Now, I saw that someone has moved up to the 2nd floor, and my jimmies have been rustled a bit. I think that Boss Battles should be a board wide event that should use the PVP battle system rather than something that can be done in a private rp.

Something like [EVENT] FLOOR ONE BOSS BATTLE- KOBOLD KING [*] where the * is the level that the boss is set at. This makes it a bit more organized.

Haven't found any game that is SAO like, but Vindictus (Or Mabinogi Heroes for those in Asia) is something that I play now and then with a friend.

I really shouldn't get involved with this but... Jeeze, these people are annoying. Going around and making pretend "Guilds" without even being able to... Raiu let out something that was in between a groan and a sigh as he stepped out of the brush after the Orange player, likely a newbie, ran passed. He had his spear drawn and placed casually on his shoulder. "Oi. Annoying idiots number one through four. Yeah you." Alright. That sounded hard enough. "I don't think you understand how to properly harm someone. Let me show you."

A quick three taps of the menu sent a duel request to the first of the four, the duel mode set to , or until death. He intended it as more of a threat than an actual challenge, though. Hopefully the thugs would be scared enough give up right away without accepting the request.

Raiu stopped in his tracks when Shark asked his question and he looked at the two. He sounded sad, or that he was attempting to seem sad. "That question can be a bit dangerous, Shark. Some of the users may have abandoned their usernames..." He sighed, forcing a smile on this face. "You know what, I have a different question. What is your favorite thing to do? For me, the category is split between programing, no where near the programing in this game, and writing. I don't have any samples on me right now, but I'm sure I'll come up with more later on."

"Well, the disadvantage of names, if you'll accept a strange phrase. That disadvantage is now done with, however." He broke eye contact with the rabbit. Next time I will win, rabbit. "Anyway," Raiu started, opening the menu for a moment, "We still have a few hours until dark, if the time system is similar to..." He swallowed before saying the last word, composing himself. "To the outside...Well! There is certainly no time to waste then. Lead the way Great White Shark." He played up the moment with a dramatic flourish of his spear, forcing himself back into his own delusion.

"Thanks for having me, you two. And beta tester, I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. Could you give me your name?" Raiu's eyes met with the rabbit and he stared back, a small battle of wills taking place. "Interesting rabbit you have."

Raiu frowned when he noticed Lillian. "Am... Am I really that scary?" He slumped a little, playing up the emotion. "That honestly hurts a bit." He straightened himself, shaking his head. "No matter though. Really, I was only wondering if I could party up with the two of you for a time. Hunting is a bit easier in a pack, as they say."

"Ah, that's good, really good!" The man smiled before he paused, hearing the questions directed at him. The pause stretched on for a moment before the man hit his forehead with his palm. "I thought I was forgetting something! Sorry, about that." He chuckled, softly laughing at his mistake. "My username is Raiu, pleasure to meet both of you.

"And the reason why I asked you if you were a beta tester, is this. You know some of the secrets on the first few floors, right?"

Yep, this is it people. The purpose of this thread is to put down your favorite songs from SAO, be it official songs, to covers, to just about anything else. I'll start this off with a metal version of Crossing Fields.

"You seem rather knowledgeable about the game." A voice came from nearby as a man dressed in green, a rather fancy hat, and carrying a lance that was little more than a stick with a small metal point, stepped from the nearby brush. His features seemed a bit different from everyone else's appearance. Seems he hasn't used the mirror yet, for whatever reason.

"Were you a beta tester, or did you just look up a little about the game before all this?" His voice didn't hold any hate, just curiosity. Perhaps the reality of their predicament just hasn't sunk in completely yet.

» About: There are a number of reasons for a person to be involved in games like SAO. The reason why Griffin (or rather Raiu, as he prefers to be called) was involved was because he was a gamer. He enjoyed the challenges that games had to offer, as well as the social aspects, which provides momentum to help overcome his social inertia. Though, it seems that he had bitten off quite more than he can chew with SAO.

» Virtues:

Humility. Raiu is by no means an arrogant person. He doesn't seek fame or glory, but a good life without having to cause undue harm to others. This humility that he possesses allows him to think more clearly on the merits of another's plan.

Loyalty. There is very little to dissuade Raiu from helping his friends, regardless if the matter is large or small. He trusts those that he can rely on, once they have earned his trust.

Fortitude. Raiu can weather many things: Insults and blows alike. Very few things seem to get past the emotional armor he has, though never the smallest nick can fester.

Aimless. Humility can be a determent in excessive quantities. Raiu is often without his own direction, needing the help of others if the path is not clear.

Callous. Though Raiu pretends to show emotion, the act is just that, an act. He doesn't feel very much for others, his emotions numbed by life. When his emotions do reach a boiling point, however, then it comes in a rush.

Lazy. A part of his lack of direction, Raiu is prone to simply lounge about if nothing interests him, letting his mind idle and body rest. This can go on for quite some time if his interest is not found.
