It was a chilly morning. Jun woke up especially early today to go out and do some monster slaying, he wanted to see if he could gain any items and some EXP. He had advanced from the first floor to the second with relative ease, he stayed in an inn for the night and was now ready. "Ok, lets get going, there should be something interesting around here to fight." Jun walked around for half an hour before he encountered something, standing before him was a Wind wasp. It had a black shell and looked just like a large black wasp, it was around 50 centimetres in length, it poised it's stinger at Jun. Jun pulled out his sword at the menacing bug, "I'm going to squash you!"

Jun flung his sword at the wasp, striking it across it's abdomen, leaving a pixelated gash, the wasp buzzed in recoil as it flew back a few feet, it yet again poised its stinger at Jun, it's eyes squinting as it aimed at Jun.

The wasp was thrown back with the force of the attack, it buzzed in an annoyed tone, the wasp flew in at top speed towards the human, preparing it's stinger to strike. The wasps attack missed, going straight past the human. The wasp shook it off and prepared for what was going to happen next.

​Jun laughed as the wasp missed, preparing his sword for the next attack. The sword hit just right and the wasp exploded into pixels, Jun sighed and walked over to where the wasp once hovered.

Jun sighed, he was getting a little sick of this, he just accepted that he had gotten some decent drops from his last set of farming so it didn't faze him that much. Jun moved on to the next clearing of forest where he could hear buzzing, obviously from other wasps. Through the clearing he encountered another wasp, this one was extremely similar to the last one he fought, actually, it was identical.

Jun was confident from the last encounter, he pulled out his sword and charged the wasp, without missing a beat he tripped on a reasonably sized rock, falling face first onto the ground, groaning as he pushed himself up off of the cold grassy floor. The wasp let out an excited buzz as he shot a nasty look at it, "Shut it bug"

The wasp was laughing in it's buzzing tone as the human fell onto the ground. Calming itself down it poised it's stinger, aiming it straight at Jun. The wasp went flying at him, missing as the wasp hit the ground with it's stinger, wincing a little because the ground was pretty rocky, almost snapping it's stinger. The wasp turned around and faced the human, letting a challenging buzz.

Jun realised they both missed and laughed under his breath. "Ok, lets start the show" Jun prepared his sword, striking the wasp just perfectly, critically striking the wasp, leaving a large pixel gash on it's abdomen. "How do you like that?" Jun said, taunting the wasp.

The wasp winced in pain as it was left with a large mark on its abdomen, it was getting low on health so it went in for another attack, this time actually hitting the human, hitting him in the arm, leaving a red puncture wound in his shoulder. The wasp buzzed excitedly as he waited for the next move.

Jun prepped his sword, aiming it right at the wasp. He charged in and struck the wasp square in the head, causing it to explode. A little window popped up.

"Oh well, it's better than nothing." Jun walked around before he encountered a wasp that was, wait for it, exactly identical to the last two that he had fought. Jun charged the wasp, thrusting his sword at it, cutting off several of it's legs. The wasp was thrown off balance for a second, and then it corrected it course, buzzing annoyingly at Jun as it went in for it's own attack. "Let's see if you are better than your friends?"

The wasp started the fight with six legs and he now only had 3. It buzzed in pain before aiming his stinger at Jun, hitting quite close to where the last wasp hit him, this time on the chest, leaving another puncture wound there. The wasp buzzed as he pulled out the stinger.

Jun grasped the hole that was left where the stinger entered, remembering he can't feel pain in this world, it was just a basic motor reflex. He gripped his sword tighter and went in, attacking the wasp, there wasn't much space to his on the was so he left a scar on the wasps abdomen, much like the last few wasps.

The wasp was nearing defeat, in a last ditch effort to help future combatants of this human, it prepared one last attack, charging in it scratched the human with it's stinger, leaving two puncture holes and a large scratch on his body. The wasp let out an exhausted buzz.

Jun wasn't losing to much health, he wasn't that worried of losing. Jun charged in, slicing the wasp's head off, leaving it to explode into pixels. He sighed and took out a piece of bread, scoffing it down as the health returned to him. Walking over to the empty place where the wasp once was, a window popped up.

Jun swung at the wasp, hitting it's head and sending it flying back several feet and letting out a high pitch painful buzz. Jun let out a little fist pump as he realised he had gotten a critical, the wasp was obviously not as enthusiastic about being hit. Preparing it's stinger for a lethal injection, Jun didn't mind he was still on full health.

The wasp had just been minding its own business doing wasp-esq things, when some randy came along and disturbed it. The wasp was pissed when he found a sword dug into his forehead. His many eyes filled with rage as he prepared his stinger for an attack, he went flying in, digging his stinger into his chest. The wasp let out a celebratory buzz as the attack was a critical.

Jun stepped back at the force of the impact, he put his hand up to the wound, inspecting it, it wasn't too major, nothing a little bread couldn't fix. He prepped his sword for the next attack, wondering if all he was going to face today was bugs, Jun let out a little sigh as this was all that was pretty much in this forest, much like the boars on floor one. He charged the bug, swinging his sword as he cut straight across it's abdomen, it was a critical strike.

The wasp was pretty injured, it let out a little buzz as the sword sliced it's version of a chest. The wasp went in for a last ditch effort to attack the human, doing no damage at all because it missed, in it's state it over judged the distance and veered off to the right slamming right into the rocky ground.

Jun sighed and ate another piece of bread, the holes closed on his body as his health returned. Jun continued to walk through the forest for a while, it seemed as though the buzzing had stopped as the wasps fled the area in fear of what will happen to them. It was a long while before Jun saw anything living around him so he sat down and waited for fate to deliver something to him. As luck would have it a large beetle popped out of the forest. "Is this floor only populated by bugs?" Jun sighed, he then stood up and unsheathed his sword.

Red-Spotted Beetle

​Jun charged at the beetle, sticking the largest part of the beetle, its back, leaving a large red gash on it's back, it seemed pretty deep, it was a critical hit. Jun let out a little cry of excitement as he prepared for the beetles oncoming attack. The beetle was about the size of the wasps that he had fought, except it was a lot broader than them, it was about 60-70cm in length.

Red-Spotted Beetle

​The beetle had noticed all the wasps go missing so he decided this would be an opportune time to go scavenge for some food. What he found however was not food, but the cause of all the missing wasps. Being quite startled the beetle didn't know what to do so he just stood there in shock. The human struck the beetle with his sword, causing him to loose a considerable amount of health and a large red mark on his back. The beetle prepared his horns, charging at the human, striking him right in the chest with his horns, sending him flying back into one of the trees.
