  1. "Hi there, I'm Ashley, nice to meet you, may I know your name?" Ashley replied to me. "The name's Koutei. How ar-" I was cut short by a girl coming in and speaking, while blushing heavily. "Hi there." I said to her. "Were you... following us?"

  2. I followed her as we walked through the town. There was a busy atmosphere riddling with lots of different kinds of people all living lives of their own. I thought about how many different kinds of lives the people here would experience.

  3. She passed me one of her teleport crystals. "Thanks, I owe ya one." She called out the town name and quantized in a dispersal of blue and green shards. "I'm so freaking lucky." I said to myself, smiling like a child in a candy store.

I held up the teleport crystal and called out the same town name that Kat said, teleporting me to the town.

  4. "Quite the opposite." I told her. "I'm happy to come along." I stood up and stepped out into the sunlight, the brightness causing me to have to hold my arm up to shield my eyes for a few seconds. I stretched out my arms under the comfortable warm sun. "Let's get going, shall we?"

  5. She seemed to be extremely embarrassed. I smiled and laid down on my back, looking directly up at the green leaves providing us shade as they swayed with the wind.

I closed my eyes and laid there peacefully as the combination of the cool shade and cool breeze made me feel extremely comfortable. "So how have you been going lately?" I asked her.

  6. My jokes made her go into a frantic panic and I instantly felt guilty. I sat down on the grass and looked up into the sky. "Um... if it means anything, I think you look quite cute like that..." I told her in a gentle voice, still looking up into the vastness of the blue sky.

  7. It was a relief to hear the sound of her voice again. It gave me a bit of inner hope that I had been lacking recently.

"Attractive look you've got going there." I said teasingly. "Going for a 'one with nature' theme or something?" I said that jokingly, but I actually did think she looked pretty cute in the state she was in. I couldn't help but smile.

  8. I walked through the plains, enjoying the gentle morning breeze. It was cool and peaceful, making me feel rather serene. I looked up at the blue sky and, despite knowing it isn't real, marveled at the beauty of the whole landscape.

I looked down at my shoes as I walked across the plains. I was feeling a little lonely. It had been a while since I had talked to anyone I knew. I'd kinda distanced myself from everyone. I felt I needed some alone time, but it was starting to take its toll on my emotions.

I continued walking until i noticed a figure sitting under a tree. "Is that...?" I got closer and my initial thoughts were confirmed. I approached the girl and called out. "Long time no see, Kat." I wasn't sure if she'd recognize me, considering how long it'd been.

  9. "Maybe you're the one being too confident." I teased her. "I'll get stronger. I'm sure of it."

I looked down and noticed my cloak had been cut in the fight. "Aw, geez..." Actually, come to think of it, I have been in need of a new cloak. I guess this finally gives me a reason to get it. "Hey Kat, you wouldn't happen to know any good tailors, would you?" I asked, holding my damaged cloak in my hand.

  10. Kat charged at me and activated a sword skill the moment the timer hit 0. I went to block it with my own sword and the familiar sound of clashing steel could be heard. I grunted as the force of the hit made the pain in my hand sting even more. The sudden pain made me let go of my blade and Kat's rapier followed through, hitting me and winning the duel.

I looked down at my hand. My wound must've reopened in the fight because fresh blood was seeping through the bandages. "Maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all..." I'd tried acting tough and it clearly didn't go so well. "Well Kat, clearly I'm unfit to fight you in my current state, though we will duel again some day and when we do, you better be ready to lose." I teased her confidently. I smiled and winked at her as I picked up my sword and put it on my back.

  11. I accepted the duel request she sent me. I grabbed my Shadow's Alloy from my back and spun it a few times by its hilt before catching it with a firm grip and taking a battle stance. "Good luck, though I'll be the one needing it." I teased as the timer got closer and closer to 0.

I grunted a bit as I felt the pain from my hand, but didn't show it. I won't let something silly like that hold me down...

  12. Totally wasn't expecting another Vanguard player on this site other than Kat and rage who I knew prior to joining...

Thanks for the games today, though it feels like I left a bad first impression >.< I have a really good reputation as a fighter on the wiki, and those 2 games definitely didn't live up to my reputation :S (not making excuses for why I lost, you beat me fair and square)

Anyway it's cool to know another TCG fan on here ^.^

  13. I stepped through the teleport gate and came out in the 5th floor. The first thing I noticed was the heat. It reminded me of back home, always super hot and dry. I walked through town for a bit, using some of the Col I had to buy some better gear. I bought some food and supplies, before heading out to explore.

At the edge of the town was desert. Hot sand as far as the eye could see. I grinned, knowing the environment was one that, while different to the other floors, I would be able to handle without much problem. I opened my inventory and changed some of my gear to better suit myself for the desert. I changed to sleeveless light metal armour so that I wouldn't get too hot and equipped a scarf to keep the sand off my face.

I started walking out into the desert, hiking under the blazing sun.

  14. I grunted and sheathed my sword, knowing I wasn't in any danger with rage there. I'd had enough so, after sending a friend request to Lyra, I disappeared off into the distance without anyone realising, just as I always did.

Death... it's all this game seems to be any more. Couldn't he at least refrain from increasing the death toll any higher than it already is? The sooner I crush this godforsaken game, the sooner all this death can stop.

  15. I stood in the savannah region of the second floor, feeling pumped and ready for some action. It was time to thrash some monsters. I pulled my headphones up onto my ears and set my music to my favourite playlist: classic rock. A Bon Jovi song started playing, further increasing my motivation. I rocked my head to the guitar riffs as I drew my sword.

    ~This ain't a song for the broken hearted.~

An angry ox approached me. I gripped my sword even firmer, almost hurting my fingers. "Come and get me, suckers!" I yelled out, getting the attention of even more monsters.

~A silent prayer for faith departed.~

I activated a sword skill and charged at the ox, eliminating it in one movement. I grinned and turned around, seeing another ox approaching.

~And I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd, you're gonna hear my voice when I shout it out loud!~

The ox charged at me and I blocked it with my sword. I kicked it, causing it to stumble backwards. My sword started shining as I activated another sword skill, slashing the ox and dropping its HP to 0. Two more ox approached and I fought them off as well, killing them without using any sword skills.

~It's my life, and it's now or never! I ain't gonna live forever! I just wanna live while I'm alive!~

I kept fighting the monsters, killing them without taking much damage. I fought off more and more, eliminating them each time. Minutes later, I slashed the last one, my sword skill proving too much for it as it dissipated into nothingness. I turned around, no more monsters in sight. Was it that easy? I grunted. "Damn, I guess I need a better grinding spot." The monsters here weren't a match for me and as a result they didn't give very much Experience.

I decided to head for the fifth floor.
