Alec swung his axe out and sank head into the side of the Elemental and again dislodged a chunk of ice from its body causing more blue pixels to spill out of the latest wound. The Ice Elemental then threw its punch at Alec but again he moved his shield to intercept and only received a mild jarring from the heavy pounding punch. As the icy fist struck the shield with a BONG Alec's shield began to hum then SNAP another arc of static electricity arced out and zapped the Elemental again. Alec raised his shield and took measure of the Elemental over its edge as he brought his Mithril Battle Axe back and prepared to deliver what he hoped would be the final strike as the large ice creature swung its massive fist at him again. As his axe head sank deeply his shield began a low hum that ended with a loud CRACK as it arced out and lanced the Ice Elemental with a large charge of static electricity that caused the creature to freeze in place unable to move its body as it became Paralyzed form the charge. Alec took a deep calming breath and raised his shield up before him as he brought his axe up high over his shoulder and as the Ice Elemental stood Paralyzed from the static electric shock Alec swung his axe down in a diagonal swing at the Elemental. Alec took a calming breath and swung his Mithril Battle Axe out in a side arc but as he stepped forward his foot landed on a slick patch and he lost his footing slipping and missing his swing at the Ice Elemental. As the Ice Elemental began to regain control of itself Alec took another deep calming breath to calm his nerves and center himself. As the beast began to move Alec raised his shield and stared down the Ice Elemental from behind his Shield of the Thunderhearts as he raised his Mithril Battle Axe up over his shoulder and prepared to strike the Ice Elemental and end this combat. Spoiler Roll: 115239 BD: 10 (Critical + 2) 5 + 2 = 7 DMG - Paralyze Activates MD: 10 - DEAD CD: 7 (+ 1 EN Regenerated) As the Ice Elemental began to stir Alec brought his MIthril Battle Axe up over his shoulder and swung round in a mighty swing that cleaved deep into the Ice Elementals frozen form sinking his mirror reflective axe head deep into the icy creature as his shield began a low deep hum at the same moment which ended with a loud CRACK that caused the Ice Elemental to begin to shudder and shake till it exploded in a huge explosion of blue pixels that fell like a thick coating of new fallen snow covering the ground before they disappeared into nothing. As Alec downed the Ice Elemental he heard a deep rumbling emanating from the center of the open tundra and knew even before he looked that he had successfully summoned the attention of <<Avalanche>>. As the Ice Elemental disappeared Alec heard a deep rumble coming from the center of the tundra and turned to look knowing exactly what he’d find there. Alec turned and saw another Ice Elemental only this one easily stood nearly twice Alec’s height at about 12 feet tall of gigantic solid ice and pure rage. Alec heard a deep bellow emanate from the beast as it began to charge in long earth rumbling strides that carried it quickly across the open tundra towards Alec. As the beast charged Alec called on the energy to power a Sword Art and as the energy responded he felt it surge into his Mithril Battle Axe causing the head to glow brightly as the energy peaked Alec let out his own bellow of challenge at Avalanche and let fly with his mirror finished weapon as the threw it at the charging beast. Alec stayed his ground and charged his Mithril Battle Axe with the energy that fueled Sword Arts. As the power peaked within his axe he let it fly from his hand as he swung his axe out in a side armed swing releasing it causing his axe to spin end over end like a boomerang to slam into Avalanche and carve out a huge chunk of its body that exploded in blue pixels as the beast let out a bellow of pain just before Alec's shield began its low hum that ended in a loud CRACK as the mighty Ice Elemental locked in place twitching and convulsing as its monstrous body became Paralyzed. Alec took a deep breath to calm himself as he raised his shield before him again and once more drew on the energy that powered Sword Arts. As the energy coursed through him it welled up in his Mithril Battle Axe causing it begin to glow as the power reached its peak lightning began to streak across the surface of his weapon and crackle and spark as it played along its length and across its head as Alec swung it down in a mighty blow aimed for the Ice Elemental Avalanche. Lightning spat and sparked as his mirrored axe head bit into Avalanche and tore free a huge chunk of ice that fell heavily to the ground and exploded in a shower of blue pixels as more blue pixels gushed from the now gaping wound in its side. Avalanche roared in pain and anger and drew back its enormous fist which it drove down at Alec intent on crushing him but Alec shifted his shield and expertly blocked the punch harmlessly away from himself safely. Alec brought his shield back up before him to defend against the giant ice creature as it brought its fists up over its head bringing them together to slam them down together on top of Alec. As its hands came together it drove them down clasped together to slam onto the top of Alec's shield as he raised it over his head to protect himself. The force of the mighty blow caused Alec to bend his knees beneath the sheer force of the strike but Alec kept his feet and fought the beast off. Bringing his shield and axe back up and ready to continue the fight. Alec took a quick breath of the cold air which was made even colder due to the presence of the monstrous ice cube in front of him as he brought his shield up and presented it to Avalanche. Alec raised his Mithril Battle Axe up over his shoulder and swing it down at the giant Elemental smashing it's mirror head into the monster and chopping away another large chunk of its ice body. Avalanche let out a deep low rumble as it swing its interlaced fists down crashing them into Alec's upraised shield with bone jarring force causing Alec's knees to bend but he refused to give ground. As Avalanche retracted its massive fists Alec brought his shield back up and raised his Mithril Battle Axe and prepared to go again. Spoiler Roll: 115286 BD: 8 + 2 = 10 (Success) 5 DMG MD: 4 (Fail) CD: 10 (+ 1 EN Regenerated) As Avalanche retracted its huge ice boulder like fists Alec raised his shield and brought his Mithril Battle Axe and swung out in a looping side arm swing that sank its mirror finished head into the solid ice block of the Elemental's body chopping away another large chunk if its body. Avalanche brought a massive boulder like just back and rocketed it towards its target but Alec easily brought his shield up and angled its surface so the blow glanced off and sailed over his head. Spoiler Roll: 115287 BD: 6 + 2 = 8 (Success) 5 * 5 = 25 DMG MD: 7 - DEAD CD: 9 (+ 1 EN Regenerated) As the gigantic ice creature brought its fist back Alec raised his Shield of the Thunderhearts up before him and pulled his Mithril Battle Axe back as he took a calming breath and summoned the energy to power a Sword Art. Alec felt the energy course through him like a raging river and begin to well up in his mirrored axe causing it to begin to glow. As the power increased the glow became brighter till Alec felt he would explode if he didn't release the dammed up power. Alex let out a war cry and leapt into the air swinging his glowing Battle Axe down at Avalanche's neck and releasing the power as his axe head struck and bit into the Ice Elemental. With a sound like an ice Berg cracking Alec's axe cut into send through Avalanche's neck toppling it to the ground blue pixels spraying into the air as both parts began to waver and contort till both exploded in a heavy shower of new snow like blue pixels. Alec walked over and picked up the vial gently in his fingers. As he inspected the vial he saw it was a vibrant azure colored liquid that had a noticable chill as he held the vial. Alec smiled to himself as a banner appeared in his vision <<Quest Complete>>. Alec took the vial which he saw had an item tag listing it as <<Snowfrost>>. Alec reached and swiped to open his inventory and placed the item inside as he turned to look at his friend and companion Humphrey with a wide grin and said in his deep rumbling baritone. "What do you say we hit one of those two taverns I saw back in Snowfrost for a warm meal and something to drink in celebration?"
