Zarryn had succeeded in taunting the boar, but had bit off more than he could chew. As the boar ran at him, he took a step back, tripping in the process, and found himself laying on the ground. As he struggled to stand up, the boar gored him in the side, leaving the orange gashes Zarryn had feared. Zarryn looked at the boar in surprise and watched as his hands started to turn into fragments. He had died. He had lost. Zarryn stared at his sword, felt a tear slide down his cheek, and exploded into fragments.

    Zarryn - DEAD

Boar - 2/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 8, hit)

Zarryn braced himself as the boar came at him yet again, and at the last moment smacked the boar with the flat side of the flamberge, causing it to tumble away. The boar stood up and shook itself before turning towards Zarryn. This battle had Zarryn on edge, he knew the odds of him winning were getting smaller by the second, but he was going to keep trying. Zarryn pointed his sword at the boar and smiled, attempting to taunt it into attacking.

Zarryn - 1/7 HP (Rolled a BD of 5, missed)

Boar - 2/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 5, missed)

Zarryn watched the boar as it approached him, but was unable to dodge quickly enough. He hissed with anger when it landed yet another blow, leaving on the edge of death. Zarryn swung his sword, missing, but still managed to keep the boar at bay, for now. He felt physically diminished, even though he knew he was still perfectly capable of fighting, but almost wanted to fall to his knees and give up. Zarryn grunted and hefted his sword once more, determined to walk out of this alive.

Boar - 2/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 6, hit)

This time, both Zarryn and the boar charged straight towards each other, intent on finishing the battle quickly, and collided with a sickening crunch. Zarryn staggered backwards, with a orange gash across his stomach, and the boar stumbled away with his sword lodged in it's side. Zarryn reached forward and retrieved his sword, tearing it from the beast's side, and looked at his low HP bar, which was concerning. The boar seemed to be evenly matched with Zarryn, and it was all up to fate now.

    Zarryn - 2/7 HP (Rolled a BD of 9, scored a critical)

Boar - 2/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 10, scored a double critical)

  5. Exactly! We both suffer the same curse then. Another things is, do you prefer to draw with a normal pencil or a mechanical pencil? It might not seem like a big deal, but with a normal wooden pencil, I can't draw half as well as I can with a mechanical one.

  6. Zarryn was taken aback by her statistics, and couldn't hide the shocked expression. He was surprised that she knew all of his stats as well, and stared at her for a long time before speaking. "You are FREAKING amazing! I wish I could be like you, but I have a long way to go." This was a model player right here. This is the type of person Zarryn wanted to be (he obviously doesn't know about her behavior most of the time). Powerful and obviously intelligent. He drew his sword and held it out for her to see.

"Is it possible to upgrade a weapon? Or level it up? I love my sword, but I don't want to depart from it. I figure asking someone who knows what they are doing might know something like this." He watched her, eager to hear an answer.

  7. My personal favorite character is Samus, with Falcon coming in second, and Link coming in third.

My favorite stage is Saffron City.

And as for which game is best, I prefer the original Super Smash Bros. The newer versions are just weird for me.

I would like for a remake of the original Smash game in which the 'storyline' is a bit longer and there just a few more characters. It's obvious that in the remake, higher quality graphics would be part of it.

    So yeah, that's that.

Zarryn let his sword fall to the ground as the boar charge him once more, executing a roll and avoiding it entirely before picking his sword back up and jabbing at the boar's side. When he felt the blade pierce the boar, he yanked it back out and backed away, still being cautious.

The boar snorted angrily and shook it's head, showing obvious irritation. Zarryn winked at the boar, laughing when it didn't react. Why would it? It's not human.

Boar - 4/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 3, missed)

Zarryn bound towards the boar, attempting to cleave his sword through it at the last moment, but missing, and then jumping aside and circling around it. He looked down at his abdomen to see two small orange gashes, which meant the boar had landed a hit. Zarryn took a step back and then vaulted over the boar, landing on the opposite side of it, hoping disorientation might be a thing here.

Unfortunately, the boar followed him with extreme speed, and never let him escape it's sight. This was one combat-adept boar.

    Boar - 5/5 HP (Rolled a MOB of 9, scored a critical)

Zarryn stood several yards from the boar, and watched it intently. It didn't appear to be too strong, but he had to be cautious nonetheless. Drawing his flamberge, he held it with both hand, and charged the boar, quickly covering ground. As he approached the boar, it spun faster than Zarryn predicted, and easily evaded his attack.

Zarryn grunted as he adjusted his sword on his shoulder, and sidestepped the board's incoming charge. He smirked and prepared for a semi-serious battle.

Zarryn - 7/7 HP (Rolled BD of 3, missed)
Boar - 5/5 HP (Rolled MOB of 1, missed)

  11. Zarryn stared at the three, deciding what to do. He stood up and pushed his chair in politely, saying, "If you guys intend to tag along for something, we may as well do something." He started walking towards the door and said in a mild tone, "Maybe we could gank a couple of boars?" He opened the door and stepped outside. He smiled at the others through the open door and said, "You coming?"

This day was quite interesting, and Zarryn was eager to see how it would end up.

  12. Zarryn grinned, this player was funny. She had, in a way, made the joke funnier. He thought the potion was cool, but said, "No, thank you. A day isn't long enough here." He assessed her appearance and came to the obvious conclusion that she was a higher level, but he also noticed that her behavior seemed a touch... irritated? Annoyed? He shrugged, as long as he didn't bother her, it would be okay. Zarryn took a step back and said in a slightly humorous tone, "I guess the bow wasn't really necessary in this situation, was it?"

He was at a loss for words. This player's behavior was different compared to other people he had encountered.

  13. Zarryn sighed and addressed the female, saying, "A pleasure, Ariel. Call me Marilyn..." He spoke the way he did not from being bored, but because he was thinking about his career as a blacksmith. He liked the idea, he really did, but it might get, well, boring for him. He looked her up and down and said matter of factly, "Based on your behavior, you either know these guys or you are socially deprived and chose to talk to us. Which might it be?"

He coughed then, and took another sip of his now cooling coffee.

  14. Zarryn stopped short as a female voice told him to, well, shut up. He turned his head to look at her and said with a frown, "My apologies, I was just humming, and didn't mean to bother you." He stood up slowly, yawning and stretching before taking a step towards her an bowing gracefully. He said in a relatively friendly tone, "A pleasure go meet you. You can call me Marilyn."

He decided to crack a joke and said slyly, "Don't worry, just because my hair is pink and my name is Marilyn, I'm not a girl."

  15. Zarryn sat in the middle of a field, staring up at the sky and running his hand along his sword, feeling the curves under his fingers. He was bored, and could think of nothing to do. He saw a stand of hair fall in front of his eye and flipped it back into place. Pink was a nice color, but it was getting tiresome.

As he sat there, he started humming the tune of a childhood song with words he couldn't remember.

  16. Zarryn nodded, a quest, no problem. Though, he would have to get stronger before he did any real fighting. He took a sip and said heartily, "Tell you what! Once I have my profession, I will make you something for free! That's a promise." He crossed his heart with his hand in a claw shape to make a point, and smiled. A promise it was. Zarryn sipped his coffee some more, and, after remembering the guild, said, "That would be nice. I can't wait."

He looked at X and leaned forwards, whispering, "What do you think of my hair color? I'm hoping it isn't too noticeable. I had it dyed not to long before I started the game. Now, it's permanent, well, until we escape the game."

  17. Zarryn found the smells pleasant, but was focused on something entirely different. A blacksmith. Perhaps he could make armour and weapons. That would be quite nice, and he could help others for a change. He waited for the coffee and decided to try to clarify some things, "I am interested in becoming a blacksmith, but I am unsure of how to become one. Is there a level requirement?" Zarryn felt stupid, but he genuinely wanted to know. As the coffee arrived, Zarryn accepted his and took a sip, mildly enjoying the flavor. X seemed like a nice enough person, and Zarryn knew that they could be great friends.

  18. Zarryn shook his head, displeased with the profession and how it worked. He had just wanted a guitar, not a job of playing a guitar. He saw the Town Of Beginnings ahead and said, "Tell me more about these professions, I'm sure there have to be more." Zarryn looked at X and laughed, he must sound like a complete and total newbie.

The guild also had his attention, and he fully intended to join when he had the chance. As they neared the Town, Zarryn couldn't help but smile. He had wound up walking with a near complete stranger, odd.

  19. Zarryn shrugged and began to follow the player, curious about the cafe. As they walked, he thought in silence, eventually saying, "Tell me more about the guild, my interest has been piqued." He liked the concept the guild was built around, and was interested by the... what? Professions, that's it. He stayed at the same pace as the player, and asked after thinking some more, "Do you need a profession to play that guitar, or is that something we all can do?"

  20. Zarryn nodded as he stood up straight and saw a hand being offered. He, in turn, formally shook the player's hand and said, "Nice to meet you, X. May I ask what your full username may be?" Zarryn smiled and stared past X, focusing on something far off in the distance. Several moments later, he snapped back to attention, hoping he hadn't missed out on any useful facts.

As Zarryn smiled pleasantly and waited for a response, he started twirling his thumbs, which is an art he excels at.

  21. Zarryn was unphased by the sudden appearance of a player, and shrugged saying, "Nah man, I'm not really the type of person to do that type of stuff. Though, I do like your guitar." He smiled and turned to address the player, bowing and saying, "Call me Marilyn. It is a pleasure to meet you." He coughed and frowned as he realized that he had mixed up the two sentences. Oh well, accidents happen.
