  1. Rolling her eyes, Carmine huffed loudly. "Yeah yeah." She didn't really want anyone to know her name just because she didn't want to be called it, but Jomei was an honest guy - so far, at least - so she felt like she could trust him for the time being. Keeping a positive expression on her face, something extremely hard to do, Carmine felt guilt surge through her body when Jomei didn't react as well as she'd though he would. She hadn't meant to make anyone feel bad, all she wanted to do was get her feelings out there for once - to somebody who would actually listen to her.

"Hey, wait" Carmine assisted Jomei's hands returning to the table, squeezing them gently while keeping his hands in her's. "at least you tried, right? You're no Prince Charming... but... I'm no Cinderella, so maybe we can help each other out with this communication thing. Sound alright?" She returned her hands to her lap when they started to get warm, no need to get lovey-dovey so soon. "Ugh. You're lucky you don't know what I'm talking about. Sorry for being so emotional; I'm the worst sometimes." Waving a hand in the air, seeming to be carefree, she giggled like a schoolgirl when Jomei diverted his attention elsewhere. "I'm over here, honey. Or are you blushing again?"

[i'm sick dun judge me bby </3 posted just for u anyways]

  2. "Huh?" She backed up, gripping the sides of the seat of her chair when Jomei said her name. "How did y-OH! Hey..." Sticking her bottom lip out in a pout, Carmine crossed her arms over her chest and turned her head. She'd just mentally slapped herself for being such a ditz. "Whatever. I only had to change, like, 2 letters of my real name anyways. You better stay quiet or..." She slid a finger across her neck. "you'll get rekt." Really, she never liked her name especially since she didn't look anything like a "Carmen". That just didn't suit her enough, so she thought. "That's great, Nick." She stared at Jomei with pure focus, chewing on her lip before coming to a conclusion that his name was fitting. "Huh. I don't think my name works for me but your's is perfect~ Nick, yeah...Yeah I like it a lot." The twenty-six year old began speaking to herself in a quiet tone though she was complimenting her friend across the table.

Taking another drink of her margarita, Carmine bit the straw hard at Jomei's next words. She furrowed her eyebrows and let go of the straw, swallowing before speaking. "You like that I'm fake around everybody? Or what you see in me that's different from others?" Her tone of voice reached that of an offended woman - and she was, Carmine absolutely did not want Jomei to like the fact that she wasn't herself around just anyone. She was that perfect girl who's always happy and outing and-it got extremely tiring playing pretend all the time. "Sorry." Propping her chin up on a hand, she forcefully smiled and returned her brows to a normal position; running a free hand through crimson hair. "I'm not trying to be mean. I just don't know why you like me so much when I act like all my princess friends."

  3. "True, true. It's kinda like getting dirt on someone you want to blackmail... except you're not doing something evil like that. Just giving materials, and having something to back you up if you need an item pronto in the future." Carmine had to think her explanation through seeing as Calrex wasn't some kind of evil mastermind but had his very own effective system that did benefit him if you thought about it - thus she spoke slowly but seemed to get a grip on things with the last few words.

"Ah~ You see, I don't think I'm gonna get Night Vision. Unless I go on the tenth floor I don't see myself using it. Maybe I'll consider it when I get the SP to work on my build. So, how does seeing "through the landscape" even work? How does it help you? Gahh~ Sorry for hounding you with so many questions again. I'll be sure to repay you one of these days for my never-ending voice." Carmine slipped in a little joke within all the mayhem of speech, feeling that a little lightheartedness should be thrown in just to calm both the players a tad bit.

Feeling for her dagger as Calrex mentioned the weapon-type, she nodded and took mental notes. "Yeah, yeah. I was gonna go for Light Armor, but I'mma invest in those two mobility skills first cause I wanna get plenty of COL first." She turned her head at the sound of an inventory opening that wasn't her's, buttons pinging - an annoying noise she'd gotten used to - and grinned upon seeing Calrex's expression. "Woah! I wouldn't wanna mess with you that's for sure. High damage and the ultimate defense of a tank? Remind me not to get on your bad side."

  4. "Yeah, I know. No need to remind me of how great I am." She stood before a casually comfortable Lowenthal, arms crossed under her chest. It wasn't cold as it would be in the real world because then her clothes would be wet; now they merely had pieces of snow stuck to the beginner's cloth. No big deal. "So you didn't give it to yourself, huh? Must be serious business then." Nodding, with an expression that mimicked a serious one, Carmine flipped her crimson hair idly before speaking again. "I wonder what mine would be. Maybe Miss Awesome or something like that. Are you a lone wolf type?" Suddenly, she switched the topic from her to him as another question formed in her mind.

  5. "No problemo~ I'm just being honest." She curled the ends of her lips up slightly, enough to form a soft grin as the pairs' eyes met. Really, she was just saying everything that came to mind, reacting however she wanted because that's who Carmine was. Not to mention how comfortable she felt around Jomei to just be herself which was fairly simple - though that didn't mean she was still worrying about herself, if she were good enough and etc.

Carmine rolled her green eyes, positioning herself the same way Jomei had: leaning forward on the table. With a small squint of the eyes - mainly so she could focus on Jomei better, and seem to be as well - she tilted her head in a playful fashion. "Then maybe you should start "trying" again, eh?" When Jomei chuckled, she couldn't help but let out a short, low sound of laughter in response because such things had always been contagious to her. Her response fit right in with the next; it seemed a small game had formed between the two. "Good."

"You're supposed to know what I mean, silly." Carmine paused, one end of her mouth twitching downwards. "Look. I mean... you listen, and you're sweet, and I've never met a friend who could just... Sense that I wasn't being honest. Nobody would ever wait and see if Carmen is okay they'd just go with what she said and think that's the truth. On the inside I'm wayyyy different; and I think you saw that even if just for like, a few seconds. Capeesh?" In the midst of her rant, Carmine hadn't even realized she used her real name instead of the username she'd become so accustomed to. Not that the twenty-six year old cared at the moment. There were other things she had on her mind that swirled around so much they caused a throbbing headache.

    [all for you ;3 <3]

  6. "Really? Hmm..." She rubbed her chin as if she had a beard, shifting green orbs back and forth as if she were in suspicion before settling her attention back on Jomei. "Must be something wrong with people around us if you haven't been complimented. Everyone you know must be dumb or secretly blind or something. That's the only explanation." Jomei was a great person in Carmine's eyes, and though she was acting silly as usual she was honestly surprised he hadn't been flirted with... or at least complimented lately at that.

"Wha-What? No way!" Carmine threw her hands down on the table after waving them in the air, but not loudly she was just reacting in a shocked fashion. "I like it when you try to flirt. I'm totally cool with that if you are." She did like hearing all of these compliments from a man she already deemed a good friend of her's, it was a nice change of pace from what she was used to. "You're awesome... But~ Nope. Not at all." Carmine smirked, shrugging in the process. "You're gonna have to really up your game, Jomei, if that's all you've got for me."

Still a little dizzy from her laughter that'd proven to be too much to handle, as she was now leaning back in her seat while clutching her stomach, Carmine stuck her tongue out at Jomei. "...It's complicated. Maybe you'll figure out when you're older." She joked, feeling rather humorous now, raising a brow when Jomei closed his eyes. Quickly she moved forward to pull a move of her own; after all Jomei got in a few moves himself, so why couldn't she? He seemed to be surprised, but obviously prepared for her declaration of a blushing war because Jomei didn't budge but only sent her an intimidating expression. "I see how it is." Carmine grinned evilly, winking at Jomei before moving back comfortably in her seat.

Nervously tapping nails on the surface of the table, Carmine twitched her lips into a weak grin. Reaching for her drink, Carmine paused when he touched her wrist which instantly became incredibly warm upon contact. She opened her mouth to speak, to say something, but Jomei had already beaten her to the action so Carmine simply closed her mouth and listened to what he had to say. "I believe you." Staring into his eyes for a split-second, Carmine let out a shaky breath when Jomei let go and finally took that drink she'd been wanting. Licking her lips shorty afterwards, Carmine played with the straw in her hand while resting her chin on the other. "Don't wanna bring down the mood or anything... but you're the first person to understand? Does that make sense? I dunno, sometimes I pretend but you-you didn't ignore me or anything. You're different, aren't ya?"

  7. Carmine was... excited? She hadn't been to a party since the beginning of Sword Art Online, so her reaction to the invite was a mixture of happiness and remorse. In the end, however, Carmine was sure she was going to Floor 11 despite it being a long way because on the inside she was a party animal. After putting on her bikini made by Lowenthal (funny cause it was for his party...) she headed for the highest Floor available in-game; astonishing, really, how far the front-liners were getting but how much they had yet to accomplish. Suicide, to wait out the game being finished, had definitely crossed Carmine's mind but the need to help overpowered that tug pushing against her heart.

The beach: When was the last time she'd been to one? Scratch that. When's the last time Carmine had a real vacation? She no longer counted being stuck in a game as vacation, and her mind wondered to her like pre-game. Geez. She really hadn't realized her freedom was taken away by work until now. Her worries disappeared, though, as Carmine saw the group of people that'd already gathered. Beautiful. "Hey everyone!" Carmine shouted, clapping her hands together. "Happy birthday Lowenthal. Man, you're getting old." She joked, winking at her guild leader before standing next to Jomei. Though she knew he'd be there, seeing Jomei raised her spirits. "What's up?"

  9. "Right. Well, I'm sure you'd be able to see if a friend was dead. Why wouldn't the game allow that if it had a monument that did the same? I do know for sure that you can see the well-being of any player if you're in a party with them; a friend showed me that." Carmine thought that a friend's list would most definitely tell you, or at least cross out, if a pal of your's happened to become deceased while in-game. Well, that would be nice at least. Very informational and helpful especially if you assumed your friend had simply gone missing. Then she remembered Piera, an already good friend that informed her that you could see the HP and overall status of anyone in your party; thus why she had been in a party with her mate in the first place. "Luckily I don't know, and hopefully won't have to find out if that's the case anytime soon." Carmine added, making it obvious she wouldn't want to go through the mental pain of suffering from loss in-game.

"Ah~ So more work? Just like level raising outside of a profession. Yay." The twenty-six year old didn't sound in the least bit of amused, but she kept a lighthearted tone and smirked to indicate she was just playing around. In the meantime, that is. She followed Calrex down the stairs, keeping up with him as the two walked in-sync. Back to scenery she knew as if it were the back of her hand, being away from the monument and subject of death, Carmine now felt at ease. "Oh really? Smart move. I would probably ask for money but you seem like a "nice guy" so I can understand why. Helping out is just your thing, eh?" Moving a hand to idly twirl a piece of crimson hair, Carmine kept a teasing smirk painted across her face. Calrex just seemed like one of those people who couldn't hold back from helping anyone out, hopefully he wouldn't... or hasn't gotten walked all over. "Search and Detect seems helpful. Any skills you recommend grabbing in the future for myself?"

  10. What Emblem said next really surprised Carmine... emphasis on "really". How could someone who seemed so sweet a second ago change like that? No... he was still sweet, Carmine just got thrown off after hearing something like that. "Scared me? No. Surprised me? Yes." For someone who was extremely close to her family and had never thought of even harming a hair on the heads of her siblings', Carmine couldn't truly comprehend why exactly anybody would hurt a family member no matter the circumstances. "Emblem. Look at me." She frowned, brows furrowed, emerald orbs glaring in his direction. "He was probably scared, afraid. Your brother didn't know what to do, and I'm sure he didn't want to see you die or carry your weight on his shoulders so he left in a panic. Are you willing to kill anyone who hurts you? I'm going to tell you: your idea to kill a living, breathing soul is idiotic. Nobody deserves to die. Not anyone in this world because you can fix a broken heart but you can't bring back the dead..." She softened her glare and shifted green eyes to the ground. "H-how could you hurt a person so close to you? How..." Carmine blinked a few times to rid of any tears attempting to free themselves, running a tongue over dry lips. "How about we change the subject, huh? I don't wanna be the person to talk about this to you."

  11. It seemed that Thorrissia planned to stay on her feet as well, both female's eyes glued to the ground beneath them as they hiked up and down bumpy trails in search of some boars to rek. "You're right, it kinda is." Though Carmine would easily know the answer to her question anytime of any day, if you really pondered upon the question for a long enough time more than a few answers would pop up, leaving you to pick out only one; and the most important answer, that is. "Yeah... Going home would be nice, eh?" Her voice far from gloomy, Carmine still was confused on whether or not she wanted to get out and go home or stay for a little while longer. After all she'd found people she really liked and they were much different from her old friends, better than them honestly. Losing all her friends now would be hard to get over.

"Huh?" The twenty-six year old's head perked up as she heard the word of the mob they'd been looking for. "Perfect. Everyone loves bacon~" Carmine rubbed her hands together excitedly, jumping giddily from foot to foot. She equipped her Pugio dagger with the flick of a finger and then pulled the small, but deadly blade from its leather protection around her waist. "If I may?" Carmine took a look at Thorrissia and winked before rushing towards the boar to unleash her wrath on the poor "piggy", leaving her companion behind to catch up.

  12. "I'll be here anytime for you darling, even if we just met." Carmine promised, squeezing just a little bit tighter before Emblem scooted away. Gosh, Carmine just wanted to stay like that forever; holding Emblem was the best feeling she'd ever felt. The moment reminded her of when she used to take care of her younger siblings, and comfort them when they got hurt or began to cry for whatever reason. She always had a knack for being good with children, but that didn't come instinctively, the trait took years to develop though now it stuck with Carmine in whatever she did. "Purpose?" The twenty-six year old was a bit thrown off by this question, and leaned back using her arms for support in thought, her eyes glancing elsewhere for a few moments before returning to Emblem's. What a difficult question to answer, while at the same time Carmine knew what to say almost instantly.

"Well... I don't wanna die. But more importantly, I don't want my friends to die. I'll put them before myself if I need to." She paused and thought a bit longer before speaking again, tugging on a strand of crimson hair. "There's helping, too. Even though I hate working when it's not needed, if it meant helping people who were like me to realize that we need to get out of the game ASAP then I'd gladly grab a profession. Still thinking about which one I want, though." The corners of Carmine's lips twitched, and she didn't know whether or not to be happy or sad at the fact that she had a goal, but had to be stuck in a video game while her body wasted away. "Er... What about you?" She quickly said to get her minds off of confusing things. "We're almost the same, right? We want to protect. Anything else you had in mind?"

  13. Carmine hadn't expected to touch this boy with her words, and she regretted asking about his well-being. Surely she should've known asking about such a sensitive topic would bring back unpleasant memories stored in the back of the mind, wished to be forgotten; but no, she asked and it was too late to take anything back. Time to take responsibility for once in her life, she wasn't that immature woman from the beginning of the game anymore. "Hey, hey." She put a hand under Emblem's chin, mimicking the actions she performed with Scarlett_, and lifted his head so his eyes would meet her emerald orbs. "Never fake a smile, let me know how you're really feeling. I used to do that all the time, and it never did any good. I know things don't always look up but I can assure you people are always fighting for our safety, to get out of this death game. Now remember, like you just said, there will always be someone you want to protect and that's enough to keep anyone going. Even I, the laziest person you could ever meet, feel the need to work for once." Even at a time like this, Carmine still ended her speech with a lighthearted joke.

She held out her arms, heart swelling, and without letting him have a say in anything Carmine embraced Emblem in a loose, affectionate hug; while being careful not to bump into or squish Aisu. Well, she really couldn't help herself and also felt like this was the right time to do so.

  14. Surprised by the noise which came from the woman next to her, Carmine shrugged and headed out into the rain without a care as soon as her "companion" said so. Though she didn't feel like getting soaked at the moment, getting back to the Starting City would be much better than being out in the fields like this, right in the middle of Floor 1's map. Unlike the other's shoes, Carmine boots hardly sunk in the mud though they did create a loud squishing noise that made Carmine want to crinkle her nose. "I hate that noise." She commented, stopping for a split second to ease her ears before beginning to walk again. As the twenty-six year old paused, she noticed the other female having trouble as she got stuck in place. Stifling back a giggle with a hand to her mouth, Carmine raised a brow and smirked shortly after the quiet laughter faded. "You sure you don't want to take up that offer now?" Instantly, she frowned and rolled her eyes feeling bad for the other. "C'mon. There's no reason for me not to do it. What if I promise not to drop you?" Really, Carmine truly wanted to help out and if that took convincing the other than she would do so. "Also, we never got each other's name. Mine's Carmine. You?"

    *short and late post, sorry

  15. As Emblem blushed, Carmine felt the need to hug him and hold the boy in her arms forever; but sadly that'd be really weird on her side and probably extremely awkward for the other. Seriously, there needed to be more children in Sword Art Online that walked around town so Carmine could say hello and coo over how cute they were. "Emblem and Aisu? That's different. You two seem like a good team, I bet you kick butts all the time." Carmine brushed a few bangs out of her face and took a good look at the person and familiar before her. Was he all alone? The thought hadn't crossed Carmine until now, but she wondered if he needed a friend, or someone close, or just anybody; she couldn't stand that a kid had to go through all of this, how sad. Yet, he seemed to be managing just fine all alone and seemed content with life. At least that was the case, though Carmine still frowned.

"My name's Carmine, nice to meet you sweetie~" She reached out to ruffle his hair gently, before returning her arm to her side. "Dang. Your gear is much better than mine. Isn't that funny? You must be tougher than I thought." Carmine pulled out her beginner's dagger and set the weapon next to Emblem's sword. "I didn't want to fight with a sword for some reason, daggers just seemed more my style." Chewing on her bottom lip, Carmine glanced elsewhere before speaking. "Are you... um... doing okay? I'm not underestimating you or anything because of age, I just felt like asking would be appropriate. Tell me how Aincrad has been so far for such an adorable boy."

  16. "Be my bodyguard, then?" Carmine asked, holding out her pinkie. "Promise to protect me, my darling Piera; for without you I would surely perish." She stuck her tongue out, something she did after teasing people or when others teased her. A silly habit she'd picked up from when she used to play with her younger sister, but an action that surely expressed her current feelings. Waving off the small exchange between the two, Carmine felt nothing towards Piera that would make her angry just because a simple party change. "I don't mind.

Not surprised that Piera had been staying behind, much like her, due to their mishap and first meeting in the game, Carmine still felt glad that the other woman understood how she felt and why she was doing what she was. Without leveling up you had less HP and without hunting you had no COL which practically rendered one useless in the game of Sword Art Online. Really, Carmine had no choice but to begin working at least a little bit to ensure she could protect herself and loved ones if need be; even if she only lasted a few minutes, it'd be worth every second. "Right. Boars have become annoying, though, I feel pretty glad when I show 'em who's boss." She joked lightheartedly, attempting to lift the mood even if only slightly.

Raising both brows, Carmine smirked at the way Piera reacted to her question. "I can tell you really love him. It's nice to see love that isn't temporary, or with little kids who think they're ready for relationships." She adored Piera, and felt as if she were smart enough to pick the right person for her. And judging be the way she acted a few moments ago, Carmine wouldn't be surprised if Lee were her soulmate. "Nah. I haven't been with someone in like... forever... and I don't want to either. I'm done with that stuff for now, though you could say I'm getting "back in the game" because I swear this guy, Jomei dunno if you know him, is flirting with me but I think he's just a softie so it's whatever. Pretty lame of me, right? I'm way too old to be single." The thought of Jomei made her smile, just because he was always trying to make her blush but always failed. Still, she wasn't planning to be with anybody for a long time since her heart was still in the process of healing. Though, she hid this behind a smile because nobody had to know about something so embarrassing.

  17. "Nonsense. I doubt that." Carmine waved a hand in the air lazily, being someone who did judge herself but never when it came to rushing into anything. While doing so, she simply ran headfirst into battle and went on from there the best she could. No thoughts, no insecurities, just being free to do whatever you pleased. "We're taking it." Carmine told the man as she accepted the girl's party request. "Alright then, good luck. I'll let those noobs know..." He muttered the last sentence, swiftly turning on his heel before quickly pacing out of the cafe as if he were in a rush. "What's a NPC got to do?" Carmine joked and shrugged the action off and turned to her new companion. "What's your name, girly?" The twenty-six year old asked, though frowned. "And why were you crying?" Bending over slightly, Carmine held out a hand and lifted the female's chin so their eyes met. "You should tell people about your problems or soon you'll be hiding them from everybody, you don't want emotions to be bottled up because you hide them. I know all too well about that..." Carmine chewed her bottom lip, and shifted her eyes elsewhere before letting go and returning to her full height, arms now crossed under her chest. Honestly, though she vowed to show her emotions instead of hiding them not too long ago, she sometimes felt the urge to and it seemed the player before her did the same which was never a good thing at all.

"We should go soon." The woman commented, patting one of the the girl's shoulders gently before heading towards the entrance. She opened the door and motioned for the other to follow her outside.

  18. "Just checking on you is all. Did I startle you?" Carmine sat back and onto the grass, crossing her legs still next to the boy. He seeemd a bit afraid by her looming presence, not like she could blame him; she'd be scared waking up to herself as well. Forgetting that she might seem a little overbearing, Carmine sat back and put some space in between the two in case the child became frightened or felt the need to attack due to her being so close to him while he slept. "Sorry. I just wanted to know the name of such a cutie~" The woman cooed, shifting her green orbs to his familiar. Almost as adorable as the boy, she tilted her head curiously and played with a strand of crimson hair, pointing to the dragon with the other hand. "Can I know their name too? I really do love your familiar, much better looking than the ones I've seen. Not to mention how awesome dragons are." Though she was mature, Carmine knew how to bring out her inner-child to seem amusing in the presence of younger people. And well, she wasn't lying. Dragons were pretty dang cool in the movies.

  19. Things weren't really looking up for Carmine as of late. Though she'd been fairly excited to be trapped in a game in the beginning, now she wasn't and realized how bad things truly were. How awful this situation was, one she'd decided was vacation for so long. Well, it wasn't vacation at all and here she was now, changed all because of a silly game. Really, Carmine would rather had never gone through this so she could still be that oblivious woman like before. Oh well. One thing that got Carmine's mind off of things was the beautiful locations that Aincrad held; mainly the High Fields of Crossing. It may be more popular for dates, but could just as well be used as a relaxation zone.

In hopes of letting off some steam, not really feeling up to contacting any of her friends for the time being not that she had anything against doing so, Carmine trekked through the fields idly loving some time to herself. Being extremely tall, Carmine found herself tripping over things all the time (and people, if you counted Thorrissia) so it wasn't surprising when she almost trampled a young boy. He seemed to be asleep, and Carmine was a footstep away from crushing him. Literally. Luckily, she paused mid-step and backed away in order not to hurt the stranger. Not being able to resist such adorableness, Carmine crawled down onto her knees and leaned over the boy, poking his cheek gently. Really, children were her absolute weakness and since not many pre-teens or those younger than that had encountered Carmine she definitely had to meet this one. "Hey, hey wake up." The twenty-six year old whispered, curling her lips up in eagerness to meet whomever this was. She might not be as fun as she used to, being mature now-a-days, Carmine still knew how to be entertaining especially around younger players.

  20. "Okay. Just like what we talked about before, all professions are given at least one special thing for themselves that no other profession can have. I see how the system is balanced out." Carmine nodded, understanding enhancements much better now. Good thing she had Calrex to teach her about these before she actually used said enhancers or else something would've been messed up or done at the wrong time. "Phew." Carmine huffed, a few butterflies released from her stomach. Not being able to close up the shop would prove a problem and it seemed that the game creator thought so too, lucky for her and those whom needed to do so as well. If that hadn't been worked into Sword Art Online, Carmine was sure that an update would ensure so especially if there were more people who questioned about the same thing while learning about and considering their profession.

"So material hunting is needed, huh? I guess I should start collecting some time. Are materials difficult to find?" Carmine loved to rush into the fields and look for adventure but if searching for a MAT here and there was a difficult job than she'd wait a while before performing the job. It would be boring, unlike hunting which was easy to begin and amusing to do. She had nothing against going into the fields, but being immature working was something Carmine obviously didn't want to do other than gaining a profession-a job-which seemed entertaining in its own way. "In a profession are you limited to making certain things? I don't mean like a blacksmith can make heavy armor and a tailor can make light armor; I'm talking about when I begin a job. Am I only aloud to make certain items at first? You keep mentioning once I begin so just wondering."

A frown etched itself onto Carmine's face at the mention of what exactly the monument was. She hadn't known until now, and sort of wished she hadn't learned about it either. "That... that sounds sad." Carmine muttered once the two reached the top of the stairs. Her eyes wondered as Calrex explained the monument to her. To think of such a thing was a little stressful and depressing, not as serious as the location was sad. Or so that's what she thought. "I understand. I'll do the same, def don't want this on my mind 24/7 or even anytime of the day. At least it let's us know what's happened instead of leaving us to wonder. There's something good that comes out of this in the end." The twenty-six year old covered her frown with a smile and lifted her voice so any mood downing would be hidden from the words. "I still don't believe players actually die, they just slip into a coma until the games end. Programming couldn't possibly kill someone. Still something that shouldn't be joked about, though, I can agree with that. Nobody deserves to be deprived of possible fun over the thought of being dead." In her heart she felt bad for those who'd perished within the game, though everyone was making process so far and doing the best they could. There was still, and always hope for everyone.

  21. Carmine nodded, and giggled lightheartedly as Jomei agreed with her title-giving for the both of them. As a duo there definately wouldn't be a thing that could take them down, being so tough and all. In reality, though, that's exactly what Carmine believed and she'd rush straight into whatever Jomei did following right beside him all the way; not following behind like a lost puppy. "I would love that... Heat is overrated." She commented, wishing she could've lived in Ireland, or anywhere else with cool temperatures for that matter, instead of North America. Jomei's expression seemed pretty content, thus Carmine let him have his little moment alone and refrained from saying anything until he spoke again. "Right? Why didn't the lady just have the package dropped off at her door? I thought that's how everyone had it done." Carmine joked, sighing shortly after. "A day with you? That's not so bad~" Running the back of her hand against her forehead, holding it there to keep the sun out of her eyes, Carmine found it harder to keep her eyes open so she just squinted as the two carried on.

Even as the cloud came closer to the duo, Carmine was still excited as ever and running on pure adrenaline. "Hmm? Oh yeah I've never been here before now that I think about it. Like I said I'm not a huge fan of heat so you can probably see why." She quickly thought of a reasonable answer though the reason why was most likely because she wasn't one to travel very far from the first floor much. That was bound to change sometime, however. "What I'm excited for is everything! Fun adventures are hard to come by after all."

Out of reaction to Jomei's next reply, Carmine stuck her tongue out. "You can try." She knew this was true but if anything were to happen then she'd be first to jump in and help out no matter the consequences. Carmine hadn't expected his teasing attitude to change to quickly, but then again Jomei seemed to be a softy so she wasn't too surprised. "Anytime~ I know we got each other's backs." Whistling surprised Carmine, the loud noise causing her to jump. She turned to peer over her shoulder, eyes widened. "Wh-How... Cooooool." Carmine moved over to Jomei's side once more and watched in awe as he moved his familiar to safety, adoring the animal. "Man, the way that just happened made you like ten times more awesome. Neat~"

Suddenly, sand began to blow about in the air and Carmine covered her eyes while pursing her lips to avoid any sand entering these sensitive regions. The desert storms certainly were a pester and setback for their journey. "Me? I'm fine, more concerned about you." Her words came out parted as she wished to keep sand out of her mouth, and from behind closed teeth. Still in such weather, Carmine still joked around. "I have sand everywhere now, though, and it isn't the best feeling."
