  1. Standing beside the young Alchemist, Nikodemus stared at the large dungeon and tilted his head. With a sigh, Nikodemus looked around for the others. "Where did everyone go go? I swear they were all right here..." Looking back to the dungeon, Nikodemus shrugged and then prepared his shield and his axe. He hefted the blade in his hand and smiled, ready to go in and fight whatever came their way. "So, you ready Zan? Cause if the others don't catch up... It'll be just you an me..."

Seeing Zandra cut through one warrior, then Rain charge forward to pull the second one from her, Nikodemus prepared himself. Charging a Sword Art, Nikodemus leapt forward towards the amazon warrior and let loose his <Sharpened Chop>. The blade sliced through the shield and into the warrior, turning it to pixels. Breathing deeply, Nikodemus looked to Rain and Zandra. "You guys ok?"

Watching as Zandra and Rain struck at the group of warriors, Nikodemus smiled. He realized either of them could have brought the group down with 1 hit, but that would have burned them out and left them weak. Deciding to do the same, Nikodemus prepared a Sword Art, the first he ever learned in Aincrad. Waiting to make sure the others were clear and that warriors were open, Nikodemus growled and let loose his axe, activating his <Crescent Thrush> Sword Art. The slicing blade of sickly emerald energy sliced past his two party members safely and then sliced through the 4 Amazons. With their last breath, each one leapt and struck the armored giant, chipping at his health little by little, before bursting into pixels.

((OOC: We were killing a snake. simple.))

Charging forward, Nikodemus brought his axe around in a viscious euppercut strike at the large snakes face. His axe scored across it and carved a deep furrow in the scales, leaving a bright red gash. With a flick of his wrist, Nikodemus brought the axe down again, carving a second line through the creatures face again, leaving a perpendicular line beside the first. Finished with his strike, Nikodemus leapt back and landed a few feet away, breathing hard. "Verdammt thing's scales are like iron. I can get through, but it is shallow and not doing much!"

  5. Laying there, Nikodemus grunted and stood, gathering the fallen materials. With a sigh, he looked to Rain and then smiled. "Well, I think that'll do it for me today. Lets head back." Turning, he returned with the Alchemist to town and divided the loot between them. Waving farewell, Nikodemus returned home..

Seeing Rain dispatch more enemies, Nikodemus smiled and then turned and charged at his opponents. Hurling his axe, he let loose with his Sword Art <Tomahawk Thrust> and sent the blade through each beast. After exiting them last boar, the axe bounded from the ground and flipped up into the air for a moment, then returned to his grip like a boomerang. As each boar squealed with rage and pain, they charged Nikodemus down and slammed into him, knocking him down. After they hit, they all burst into pixels, the <Thorns> effect in Nikodemus armor activating and tearing the beasts to shreds.

  7. ((OOC: Curse you dice gods...))

Watching Rain approach, Nikodemus was about to caution him, but then noticed that in the blink of an eye the the man had cut down the female warrior. Blinking, Nikodemus smiled. "Good job mate!" Looking beyond the man, Nikodemus noticed a group of Amazonian's charging down the bridge. With quick motion, Nikodemus charged past Rain and put himself between him and the warriors. With his axe in hand, he planted his feet and then brought his axe around hard, slicing just before the warrior's faces, stopping them in their tracks.Bringing his shields up, he deflected a few attacks from the warriors and brought the pass to a stalemate.

  8. Reaching the teleport gate, he stepped in and shouted loudly, "Teleport: Nimbus!" and then closed his eyes. A feeling of air rushing crossed his skin, and he opened his eyes standing in the midst of the grey walled Nimbus. He smiled at being home, and stepped off the teleport gate. walking down the small outskirt lane where many Orange player acessable shops resided, Nikodemus smiled and entered his home, a blacksmith shop. Stepping in, he smiled and flipped the <CLOSED> sigh to <OPEN> and went to the counter. Using his HUD, he removed his armor and stood in his basic tunic and breeches. Stretching, he began to clean around his shop and set the Snowfrost potion he had gotten from Avalanche with other items he had gathered.

  9. As he made his way around the settlement, halfway to the teleport plaza, Nikodemus smiled and thought about the first time he had been to this floor. He had came with the resident Blacksmith Mack to get a free set of armor and a weapon from him, along with others. He had climbed a tall tree and jumped from it to test the armor, finding it well made. He laughed at the memory, realizing he had been quite insane back then, his mind still healing. Since then, he had undergone a quest that had helped him regain more control of himself, but he was still quite insane. He controlled it well, but had lost it once on floor 5, resulting in his orange cursor when he slew an NPC. With a sigh, he shook the thoughts of that from his head and rounded the corner, seeing the teleport gate.

  10. Coming to the small settlement, Nikodemus remained along the outskirts. Being an Orange Player meant he couldn't enter past a certain point, and this frustrated Nikodemus, but he understood the reason. With a shrug, he began heading the long way around towards the teleport gate. He listened as people within the main walls laughed and cheered, told stories and shared secrets. Occasionally he saw movement as people moved about, heading to taverns and shops. The sun was dropping, so night would be coming soon, and people were back in town ready to spend the cold hours in an inn, tavern, or home. Nikodemus wanted to return to his temporary home in this game. His small shop outside of Nimbus.

  11. Charging through the snow, Nikodemus sighed and looked for the trail head that would lead him back to town. As he found it, he smiled and began to traverse it. His feet clanked on the stone walk beneath the snow as he trudged along, and he smiled as he could see the main settlement a ways off.  Looking along the path, he watched the fauna of floor 4 move about in the distant tree line, blissfully unaware of the armored giant as he moved along. His gaze flitted between them, counting their numbers off and viewing them much like a scientist views a colony of endangered species. His mind whirred with thoughts about them, but he was in dire want of returning home.

  12. As he moved through the snowy landscape, Nikodemus sought out anything useful to him. Materials, Col, anything. As he looked around, Nikdoemus stopped occasionally and dug in the snow here and there for anything. Thinner patches of snow were the best and easiest to search, but occasionally he had to look in deeper patches. While digging in the deeper snow, he was always careful not to let his mind wander. Always wary for enemy mobs, he kept looking around after digging a few handfuls of snow out. Finding nothing here and there, he kept moving.

  13. Finally entering the small snow field, Nikdoemus found a nice tall rock to sit upon. Dusting the snow off as best as he could, Nikodemus took up a perch and relaxed atop the flat rock. With a sigh, he looked around and smiled. The snow was beautiful, and he hated that he had to destroy the serenity of the landscape with his large form tearing through the snow. He always had a greater love of winter and snow. With a sigh, he looked around one last time and then stood and began heading back once again. his feet moved through the snow and made a trail as he made his way back to town.

    EN Max.

  14. Moving along, Nikodemus kept his head down and his attention at the ground. Searching for his former tracks was easy enough, the snow having barely been touched by fresh powder. The indents were not crisp, but still visible to his eyes. Climbing a hill slightly, Nikodemus panted as his feet were buried deep in the white snow. Grumbling, he trudged up and over, then headed down. Seeing at a distance a nice snow field, Nikodemus figured he'd make it there and rest for a bit before returning home. Reaching the bottom of the hill, Nikodemus began heading to the field he had seen.

  15. Gathering himself, Nikodemus stood up and brushed the snow from his armor. Grumbling angrily, he leaned down and snagged the potion from where it lay on the ground. Looking around, he sighed and then began trudging back towards town. His mind drifted for a bit here and there, giving him time to debate on his next moves. He knew the end game, but it was the journey that needed the planning. Tromping through snow and ice, Nikodemus muttered to himself and watched the white powder become broken and cracked as he stomped his way along.

  16. As the beast broke from it's stunned condition, Nikodemus brought his shield up and caught the blow meant to smash him into the ice and forced it back. Chunks of jagged ice sliced at his hand and arm, wounding him, but he ignored them and pressed the attack as his armor's <Thorns> effect sent a wave of damage through the beast. With his Sword Art <Undertone> charged, Nikodemus brought his axe up in an undercut strike, knocking the beast backwards, and then brought the blade back down and sliced at it's exposed midsection, breaking through the icy exterior. Watching the beast stagger and fall, bursting to pixels, Nikodemus fell back for a moment and took a deep breath.

  17. Charging forward, Nikodemus brought his axe around and attempted to bring the conflict to an end. As his blade whipped past his shoulder, Nikodemus felt his foot catch in one of the many cracks in the ice below him. Coming off balance, Nikodemus put his other foot out to stop himself, abandoning his swing, and felt the ice below him catch just right on his boot and his leg coming out from under him. Rotating in air, Nikodemus came down hard on his hands and knees, then staggered to his feet quickly and brought his axe and shield up, preparing for the beast to break from it's stunned condition.

  18. Taking his axe in hand, Nikodemus charged a Sword Art. Charging forward at the beast, Nikodemus dodged one of it's hamfisted blows, the ice beneath him shuddering and begging to split. Using the beast as a jumping platform, Nikodemus leapt up onto it's buried fist, then up into the air and let loose his axe. The Sword Art <Heightened Bash> allowed Nikodemus to bring his sword up and into the beasts face hard. Cracking the ice of it's head slightly, Nikodemus pushed off it's shoulder and then spiraled down and landed before the beast. As it growled. <<Avalanche>> tried to move, but was stunned in place. With a smirk, Nikodemus brought his axe behind him and prepared to let loose the finishing blow.

  20. Coming up to Zandra alongside Rain, Nikodemus looked out over the sprawling expanse of the dungeon. His icy blue eyes glanced left and right as he took in the sights and sounds. As they approached the wooden bridge, Nikodemus looked across it and noticed the large humanoid figure. Looking to the others, Nikodemus shrugged slightly. "Friend or foe? I am leaning to the latter. But maybe I am wrong." Smiling softly, Nikodemus prepared his axe and shield and began to cross the large wooden bridge.

  21. Looking to Rain as he spoke with him, Nikodemus smiled beneath his helmet. "Wow, that was good. Maybe one day I'll be able to find dungeons like that. I mean, it's not my first rodeo in one, but Takao did all the fighting and such. This will be my first legit attempt at running one with a party and actually fighting, if you know what I mean." smiling, Nikodemus prepared himself as best as possible and readied his shield for when they ventured within. He imagined the monsters waiting for them, and the boss they'd have to deal with. Shrugging his shoulders, be began to head in. "Well, lets go friends."

  22. ((OOC: Eh, figured I'd post anyway. Zan can have first roll))

Watching the beast burst into pixels, Nikodemus moved towards the area it had been. Laying amidst the dirt was the item it dropped. Snatching it up, Nikodemus pocketed the potion and returned to where Rain and Zandra was standing. Looking to the two, he listened to them talk, and then heard Rain mention a dungeon. Shrugging his shoulders, Nikodemus nodded. "Sure, we can go dungeon hunting. Where do we start looking? Never done this much and all." Looking around, Nikodemus wondered where they would find one, and what they would find inside.
