  1. Daniel listened before nodding slowly. "A-ah...i'm sorry for judging for you because of your status, miss Mari..." He said quietly, looking down. wishing he hadn't shown how much it bothered him. " I'll think about my profession though, i promise." he smiled a little in a attempt to lighten the mood. "I'll get back to work then, if it's okay."  He bowed a little before turning back round, going to pick the small patch of herbs he had seen earlier. He knelt down, once again hiding his face.

    Loot Roll: 18 (Success)

This time he managed to gather some of the resources, picking a good amount and adding them to his inventory. He stood up, waving at the other members of the guild. "I got something!" He called, smiling.

    +1 Alchemy Material

  2. Daniel hesitated for a second before taking her hand and shaking , deciding he would ignore it for now."Y-yes, I'm Nihilus." he said said, turning his head slightly in a subconscious attempt to hide his face."u-um, i didn't really have anything in mind yet..." He was a little scared after the trouble he'd had with PKers before, but he tried not to let it show, only appearing as awkward as he normally did. "I'll just gather what I can for the guild then..." He trailed off before kneeling down to be level with the shrub.

    Loot Roll: 14 (Failure)

He tried his best to gather some of the strawberries, but he was too distracted, too focused on his own thoughts. What should he say? He didn't know how to adress his new guild leader. After he acidentally crushed the last few remaining strawberries he stood up, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm not having much luck with this, I'll see what else I can find." Smiling awkwardly, he began to search the nearby ground for any herbs or other materials he could find.

  3. Daniel sighed to himself as he walked to the forest the guild were to meet at. He was nervous about meeting the other members of the guild, not sure how he should introduce himself to them. he wasn't used to talking to other people and he was worried he would make a fool of himself. Seeing he was  now coming up on the forest he stopped and took a moment to compose himself before continuing. He walked to the entrance before stopping, looking around for another person. He saw the pink-clad person in front of him and walked towards her, beginning to speak. Excuse me, are you Miss-" He tripped on his words when he saw her PKer status, before continuing. "Miss Mari?"

  4. Daniel  sheathed his scimitar with a smile, looking over at Arekkusu. "that was easier than i thought it'd be." he said, looking around briefly to check for any more wolves before looking back at him. "I think that's more because you were here though. You okay? I saw you get hit a few times." He frowned a bit then, unable to understand why anyone wouldn't be as cautious as they could in a game like this.

((OOC: I need to go, i'll be able to pick it up tomorrow))

  5. Daniel nodded, freezing as he was pushed by the other player before shaking it off,  running forward and raising his sword once again.

    • Rolled a 8 on the d10 (battle) dice. (Base + 1H. Curved Swords = 2)
    • Rolled a 7 on the d10 (mob) dice.

Unfortunately the Lone remaining wolf was ready for him, and as he advanced  the wolf pounced, opening it's fanged mouth wide to bite the suprised player. Daniel lowered his blade to meet the wolf in panic, slashing wildly and scoring a hit on the beast's stomach before it hit him, the force of the pounce knocking him to the ground and making him drop his scimitar. He curled  his hand into a fist and attempted to punch the wolf off him, but the angry beast simply bit down on his hand. Cursing suprisingly loudly, Daniel  pushed the animal off him, wrenching his hand away, snatching up his blade and standing up. "Your turn to finish him off!" He said, retreating a reasonable distance away.

  6. Daniel watched the stronger player fight, trying to memorize some of his technique, while keeping an eye on the other wolf in case it attacked. He couldn't help but be impressed by his style, even if he was a little worried that he was letting himself be hit. When he saw the wolf was heavily injured he raised his scimitar once again, swinging it once to give Arekkusu some time to move away before he rushed forwards.

    • Rolled a 7 on the d10 (battle) dice. (Base + 1H. Curved Swords = 2)

Raising his scimitar as he moved, he brought it down hard on the injured wolf, which had not yet recovered from the ealier hit. The sharp blade cut deep into the wolf, and it shattered just like the one before it, the tiny shards scattering in the wind. He smiled at Arekkusu, bringing his scimitar back to his side. "One more to go." He said, more obviously confident now.

  7. Daniel nodded in response to the other player's words, taking a second to collect himself before charging forward towards the beast, raising his blade once again.

    • Rolled a 10 on the d10 (battle) dice. (Base + 1H. Curved Swords + Critical = 4)

Daniel was soon in front of the wolf, and before it could react he slashed diagonally with his scimitar, slicing straight through the wolf's head and killing it. As it shattered he turned around to face the other two wolves, grinning a little now as he raised his scimitar. Part of him was suprised he even managed to land a hit, but the rest of him felt proud, and most importantly, strong.

  8. Daniel nodded, unsheathing his scimitar and running forward, raising it to slice downwards at the fallen wolf.

    • Rolled a 3 on the d10 (battle) dice.

Just before the blade fell the wolf managed to right itself and move out of the way, growling as if in pain, the angry red glow of the wound standing out against the beast's fur. Unfortunately Nihilus was unable to adjust and the scimitar sliced through empty air before hitting the ground. "Crap." Nihilus muttered to himself, pulling the blade free of the dirt and turning to face the injured wolf once again.

Realising he was wasting time by stopping to think, Daniel sprinted forwards, bringing his scimitar down hard on the boar's neck before it had fully recovered from its charge. There was a loud cutting noise as the blade passed through the boar's neck like a knife through butter, causing the large head to fall away from the body, leaving only a bright red glow where in the real world there would be flesh and blood.

    Frenzy Boar (-1/5)

    • Rolled a 2 on the d20 (loot) dice.

Daniel stepped back from the corpse and watched as shattered into so many brilliant blue shards, leaving behind nothing. As he sheathed his scimitar he waited for a window to pop in front of him announcing his reward, but none came. Maybe he had just been unlucky. Frowning to himself, he looked around, waiting for another of the boars to spawn and hopefully provide him with some loot.

    • Rolled a 2 on the d10 (mob) dice.

The Boar charged forward, but Daniel was able to dodge to the side just before the angry monster could make contact with him. He quickly regained his footing and turned to face the overgrown pig, swinging his sword in preparation for another attack as he silently marvelled at the fact he had actually dodged the charge.

  9. Daniel readied himself, crouching slightly before charging forward, his sword raised to attack.

    • Rolled a 7 on the d10 (battle) dice. Damage: 1 from Scimitar, 1 From 1-Handed Curved Swords

As Daniel soared past the boar, he felt the scimitar slice cleanly through the the angry beast, no doubt shaving some health off the boars total. He came to a stop and turned around to see the boar at 3/5 health, snorting angrily and turning around before lowering its head as if to charge. Daniel frowned, not sure if he could survive even a single attack.

    Frenzy Boar (3/5)

  10. As he looked around he spotted a <<Frenzy Boar>> idly grazing a few metres away, snuffling at the grassy ground. The boar was a bulky thing, with dark blue fur, glowing red eyes and sharp tusks, coming up to just below his waist. As Daniel targeted it the beast raised its head, snorting loudly as it began to paw at the ground, slightly agitated by the attention.

  11. Daniel took a moment to look around the exit gates of the Starting City, before sprinting out when he saw the path was clear. It had been a few days since he had posted that disastrous message on the notice boards, and while he hoped that no PKers were still watching the area, he wasn't going to take any chances.

When he posted that message he'd only been looking for someone to teach him how to play, and maybe help him get to the next area. But he hadn't realised there so many PKers about, enough to threaten even the starting city.

Shrugging off his darkening thoughts, Daniel strolled through the gates, trying to look confident. He was pretty sure that walking like a higher level player might scare off any who would wish him harm, even if his gear didn't exactly look like the kind of thing a Clearer would wear.

After he was a decent distance away from the gates he began walking normally, looking around for any nearby mobs. He had picked up the basics of combat now, and he was pretty sure he could handle a Boar or something similarly weak on his own.

  12. ((OOC:Got It))

Daniel nodded a little distractedly at the stronger player's words, looking behind them. He hadn't seen Tyrius come through, and he had yet to come out. "Where is he?" He asked, some of the nervousness returning to his voice. "W-what if someone got him?" He muttered, looking down. He couldn't handle the thought of another player dying because of his stupid mistake. He turned to Arekkusu and said quietly, "What do you think happened to him?"

  13. Daniel took a breath before following Arekkusu through. He was nervous to be going to the second floor, especially when he had barely touched the first floor, but in the short time he'd known the two players with him he'd grown to trust them. After all, if they were PKers they would have had the perfect chance to kill him earlier. So he followed the higher level player, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath as he stepped through to the second floor.

  14. "I...I think as long as I have support, I can handle it." Daniel said, finishing the apple. "Please try and keep me alive, though." He smiled a little, turning so that he was facing both of them , his face uncovered ((OOC: we can pick up tomorrow then, i needed to go soon too))
