Saoant smiled and gave Manta a thumbs up when she said his advice worked, he also winked and said "Great work Manta, I knew it would work, with you doing it the plan would be fool proof!" He then turned to the guild master who started speaking, he listened intently as the beautiful guild master read out her instructions, he nodded along the way and said "Aye boss, I'll get straight to work!" He did as well, Kosan seemed to get to work attacking monsters and Saoant followed swiftly behind. He was keen to impress his guilt, especially after the guy had landed such an impressive hit, he steadied his breathing and thrust at the boar's head, to his amazement the blow his and he jumped backwards winking towards his guild mate and said "You can call me Akio btw" he realised he was falling into his bad habit of abbreviating things in speech, he just hoped it wasn't picked up on.

Saoant hadn't forgotten the offer Jun made when he was being shown the ropes, he felt slightly bad about not paying him so he intended to leave something behind at least.  By some miracle he didn't get lost on the way there, he waved as he walked in looking over to Jun who seemed quite pleased with himself "Hey dude, you're lucking happy, got a girlfriend? Aha I'm messing, we're both as unlucky as each other. Anyway, down to business, about the offer earlier, I was wondering if you could cook me up a rare rapier with a damage and accuracy modifier please" he made sure he sounded extra polite and sincere at the end to make up for his earlier comment.

Saoant was rather excited about joining a guild yet he wasn't entirely sure what their purpose was in SAO, he'd been in many guilds over the years and each one had their own personality. It seemed he was going to find out what sort of things the guilds did pretty soon as he had been summoned to gather some materials, he'd never actually done it before as he didn't actually have a profession yet but he looked forwards to it nevertheless.

He arrived on the second floor, he'd never been there before but it was relatively simple and he arrived at the meeting place, it seemed he was the last one there which as rather awkward but didn't let it bother him. He walked up and waved confidently as he unsheathed his rapier ready to use should he need it, when he got there he bowed ever so slightly saying "Sorry guys, I came as quick as I could but I've never been off the first floor you see" he wasn't really sure why he was late so decided that had to be the reason, defiantly not because he was slow.

Akio's hug had been returned, normally people just try to move him and call him weird so it was refreshing to be accepted, he knew this guy was going to be a good friend. He did unhook himself either but he didn't mind, he wasn't a girl anyway and bro-hugs don't usually last long. What came next wasn't so fun, he outed heavily at the suggestion he missed a lot, it wasn't his fault the mobs was speedy, his pout weakened as he was patted on the back, he couldn't really be mad at the guy but he kept his face as it was as a matter of principle. He even stayed pouting when Jun said he had fun, he wasn't going to be completely cold though and said "Yeh, it was fun" It was rather odd really, his voice was excitable and sounded like he was having fun but his face not so. He followed Jun out of the cave staying just behind.

Akio instinctively followed Jun with his eyes, if anybody else said they hoped he'd get an item he wouldn't have believed them but Jun was a nice guy, honest to boot. Then the offer came, in all his experience in games he had never had somebody offer to craft a rare weapon for him for free. He raised a surprised eyebrow before attempting to glomp Jun full force, he always glomped people to thank them, it was just one of his things. If his glomp hit it's mark he would hug as tightly as possible and say "Thank you!" dramatically.

Akio went to show Jun his reward however he tripped over something and he fell back on his arse yelping as he did, he managed to pull himself up whilst rubbing his bum again "You know the way I'm going I won't be able to sit down for days, it's like I'm cursed or something, that snake just gave me a single mat!" He sighed, they went to all that effort and he got more fighting a boar, you could almost see the disappointment on his face as he continued "I got a material. You can have the mats, I've got three so far and I can't really do anything with them. You don't have to give me anything, you saved my life twice and that means a lot" He started to open up his inventory and realised he didn't know how to trade, he hoped Jun would do it for him

Akio sighed with relief as the snake was finally beat, sadly he only got some materials again and he had no use for them, he wasn't really a blacksmithy kinda guy, his friend however, was. Maybe he could have a use for them? He wouldn't expect anything in return of course because the guy had saved his life

He was about to offer them when Jun said they should adventure deeper, he nodded and followed behind saying "Just try not to get a chunk bitten out of you, girls don't like holey guys" it was a horrid joke but he found himself funny,

Akio couldn't help but laugh at how cool Jun sounded just to fail so badly, he attempted another half hearted thrust only to miss. He jumped back and turned to his friend "You know if we had girlfriends this snake would have died long ago right?" He was half joking, he genuinely believed having a girlfriend made you perform better in battle, kinda like a lucky charm and motivation rolled into one. The snake was getting on his nerves though, it was about time it just curled up and died.

Akio's attempt protect Jun failed, Jun regained some control and instantly attacked only to be attacked himself. Akio looked at his health bar and decided he should take hits instead now and said as much "I'll take some of the hits, the way you're going you'll be almost dead and we need somebody to take out the demon boars aka mid bosses" he joked as he made a thrust towards the snake. It missed but he didn't intend it to hit, it was merely to put some distance between the two.

Saoant, also known as Akio had only just been accepted into the guild when he received a notification. Apparently the guild was having a meeting on the second floor, it wasn't too far away but in typical fashion he got lost, it took him a good while to get to the location. When he got there he was slightly breathless but looked up and spoke "Sorry I'm late, I just got the message. If I knew so many beautiful girls were here I would have moved faster" he said honestly, he wasn't sure how but he would.

He unconsciously gravitated towards Jun, the only other person he knew had a boyfriend so they probably want to be together, He sat down on a cushion and waved confidently whilst tilting his head slightly "Hello, I'm Saoant but you can call be Aks or Akio, I'm fine with either. I hope I haven't interrupted something, it's just the girls are so beautiful I felt myself being gravitated to this area, much like metal cannot resist the pull of a magnet I cannot resist the pull of a woman" He remembered being told that cheese was good so he laid it on as thick as possible.

Akio was both amused and revealed when the snake was hit on the head with a rock, sadly it didn't do any damage but it was stunned. He was actually quite stunned something like this could happen himself and needed Jun's prompting to get him to attack, he made an amateurish thrust towards the snake which surprisingly hit. Not knowing how long his friend would remain immobilised he stood firm in front of him.

Akio's spirits were lifted by Manta's praise, he had no idea girls actually liked that cheesy pick up lines, he went red again \when she said it was the cutest thing she heard "Really? Well, thank you it means a lot coming from somebody like you, I'll be seeing you around then, sooner rather than later I hope" he would normally have offered to walk a girl home but he had pressing business, he had to contact Mari and sign up to this guild as soon as possible.

Needless to say Akio much preferred Manta's kissy face, he felt himself gravitating towards her but stopped before he got far "Yes, that's perfect, nobody could say no to that face, I mean, even I had physically hold my self back. You know your boyfriend is really lucky right? Even in a cursed death game like this we can find true happiness, and he has more than most, I just hope I can find a girl who loves me as much as you love him" he  looked quite depressed saying this, he didn't want to depress Manta so once again hid behind his drink before draining it dry.

Akio was amazed this girl  had never kissed a guy before and he nodded as she explained things, he figured he might as well try to help "You know some guys like girls to make the first move, maybe if you could book a room in an inn, dim the lights, light a few candles. Maybe you could bring some food and drink, sit at a very small table then when it feels right do the kissy face" he felt like a right dork calling it a kissy face but he couldn't think of anyway of saying it. He'd already made himself look like an idiot so he might as well demonstrate the face, he basically closed his eyes and puckered his lips, he went quite red as he did because he felt like a prat.

Akio was only joking so he was amazed to hear she actually had one, when he thought about it the concept made sense. He nodded as she explained and he had a thought "I've always wondered what it would be like to have no compass if you know what I mean, why do you have a potion like that anyway? A beautiful girl like you doesn't need it" he swiftly face palmed and apologised "Sorry, that sounded like I was hitting on you, I'm not seriously" as much as he would like to he wasn't.

Akio could almost hear the pride in the girls voice, he was even more convinced that the Cerulean Silence was the right guild for him. "Sure, I'd love to join, I've been meaning to pm Mari for a day or two now, I'll do it as soon as we've finished our drinks. Oh and one more thing, you said you make potions, do you make love potions? I haven't been having much luck recently, they've either been spoken for or not interested. Don't worry, I'd never use it on a girl with a boyfriend, that's just low!" He was worried he sounded a little too defensive at the end but he didn't want her to get the wrong idea.

Monty! Of course that was another name that would fit, he knew she was actually a girl, if it was any other game he would have questioned it but this was an exception. He nervously drank a bit more of his hot chocolate leaving a chocolate and marshmallow moustache above his lip. He figured he probably would want to know but she didn't want to say so didn't push it "I admit I'm curious but everybody has their secrets and a secret wouldn't be a secret if you told people now would it? Anyway, I heard you're part of a guild, what's it like?" He had a gut feeling she was in the same guild as Jun was which is why he was asking, he'd love to join a guild, it made life a lot easier.

A look of sheer confusion came across his face, a few letters changed around, there was only a single name he could think of but it couldn't be that. He was still in thought when she complimented him, his face went completely red, he'd spent a life time hitting on girls but one had never called him manly before. Keen to hide his embarrassment he brought his hot chocolate up to his face hoping she wouldn't notice, it was futile of course and he gave up after a few seconds. He decided it was best not to comment on the compliment through fear of making a muppet of himself, instead he answered the earlier question "I have no idea, well, I can think of one name but it can't be, it's a guy's name, Marty" he was surprisingly close, he never once thought of Monty.

Akio smiled when Manta thanked him, even if he wasn't going to knowingly hit on her it was still nice to have a girl thank you. The cashier was quite speedy and handed him a drink before much else could have happened, the price raised his eyebrows but he paid without a comment, he didn't want Manta to think he was a cheap skate now did he.

He moved over to a two person table and she asked about his name "Ah, it's just a nickname I've picked up, probably because it means bright manly hero" he lied, it actually meant that but it was his real name. He was quite curious about Manta's name, he had never met a Manta before "So, what's the story behind your name? It's a lovely name" he felt like adding for a lovely girl at the end but managed to stop himself, just.

His advances had been rejected but he didn't mind, it was the kindest rejection he'd had in a while and replied "Well, I guess I kinda need it, you know, pump blood and all that" He figured he might might as well order something, the drink the girl ordered looked nice so he figured he should have the same "Could I have the same as the lady here, I'll pay for both" he realised  he'd been quite rude and said "Where are my manners, my name's Saoant (say-o-ant) but you can call me Aks if you like, what's your name" Names tend to be useful, he couldn't call her babe or love when she had a boyfriend now can he?

Saoant had figured the snake already had venom, it wasn't trying to constrict them so logic dictated it would have some. Still, he wasn't prepared for it's effect, his friend fell backwards on the floor and appeared to be in a great deal of pain. He wasn't just going to sit back and let the guy take the hits any more. He attempted to charge forwards and stab the snake but it manoeuvred out of the way before it could be hit. Seeing as his attack had failed he stood in front of Jun and spread his arms out to protect him.

Saoant had gotten word of a nifty café, apparently it had great hot chocolate and the food wasn't bad either. He'd gotten lost a couple of times but eventually he got there, when he walked in he found it was a warm and welcoming place, what was even more welcoming was the girl at the counter. He said  "Sixty" under his breath, it was a very high score for somebody he hadn't even spoken to yet. He walked up alongside the girl and said possibly the most cheesy thing in history "Hello there beautiful, are you a thief? Because I think you've just stolen my heart. No matter for you may keep it for I will forever be yours" You could almost see the hearts in his eyes, most people wouldn't be so straight forwards but Saoant was compulsively honest and didn't beat around the bush.

Saoant was concerned about his new friend was going to get hurt, even though he knew the guy was too strong to die in a place like this he was still being hurt for his sake. Spurred on by his desire to protect his friend he launched another thrust towards the ugly snake, once again he managed to hit it although this time it was just a nick and the snake seemed rather annoyed. Anxious not to put his friend in danger he jumped back again and decided to try and spur his friend on "You know that snake is kicking your arse right?" He figured it worked for him so it might work for Jun.

Saoant was so busy feeling proud of himself he didn't notice the snake launching it's attack, the first indication he had was when Jun pushed him out of the way. He watched in horror as Jun was sent flying into a wall by the snake and cried out "Jun, are  you okay?" He then swiftly turned his attention back to the snake and remarked "Damn snake" it was almost half dead judging from its health bar so hopefully Jun wouldn't be hurt too much more. Keen to end the fight he launched another thrust towards the snake, this time it connected cleanly, piercing completely through the snake. He learned his lesson from last time and swiftly jumped back out of its range.

Saoant laughed and said "No, I'm not settling for a boar either" he found his own joke rather amusing and laughed even more. He followed Jun to a rather sizeable cave, it was quite humid inside  and he was on guard, he pulled out his rapier and walked back to back against Jun so they couldn't be caught by surprise. Well, that was the theory, it was pitch black so it wouldn't help anyway, they could at least give the illusion that they could see in the dark.

He nodded in agreement to Jun's warning and sprung around when he commented about a snake, he tutted because he wasn't having much luck hitting a boar and a snake would be worse. Still, he would never hit it by sitting around and being nervous. He bit the bullet and thrust straight at the snake, it tried to dodge to the left but his rapier still nicked it, it felt good to get the first hit in a fight.
