The boar however took Haseo's mistake to its advantage as it rams its tusks right into Haseo's ribs which caused him to gasp a bit from being caught by surprise of the blow. It wasn't fatal, but it was close enough to where one more hit and he would've been finished. The boar backed up a few paces before it started to pace back and forth in front of Haseo, as if it was taunting Haseo to attack it.

Haseo drew out his Scimitar out to reveal its dull silvery blade. In fact now that he paid enough attention it is getting awfully dark around here. Probably because night is falling rather quickly now considering that he's been out here for hours now, but at any rate Haseo would try to charge after the boar in an attempt to strike at the boar. However he too misjudged the depth and swung too early for he kind of anticipated that it would charge at him too. It seems he was wrong on that part.

It didn't take long before Haseo actually does find something he is looking for once, well sort of at any rate. Since it seems to have found him first before he could really claim that he found it first. It was strangely quiet for the most part, but then came the part where it was no longer quiet as snorting away while it was treading through the forest was a Frenzied Boar, only Haseo couldn't find the boar in time before it squealed as it was charging after him trying to hit him with its tusks. However it seemed to have misjudge the fact that Haseo would've kept walking while turning is eyes to the boar's direction as it zipped past behind Haseo. It skids on its hooves to come to a stop of its built up momentum so that it could turn to Haseo with its eyes glaring furiously red. 

That's cool, I don't know if I can be a front liner yet, but in due time I might get there :3

I know its a little late to do this considering that I've been here since January yet only just recently started to do anything other than getting my character approved. Which kind of tripped me up at first to get used to the new system.

At any rate, my name is just Haseo in this site so its a pleasure to meet you all ^^ Granted i'm still at a Level 1 so I doubt many people are going to let me join a party which is kind of fine with me I guess. I have been told that I'm a very laid back type of guy yet don't take things too seriously. If I seem like I don't take things seriously then I do apologize that's the impression any of you has gotten, I just choose to not overreact much and deal with things in a calmer fashion. It seems a bit more efficient that way and kind of reduces the amount of drama too :3 Which is kind of something that I won't get into is the drama. I can take some of it, but when it gets old over time you would probably notice that I either try to change the subject or crack up jokes to ease the tension. So I hope I can get along with every one of you because it would definitely be a bummer to make enemies right now, rivals I don't mind, but enemies are a bit different than just rivals.

"Sure, though you seem to have more experience at this kind of thing than I do. Every time I go out to find materials I come up empty. But I think I have an idea where we can get some materials. I found a spot on my way back from a quest that looked a bit odd I guess to me. I don't know if it contains any materials, but its better than sitting around twiddling our thumbs I guess." Haseo responded as he would tap on the pommel of his scimitar. "Besides if we don't find anything then we can always find a mob or two and get the mats from them." With that being said he turns on his heel and would begin to walk towards this spot he spoke of while looking over his shoulder to make sure his new friend didn't get left behind. That would be a terrible thing for a party leader to do especially when he would actually appreciate some company as it can get a bit dull and boring around here by one's lonesome.

"Alright, that's it, I've had it, i'm done with all of this searching for materials now." A chuckle escaped from his lips when at first he was just frustrated and now he's just chuckling lightly at the thought. With a sigh to clear his thoughts, he had came to a conclusion that he might as well bid his time with a monster or two depending on how it goes with him. Who knows he might find the last Little Nepent along the way or maybe right after he defeats the monster that he perchance happen to met.

For the third time of searching, Haseo does not find a material for him to use. "You know, this would be the perfect time to learn like a searching skill or something because this is just getting ridiculous." He muttered to himself as he knows that he isn't proficient in finding materials in the first place. Then again the only thing he has his skill is wielding his sword which he so far has gotten the hang of it once he had found out the attack patterns that he needed to watch out for. So without further information to provide, Haseo goes for the final time to find a material. If not then he could always find a monster to keep him occupied for a while until he finds the third and final Little Nepent.

Okay :3 I kind of figured it would be categorized as a polearm or something of that nature. As a naginata while I don't have the Katana skill (yet) I can try to aim for that since I've started out with the one handed curved sword skill and currently the only skill I possess. but any rate I was just curious about that.

I know its not a sword, lance, spear, dagger, axe, mace, staves, etc. But I was wondering that if in the future that there's going to be like an Extra Skill or something of Scythes? I know that scythes wasn't in the series, but I can't help it when I am curious about something. Its not magical or anything like that, its just the fact that its a scythe. Though it could be categorized as a polearm I suppose, but still just wondering :3

Haseo, upon seeing the screen, was a bit confused; not because he's dense or anything like that. He's just never seen an invitation to a party like this. so naturally it took him a second for his mind to wrap around it. He raised his hand and pressed the circle indicating that he accepts the invitation. "Okay, I didn't really see any good spots on my way up here. So if I was to have to guess where our materials would be located i'd say it'll be off roads; probably near the forest. We could head over there while we're still looking out for other materials that we might have come upon by chance."

Haseo pondered on the thought for a bit as he actually had never partied up with anyone. Granted he just started and already he came near to death once during that quest to get those plant mobs out of the picture. Plus if he's hunting for materials that's going to risk some attacks from other monsters in the field, its actually safer to be in numbers than being by himself. Though he never made any friends so he never bothered to ask anyone. Not seeing any harm in it, he nods his head in agreement. Though common knowledge in MMOs from Haseo's past experience before he came into SAO that things like these to happen is like an invitation to get killed by a player. However he believes it's just him being paranoid. "Yeah, that sounds like a reasonable way of getting things done. Whatever we find at the end of the day we'll split it up between us. Such as if we were to get a total of four, we would each get two. Not questioning your intelligence or anything, but its best to state these type of conditions from the beginning than to be caught in the middle of our progress."

Once again, Haseo came up empty handed. At first he thought he was going to find something that would prove useful, but it turned out to be just a part of the forest. Rolling his eyes as he felt a bit dumb for thinking that it would be a material or anything of the sort. Sure he's gotten maybe two materials in his inventory right now, but still the more he had the more he could practice with when he gets a profession. Shaking his head slightly, he would make his way over to the next spot to see if there's anything over there.

After dealing with the second Little Nepent, Haseo figured he could use this opportunity to search for some materials before he goes to find the third Little Nepent and would end this quest he is in. He didn't know when he would be back here, so he figured that he might as well try to find what he can for now. Unfortunately it seems that he couldn't find the materials for he came up empty handed in this area. So he would travel a little ways into the forest and would search for more spots that might contain some of the materials that he is looking for. He's got time to kill anyways, and in truth he is in no hurry of dying either.

Haseo riposte since the plant monster had missed its attack he decided to take this an opportunity to deal some damage. Only he wasn't exactly expecting it to turn out to be the final blow for he knows his range of damage with his blade. Haseo had swung his scimitar at the little nepent in an upward arc, and even he was surprised when his blade bit not just the plant but rather he cleaved straight through its body. Severing the body in half as its health bar went from yellow to blank, indicating that it was dead before it shatters like glass of data fragments.

The plant creature of the Little Nepent hissed, or rather puffed fumes of pollen from its flower at Haseo. It uses its vines to try to strike at Haseo's body as it was the same attack pattern that the previous Little Nepent had used. By now Haseo figured out the attack pattern or at least a piece of it and with him quick on his feet he makes sure to jump to the side in order to avoid the vines all together.

Haseo would've looked up in response to the sound of the voice that came from a distance. As his eyes were looking down and at the nearby monsters to keep his distance. Now looking over his shoulder he sees that there is another player who practically has the same set of armor as he does. Which automatically signaled him that this player is just like him or maybe even a little stronger than he is. Hopefully at any rate for if he was to get into a battle with a monster he would have one hell of a time trying to be useful at anything. At any rate Haseo's movement halts to a stop as he turns to where he's still looking across his shoulder but this time its a bit comfortable for him to look. By habit of his, he lazily placed his left hand on the hilt of the scimitar while not gripping at the blade but still has his hand on it. "Can I help you?" He asked in a calm and nonthreatening tone to the male.

It was in the middle of the day when Haseo came out from the safe zone that was called Town of Beginnings. Which is so far the only safe zone Haseo has discovered since he's never ventured out to the wilderness as he was going to spend his time hunting down some materials. Sure he could be hunting down monsters and such to level up while improving his fighting skill of using a curved sword. However after dealing with that quest of finding that medicine he decided that it wouldn't be best for him to venture out into the wilderness looking for a fight. So instead he decides to level up in a different manner by searching through the fields for materials while also avoiding the nearby monsters. So he was minding his own business, keeping a wary eye out on his surroundings to prevent any surprise attacks that the monsters seem to love to do when he has his back turned towards them.

Cool, though even if I did lower it to 2 dmg it would still kill me in two hits or even one if it crits. So i'll just leave it as it is. Though I did see the fleeing from combat thing in the guide, the purpose of me taking on this quest was to become stronger quicker and make it where I can jump from being a level 1 to level 2 as short time as possible.

Okay, thank you for that. Geez its going to be quick for me to die but oh well. Do you know if its allowed to suggest monsters and such to the mods?

By the luck he had received, he manages to catch sight of a Little Nepent undetected since it had its back towards him. It seemed to be eating something, another plant from the looks of it. But Haseo didn't want to sit around waiting for that thing to turn around to fight him off guard like last time. He's gauged these creature's strength by now, and so far these guys would take roughly two to three hits before they die off while him on the other hand can only sustain two hits max or else he dies and maybe just once if it scores a critical strike on him. Keeping his grip on his scimitar tight, he would dash towards the creature which turned its body around almost like it was about to swing at him but it was actually just turning to his direction in time to get a taste of steel as he had swung his scimitar that bit into the creature's body.

Haseo figured that while he was searching for his target he might as well take the opportunity to try to find any materials he could use. Since he was going to be an Alchemist some day, he figured he could get a head start on finding materials so that when he does start his crafting he would have the materials to craft stuff with. Unfortunately luck wasn't on his side with this one as he couldn't find anything. But that was okay with him because it gave him time to recover his health a bit while he was doing this.

Spinning around after receiving that deadly blow from the creature, Haseo lashed out with his scimitar in hand that bites deep into the Little Nepent's skin where it basically almost cleaves through its body before the creature shatters to pieces. He kind of fell to his knees after the battle had ended, as his eyes went over to his health bar and thanked his lucky stars that he was able to sustain that attack as he was practically done to one health point and that was just one hit from the creature. He didn't receive what he was looking for unfortunately, which means he would have to look around for more of these things. To be perfectly honest he isn't even sure that he should be doing this by himself, but then again he had no friends to talk to and not to mention that he's a bit skeptical to even approach anyone to help him out. So shrugging those thoughts of doubt from his mind, he got back up to his feet and would resume looking for his next target. Hopefully this time he would find it first and get the jump on it before it could respond to him.

While Haseo was indeed trying to blindside the plant monster, its kind of hard to do that when the plant pretty much doesn't have eyes in the first place or at least ones that Haseo could see. The Little Nepent wasn't fooled by Haseo's attempt of evasion and before he knew it the plant had smacked him across the back with its vine like arms which made him wince a but upon contact. It did deal a whole lot of damage than what he originally thought it would, but it still took over half of his health out leaving him with only a quarter of his health bar left to go before he would happen to die.

Haseo took this opportunity as he now knows where the Little Nepent is by charging at the creature using his speed to his advantage. He would swing at the creature once he got close enough and by lady luck of a chance he managed to score a critical hit that almost drove the creature's health to zero. Unfortunately there's still that one health point to go by as he would quick step to the side so that he could use the momentum to get around the Little Nepent as it certainly felt that blow as it kind of squealed a bit.
