  1. "Yeah," Breeze said, "let's do that. I will take the quest to become a blacksmith, I guess. Help would be welcomed." He smiled politely as the waiter gave him his water, and continued to speak to Meokka, "I will go ahead and get ready for the quest, when would it be convenient for you to assist me?"

He was excited, he was going to be able to help others in another way.

  2. Breeze nodded, saying, "Yes, let us leave this area." He was nervous, but also relieved. These players were offering help, and Breeze was eternally grateful for that. He spoke again, smiling, "I have no clue where those places are, so one of you needs to lead the way."

The threat of Cardinal had faded away in the presence of these two players.

  3. Breeze unsheathed his scimitar and set it on the table, saying, "Well, if it is not obvious, I use a scimitar. Well, not use, carry around." He thought for a while and said, "I do not know which trade I prefer. All of them can help others, so it is a bit of a difficult decision." Perhaps he should get a proffession. But which one?

If he were a blacksmith, he would make weapons that aided in the progression of the game, quickening the escape. Helping everybody. Yes, blacksmith it is.

He smiled, it had not taken much thinking to decide, after all.

"Perhaps I could be a blacksmith. But forging weapons is not the only thing I will do. Helping others can be done is so many ways."

  4. Breeze sighed, saying, "Before I explain the events leading up to this, I just want you both to know that I will not kill him. I don't even want to harm him at all, but it appears that my hand is forced. If just beating him senseless can stop his behavior, then that will be my course of action. If not... I do not know what I will do."

Now for the story. He took a deep breath, preparing for a massive explanation:

"I love to help people. It is just what I do. So when I saw a poor girl surrounded by apparent thugs, I did what was natural and decided to assist her. I approached the group and found out that they intended to kill her. I stepped in and managed to distract the leader, Cardinal, how bad being a PKer was. Of course, he doesn't seem to care about that now, seeing as he wants to butcher me. Once the girl got away, he realized that I had been stalling him and he swore that he would take my life."

He thought for a moment, "I had not seem him recently, and had assumed myself safe, for now. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was going for a walk outside the Starting City when he came out of nowhere, howling like a beast, and tried to disembowel me. I started running, and now we are here. That is everything I can recall."

He noticed that he had spoken not in whisper, but at a normal tone, without faltering. He seemed to be getting better at socializing, even if it was about situations like this.

  5. Breeze sighed, saying, "I don't want to kill either. I really don't. But I already tried to reason with this man, and he refused to accept reason. Unless just beating him gets the point across, he may have to be killed. Which sucks." Yeah, that sounded like a plan, even if it was a terrible plan. Cardinal would not leave him be, and would continuously threaten his life until he is no longer capable of doing so. When they had run into each other today, Cardinal had drawn his weapon and instantly tried to kill him, showing his disregard for Breeze's life.

There was no other choice, really. Except for maybe put him in a prison, but Breeze was sure that Aincrad didn't have any of those.

I must sound really bad to these guys, but I only say this out of sheer necessity.

  6. Breeze looked at the player whose name he still did not know, and said, "I simply protected somebody, and those fools are after me now." He thought for a bit before saying, "It should be said that the leader is the only real problem. He is out for me, and his buddies do as he does," he paused, going through several ideas, "if we killed him, one of us would become a PKer. Whereas if we... er... beat him into submission, he may come back with vengeance in his heart."

It appeared that Breeze was forced to make a decision. But which choice should he make?

Perhaps he could critically injure Cardinal and then throw him near some mobs, letting them finish the job. No, Breeze couldn't carry that out. But maybe one of these two could. Yes, he would let them know his plan.

"How about we combine the two ideas and add a... twist? We... beat the leader to a pulp, and then leave him to die to mobs. Boars? Wolves?"

  7. Breeze stared at the player who had just exited the bush, and was apparently called Lowenthal, nearly jumping out of his skin. When he realized that the player was not a part of the previous group, he responded, "Nobody important, just a bunch of... thugs... who have a problem with my existence." He looked to the other player, who had revealed Lowenthal's name, and said, "I would not think that he had anything to do with those guys, since they were after me." Why are there suddenly other people here? I hope they are not in league with the others.

Breeze glanced around nervously. If this was a trap, it was well set up. Hopefully, it was not. But he could never be too sure, now could he?

Well, the one named Lowenthal sure wasn't. It appeared that he had been in the bushes longer than Breeze

  8. Breeze ran through the woods, panting heavily. He glanced back and saw, not to his surprise, that the players were still chasing him. Looking ahead, he noticed a small clearing that split into three paths. Picking up his pace, he entered the clearing and sprinted through the path on the left, hoping the others would be tricked. He dove into the foliage and waited, being as quiet as possible.

He just had to wait until everything had subsided, and then he would be fine. The other players did not come rushing by, and after roughly twenty minutes, he crawled onto the path and stood up. That was twice now, that he had encountered those players. Though this time, they seemed determined to carry out the threat from before.

He knew the leader's name, which was good. Cardinal. Sure it was an odd name, but that made the player no less threatening. He stood there for several minutes, thinking about what to do next.

Perhaps I should put up a bounty? But how would I reward the person who takes out Cardinal? I can't do that.

Another thought entered his head. Perhaps I could kill Cardinal himself? No, I refuse to kill. maybe maim, but never kill.

  9. Breeze took a deep breath, saying quickly, "Have you ever known anybody who has died in this game? I fear I may join those who have already passed on, and I just want to be sure at least one person remembers me." Once more, he nervously laughed, afraid that she may think him silly for being so scared. Normally, he wouldn't care if nobody payed him any attention, but he had slowly began to fear being forgotten or unnoticed. And with the threat on his life, that fear had grown exponentially. He saw a waiter walk by and said, "May I have some water, please?"

As the waiter walked away, he looked back at Meokka, smiling sheepishly.

  10. Breeze laughed and said, "Yes, this is all I got. But I intend to get better gear later, just for protection." He thought back and whispered to himself, "I do remember... one of the player's names was some form of animal." That player had been the apparent leader of the group, and the one to utter the threat.

He looked at Meokka and said, "I am curious, and if you don't mind me asking, I have a rather serious question." He laughed, it was a way to relieve his own stress.

  11. Breeze shrugged, why not? He lightly smiled and said, "Sure, why not. A good meal couldn't hurt. And thanks, for offering help. I will call upon you if I should ever need assistance, I think." As they walked, he decided to answer Meokka's question.

"I am quite sure that the people who put me into such an uneasey state did so because I... uh, how would you say it... foiled their plans," he looked at her and continued, "they were, from the looks of it, going to harm a fellow player. So I stopped them. They were not pleased."

He felt a little redundant, having now thought and said the same thing in such a short period of time. He also felt off, as if he were different today. He had talked to two people today, and introduced himself both times. He accepted Meokka's friend request and smiled. Hey, as long as he was helping out, it was fine.

  12. "...Breeze. Call me Breeze. And it is nice to met you, Meoka," he said with unease. Wait, did she know Calrex? He looked in the direction that Calrex had walked, and then back at Meokka. He laughed, "I guess it is a small world, if I have already met two people who know eachother in the same day. And as for people trying to harm me, I am inside a safe zone, so I should be reasonably safe." He eyed her lance, and had to admire it's appearance, which oddly comforted him.

Breeze felt his muscles loosen up, and he realised that he had actually been quite tense before. But currently, in the presence of Meokka, he felt at ease. He knew that it didn't mean he was not worried about the other players, just that he knows that he is safe currently, for the most part.

  13. Breeze nearly jumped out of his skin when a girl, who had gone previously unnoticed, decided to adress him. He sighed and said, "I am... uh... fine. Who might you be?" He shuddered. The more he thought about those players from before, the harder it was for him to keep cool. He glanced around nervously and said, "You aren't here to kill me, are you?"

Looking up, he noticed that the sky was just a slight bit darker than it had been, and a whole new bout of uneasyness came over him. It was best to be inside by dark, especially with people out there who want to kill you.

  14. Breeze had started walking, but was nearly toppled over by a small figure. He glanced down amd saw the girl hugging him. He laughed and looked up towards the parents, who mouthed 'thank you' to him, being slightly out of hearing range. He knelt down and hugged the girl, not sure what else to do. Eventually, the girl's embrace loosened, and he was able to detach her from himself.

He felt a smile on his face, and quickly forgot about the threats from before. He was doing the right thing by helping others, that much was obvious. And he would never stop helping others, even if his life should be at risk.

Watching the girl return to her parents yet again, he noticed Calrex in the distance. He laughed and waved before turning around. He had to be on his way, and so he picked up his pace as he walked.

  15. Breeze watched Clarex go, and sighed. He felt obligated to do what happened next. He opened his menu and sent Calrex a friend request, saying, "I hope I spelled his name right." He smirked and turned, deciding that he should be on his way. It was nice to meet Calrex, and Breeze hoped they would meet again.

As he continued along, his thoughts traveled back into the past, two weeks earlier. He had found a player cornered by several others, and had peacefully managed to keep her from being harmed. The players that had cornered her swore that they would find and kill Breeze later.

He had thought nothing of it, but now he wasn't so sure. He would have to watch his back from now on.

  16. Breeze stared at the player, almost as if asking him if he were crazy. Why would he introduce himself to a complete stranger, with no clue who they were? The player's positive attitude got the best of him, though, and he sighed before saying, "Call me Breeze. And it is a... um... pleasure?"

He grimaced. Even if he didn't talk much, that was a terrible introduction. He looked away, hoping that something would catch his eye.

Unfortunately, nothing did. It seemed as if he was forced into this conversation.

  17. Breeze nearly jumped out of his skin when the player spoke to him. What had motivated the player to do so? He swallowed, and then attempted to speak. Only a faint whisper came out. Coughing, he said a little louder, "Um, yeah, it is a good day... and no, I know where I am going." He hoped that had come across loud enough.

He rubbed the back of his neck, relieving tension, and thought to himself: why am I even talking to him? I don't normally talk to others in such a casual manner. As long as he is not rude, I guess it will be fine.

He placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, something he found quite comforting, even if he doesn't like fighting. He started to think of his first attempted battle. It had been against a boar. He could not bring himself to harm it, even if he knew it was digital.

  18. Breeze continued to walk, and found himself approaching another player. He gave no thought to the player, and continued along. To his surprise, he found himself walking alongside the player, just several yards away. Perhaps they had a similar route in mind? Breeze glanced the player up and down and noted that he was considerably stronger than himself.

He looked around, ensuring that there was enough noise to cover his voice, and said to himself, "Perhaps I could match his strength someday." But that was highly unlikely. Breeze smirked, it was also unlikely that he would ever see him again, knowing just how many players there are in SAO.

Breeze remembered the parents from earlier, with tears in their eyes, and laughed aloud at the thought of them going to say thank you, but having nobody there to thank. It was a fitting job, helping others.

  19. Breeze roamed the streets of the Starting City, looking for something to do. Upon finding a crying child, he approached her and said quietly, "Hey. What's wrong?" She just sniffled and looked at him, which made him want to give her a hug. He frowned, if she would not tell him what was wrong, he could not help her. He sat down next to her, saying, "Are you lost? Come on, please answer."

This time, the girl nodded, and Breeze continued, "OK, do you have any parents here? I can help you look for them." The young girl nodded again, and Breeze laughed. "Come on," he said, "where did you seem them last?"

With that, he stood up and offered his hand to her, helping her up. She quickly led him to the center of town. Looking around, he saw clusters of people. But two in particular caught his attention. A man and woman rushed towards Breeze, tears in their eyes. The girl took off towards them, and Breeze simply nodded, knowing his job was done.

He turned around and began to walk away, a grin on his face. That was the fourth person he had helped in three weeks.

    » Age: 15

Face Claim: Run from Akame ga Kill

» About: Andre was born into a decent family that had just moved to Japan because his father had a job oppurtunity in a programming company. During most of his pre teen years, he lived a pretty normal life. He pursued education in the hopes of becoming more intelligent than his father, who had been known as a child prodigy, but quickly came to realize that it was not possible unless he acquired more material that was not found in school. Unfortunately, around the time he turned eleven, his father introduced him to gaming. It was instant addiction, and he quickly forgot about being better than his father. Life continued like this for several more years when his father brought home a game and the tech required to play said game. His father explained that he had been working at the company that was the source of the game, which was called Sword Art Online. His father showed him how to set everything up, and congradulated him on his academic excellence. Andre proceeded to begin playing SAO, and was quickly trapped in the game.

    » Virtues:
Cautious - Andre is hesitant to do anything that could put him in danger. He will think things out before he does them, so as to insure his safety. This trait sourced from other games he played, in which he quickly learned that running into dangerous situations can wind up leading to death.

Compassion - Andre, upon entering SAO, quickly realized that everybody was struggling with the same thing, escaping the game. He helps others if he can, and is always trying to be aware of those in need. He is willing to make his life miserable if it is to help others.

Passive - Andre is a very nonviolent person. He will avoid combat, and tends to be quite gentle. This is because he is afraid to harm or kill others, fearing the judgement that might fall upon him later in time if he does do something wrong. Although, as he mentioned in Helping Out he is willing to protect himself, but only if necessary.

    » Flaws:

Timid - Andre is able to readily help others, that much is true, but is quite shy and quiet. He avoids introducing himself, and can sometimes be hard to understand because he is so quiet. This negatively affects his communication skills, and makes it hard for Andre to make longtime friends. In recent events, Andre has spoken to others without shying away, but only when they spoke to him first. Instead of avoiding talking at all, he now only refuses to initiate a conversation, but will talk to others if they talk to him first. He is still quiet when he speaks, but not so quiet that he cannot be understood. With those that he has befriended (or have befriended him), he still will not initiate contact, which could lead to him being unable to get assistance if/when he needs it.

Vain - Andre is extremely sure that he is attractive. He believes that women (and possibly men) find him attractive, but he is too shy to talk to them, even if they approach him still refusing to initiate contact. He has always thought this, and always will think this, regardless of what he may hear others say about him.

Clumsy - Andre is a freakish klutz, and will screw up most any task he is assigned. He is known to get in the way of others, even though he tries his best not to. This particular flaw has led to him getting into small fights with others, in which he allows himself to be pushed around and/or beat up, being too passive to fight back.
