  1. Okay, either someone is either screwing up the system or I just have horrendous luck. Yet another dodge by the boar. Honestly, this is getting to the point where this is annoying, so much so that I really want to kill that mob with my hands now.

Result: Fail; rolled a 4, boar dodged

    Boar: 4/5

  2. Well shoot, I thought to myself. I had attacked the boar with a quick thrust, but I had overestimated my ability and luck; it had dodged it fairly easily. A pout appeared on my face again when the monster had dodged whilst I tried to hit it once more.

Result: Fail; rolled a 3, Boar dodged.

    Boar: 4/5

  3. I prepared my weapon again, and then attacked the mob. I had managed to land a clean cut onto the monster, causing it to screech in pain like how the previous one did. Despite not being much, I had managed to deal a point of damage, which was good enough for me.

Result: Successful; rolled a 7, deals 1 damage.

    Boar: 4/5

  4. I was on a roll, as I attacked the boar again, not giving it anytime to rest. This time, I got another critical, causing the mob to yelp in pain, before disappearing into a thousand shards of blue and green. I smirked, 1 down, 4 more to go.

Result: Successful; rolled a 9, caused 2 damage. Killed mob.

    Boar: 0/5 [Dead]

    Received: 1x Boar Meat

  5. I took a sharp turn right after the boar dodge, this time faster the previous time, as the boar failed to dodge. I thrusted my rapier into the mob, giving a critical hit to the monster. The mob screamed in pain before staggering away, the piercing cut coloured in red and white lines could be seen clearly on the stabbed area.

    Result; Successful; rolled a 9; 2 damage.

    Boar: 3/5

  6. Another second passed once more, before I activated my <> skill and dashed at the boar, closing the gap. I held back my blade and then thrusted at the mob. Despite being caught by surprise, the boar manage to get out of harm's way, barely dodging. I frowned as it avoided the hit, as I prepared to turn around and attack it again.

    Result: Fail; Boar dodges.

    Boar: 5/5

  7. I pouted at the swarm of boars in front of me. At the very least they couldn't be aggro, unless you decided to fight the hordes of boars instead. I took in a deep breath before unsheathing my newly-made blade. The black metal of the blade glistened in the sunlight, as with the elaborate red handle of the rapier. With a quick prep to get myself use to the sword, and I swinged it gently around to test my control, then nodding to myself in approval.

I changed into my stance, my right arm holding my sword as I eyed a single boar carefully, preparing to attack.

    Battle Dice:

    1-5 [boar dodges the attack.]

6-8 [boar gets hit by the attack and Katharine gives a clean hit]

9 [boar gets hit and Katharine gets a critical, piercing through a weak spot of the boar's body. Deals 2 damage]

10 [boar gets hit and Katharine gets a critical, piercing through a weak spot of the boar's body. Deals 3 damage]

    Mob:

    Boar: 5/5

  8. "Next on the list is..." I held up the piece of paper, my eyes soon widening later. "I need to go fight boars and collect items in the grassfield?.." I murmured questionably to myself, unsure if what I was seeing on the sheet of paper was correct. "Well then, better go off now." I stored the paper back into my inventory and headed to the grassfield to get the rest of the ingredients.

    Quest

    Floor 1- Getting Ingredients

    • Get 5x Boar Meat

    • Get 5x Lemon Grass

    Accept? Yes/No

    [Yes was accepted.]

  9. "Hey- Woah! Sakuri, what are you-" I was lifted up and placed on his back, causing me to piggyback ride him. A light blush dusted his cheeks, but he couldn't be blamed as he was in this sort of position with a girl. I was slightly embarrassed by what had just happened and just hoped that no one had saw that.

Then he climbed the tower. "Oh my god, Sakuri! What the hell are you doing?" I screeched, my voice becoming unusually high as he moved again, I shutting my orbs instantaneously in reflex. "Make sure you hold tight." He said, the first thought that came to me with that sentence was, 'Of course I'm going the hold on tight! If I don't I might die!' But my train of thought was cut short when a jerkish move was felt, causing me to yelp.

'What the-?!' He had suddenly stopped, causing me to realise how far off we were from the ground. At this point, if we fell, we could die. I would have flailed around and screamed had it not been for the fact that if I did, it might cause only more trouble. Sakuri finally spoke up afterwards, "Could you please remove the hair from my eyes? So we don't die and all, also you're doing great considering you're afraid of all this." He told me sheepishly.

'Damn right I'm afraid!' But being the respectful person I am, I kept that thought to myself. I released my left arm from the his shoulders and complied with a pinch of hesitation. It took me a second before I brushed the hair gently from his face, now hoping that he would continue on safety.

  10. Alright, I'm going to answer this one by one.

    1.

    What would you make?

Well, the vague answer is food. But this depends on what sort of shop the player is opening and specializes in; it can be a bar, a diner, cafe, etc.

    2.

What will they be used for?

Basic fulfillment of hunger and occasional buff.

    3.

What will making better rarity do?

The higher the rarity could make the food taste better, longer hunger fulfillment, more powerful and more buffs in one food item.

    4.

Where do you get or what do you have to do to get materials?

Now this is slightly more difficult, I think either by fighting certain mobs to get drops or find mats through searching areas. There's also the option of going to market places and buying the ingredients yourself; but that requires some sort of price list.

    5.

Is this an alternative to potion making or does it do something different?

Like what I answered for 2, no. It is not, unlike potions that give a buff of sort like healing, poison resistance, etc. Food is more of an energy supplement; without it, it can cause the player to nauseous, tired and feel dizzy and faint.

    6.

What kind of quest would a person undertake to learn it?

I assume like any other profession, the earning a living quest.

Edit; forget to add this. Restaurants are sort of a socialising place for others and can be used as a starter for roleplay threads, or just to converse with others. Can be eaten in the store or packaged away.

  11. it hasn't been discussed yet but the staff would love to hear any suggestions on how the players would like it to work.

Well, you could possibly make it sort-of similar to the normal crafting method, just you can do it a larger amount of times and the chances of failing is lower.

  12. His cheeks were oddly dusted in red, I went with the normal assumption that he was indeed blushing. I could tell he was quite appreciative of the comments I gave him, as his aura seemed to have a more warm-sort of feel to it. He payed the NPC for the clothing and then dragged me out of the store, his gripped noticeably gentle. When we arrived at a tower, he extended his hand out and asked for my name.

"Ah sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. Nice to meet you Sakuri, I'm Katharine." I replied, noting that he was looking at the tower with interest. He sent me a party request, catching me by surprise. Its been quite awhile since I've joined one, I've been going solo for the past few months these days, so it was a nice change. I pressed the 'o' button, accepting his request and saw another health bar pop up under mine.

  13. I looked at him with sparkly eyes, a expression of contemplation readable across my expressful face. "Dang, you look awesome. Like one of those dudes from those fancy agent movies. You'll get all the ladies, no doubt." I told him, in my all honest opinion. But really, he looked hella fabulous~ in that tuxedo, I could tell that some of the players passing by were looking at him in awe before walking slowly away.

  14. "Heh, there indeed is. But just make sure to get clothing that is comfortable and light, don't what your attire to slow you down afterall." I told him as I grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him towards a fairly-popular NPC Tailor store, a lady at the counter.

The woman looked up as she heard the chime on us entering the store, greeting us with a mechanic smile that all NPC's tended to have. "Hello, how may I help you?" She asks, in which I reply, "This guy needs a formal tuxedo, vest please. Do you have that?" She nodded as a menu hub pops up in my inventory, showing a list of clothing the store had to offer. She walked over and grabbed the apparel and handed it over to the male; the costume was identical to how he had said it, long-sleeved shirt, vest, pants, everything. Good store, honestly.
