Aubrey

Aubrey could feel her body slowly begin to return to normal. The effects must not last a long time. She groaned as she was dragged by Mari. One good thing about being paralysed was that she couldn't feel the tug on her hair - so it didn't really hurt. Aubrey was forced up against at tree trunk, and at that moment. That moment was the first time she ever felt true fear. Looking into those eyes of the pink haired girl. Aubrey did notice she was a PKer but she never made bad judgements. Aubrey wanted to see the good in everyone.

Her pupils dialated as she gave a startling, ear shattering scream - so loud. right in front of Mari's face. "PLEASE DONT KILL MEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

When MARI POISONED ME!

Aubrey clasped her hands together, her own blue eyes shining brightly! This pink haired girl was only pretending to be cold and cruel. Aubrey knew that deep down, deep deep down in her heart of hearts she was just lonely, and hurt. Lonely and hurt people always lashed out at others because they were afraid of hurting others, and afraid of being hurt themselves. “That sounds wonderful to me miss pinky!†Aubrey cried out happily as she grabbed the water.

To her it was just a normal bottle of water, it looked normal and when she opened it – it didn’t smell like anything. Even as she took the bottle to her lips and guzzled half of it. It was all normal.

Then, she felt it; her body felt tingly “W-whaa…†Aubrey collapsed to the floor. “What..?†She trid to speak.

Aubrey pouted when the pink haired girl spat on the floor.  “heeey!†She cried when the other girl began to walk away. “You just sound like you need some cheering up! Abii-chii style!†She cried out happily. “Would you like me to sing you a pretty song!†Aubrey cleared her throat, getting ready to sing as she continued to follow Mari.

Aubrey fell back, she flailed her arms to try and steady herself “whoa whao whaaaaaâ€! She fell flat on her butt with a ‘omf!’ She shook her head and straightened her glasses with a small pout. “Aww that wasn’t every nice!†She said in a pouty voice.  â€œI just wanted to touch your hair! It looks so pretty, mmm!†Aubrey licked her lips. “Just like candy floss!†

Aubrey bounced down the path out of the starting town. “Pon Pon Wei wei wei! Wei Wei Pon Wei Wei Pon Pon!† She was happy, and so she sang a very happy tune. Aubrey decided that today was the day she’d fight things in the forest! She had a shiny new axe and was ready to go but she saw someone sleeping or who looked like they were sleeping. “oiiiii~†She called out happily as she bounced over to the pink haired girl. “I Love love LOooove your hair!†Aubrey happily cried as she reached out to feel the pink womans hair.
 

Aubrey bounced back in, with a 'SLAM' she opened the door to the forge, she dusted off her hands as she placed them firmly on her hips. "I'm Baaack~" She exclaimed in a sing-song voice before happily skipping toward the front counter. She leaned on it with her elbows, placing her chin firmly in her hands. "So cutie-pie, I hear you got my big' ol' weapon for me?"

Lol Ok Mr Level 5 going into a giant pit full of monsters. Have fun not dying!

That sounds too boring and angsty for Aubrey. Fufufufu.

Aubrey gave the man a small nod, Lilac pigtails bouncing with the action. She was all too well understanding how annoying and time consuming collecting materials was, she only had a few herself, and it was about time she went and collected some more. She had a shop of her own to start after all!. "Oki-Doki-Loki! I hope to hear from you soon though." She clasped her hand over her heart. Speaking in a wispy, forlorn voice. "For Abii-chii is relying on you - oh brave blacksmith!" She gave him a wink followed by a curtsey. As she turned to leave his store. "Baii-bbii!"

Aubrey grinned, holding out a single finger. "Bzz, bzz. I only want the one item!" She gave him a wink followed by another cheeky smile. "A black Two-Handed Battle Axe. With a cute heart motif on the blade! I have 1000 Col and 5 Materials. But I assume one widdle item won't cost every thing I have no?"

Aubrey asked, waiting for a response from the very shocked looking man.

"hmmm~?" Aubrey turned her head over her shoulder - Lilac hair tickling her bare shoulder. "What is?" She asked, again misusing grammar. A common issue she would face. It seemed that there was a young, blonde boy - who was polite, and asking for her help. Aubrey beamed, smiling at him with her entire being. Emerald eyes glistening with a boastful energy. However, before she could even say yes to his qestion....

He ran.

Aubrey blinked in surprise. He literally ran, bolting in the other direction. "What the?" She questioned. Why run away from her. Aubrey frowned as she fluffed up her skirt. "I don't...look scary do I?" She questioned, she placed her hands on her cheeks, smooshing them together. "Ah! I can't be scawee can I!"

 

(considering this is now two pages without anyone waiting for me, and there is a lot of one-liners I am just going to leave this thread)

Aubrey nodded, placing her hands on her hips. Giving London a small smirk as she quirked a single brow. "Yes, I have, actually. Not much granted. But I can confidently say I know how the system works." She gestured toward Solis. "Unlike Soli-chii here who seems to have this confused with another game." She turned her eyes toward Solis. "There is no father to this game." She twirled her hands around as she stuck out her tongue at him, making her eyes go cross eyed.

"Solii-chiii is loco in the coco! There are NO moves or skills like that." Aubrey tapped the guide again, "Seriously. Read. It. Now." She added in a slightly stern voice. He was now making up skills and things, that just never existed. Ever.

Aubrey knew she was annoying, with her speech mannerisms, and how she often mispronounce words due to Japanese not being her first language. However SOlis was on a whole new level. She covered her ears as he began whining after the two exchanged pleasantries.

"Ugghh!" She took a few steps back. "You cannot have a shield if you use a two handed weapon. I cannot have a shield either, because I have a two handed battle axe." Aubrey  showed London, Solis and the new girl the palms of her hands. "See if both of them is holding the weapon - what would hold the shield." She shook her head with a sigh.

"Abii-chii needs to leave! You are too much! Too much!" She muttered with a pout, wagging a finger at Solis she scolded him. "Read the guides and tutorials in that there book Mr Soli-chii!" She gave a small bow and a wave as she turned to leave everyone.

"Baii-biii!"

The song finished, and Aubrey took a bow. There was a small crowd there now. Who seemed to enjoy her song, some calling for an encore, but Aubrey wasn't sure if she should do such a thing right now. She clasped her hands together, giving the crowd a small wink, sticking her tongue out in a child-like manner

"Now, now! Abii-chii will perform for you again one day!" She said excitedly. "For I, am a performer! I shall record songs and spread them throughout Aincrad!" Aubrey declared happily. Knowing she found her calling, and thankful, oh so very thankful that she had managed to be a Performer in this virtual world.

She jumped back when she noticed a small husky leap into her arms. She gave it a squeeze, cooing. "Aww aren't YOU the cutest!" She said as she kissed it's nose. "Did you hear! I am going to be the best idol in all of Aincrad!" Aubrey nuzzled the dog with her nose before setting it back down, watching it run to another player. She gave him a friendly wave and a wink.

Turning on her heel, happy and satisfied that this, would be her profession. She waved goodbye and headed to a small shop; a chime went off as she entered and the NPC recognized her face.

"Ahh, dearie, so - is a Performer for you?"

Aubrey nodded, giving the NPC a thumbs up, "You betcha! I was BORN to part this play!" She exclaimed happily. 

"Then that Sphere of symphony is yours, use it well dearie. Use it well." Aubrey nodded, giving a small curtsey toward the NPC. "Thankyou indeedy!" She cried out. "I am off to be the bees knees! Tata!"


 

Aubrey grinned, giving his hand a warm shake. "I will continue to call you Soli-chii!" Solis didn't waste any time, he delved straight into asking questions. Ones that Aubrey didn't exactly understand, it was like he was speaking the language of another game. "Hmmm hmmmm" She thought aloud, pursing her glossed lips in a small pout. "Glowy weapon...you mean a Perfect Qaulity weapon right? Well I guess you go to a blacksmith, and get them to craft you one. Oooh but I hear they are expensive!" Aubrey said.

"This system, with SAO is a completely new system! SAO is the first game on it silly!" Aubrey said with a laugh. "So of course it won't remember any data. That's just silly."

Aubrey gave Solis a smile. She was never one to stay made long or hold grudges. "That's better Soli-chi!" She said with a smile. "I have a small following back in Japanese too! My friends and I have a Jpop group called Kickstart!" She said, again mispronouncing words. Accidentally saying 'Japanese' rather than 'Japan' due to her language barrier. "I like fans, and I like making people happy! That's why I want to become an Idol!" She beamed. 

Aubrey wasn't sure what he meant by blank slate, she assumed he meant he wanted to start over - so that is exaclty what Aubrey was going to do. She stuck out her hand for him to shake. "Oki doki! Hello there! My name is Aubrey, but you can call me Abii-chi!"

Aubrey huffed, not liking the mans outburst, or how he called her fans creepy stalkers. She turned her head over her shoulder and looked at them. They looked shocked. One looked like they were about to cry. "That's pretty mean Soli-chi." Aubrey said, turning her green eyes back toward the youth. "If Abi-chii didnt' know better I'd think you were the one jealous." She said, mispronouncing the grammar. Aubrey gave the group who was following her a small wave as they sheepishly left, muttering amongst themselves.

Aubrey felt bad to see them go, they were clearly hurt and upset by what Solis had said, it wasn't just what he had said - but the tone he had said it in. "I don't think I like the way you talk to peple." Aubrey said. "You were really mean Soli-chi."

Aubrey sighed, pressing her forehead into the wooden table. Making an array of odd noises as she pushed her fingers into her hair, ruffling it. This man was being an a** and all Aubrey wanted to do was help.

"E-excuse me."

"Mmm?" Aubrey looked up to see a trio of people, two male and a female. All who seemed to be just a few years younger than her. the middle, the tallest of the men seemed excited. "It is! It's Abi-chii! Abi-chii! We heard you singing to that guy!" The other, the smallest of the men, who had black hair down to his shoulders quickly interrupted. "Isheyourboyfriend?" He asked a little too quickly. Aubrey struggled to understand him.

"Friend? Uhm no! he's not!" Aubrey frowned, giving a huff as she crossed her arms over her chest. "He is just being a meanie beanie!" Aubrey got up and out of her chair with a start. Slapping her open palm on the table. "Don't worrry!" She exclaimed. "Abi-chii will ensure that his frowns turn into smiles!"

She thanked the three, before turning on her heel to leave the tavern, the three however followed her. The girl, seeming to have a pen and paper. "wait, wait wait!" Aubrey turned to have a pen shoved into her face. "p-p-please sign this?"

Aubrey picked up the pen, and signed it. Handing it back to the girl who thanked her and skittered off. "Oh geez." Aubrey said, as she shook the two mens hands as they too ran off. "She won't have that in the outside world." Aubrey said with a pout. She waved after them, shouting. "Come find me when we get outta here! Aubrey will Sign again for you!" She cried out, it was clear Japanese wasn't her primary language, with her grammatical errors, and British accent. 
 

The lilac haired pop-idol smiled warmly at the strange,sad man as his aquamarine eyes looked up at her. However, he did not receive her intrusion as well as she had hoped. His brows quirked with annoyance as he got up and went as far as to almost push her aside as he passed her. Ah! But Aubrey wasn't going down that easily. Aubrey didn't stop singing even when he rudely walked away, she simply followed, singing well into the chorus as they both stepped down the stairs.

As they entered into the main streets, a few people seemed to recognize the still singing lilac  haired girl, one even shouting out 'Go, Go Abi-chii!' and another shouting an insult at the black haired man for ignoring her. Calling him a rude, well, lets just say its something one would not say in pleasant company.

Aubrey happily jumped, dancing her way into the inn as the music died down. he sat down at a table alone and Aubrey sat down at a table opposite him. Pouting as she stared at him. "buuuu!"
 

Aubrey was happily humming, her skirt swishing back and forth, sitting a few good inches above her knee. She wore knee high boots and her lilac hair bounced with her. Aubrey was in a good mood. Why? She had fans people had actually sought her out, hearing about her few performances amidst the streets of the starting town. She had decided to travel the back streets today. There was one fan in particular, who had been following her a little too much. 

She noticed someone, looking really sad sitting on a bench. Luckily, a more advanced player taught her how to use recording crystals, Aubrey had uploaded all the instrumentals to all her favourite idol songs to the gaming system before starting. So she could listen to it in the background whilst playing. An older user taught her that if she used recording crystals she could sing along to it. Aubrey smiled happily. Bringing out one of them; she would surprise this sad person with a happy song!

Aubrey may not speak Japanese all too well, but she sure could sing!

At this point she already had her microphone, which the sphere of symphony transformed into - she jumped out at the lonely boy! Pointing toward him

(Lets sing and have a blast!)

She gave a small jump and beat her chest in time to the music before swaying side to side. This man would have a once-in-a-life-time performance just for him!

Aubrey shook her head, wondering how someone so clueless could have survived all this time. "Mmm, no no Soli-chii~" She said in a sing song voice. "It also contains information on mobs, battles, skill points and basic quests, and their locations. Even if you are super dooper strong, and are a front liner. I think you should always keep it!" She exclaimed, giving a twirl with her hands back over her heart. "Ahh, a memento of the days of old. How bittersweet!" She sighed happily. 

"Eehhhh?" Aubrey asked, turning on her heel to notice that there was a crowd behind her, murmuring. Aubrey blinked. She had never thought about it, people following her, did that mean...Did that mean..."Yosh!" Aubrey shouted happily, turning to address the crowd. "Abii-chii is here for you all! Let's continue to spread love and music to all!" She shouted gleefully.

One of the others, a younger male came up to her, looking embarrassed. "A-A..Abi-chi, c-can I shake your hand?"

Aubrey smiled, clasping his hand in her own, "Of course! What a pleasure to meet you! Thankies! Thank you, thank you  so much ne~!" Aubrey let go of the youth and he thanked her before running back off to disappear in the crowds. Aubrey smiled, turning back to Solis.

"It's not creepy Soli-chii! People are showing their true feelings ne~? They are what you say...support me yes?"  
 

Aubrey frowned when the other complained about books. He threw the guide away, and Aubrey followed, kneeling down to pick it up off the ground she dusted it off. Her being serious was rare, and this was one of those rare times. "Don't do that." She mumbled quietly, straightening the book out. Aubrey gave Solis a smile, the happy tone returning to her voice again as she placed the book back in his lap. "You should cherish this! The Beta testers worked super-duper hard yanno! They put their hearts and souls into that there book." Aubrey said as she poked the book twice before raising her finger to give his nose a slight flick.

Aubrey placed her hands over her heart, closing her eyes and smiling with a small sigh. "To work so hard on something, and to have others cherish it! ahhh~ it makes my heart go doki-doki!"
 

Aubrey gave a tut,tut - waving her finger back and forth. "Ooh Soli-chii does not know, nope, nope." She pointed to his spear. "That is a beginner spear! ohoho!" She said as she covered her mouth, laughing. "It has no special enchantments, buuubuuuubuuu!" She added, pretending to wipe away her tears. "Poor, poor Solo-chii!" She said in a pouty voice.

She took a step forward and placed a single finger on Silver-Solice's nose. "Boop. Don't talk like that ne~? That talk is sad and mean!" She quickly covered her ears, "La~La~La~ No talk about death around Abii-chiii!" She then put her arms out in front of her in the shape of a cross. "Bzz-bzz. Not allowed!"
