  1. Dezi's short green hair shivered in the early wind as she sat under a tree. Lonan was back at one of the motel things in a nearby town, but Dezi wasn't feeling it. Dezi wasn't feeling anything.

All Dezi could think about was the fact that she wasn't strong enough. How long could she hold up, before even she fell to the hands of this game. And how long after until Lonan fell. She had no control over this world. She had no control over anything. Anything she did would be exactly what the people holding the strings wanted. Anything she did would be what they wanted. That is, unless she found a way to break their game. Which, she couldn't do. She wasn't going to give herself false hope.

She put her head in her hands, and couldn't hold back her tears. All she was doing was postponing the inevitable. It was obvious that they weren't getting out of that game. Not unless someone else won, but how likely was that? More likely than her winning. But now she was trusting her life in the hands of random people who she didn't even know. The question was, how long could she wait for them before she too would crash?

The virtual wind blew past her virtual hair, reminding her that no matter how "virtual" this world was, it was real now. Tears came streaming down her face, remembering how much weight she held on her shoulders. She had to be strong, or least act it, or else others would lose hope. She'd already lost hope, but she didn't want the people close to her to fall like she did. So she had to be strong. But she couldn't. She just couldn't. She was afraid. Not just afraid of watching the people close to her lose hope, but of dying. She was afraid of dying, as much as she would hate to admit it. And she was almost certain that she was going to die at some point. And that was a pain that she would have to feeling, knowing the future. Knowing that anything she did would mean nothing. She would die anyway, and when she did Lonan would too. And then their parents would be as good as dead. And it would all be her fault.

Th sunlight in the forest came streaming down through pockets in the leaves, leaving Dezi in plain view to any players who happened to be wandering around the forest. Dezi truly did care if they saw her, but didn't have the willpower to move. She barely had the willpower to stand, let alone go anywhere. All her strength was gone, mentally and physically. She felt like she couldn't go on, but she knew she had to. And that made it all the worse.

  2. They were in front of a shop, or at least that's what it looked like. Now was the time to stock up. Dezi wasn't going to be beat, or even get close to being beat, by something as pathetic as wolves anytime in the future. She was greeted by Lilliad, but she didn't respond. Something was really wrong. She had to be strong for Lonan, but she knew she was only postponing the inevitable. They could never take on the final boss, whatever it may be. They would be waiting for someone to pull the trigger and let them out. They couldn't save themselves.

All she was doing was protecting herself, and him, until someone could pull that trigger, and let them out. But what if that never happened. What if everybody in this game expected someone to stand up, and so they themselves never stood up on their own. What if, even if people did, they couldn't win. How long would they be trapped in this Death Game before they escaped. How long would she have to pretend to be strong? And she was worried. Because if she ever showed any sign of pain, or fear, Lonan would feel it double. He wasn't a very strong person, physically or mentally. Yes, he was smart, but he wasn't a very strong person. The only reason he seemed to feel safe was because Dezi, on the other hand, was strong. Or so he thought. His strength came purely from the feelings of others. He felt strong if others did. And if they felt weak, he knew that he was the weakest of them all. And he couldn't survive that. She'd put him through that once before, and she couldn't bear to put him through it again. She just couldn't. And she knew he couldn't either.

  3. Dezi watched as Lonan made his way through the archway and she only collapsed once he'd left. She had to be strong for his sake, but it was pulling at her not to just break down. But she was afraid too. And not just because she didn't want Lonan and his parents to be hurt, but just because she was afraid of dying. She didn't want to die. And she was deadly afraid of everything. She knew that every turn she made could well be a death trap. Everything she did could lead to her own demise. And she was scared.

But for Lonan's sake, she had to hide all of her fear and pain in herself. She had to be strong, to give him hope. Because as long as she was strong, than he felt safe. But if he knew that Dezi was scared, he would give up.

She stood up, and walked over to the gate. She shouldn't waste too much time. She walked through the gate, saying "Teleport : Starting City". She appeared on the other side, where both Lonan and Lilliad were already there.

  4. Dezi wasn't really paying attention to what the other player was saying, and everything they were saying sounded slurred and blurry (if words could be blurry). She jsut sat on the ground, until she heard a familiar voice.

"Dezi? Is that you?" It said. Dezi's eyes widened, and everything was as sharp as ever. She turned to see a blond haired boy with red cheeks, most likely from crying, and blue eyes.

"Lonan?" She asked, knowing full well the answer. She stood up, and patted any dirt off of her green cloth clothing. "Crying's not going to get you anywhere," She said as he started to cry again. Dezi looked around for the other player, but instead found an open arch in the middle of nowhere. It seemed to be just a normal arch, but Dezi was sure that wasn't it. She tried to remember what the other player had said before she had disappeared.

"Let's go over there...", "Teleport: Starting City!" Ah. It was a teleport gate.

"Lonan. Go over to that arch thing and say, "Teleport: Starting City". Be sure to say it clearly. You don't want to end up someplace else." (KNOCKTURN ALLEY!!! XD) Dezi instructed, motioning at the big archway. She'd follow but she wanted to make sure that he got there first.

  5. One hell of a fight? One hell of an understatement! But Dezi knew it was best to shrug it off. "Yeah." She said, her mind still ringing, replaying everything moment of the fight in less than an instant.

"I'm Cyanidezi, by the way, but you can call me Dezi." She said, standing up. Her cheeks were red, even though it wasn't hot nor had she actually cried. But nevertheless, she wasn't in the mood to question the small details like that.

The sun had started to come up, tainting the whole grassland an eerie dull yellow. Everything seemed eerie after that, though. Even if it had painted the sky a bright orange, it still would've been dull to any person who's had to fight like that or worse.

  6. A sad smile broke her face when the girl knocked another health point of the beast. For Lonan, and Mira, and Jacob (Mira and Jacob are Lonan's parents, and her foster parents), it was time for her to make her move.

She ran at the wolf, and stabbed her two daggers into its eyes. It howled in pain, and she watched its health bar drop down all the way. It shattered into colored shards, and Dezi fell onto her knees. "We won." She said, but she knew it wasn't true. They won't "win" until this death game was over. Once that was done, then would they have finally "won".

  7. Lonan!!! Don't tell them that!!!

    -_- lol

It's true, though. My locker is covered in stickers from my favorite bands... and Doctor Who and anime and books and... well I'll just stop there.

BUT!! Lonan's notebooks are covered with My Little Pony characters. (Ha! Payback time!)

  8. Dezi looked up, and the fire in her eyes are heart was almost visible even in the virtual world. As much as she'd like to "be the hero" and sacrifice her life in order to beat this monster, she knew what sort of thing that would do.

Her eyes met the other players, and she could almost see exactly what they were thinking. They weren't going to die either. That made two of them. There was no way they were going to die. Neither of them. And it was like there was another light.

Everything in her life had been so dark. The dark corners, hiding from reality as she knew it. The fights, happening not too far away. Until there was Lonan, and his family. They gave her a home, when she needed one the most. They gave her a family, something she'd never really had before. They gave her hope, and that was something she would never forget.

But if she were to die here she would take that away from herself and others. She was thrown back into the darkness. And she would do anything to make sure that the people who saved her from the pain, wouldn't fall into it too.

But this girl. She reminded Dezi of herself. The thought almost made her cry as well. There was no way that they were going to die. Not yet. Not here. Not in this death game. They were going to make it out. And save the people that they cared about.

  9. Well then. I guess neither of them were in the mood for death. I wonder why. Dezi side stepped, trying to create a lot of distance between her and the wolf in case she had to resort to running. Unluckily, with her health so low, I don't think that she'd be able to outrun the wolf. So she'd save that as a last resort.

She swiped down, to see if she had anything in her inventory that might help at all. Nope, nothing. Just like she had expected. Ugh.

But she couldn't die. She just couldn't. She couldn't die, knowing that she'd be giving others a fate worse than death...

She was there to protect Lonan. His family took her in when her dad was evil to her. They pretty much saved her life. Now, it was her turn to save theirs. If she were to die, then it was almost certain that Lonan would die too. Losing both their "children" in a virtual reality game that they had bought for them as a gift... they would blame themselves. They would live a life worse than death, believing that they had caused them so much pain. Dezi couldn't let that happen to the people who became the only light in her darkness. There was no way that she was going to die.

  10. She had the perfect opening too. And she dropped her sword on her foot. Sigh.

I guess she'd have to make up for that epic fail (lol).

Dezi ran at the wolf, and slashed at the wolf. It wasn't a perfect move, but it still knocked off one health point. She rolled, expecting the wolf to try and bit her from above. She was wrong. It clawed at her, skimming her leg, but it was enough to knock off another health point. This wasn't good. One more hit, and she'd be dead. She'd have to leave the rest of the battle to the other player.

  11. Dezi watched as the other player yelled as another wolf bit their arm. Dezi was shaking in anger and fear. Death in this game meant death in real life. Something she couldn't afford. If she died, she would bring a fate worse than death upon multiple people. And someone must feel that pain for any player that dies in this death game. Dezi wasn't going to just watch as a player went down because she was a coward.

She flipped her daggers around in her hands, and ran at the wolf. She ignored the girl's gesture for Dezi to run away.

Her eyes burned with a fire that seemed impossible for a virtual game. She slashed at the wolf, taking down one of its health points. It released the other player's' arm and turned to try and bite Dezi. But Dezi was too fast. She jumped off the left, and the wolf was left to bite at the air. It was open to any attack from the other player, so now it was up to her to make an attack.

  12. (O.O You be Yoda? But Yoda be me! How be there 2 Yodas? idk)

    (My luck seriously sucks)

The wolf charged at the other girl, and she managed to knock one of its health points down. It them came charging at Dezi. She got into a fencing stance, but a dagger in both hands. She started to run at the wolf, and her eyes narrowed.

So much for her serious battle tactics. Her boots slipped on the wet grass, and she fell on her face in the grass. The wolf gained on her, and slashed at her back. A blinding flash in her eyes, and she saw her health bar go down. Her eyes widened, and she rolled off to the side. She jumped up, and ran off a little ways.

'No way... I can't be killed. Who else would be there to help him. He can't protect himself' She thought to herself. (Thinking about Lonan)

She looked at the other player, almost pleading.

  13. Why... thank you for bear hugging me and then... gobbling me? XD

Yes, I do like DW. The eighth doctor was my favorite. But I look like Rose Tyler irl, so... Well, Rose was my favorite companion... XD

  14. (Uh... I have no clue... XD )

The girl yelled something at Dezi, but she couldn't really make it out. But whoever it was they came running towards her and smirked. She pulled out a curved sword, and Dezi was sure she was ready for battle. Dezi, unluckily, couldn't really share her enthusiasm. She'd been looking for someone when she ran into those wolves, and she just hoped he wasn't hurt, or killed. (Lona) The girl took a strike at the wolf, but she missed. It then bounded after her, but she dodged it. It rolled in the grass and pretty much came to Dezi's feet. It was her time to show her stuff.

He flipped her daggers around in her hand, so that they pointed down. She thrust down, stabbing the wolf in its virtual ribcage and heart. She pulled her daggers down its side, before pulling them out. The wolf let out a howl of agony before getting back up. It growled at Dezi, and tried to pounce at her. Unluckily, with its wounds, it failed epicly. Dezi ran back, to catch some of her breath. "Hey!" She called to the other girl, as the wolf started to get up again. It turned its beady eyes toward the player Dezi was yelling at, and it's ears flattened. It began to run at the girl player. "Watch out!" Dezi yelled, hoping that she could hear her.

  15. (Could you add Lona to this one too?)

Dezi ran, as fast as she could, but she still wasn't super good at this game yet. She help one dagger in both hands, which she stretched out to her sides. There was a rather large amount of wolves in this area, and she was still not too good at fighting yet. She was really just trying to make her way through without dying. She wasn't really that close to the wolves; she didn't have a death wish.

A little while ahead, she made out the figure of another player. Her eyes narrowed, but now wasn't the time for taking her chances. Perhaps the two of them might just be strong enough to put a few hits on these creatures...

    About

History : (Slightly different than histories in ALO and GGO)

Her father was a mean man who abused everyone in the house, especially Desiree's mother. By the time she was 5, her mind had been tainted black by the things she had seen her father do. At school she tried so hard to get the attention she didn't get from home. She practiced as hard as she could, and tried to get the best grades. She thought that maybe that would get people to notice her.

It got people to notice her, alright. But not in the way she had imagined. She was subjugated to an onslaught of bullying, because she was a "nerd". Now, not only was she hurt at home, but at school as well. She fell into a state of depression, and her grades dropped tremendously. She started giving up on reality.

And then her mother died, or left, and it was all over for her. Because her dad couldn't abuse her mom, he started abusing her more. It wasn't fair. She decided she wasn't going to live like that. She was thinking about suicide, but she got a better idea. She had one real friend at school, and so she ran away to their house. She told him and his parents the story, and they allowed her to stay with them. His parents called the Child Protective Services, and they said that they'd talk to the father. In the time being, they should continue to look after her.

Her friend, Lonan, loved video games. Both of them were nerds, which is why they got along so well. He had recently gotten into MMORPGs, and he invited Desiree to try them out.

The Child Protective Services got back to them, and said that they would have to send Desiree off to an orphanage. But Lonan's parents wouldn't have that, so they went through the adoption themselves. Desiree became a permanent part of their family.

Because Lonan was big into video games, and Desiree lived them because he liked them, their parents got them both the headgear to play SAO. They were both really excited. Unluckily, the game turned out to be a hoax, and they got stuck in the virtual world.

Personality : (Slightly different than other personas.)

At school she was a nerd, and she tried to get good grades and loved to learn. By the time she was in 6th grade, she was at a college reading level, and she was already teaching herself about chemistry. Unluckily, she was bullied because of this, giving her a scared attitude. She wasn't really good around other people, because most of the people she knew hurt her. Her father, and most people at her school. She did have one friends though, but he wasn't in many classes with her.

At home she was always scared. She hid in her room most of time, so that she didn't have to see what was going on outside. The house was a scary place, with her father around. She cried herself to sleep and had nightmares every night. This gave her a very untrusting nature, and she never really got close to anyone because she was afraid they'd hurt her like her father does.

Her fear slowly turned to anger though, when her mother disappeared. Her father started abusing her, and at some point she'd had enough. She learned to be a bit more self-confident that day, and she ran away to find a world she found worth living.

    Virtues :

Protective : She won't let anything hurt Lonan, her "brother", and her only friend. She would protect him with her life. He, and his family, were the ones who protected her when she really needed it, so now she was going to return the favor.

Smart : Even though her grades dropped because of her dad, she was still an A+ student. She was the top of all her classes (except History) (until her mom left/died). She has a serious knack for chemistry and writing.

Not gullible : She can see through lies, no matter who said them. She's not one to be easily fooled. She can see through deception, but while that is helpful for her, not everyone believes her when she says, "It's a trap.".

Strong : She is led by her emotions, and her thoughts. If a monster makes her angry, or scared, or threatens Lonan, she will destroy it. She's not afraid of becoming a red player, if it means saving other people.

    Flaws :

Un-friendly : She doesn't work well with most people, except Lonan. She doesn't really have a sense of humor, which is a pain for most people. She's really serious, after all she's been through. Lonan can pull a laugh out of her though, he's the only person who can.

Inner Pain : She's constantly reminded of the pain people have caused her in the past, and it feels to her like there's a literal hole in her heart from lack of care. Sometimes she can fall into a really deep state of depression, where everything feels so heavy she can't even move.

Brutally honest, when angry : When she gets angry, or when somebody bothers her, she points out all their flaws and gets in their face about hypocrisy and irony. She doesn't really like people who pretend to be the leader, so when they get on her nerves she asks why they think they are good for the place of leader. She then points out their flaws, reasoning out why they'd make a stupid leader.

  17. Hello, I'm Dezi. By the way, if anyone knows my character, I am nothing like she is.

So I have no clue how to "intruduce" myself on an RP site, so I'm just going to say some random stuff about me... This is gonna end well...

Okay, so I'm going to start with animes. I like SAO (no duh), Fairy Tail, RWBY, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Soul Eater.

    I like sarcasm. Uh.........

I have an ongoing joke about linguini and chicken pot pie. Do. Not. Question.

    lol

    Uh.........................

I take evil as a complement. I am dark, and I'm in the middle of writing a whole slew of mini depressing stories which I'm going to try and get published. I'm in 8th grade. I'm a girl!

    Uh...............................

I'm not afraid of the dark? This is the worst excuse for an introduction. XD

Okay then! That is all I am going to say, because any more and I'm just going to end up making more of a fool of myself than I already have.
