(That's cool with me)
Although Chiyo already knew his name, Mack didn't, so he introduced himself as Mack. He offered his hand for a hang shake. Chiyo shook his huge hand. He had a really... firm grip. She guessed that was only to be expected. Then, the black haired girl proposed that they could all go and eat together and discuss where they'll be going and a battle plan. She then introduced herself as Starrine. That seemed like a fitting name for the girl. She actually kind of looked like a Starrine. Of course Chiyo didn't know of any Starrines but if there was anyone named Starrine, now Chiyo would always imagine her to look like that girl. Mack said that they split the Col evenly among all of them. They could keep the crafting materials, minus the ones needed to make their weapons. He said that it was too late to go hunting and asked if they were going to have dinner, or just meet up with each other in the morning. "I'm fine with dinner." Chiyo said.

Hmm, no straight swords for sale. Only two-handed battle axes for sale, the poinard, and the clawed warhammer. Yeah, those weren't any items that interested Chiyo. He said that if she went hunting though, he can craft her something better then the starting weapon. That would be nice. He said that there were no guarantees of success though since he was only a beginners smither. "It's fine." Chiyo replied. Apparently this man's name was Mack. He invited them both to go farming (for experience she guessed) in the morning and said to meet him there at 6:00 in the morning. Hmm, 6:00... she could probably wake up by then. I mean, she was never a morning person or anything but she wouldn't mind getting up early in the morning. "Really? Cool, I'm in." Chiyo said. "Oh, my name's Rainia." Chiyo said to Mack and she guessed also to the black haired girl. She didn't catch her name.

Golden said that a weapon didn't really matter that much, what she would need was a decent amount of evasion stats so that she could easily dodge enemy attacks. He said that a straight sword was a decent choice but a dagger could have been a batter choice but then again, weapons didn't really matter much. Xion seemed to say that a straight sword was well balanced and such and since it was 1 handed, she would be able to equip a shield at the same time. That was good too, she supposed. Another man seemed to come over. They apparently knew each other. "You guys know a lot of people, don't you." Chiyo said, just merely making an observation. Also, Xion said that he had a shop in town where he could make a better weapon for her, for a price of course. "And yeah, once I get some Col, that would be great!" Chiyo said to Xion.

Xion's eyes seemed to widen after she said that this was her first day. He asked if she's even heard about the people dying here. Chiyo's eyes widened. "They die?! Like, in real life?" Chiyo exclaimed, her eyes widening too. "There hasn't been any news of this where I live... Even the no log out thing..." Chiyo said with a frown. Golden said that they could probably help her get her started since it was her first day. He asked if she had any questions and that either he or Xion was probably experienced enough to answer them. Xion suggested that they do some hunting. Hmm, hunting... She could try that. It would be a good start for her. "Well, I do have one question. If I wanted to be a fighter who mainly works on speed, was a straight sword a good choice?" Chiyo asked.

The two of them seemed puzzled that she didn't have a lot of gear or equipment with her. They were wondering what she has been doing all this time. "Well, you see, I sort of just got here. This is my first day in SAO." Chiyo said. Was it abnormal for this to be her first day playing SAO while so many others have been trapped in this game longer then she has? Hey, at least they said that if she needed help, he and Golden would be happy to provide it.

Xion said that he's been stuck just as long as anyone else. That didn't really help her much. He complemented her name. Of course it wasn't her real name but it was still nice to get a compliment. Xion seemed to look past, over her head to something. Chiyo turned to see a dark haired man waving to Xion. Apparently his name was golden and evidently the two of them knew each other. Golden was a good friend of Xion's. Xion introduced Chiyo as Rainia. Rainia smiled and gave a small wave to Golden. "Nice to meet you Golden." Chiyo spoke.

Chiyo sighed. This was going to be a long time in SAO after all. She just had to accept it. She hasn't been here all that long but what she did know was that she would be here a long time because it would be a very long time before she could make it to the 100th floor, let alone beat all the other floors. Chiyo's hand landed on the hilt of her straight bladed sword and she felt momentary relief. As long as she had a straight sword, she felt secure. It was the weapon she was best at after all. Hmm, Chiyo's eyes fell on a blacksmith's shop. Maybe she could browse around the shop and see if she could maybe order something and pay for it later. When she entered, she heard a man saying something about battle axes and not being able to craft armor so he wouldn't be able to help her. Chiyo frowned. So that meant that he wasn't able to make any straight swords she guessed. Once it would seem like the two of them stopped their conversation, Chiyo would ask, "Hey, excuse me but do you sell any straight swords?" She was hoping that they did. Even if she didn't have the money to cover it, she may be able to put it on lay away or something...

The blonde haired man said to stick with other people and that there were strength in numbers. "Strength in numbers..." Chiyo muttered to herself. She would remember that. The man introduced himself as Xion and asked who she was. "I'm Ch- oh right, can't reveal your real names." Chiyo laughed to herself at her stupid mistake. "You can call me Rainia." she said. "So, how long have you been stuck in Sword Art Online?" Chiyo asked Xion curious as to how long he has managed to survive in here.

Chiyo sighed as she heard the words that came out of the blonde haired man's mouth. There were none... no ways... no way to log out of this system. He said that it wasn't easy to deal with and that he spent a good portion of his day of his first day on the verge of tears. She felt his hand on her shoulder. She took a deep breath in and out. "Is there any trick to surviving?" Chiyo asked, hoping that she could survive until this game was done, until somebody cleared the 100th floor or until whatever happened. Maybe if she was lucky then she could even be the one to clear the 100th floor. It was highly unlikely but she could still hope.

Chiyo looked to the blonde haired man who asked if she was okay. He said that it wasn't unusual and that some people were still feeling like this. Chiyo couldn't lie and say that she was fine. That just wasn't in her nature. She wasn't alright. She was terrified. She was sad. She wanted to get home. She didn't want to die here. "Honestly, I'm not okay. I had no idea that SAO would do this. I don't want it to be this way... Do you know why the log out isn't working?" she asked looking to the blonde haired man, her brown eyes showing that she was hoping for an answer.

As Chiyo backed away from her game menu, it disappeared. No, no this couldn't be happening. No, she wasn't stuck in this game, right? RIGHT?! Yeah... this was probably a bug, a glitch in the game. Besides, they wouldn't sell this game if it would make people unable to log out, right? Chiyo couldn't believe this. She was stuck in this game. You know what, this was probably a dream. Yeah, that was right. All a dream and if she pinched herself, she would wake up. Chiyo pinched herself but nothing, nothing happened. She didn't feel any pain. She wasn't in her bedroom. She was still in this Virtual Reality called Sword Art Online. Chiyo's hand fell to her hip where she had her straight sword in her scabbard. She breathed a small sigh of relief. At least I have something to protect me with Chiyo tought to herself. Well, she was going to complete Sword Art Online if it was the last thing she did. She will complete this game. She will do it. She will return home. She may be at Level 1 right now, but she would find a way to climb the levels and get to the 100th floor. Now... what to do. Chiyo walked into a nearby restaurant and sat down at a table. She sighed and opened her inventory. She had her straight sword, 15 bread, and 10 water. This should sustain her for a while she supposed. Besides, she could always just buy some more food. Hmm, she was a pretty low level at the moment. Maybe she could try to team up with somebody...

About: History/personalityChiyo was born into a good and happy family. Her father worked for a huge technology company and her mother was one of a private school's teacher which used a lot of technology in their teaching techniques. It was only natural that Chiyo would grow up around technology of all sorts. Chiyo showed an early love for reading and books. (She was able to read at a pretty young age actually.) This would lead to her having a large vocabulary for her age which would really impress her teachers in the future. When Chiyo turned 5, her father became CEO of that technology company and her family started earning lots more money. Chiyo had life good for her. Chiyo would be switching from her public school to a private school the next year. This private school would have much better behaved kids then the public school and the whole curriculum was great. The technology at that school was also amazing. Chiyo would make lots of good friends at the school. When Chiyo turned 10, she started to get into gaming. At the moment, they were downloadable computer games. Her parents didn't mind her playing the video games.
Her grades never seemed to suffer by her playing them and besides, they had work that they needed to concentrate on. This was especially true for her father who Chiyo didn't really get to see much since he had to leave for work really early. On top of that, he often came home really late. If he father was working from home, he would mostly be locked in his room not wanting any noise what so ever so that he could concentrate. When Chiyo turned 13, she would start to play Virtual Reality games. She would start out small, not playing too serious and complicated Virtual Realities. She would also play a good amount of regular video games but once she started Virtual Realities, it was hard to switch over to one that wasn't nearly as interactive and didn't nearly feel as real. 3 years would pass and Chiyo would discover Sword Art Online. She was so excited when she found Sword Art Online. She was interested in how this RPG would play out without any sort of magic. Chiyo would take her NerveGear and there she goes, into the world of Sword Art Online!
Virtues:Chiyo is naturally a pretty kind and caring girl. She would help out almost anyone who is in need, which could eventually lead her to potentially helping out somebody who is untrustworthy resulting in her character dying.
Chiyo is also highly intelligent. She mostly incorporates most of her intelligence into computers and strategy in gaming. Her parents thinks that it's a waste of intelligence (using computers and other forms of technology) but Chiyo loves it.
Another thing about Chiyo is that she is honest. (Maybe a little overly honest.) Chiyo doesn't think it's right to lie about things (well it's not!), even if it is for a really good reason. It's just not in Chiyo's nature to lie to people. This may at times exclude her enemies, rivals, etc.
Flaws:
While Chiyo may care about people deeply, she is a bit overprotective of them. She doesn't want any of her friends, family, allies, etc. to get injured in any way, shape, or form. This includes both physical and mental damage.Being defensive and overprotective are two different things. Chiyo has always been very defensive of herself. Like most people, she hates criticism, especially when people are criticizing her. Whenever somebody says something wrong that she did or tries to criticize her in any way, Chiyo would most commonly try to defend herself. This can get pretty annoying as she does this quite often.
Chiyo is very honest but with honesty usually comes bluntness. Chiyo is very blunt when she's telling the truth. She believes that there should be no "beating around the bush." She is a firm believer in giving the straight and full truth. She doesn't want to leave out a bit of the truth (she considers leaving parts out of the truth lying) and she doesn't want to put even a white lie into it.

Hi guys, um, I've never really done a SAO, RP before but I've done some others like FT and Percy Jackson xD

Starrine said that dinner sounded great and asked what they wanted to eat. "Hmm, I don't know much about all the food here so I guess I'm fine with anything." Chiyo answered. Chiyo looked over at a brown mass of fur that as it got closer, she began to see as a bear cub. It came to a stop at her feet. Mack said that Chewie heard her say the "d-word" as in "dinner." The tiny bear cub started to paw at her. Aw, he was such a cute bear. Mack said that he was also a beggar. Chewie turned to Starrine and started to paw at her.
