  1. Can I make this, since it was never actually added in the Tailoring section?

The tailor went back to his workbench and started again, hoping to finish at least of his orders. The first attempt ended up as an uneven pair of boots, one heel slightly higher than the other. Sighing, Isen deleted the item and moved on.

The next result was slightly better, the material morphing into a simple white cloth sash with short tassels at the ends. Smiling at the improvement, he stored the belt and kept working.

Spurred on by small success, Isen rushed through the next item, not taking enough time to make sure it came out correctly. Unfortunately, this resulted in a pile of scraps, not usable for anything. "More material wasted, another item deleted. At least I get experience for this," he said out loud to no one.

The next item he was was a pair of baggy, tan pants, meant to be loose-fitting and perfect for wearing in the heat of the desert where Teion's shop was. Stowing the item, Isen picked up his last bit of material and stared at it for a moment. Feeling like he was ready, Isen steadied his hands and got to work. The result was something new: a whip. It was not neither of the items he needed to make, but it certainly could have been worse, considering his previous attempts.

  3. Isen reached down and gently ran his hand down Reginald's fur, petting the small mammal even though he knew it was a program. 'It's amazing how lifelike everything here is,' he thought. Lately it was starting to become hard to completely remember details from the Real World, such as the feeling of an animal's fur.

Shaking the melancholy thoughts away, Isen accepted the trinket with a smile. "Thank you! This will hopefully help my abysmal luck," he joked, switching out his boots for the trinket. He did not foresee being in any combat that his armor would not protect him from.

Looking around, the man began searching nearby bushes for any usable materials, but unfortunately came up with nothing.

Isen's brows shot up in surprise at the generous gift Aster gave him. Bowing, he waved goodbye to her and immediately set to work, catching up on the armor he still needed to make for Teion, and now the handwraps for Aster.

Eager to being, Isen hurried through the crafts, and unfortunately was unable to crete anything that he needed, even losing some of the material in his haste. Frowning, Isen banged his fist on the table, angry with himself. 'Stop rushing! You need to pay attention when you work!'

The tailor set aside the rest of the materials for the next day, deciding to give himself some time to calm down before trying again.

  5. Isen made his way inside of Teion's shop, a note held in his right hand. He waited for the crowd to clear out a bit and walked up to the counter where Teion was.

"Good afternoon! I was hoping to put in an order for a new pair of claws," he said, holding the paper out to Teion It detailed a pair of perfect claws, with all slots set for damage. "I am not sure what exactly I want them to look like, so I leave that to your discretion."

As he spoke, Isen looked around the shop, smiling at the fact that it always seemed busy with other players. He was glad Teion had made a name for herself through her crafting, and that enough people trusted her with their needs. "How have you been? It's been a while since we have seen one another."

  6. Isen walked out of the city gates and raised a hand to shield his eyes from the sun. Scanning the surroundings, he spotted Aster and moved to her, waving.

"Good morning," he greeted her, smiling. Seeing the fox at her feet, the man knelt down. "Oh, I had not realized you finished the familiar quest! I was planning on doing so, but I am concerned that I am not yet strong enough," he admitted sheepishly. Shaking his head free of doubt, Isen asked, "Where would you like to begin? Would you rather fight or search the area?"

Isen stopped for a moment, surprised at his openness with what was essentially a stranger. Chuckling, he thought, 'Teion must have rubbed off on me.'

Isen smiled at her compliment, and his smile widened when he read the note. He had never made handwraps before, so he was excited by the challenge.

"I would be happy to search with you," he replied, sensing something trustworthy in her. "Shall we head out tomorrow?" he asked, moving back to his workbench. He began working on her order immediately, hoping his luck continued. Unfortunately, he could only make an uncommon and good set of handwraps. 'It will have to do for now'

Isen walked back to the main room and opened a trade window with Aster. "My apologies, I was not able to make the handwraps yet. In the meantime, please use these. They should help in our search." He placed the uncommon handwraps in the trade window and pressed accept. Once she received them, the tanner said, "Shall we meet on the third floor tomorrow?"

Isen accepted the materials from Aster with a small bow. "Thank you. I will begin working on this immediately."

Moving to the work room, Isen said a small prayer to no one in particular and got to work. His first result ended up being a piece of junk. Stowing it in his inventory, the man tried to not let it get to him. The next item, while not useful in combat, came out as a decent looking tan blouse. Shrugging, he left it in his inventory to put on display later.

'Third try's the charm,' he thought, hoping it really was. As he worked the material, he felt the item molding to the shape he willed it to be in, and a smile appeared on his face. As he finished, Isen raised it off the table to inspect it, pleased with his work. The craft coalesced into a pair of knee high, comfortable-looking brown boots. He put them in his inventory and made his way back to the girl waiting in the main shop. "Looks like we got lucky!" he exclaimed as he opened the trade window. Thinking for a moment, he also added the blouse to the trade and accepted it. "Planning an adventure?" he asked, thinking she must have been a bit desperate to come to his little-known shop.

  11. Hearing the door open, Isen got up from his workbench and rounded the corner into the main display room. He saw a shy-looking girl looking around the shop at the small number of items on display and gave a small wave.

"Good afternoon! Is there something I may assist you with?" He saw the scrap in her hands and walked over, assuming it was an order request. She handed it to him and he studied it for a moment, scanning the specifications she asked for. "I would be happy to make this for you. Do you need it quickly? Unfortunately I am out of materials, so it may take some time to gather them."

Isen came back to his work space, ready to try again. Three of his attempts came out as junk, but the fourth was more than usable. Holding up the coat that Captain Undead had ordered, he placed it on a mannequin and sent a quick message to the other player, letting him know the item was ready.

Seeing the man walk in, Isen gave him a small bow as he accepted the order forms from him and Teion. "I would be happy to make these for you both."  He laughed as Teion placed col in the trade window and he accepted, knowing that arguing with her would be useless.

He moved to his work table and got started. Unfortunately, he failed to make either of the items he needed to.

He smiled as Teion entered the shop. "Please, this way," he motioned to the mannequin with holding the scarf. He opened a trade window with the girl and placed the scarf into the interface, not asking for anything in return. "I hope this helps up on the fifth floor."

((OOC: I was going to fluff more, but when I had 2 pages of stuff the post got erased. So I'm not going to type it all out again.))

Isen started his crafting day by making Emerath's coat. He managed to make exactly what the other man wanted, with one small addition: a dark brown bear paw hidden beneath the coat's belt. Content with the creation, he placed it on a mannequin and sent a message to Emerath letting him know it was ready.

Next, I sen decided it was time to make his own armor. In his mind he pictured it; brown leather plates made up the chest and shoulders. Underneath was padding, both to give extra protection and to make the armor more comfortable. Around the neck was black bear fur, as well as on the forearms. A kilt of black bear fur and leather plates hung from the waist.

Next he thought he should make something to thank Teion for all of the help she had given him. He started making a scarf: something to protect her from the desert wind and heat, something that made treasure hunting easier by protecting her face. Its yellow tails fluttered as he draped it over a third mannequin and sent a message to Teion saying he had a surprise for her.

"Perfect, thank you. That would make it much easier to make things for others. And yes, let's go explore the larger caves. Hopefully we will get luckier on drops." Isen began heading in the direction of the other caves, looking for materials along the way. Unfortunately, none were to be found. He kept pace with Teion on the way, on the lookout for any other hostile monsters.

"You would think big ones would drop better loot... I think I'm just unlucky," Isen laughed. As they made their way out of the cavern, he attempted to find more glowmoss or any other plants, but was unsuccessful.

They left the cave and came up topside, where they began to search for monsters and other materials. As he searched, he thought of what he needed to do with anymore materials he got. First would be Emerath's coat, followed by a tool. Thinking this prompted him to ask, "If I got materials and col, would you be able to make me some tools?"

Isen saw the spider sway, and went in for the kill. He put all of his force behind a horizontal slash and left a set of red slashes in the beast's abdomen, and it exploded in a cloud of pixels. A loot window popped up as he caught his breath, and he frowned, seeing that it only dropped one material.

"Well, that was disappointing. Where to next?"

Seeing Teion's massive attack force the creature to reel back, Isen took the opportunity to move back in and swipe at its hindquarters. He managed to land another glancing blow, leaving three tiny marks. 'I'll just have to keep chipping away at it while Teion takes the brunt of it.' He felt bad for her having to tank the beast, but he knew he would stand no chance against it.

He dealt a glancing blow, barely making a mark. '...This might take a while...' he thought, shocked by how well armored the beast seemed to be.

Isen followed Teion down into the cave, weapons at the ready. They seemed to have hit a small stretch of empty caverns, as nothing was attacking them yet. Speaking quietly so as to not draw unwanted attention, he said, "It looks like they are further down. Most of them probably avoid the light outside; we should be careful."

On the way down, he noticed that the walls seemed to be glowing. Coming closer to the side of the hallway, he saw that it was a luminescent moss. He added it to his inventory, sure he could use it somehow.

Emboldened by her charge, he found a slightly smaller spider and used his new claws to swipe at it. Surprisingly, it exploded in a burst of pixels at the lightest touch, leaving the fighter with a stunned look on his face.

"Apparently that one was just a baby..." he laughed, turning to Teion. "Shall we continue?"

He worried a bit about facing stronger creatures, but he was confident that the armor Teion made him would keep him safe.
