  1. The atmosphere felt much better when the other spoke since he seemed polite and not so serious as she'd thought he'd be. Cuddling with the familiar was amusing, Pyro crooked her head to gently place her cheek against the animal's head. The action was undeniably cute. "Awww." Pyro giggled again before cooing at the adorableness. "It's okay." She shrugged, feeling okay with his actions since now she was comfortable. "No way! I'm the same." She jumped and smiled, turning her head to meet eyes with the stranger next to her. "I just moved my shop here from Floor 1. It got boring there. Plus this is the best scene ever. Or at least I think so."

"S...Ssendom. Okay. My name's Pyro, no joke." She lifted an arm carefully to keep Amethyst on her shoulder but pet the familiar with a pointer finger. "I'm glad. Amethyst's a cutie. What kind of familiar is it?"

  2. Pyro noticed the man nearby almost instantly. Who wouldn't with his decorative and all the more impressive armor? She wished she could look that amazing and suddenly felt weak with her light two-toned attire. The familiar was definitely unique but even more entertaining to witness as it began dancing. She wondered what this stranger was doing next to her of all the space on Floor 9 but didn't really mind since the animal of his was making her laugh.

"Hey." She piped up softly though covered her mouth slightly to avoid giggling like a little girl. There was no telling if this person enjoyed childish teenagers or serious front-liners. He hadn't even looked at her since arriving. "Y-Your familiar is-" She laughed finally, not being able to hold it in anymore. The immature side of her personality dominated above all else as of now.

  3. Waking up to another day motivated Pyro just enough to get her started and back on the track of making that weapon for herself. She desired either a Rare or Perfect weapon to be honest but right about now she needed a whip in order to use that new skill of her's. Hopefully today would work out. Yesterday had been a failure but not completely, she did salvage that material after all.

An uncommon wasn't good enough for her. Pyro decided to go out and buy a whip from another blacksmith herself as she now was all out of materials. That was the end of the day for her so she closed up the shop and left.

  4. The sound of her fists clashing with a solid object stopped when a random player peeked out from behind the tree she'd decided to attack. "Ah!" Pyro stumbled backwards and reached to pull out her curved blade, instead keeping a hand on its hilt. She was flustered now and had a bright pink face but managed to stay up on her feet. "W-Why would you do that?!" She asked while attempting to catch her breath with a hand over her rapidly beating virtual heart. He'd obviously caught Pyro off guard and she wasn't any more happy than before.

"I-I'm Pyro... You didn't need to scare me like that!" She wasn't going to let the boy get away with how he nearly caused her heart attack but Pyro didn't see him as a threat whatsoever so she let go of her weapon. She pushed the purple bangs covering the left side of her face behind an ear to reveal yet another glowing red eye. Her eyebrows were pointed down to show she was annoyed if the glare in her eyes didn't do the expression she had justice. Awkwardly she cleared her throat and adjusted the collar of her red and black, mid-length jacket. "Uh... How long have you been there Helios?"

  5. Pyro had become lost among the dense forests of Floor 8 a long time ago. Using her curved blade she whacked down vines and plants like Indiana Jones, but this wasn't working very well at all since she was still surrounded by never ending shades of green which contrasted with her black and red attire, purple hair, and bright red eyes. The sun couldn't even be seen due to canopy covering the sky above. If wind were to blow it'd rustle the leaves of high trees but would never reach her body among the floral scenery. With an angry huff Pyro began punching the trunk of a nearby tree while grunting loudly every time flesh made contact with wood. Punch. Punch. Punch. Her anger surged throughout her body relentlessly and wouldn't go away anytime soon. Not unless something made her happy somehow. All of her emotions were wild when created. This part of herself she could never change.

  6. Pyro had been waiting to come back and join the crowds of SAO. Of course she had to deal with personal issues resolving around her medical problems, but that was over and done. They were still present and even a part of her as a whole, only now less bothersome as she'd matured during her time away. The urge to message old pals occurred all of the time but she didn't. She couldn't. Instead Pyro roamed her favorite floor, which was ironically Floor 9. The hottest known so far. Heat never bothered her, she even flicked the cap of the old lighter, that Sousuke gave to her a while back, for entertainment. Long purple hair had been cut a while ago, now falling just under her chin. Pyro's glowing red eyes fell over everyone on the floor who seemed to be complaining about it being too hot. This made her want to slap them yet all she did was glare and walk by. Why come to a floor you don't even enjoy? Her bipolar ways made the angry sided thoughts disappear when she approached the edge of the floor. A sight that made her happy. To others it would appear that she was about to jump but the pale girl was only enjoying the scenery.

  7. Pyro decided to finally return to her daily life after getting a grip on the insanity constantly lingering and threatening to corrupt her ways. It'd been months but finally she was back and the first thing she needed was a new weapon. Getting used to working the smith forge all over again was tough but she quickly overcame the trouble. She was determined to get something, as strong as she was, created.

She hadn't been successful but luckily got her wasted material back. Being tired, she decided to try again tomorrow or maybe go out and ask another Blacksmith to complete the work for her.

  8. "T-Thank you Brayden. I really like these." Pyro stuttered and smiled awkwardly. She was happy that Brayden had decided to kiss her, it was sweet and made her heart flutter. It was the first time she'd worn earrings, but then again, this was just a game so she didn't really have to get her ears pierced. Still the gesture was enough and Pyro was thankful for the gifts that proved Brayden's love even more though she already knew he truly did mean what he'd said.

"Are you sure?" Pyro asked in a dumb voice, already knowing the answer. She hugged Brayden again, not knowing exactly what to say in the first place. "I'm just so happy~" Excitement rung with every word she spoke, and Pyro squeezed her boyfriend gently and affectionately.

  9. "Doesn't matter, we need to get things going and I'll make sure to PM anybody who hasn't come in already. Sol and Brayden haven't come yet I know that." She placed both hands on her hips. "Alright. So we're a small guild, obviously, but I want us to be successful despite the low number of starting players. I've already donated a little amount of COL and chest plate armor to our guild chest. Feel free to put anything no longer of your use in their or anything you've crafted that might help in the future. Make sure to tell (post in the thread) when you take something though. You're not permitted to take any money unless asked first and granted permission by me or Air." Pyro paused for a second before continuing.

"Any suggestions for our first quest, adventure, etc? I thought we should start with some grinding to build up team relationships and get to know one another, our fighting styles, and things like that so I know where you're fit to be and what position is best for you in the guild. If you'd like to just crafts things, or just fight, tell me and I'll make sure it's updated and known. I don't really want to be afilliated with any other guilds because if something goes wrong... well you know. But it might help to get to know someone else in another guild just in case. Now anything you guys want to add to my rant?" Pyro asked, taking a breath after she stopped speaking.

  10. Pyro stood next to Air as her and Griswold worked out the order and how they would and where to get the materials needed to make it. Hanna stood right in front of Pyro but was still behind the counter. The elderly woman was so sweet and Pyro couldn't help but coo over her adorable "old people cuteness". She heard Griswold mention liking Air, but whispered it, but when Pyro heard it she smiled even brighter than usual. It was a secret so of course she wasn't going to tell Air. Hanna gave him a look, a sweet and knowing one, before turning to Pyro.

"So what about you dear, are you going to take the quest as well?" She asked staring at Pyro. "No thank you." Pyro replied and reached out to touch Hanna's necklace. "I like this, it's beautiful." Pyro twirled the white gem around in her slender fingers. It was rather large and it seemed all colors of the rainbow were placed into it when turned around. Hanna nodded and let the younger girl play with her beloved gem. "Griswold gave it to me long ago, probably before you were born. I complained and tried to explain how I knew he didn't need to give me gifts to prove his love but he's such a stubborn man and forced me to put it on." Hanna chuckled. "Now I'm glad I kept it because every time I look at it, it brings back so many memories I'm blessed to have." She put a hand under Pyro's chin and lifted it so her crimson orbs were on the clouded, golden eyes of Hanna. "Remember. It's not about gifts or money, it's about how you feel in your heart that tells you when you're truly in love. And you'll know when that person loves you back. Almost like a sixth sense."

Pyro nodded and Hanna removed her hand. Air was already walking away and Pyro quickly followed in pursuit as to not lose her friend. She waved in a friendly manner at Griswold and his wife, making sure to personally wink at Hanna who nodded at her. Hanna wrapped her arms around Griswold and he kissed the top of her aging blonde-gray hair. 'NPCs... seeming so real since 2022.' Pyro thought and laughed slightly. Air raised an eyebrow at her but then turned back around, minding her own business and not really caring. "Yes." Pyro replied to her remark about Griswold. "You both are extremely stubborn. And you do have the appearance of an old man now that I think about it." She joked and nudged Air.

  11. Pyro enjoyed the looks of Hoel California, and felt like shopping, so she made her way towards the merchant shop. She glanced around the shop at everything available before deciding and telling the merchant what she wanted.

"3 healing potions please." She smiled and leaned against the counter.

    Cost: 1350 COL

"Also, I'd like to sell my old curved sword with no enhancements if that's alright." Pyro opened her HUD and pulled out the required money and sword she'd received from the beginning of the game. It was no use to her anymore and took up valuable inventory space.

Pyro swung her pick 5 times and an iron ore popped out and instantly traveled into her inventory. "Good, good." She huffed and stepped to the side in front of another block. Her goal was officially 15 materials before leaving home, more if she was up to it. Including the 1 material she already had Pyro would have 6 with this one added. "9 more to go." She sighed and started to pick away yet again.

Pyro was glad to move from the thin edge of the gold pit when the next hit came up as a broken ore. Of course, she dropped it, and moved on to a larger spot where she could move around better and more often. Carefully, she wobbled along the edge, as to not fall in the lava far down, and headed for an ore more common. Iron ore. Her favorite type of ore to use to make weapons and armor. Hopefully she'd have more luck.

Pyro nodded her head in accomplishment when she successfully obtained yet another gold ore, glad she'd decide to stay in the same spot. "It's worth another try." She told herself and took a breather before lifting her heavy, sharp pick to another block of gold. The dim light was taking a toll on her eyes and the pick wearing her muscles out but thanks to the game it was different and far easier than it would have been in real life.
