  1. Cidney's eyes were closed as soon as Cidney saw the player walk by, but then she peeked at him, watching the man slowly exit the town. It was like in slow-motion. Awww....No! Cidney's crazy side came out as she leaped off of the bench, running at the player, screaming loudly for everyone to here: "Come Back! Don't leave! No matter how much of a girl she had sounded, Cidney charged off the bench and at the player until she came to a quick halt by the gate to the outer world, staring forward.

Oh, Cidney, don't just stand here, go get that player! But she couldn't find it in herself to do it. NO!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cidney's shy side was gone, and her cowardly part as well as Cidney flew outside of the gate and a nice smile formed on her little lips, as Cidney found it as not as bad as she thought. This isn't that bad.........In the distance, Cidney saw a boar. But the boar was no where close. Then Cidney saw a little butterfly flying around, that showed to Cidney that this outside world was not all that evil/bad.

So, Cidney overcame her fear and sprinted at the player who had walked past her. "Wait up!"

(OOC;Sorry about the late and small post! In a hurry now)

  2. Cidney sat with her mouth gaped wide when the player ushered her nearer, out into the wilds of floor one. But there was no possible way she was going to leave this gate alone, but she might have with someone's help. But Cidney could not leave her post by the gate no matter what until she was pushed and pushed by someone. Cidney would not leave, even though the butterfly looked really cute to Cidney. What shall I do?

Cidney looked out at the players again, and took her foot, stomping it back out of the safe zone. Almost immediately after, Cidney's feet came flying back into the safety of the biggest and most populous safe zone in Sword Art Online. But when Cidney thought about the reasons to go, and the reasons not to go, she came to this exact conclusion: How in the name of......How......How did I end up in this death game? Why did I end up as the shy one? Wasn't I supposed to be the brave one, the woman leading the raids on the highest of floors? Shouldn't that be me? Is that me? Would that have been me if I weren't on floor one, being scared of everything anyone could be scared of. Why was I........

Cidney sat on the bench by the gate, hoping the two players-who she now knew were guys, even though that did not matter- would come to help her. But maybe she did not want help, maybe she did. Do I? Why in the world am I never sure on these kind of things! Why do I keep asking myself questions? Why, I ask you Cidney, why! Cidney's spear was gripped well in her hand as she sat on the bench, but soon enough her face was in her hands, as the tears streamed down her face. What is up with...... What is up with..... What is up with me! Her mind jogged through the real life world, and she knew she had to escape from this world of death. But Cidney had yet to leave the safe zone, and without major counselling help, Cidney would most likely never leave the safe zone of floor one. Well actually, she may visit other floor's main cities, but how would she ever view battle? Cidney needed help, whether these players could help her with her problem, Cidney could not know. She could only hope.

I can only hope that these two....................These two will be the ones that bring back my courage. My courage, that has fallen down into the deepest part of the Greek Underworld. The courage that had token an accidental journey into Tarturus. And I will need help venturing into the Underworld to reclaim my courage, the other quarter portion of my soul that was missing. I need it!

  3. Cidney knew she would die if she left the town. She knew that. But Cidney wanted to leave it so badly, and she figured, it wouldn't be that bad to die in battle, especially helping someone help. So, in the end, Cidney had to decide upon leaving town. But she was not highly equip with much gear, but she still was gonna head out to the wilds, whether her instincts agreed with her or differed with her. Cidney would not stay in the Town of Beginning's on floor one any longer! It was time for her to awaken her true inner self. Cidney had to do it, to bring open her soul.

I have to survive, but I also must fight.....I need to stop being a shy little duckling and wake up! SNAP! Wake up, Cidney. You need to wake up, and realize you are not allowed to sit and rot on floor one under any circumstances at all. Cidney snapped herself out of it as she slipped out of bed, slowly sliding off her pajamas, and putting on her everyday clothes, which did not require any washing. That was a cool part of Sword Art Online. You did not have to wash your clothes, and you did not even have to eat!

How could anything make your body survive without any sort of food? It's not like someone's been coming to my house and feeding me...... What is in this game that makes it so strong and almighty? What is it in this amazing game?

Cidney had finished slipping on her clothes and now grabbed the little key to her hotel room and her sketchbook as she left the room, locking it behind her. It was still available at this time of day, the free breakfast in the inn. So what Cidney needed to do was get a very good and inspiring meal, that would keep her alive when she finally left this town.

When Cidney made it to the bottom of the inn's stairs, she smelled the amazing scent of waffles with syrup, yogurt, apples, orange juice, and more that some's wildest dreams! Cidney stuck to waffles and yogurt again though, and with a little cup of hot chocolate at her side, as she sketched another sketch in her drawing, as she did at every meal.

The drawing this time was of her food, which it had never been before. Cidney was also in a good mood, so that might of added to the reason she was gleefully drawing some waffles and yogurt with some hot chocolate. But, as she ate, a small smile formed on her lips. Cidney was gonna exit the inn, and be happy, as she would cross those gates, without a fear this time. And hopefully with some kind of hide or fang pulled from a normal mob as well coming with her.

I? Die? You got to be kidding me.

  4. Cidney was finally starting to get over the death game, but she was still not sure if she ran into the wild, if she would die or live. But now was her time to decide-Reason: There was a new interesting quest she had seen, and it would do to her favor, making her money for new gear if she were to leave the town. The quest was called Earning a Living.

By the title, what you would most likely get is, huh. Some idiot may take this because they are a downcast. Then you begin to read it, and you see that it is not the type of thing this quest was. The quest was where you gained a profession and a shop, while you being the proud owner of the shop. The professions were as followed: Artisan, Blacksmith, Tailor, Merchant, Fishing, Cook, and Performer. Honestly, being a cook or performer sounded fun, but she loved art. So Cidney had decided to go with being an artisan in the end.

But the deal was with this, that before you could learn how to become an artisan, you had to explore the forests of floor one for materials, and Cidney most definitely did not want to leave the town. And if she did happen to leave the town, would she go alone? If Cidney went out alone, she would most likely die, have a mental breakdown, or die from suicide. And she knew that in her head if she had went home without going on this quest, Cidney would look down upon herself the rest of her life. But she did not have any friends..... So there was no possible way..... Maybe Cidney could make a friend? Not likely, with Cidney being as shy as she currently was.

So, Cidney decided she needed to enjoy some lunch alone before deciding who to have as a friend accompany her, or if she would go alone. Cidney had no col, so she always had to eat in the free food tavern, where the rich bought millions of bottles of wine(which did work in the game) and the poor just stuck to the bad quality food they would otherwise throw to the pigs, in which Cidney doubted the pigs would've liked the food either.

But surprisingly, the tavern had finally found it in them, in their stupid NPC hearts. the whole place had free food, including the wine and good quality food items. Well, that de-gloomified her very dull life in Sword Art Online a bit. Cidney ordered a delicious cheeseburger with a water, and that was all. As Cidney waited, she began to draw her next drawing in her sketchbook, which de-stressed her life a lot.

The shapes and figures Cidney began to draw first seemed like she was drawing a little box. But eventually, the drawing began to overtake some form. The drawing was finished right before the food came out, and Cidney looked at the beautiful bunny rabbit drawing she had made, and actually smiled a bit for once. Maybe this game isn't as bad as it seems.... I just need to escape from this Town of Beginnings, that's all.

The cheeseburger that came out was delicious looking, and was delicious while she ate it. As she ate, Cidney began to think deeply and more thoroughly in her head. What should I do? Should I find someone? Or what......Cidney left the restaurant with her food quickly devoured, saying a "thanks," to the NPC waitress. Then Cidney headed out to the town square, to look for a person to help Cidney on her maybe deadly quest.

While she looked through the town, Cidney poked around looking for a player to join her in the quest. She then continued to look around, but did not know how to ask anyone. Cidney was too shy to ask anyone. But the truth was, she was just sad about the death game. Somewhere inside, Cidney knew she had a friendly side.

Cidney continued to look around, until she reached the town gate. There was a bench there..... Maybe if I pretend to sleep on this bench, someone will take notice of my existence, and come and wake me up, then I will have a chance to ask for a party. Cidney hopped onto the bench, laid back, and kicked her feet up, as Cidney began to relax and sun bathe a bit in the sunlight. Yes, the beautiful sunlight it is......

  5. I just checked for myself and yes you are correct that it is a Perfect Item to get a +1 CD. I'll edit to where i'm looking a Perfect Item then. Also if you do make it and turn it in before anyone else does then the money would go to the one who turns it in first. Which at this point might be just you Cidney

Okay, I will tell you when I am finished with my Earning a Living!

  6. Cidney was in her hotel room, in the corner, rocking back in forth in a old, creaky, rocking chair. It went back and forth as Cidney stared past, at the wall, in tears. The game had gotten to her and so many others- She did not want to die so young, like so many others had already. Turning to look at the little clock by the bed, the time read: '10:00 A.M'. Cidney had to get up and go get a meal. The place she was currently staying at was free but very lame.  The breakfast, on the other hand, was actually alright.

Waffles, waffles, and waffles, it was everything she could even imagine! As she chowed down on some waffles and yogurt, she pulled out a little sketchbook, and began to draw a little sketch of something she was not sure of. As the image Cidney was sketching began to become more apparent, it was a bunch of crystals exploding into several millions of shards, indicating that someone or something had died.

What would happen if I actually left the town? Would I leave to be killed? Or would I become the best player in the game? Cidney began to think of her favorite game she had ever played, Final Fantasy Three. When someone died, you always had a Phoenix Down in your inventory or a temple to revive the player. But in this cursed game all there was was death......And when you died, there was no coming back. Ever.

Cidney finished off her breakfast and began to walk around the town, completely bored. She did not know what to do. What would she do? No one in the game liked her. So what would happen if she did die? "Hey......Um....Anyone want to form a party? Maybe a large one, preventing death?"  But no one could hear Cidney's shy and quiet voice. She slowly continued to stroll through the city streets, looking at all the NPC stores and stands. If what she needed to keep herself alive was a new weapon, but she did not have any col, but to col you would have to fight monsters, and if Cidney fought monsters, She thought she would undoubtedly die.

So, to not die, she needed one of the items that required her to die before she could get them. Well that sucks! I was hoping I could find my way into this game a bit easier...................Cidney left the stand without another thought about death. I will not die. No matter what! Cidney's sea blue eyes were visible from every angle, with the little teardrop falling from the left eye.

Cidney actually gripped her thoughts together long enough to walk over to the gate. Cidney would not exit the gate, for fear of death. In the distance, Cidney saw two players, in which one was chasing a butterfly it seemed. Well that looks fun.............But I could never risk death for a butterfly. Would I? Cidney backed a bit away from the gate, knowing anyone could simply shove her and Cidney would be in a deadly situation.

Cidney now had her spear in her hands, but she did not want to leave. Walking a bit closer to the gate, she took her foot, and shoved it out but quickly brought it back into the city's gates, and fell to the floor while teardrops began to form in her eyes again. Why........ Why am I so scared of leaving the Town of Beginnings? Why are so many of us like that? "Why am I!" Cidney exclaimed quietly as tears continued to droop from her eyes. Maybe I could leave?

After a few minutes, Cidney finally stood up again, and looked out of the town at the two players again. Maybe I could just go play with the butterfly with these two players and come back quickly............Cidney almost walked outside of the gates for once when she pulled to a stop. Cidney could not go. She would not go. So, instead, Cidney sat by the gate, looking at the two other players, seeing if either of them would notice her. Cidney needed help to get herself through this nightmare, or this game would devour her. The game would chow down on her soul, then dispose the remains into the real world, for all to see.... But for no one to care. No one ever loved or cared for her that much besides her mother in the real world, and no one in this game cared for her period. Maybe Cidney would find her true love in this death game though................Will I?

  7. Well, why don't you just fight a stronger one in the wild without the requirement of a quest being made? Unless you're wanting this to happen for skill points that is. If you are wanting this for skill points, then ya, go with it. But either wise, can't you just fight one in the wild? I’m new here, so please tell me if my logic is incorrect.

    » About: History/personality

Cidney was born on a crisp Autumn day in late August. Her birth parents, Howard G. Brown and Lucillia J. Brown, Cidney grew a little spoiled in her first years at least, but most kids are treated that way when they are kids.

Cidney was born with blonde hair and sea-blue eyes. While she grew up her early ages through five, she was born in the time you would call the “tech revolutionâ€. Everyone in the world was becoming techy. No matter who they were, they were a bit techy. If they were an old grandma born long ago or a newborn baby, everything they were involved with had some tie with technology.

So Cidney continued life through age five being a spoiled little brat until school came upon her at age five. Preschool, that was. While Cidney was in preschool, none of the other kids liked her for some reason. They would pick on her for everything and, strangely, she didn’t know why. But everyday of her  years in Elementary everyone seemed to resent her, as she carried a windows ten laptop to every classroom, and would easily become the class pet of each year’s class, no matter who the instructor was.

But when Cidney had reached  fourth grade, Cidney’s family had to move to a far away island which her family seemed to call Japan. She would also have to learn a new language while she was there, but in this island of “Japan,†everyone seemed to be techy. So now Cidney would not be picked on for being too techy for the others, no, she would be picked on for her speech errors and her Amrican skin color.

But she grew to grow and prosper in Japan. As she was a techy, and Japan had hit the tech revolution pretty well, it was the right place for her. She quickly caught on to the Japanese languages. The other kids gradually grew to become closer with Cidney, which was a not very Japanese name. Eventually she finally made it to  the English equivalent of middle school in Japan, She was what you might call the “popular kid†while in middle school.

Everyone followed her footsteps in middle school, and followed her around, doing whatever she asked whenever she wanted. But she did not choose to be like that, she was just made like that. You know how heroes are not made they are born? Well popular kids are not born they are made(most of the time).

But everyone was around her in middle school. So when high school came down upon her, and people’s views of her seemed to change due to color, American descent and more, it was rough. Everyone hated her. They wanted her out of their school. Heck, some wanted her dead.

But Cidney survived it and when she turned eighteen-As soon as she turned eighteen- She moved out and was a cook at a fancy restaurant for a little while. She was not what you would think of most girls though- She loved gaming. Gaming was her whole life. So when Sword Art Online came out, it was no surprise that she was one of the first thousand buyers. Although she missed the beta testing, she still knew it would be fun learning the ropes in the game.

“Link Start!†She yelled as loud as she could, as her body entered the game, quit possibly to never come back again.

    » Virtues:

Fast Thinking. Cidney was  a fast thinker. She could pop out codes randomly from her head to use on a game she was creating, putting the sprite and everything into the right spot with that one fast paced code she came up with. The codes were not all though. When she was playing games at an arcade or on her Windows ten laptop, she would always now exactly which way to dodge before anything could come at her, like she knew the game like she knew her right hand could move. But sometimes, she was not so sure her hands could move.

Strategic. Cidney had been gaming her whole life, so strategy came more easy to her in life than someone who lived in Africa and had never seen a video game before. Cidney knows almost a million different battle tactics that could work in Sword Art Online. Cidney’s  favorite game by far was the remake of Final Fantasy Three. She would always play it over and over again, trying different things out. Such as, how well do a bard and a dark knight work together? Or maybe if the whole party were freelancers? But then there were other new games that were way over priced that Cidney would buy and play, trying the game over and over again with new tactics.

Smart. Cidney hadn’t even gone to college yet, and she already knew how to make many different types of games, but it was not too wide. Basically all it was was that she had been by games so much that she adapted to them and learned how to make them. She was always tinkering with games her whole life. She never got below a B on any quarter on semester grade, ever. She would probably kill herself if she got below a B.  She also hopes to be a computer programmer or game developer for some big company some day, possibly Microsoft or Game Freak.

    » Flaws:

    Reference: http://www.darkworldrpg.com/lore/flaws.html

Shy. Cidney is shy in many different ways. Well, to start with, part of the reason she is so shy is because of the fact that people disliked her because she was a geek and different skin color, although she dropped all that in middle school, people realized that they disliked Americans when she went into high school, and ever since middle school ended, she has been a shy little duckling.

Desperate for Love. Through the barrier of shyness in Cidney, in her heart, there is an atrium. And that specific atrium longs for love, no matter how “high†of a dream it was for Cidney, she knows there is a man somewhere out there who longs to be with her as she longs to be with that very man. She wanted love,, no matter how high a dream it was for her.

Thinks too Much. It can sometimes be put as a virtue, this one, because good and critical thinking is also good at times. But you ever hear when someone tells you not to overthink something? Well than don’t over think it. Go with your gut. But Cidney has a rough time doing that. She does not know how to not overthink something, which could also be considered a reason why she’s so shy and anti-social.
