Kevin, a regular boy with an affection for video games, has spent his entire life without any real goal.
Seeing himself as too clever for the level of school he is in currently school but never preforming on the level he is capable of has halted his life to an extent and sadly led him to live a lazy lifestyle.
He spends all his free time either on his computer researching scientific studies which interests him or playing video games with his friends, many of which he has met online.
One day, Kevin sees a new hardware being released that allows players to play game sin a Virtual Reality, called The Nervegear. He immidietly orders one with the game "Sword Art Online" that has gotten great reviews and seems to be right up his alley.
When the hardware and game arrived, Kevin spent no time waiting but configurated the device directly when he unboxed it and loaded up SAO.
With his whole body shaking in anticipation as this is the gaming experience he has longed for his entire life, Kevin closed his eyes and said, with a smile, "LINK START"
