Let it fuel us to victory! Clunk! Clunk! The Rain Minions attacked, before retreating and circling each other. Their cackles, unintelligent. The only thing they knew how to do, swarm the players and dwindle their numbers. Another player leaving the scene, no longer interested in the Rain Minions. Infuriating! We are not weak! We are strong! Onward Rain Minions! For our slain king! Do not grow bored of us so quickly! The Rain Minions attempted to weave through the attacks. One getting trapped. A sickening crunch as the straight sword dug straight from underneath one of the Rain Minions, launching him into the air. The chaotic cackling increasing in volume. [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 2]

OOC: The swift arrival of the T3 Players just might have been the T2 Raid's saving grace! In what seemed like only the first few moments of their integration, the T2 Players quickly got a handle on a fight that had just seemed to be out of their control. Hazado and Alec both howled, drawing the attention away from their parties, and Vigilon and Domarus both opted to rest, conserving what little energy they had left. It seemed like they were preparing for another attack! Meanwhile, Mars' weapon drove into the first Commander, obliterating what little health it had left. It died silently, in an explosion of crystals - but there were still more, yet! At the same time, Macradon, Zandra, and Itzal (is he still acting like a different person?) all tore into the second party of commanders. Immediately, the tides were turned. What with their health dropping so drastically, maybe they weren't such a challenge after all! Even still, the Commanders still had a duty to continue. With bared fangs and loud hisses they threw themselves forwards, tearing into the raid with an unrelenting fury. Alec, the poor tank, would find himself paralyzed once more. Otherwise the damage was minimal. Things were starting to look up for them! Deadline: 8/25/2019 Rolls: Boss Stats: Player Stats:

[Event-F22] Star Crossed Lovers [Tier 1]

The fight finally seemed to be going in the raid's favor. Though horribly taxing, it looked like the T1 Players were nearing the end! The Rain Minions' numbers had been reduced drastically, leaving only six increasingly nervous looking mobs to fight. But, as if they were programmed to die on these players' swords, their assault was unrelenting. No matter what the odds, they were going to fight on! For honor! For glory! For their ki- Oh, he died. For the memory of their King! Onwards, Rain Minions! Make them shudder with fear! They'll tell stories about you one day, if only you push forward! Two more rounds. Maybe three or four or five, depending on whether the players watched their energy. It didn't really matter. The battle was all but won at this point - and it was pretty obvious that the raid parties knew it, too. They barely seemed worried. Had they ever even been worried at all? Should they have been? Would something come next? Deadline: 8/25/2019 Boss Rolls: Boss Abilities: Enemy Stats: Player Stats:

The rain minions let out distorted cackles as they continued to circle the two parties. Oh, how they loved how the chaos was spreading! The already weakened rain minion let out a gnarled shriek as the insane looking redhead chased after him. She just couldn’t let the bleed kill him, huh? Another weakened minion let out another shriek nearby as Dazia finished it off nearby. Well, there goes another one of their buddies. It seemed as if most of the raiders have missed their attacks, how unfortunate. Well, they minions couldn’t really blame them. One was sort of having a breakdown, another one has been kind of doing nothing for the whole time they’ve been there, and the others were just kind of having conversations in the middle of the fight..? It was almost kind of depressing how thin the minions’ numbers were getting, really, but that didn’t stop them from desperately wanting to tear out the hearts of the players! OOC Note: The commanders roared with victory. Surely they would win this fight! The raiders seemed to be losing hope, after all! This was surely an assured victory for their kind! How could they lost now when everyone seemed so hopeless about the fight but them? Well, that’s kind of what it seemed like at first until the players who killed their oh-so beloved king show up. The victorious and malicious grin plastered on the commanders’ faces were almost wiped all the way to the other end of the ocean when the T3s came. Oh, yeah, this was definitely not looking good for the fish people. So much for assured victory. A few of their own were already looking dangerously low, but that won’t stop their so called ‘fighting spirit’! A few extra raiders weren’t going to dim them! How dare they come right after they had just killed their rightful leader? Rolls: Boss Stats: Player Stats:

Surely they didn't think they'd see the end of the Rain Minions! These hyperactive little buggers swarmed the two groups once more, though their numbers were noticeably thinner and their attacks were noticeably weaker. Maybe the fact that they were being stretched so thin in terms of numbers was finally starting to have an effect on morale? Either way, it didn't change the fact that the monsters were having a hard time finding the chinks in the raid members' armors. "Nyeah," one clicked nervously, backing up and away from the raid.. That one didn't make it too far. Spinning around on one leg, it fell to the side and dissipated in a burst of pixels: an unfortunate victim of Bahr's Bleed. Kirbs followed suit and struck one of the monsters hard, practically eviscerating its health bar. It, too, was effected by bleed, and the redhead would get the sense that it wasn't going to last much longer. Arabelle swung her axe too, but because of her low energy there wasn't much power behind the swing. The Rain Minion blocked the brunt of it with the shaft of its spear, but got sent tumbling away regardless. Axes were heavy, man. The rest of the party struggled to even get a hit in. They dodged and ducked and hopped from toe to toe, giggling maniacally at their complete and utterly disastrous attempts at being useful. OOC Note: The Commanders were growing smug with what looked like a fastly approaching victory. Some of their ranks had been damaged in the clash, but they were dishing out more than what the parties seemed able to take. They giggled and snorted, waving their weapons around and taunting the ragtag raid. Were these really the best of the best? How pathetic! Some didn't have time to react as the Commanders rushed forward, attacking as one. The one struck by Domarus' axe was thrown backwards, but quickly hopped back onto its feet. One of the Commanders leapt forward, latched onto Hidden, and dragged the player into the water before emerging once more and rejoining their brethren. It wasn't looking good for the T2s. Was it perhaps time to consider retreat? Or would they push on and persevere? Would reinforcements even arrive in time? The near future was starting to look pretty bleak. [Event-F22] Star-Crossed Lovers [Tier 3]

The raid's attacks met the gargantuan, watery form of the Rain King in an explosion of color. Their Sword Arts and their words rang true! The monster's health dropped to zero in an instant. The Event Boss reered its ugly head, cackling one last time in the face of its death. And then its form began to crumble under its own weight, tentacles, arms, claws, and teeth dropping into the water from whence it came, shattering like glass before it even breached the surface. The rain's intensity quickly lessened and became a drizzle, and soon after it stopped altogether. The skies cleared and once more they would be free to admire the stars above. It was calm, now. Had they won? Or was this just the beginning of something more? Either way, the T2 players were still having trouble with their own fights. In front of them all reward screens would blaze to life, containing their individual prizes for successfully defending the festival from the invasion. Hikoru would surely be pleasantly surprised to find that he had gotten the LA Bonus, and had received a comfortable lump of col and mats for it. Regardless, the day was won, and they would now be free to leave or assist as they saw fit. LA Bonus (Hikoru): ID#121489 CD: 4 Players have 48 hours to either exit or join the T2 fight. Note: T3 Players will not receive rewards from the T2 event
