  1. (OOC: Short and super confusing post sorry!)

The young woman had not intended for anyone else to get caught up in her prank, but someone had. And it was a shame, but Michiko would need to play along to fully magnify the joke. She sniffled again and brought her attention to Piera, the woman at Mack's side. "My brother is just so...so...mean!" She said, her face becoming noticeably reddened with anger. "I know it's temporary but seriously he's the worst!" The red haired girl continued to complain to the young lady in the glasses. Michiko then heard her dear brother call her bluff. Before she responded to her sibling she leaned in towards the brunette and whispered: "Sorry, didn't mean to trick you. You're a very kind person." She then turned to the giant she called her brother and frowned in attempt to make the saddest face she could.

"I'm hurt to think you would think I could just fake it like that. But, as always, you're hard to fool and it never gets old." Michiko stated protruding her lower lip in a pout. Even though she was in college she still preferred to act younger, especially in situations to screw with people. Mostly it was her brother that she like to play pranks on, and in video games like Mack had said, she liked playing the funny or mischievous characters. This was probably because she liked anyone else playing the game to think that she was either too dumb to inflict damage, or think that Michiko would be friendly. She liked making friends but would rather have the other party introduce themselves to here- she wasn't impulsive and outwards as Magda and Mack. In games she could be whatever character she wanted to be, but in SAO she was herself, red hair and all. "You're no fun. Ever since I mislead you in that one game, I can't remember the name, you have been extra cautious and cold towards me." The young woman stated, crossing her arms over her cleanly pressed uniform.

She stuck her nose in the air and frowned at Mack. "I would rather stay on the ground, thank you very much. Besides, you wouldn't want this gift from Opal to get ruined. Then I'll really complain to Heathcliff." She relaxed her face a bit the sighed outwardly in exhaustion to her brother.

  2. Not even a day earlier, Michiko and her sister Magda had found their brother, Mack. As always, he was overly pushy and the young red haired woman had no way of refusing his demand for her to join his guild. Whether she liked it or not, from now on Michiko would adorned in the flashy white and red uniform issued to her Opal, her Commander. It was quite a tiring day for her yesterday, as she had to calm down not one, but two of her siblings before they killed each other with the amount of toxicity that was in the air. Michiko had always imagined them both as bulls, always butting heads and insanely angry at the color red. It was sense since their hair color was in fact red. Even so, her quick initiation and five thousand set of rules given to her by Mack were way too exhausting for her to keep up with. She didn't want to be a social butterfly as some party thrown by Mack- she didn't even like parties. To be honest, all Michiko wanted to was to actually train and get her "life" back together so she could be in a better place inside the guild. Her connections were pretty bad, but she was determined to be just below Opal, and way above Mack. Michiko knew from experience that if you were just a regular member of a guild you were nothing. You had no control, you were a bottom feeder, and practically canon fodder to the rest of the higher-ups. So, with her new uniform on her figure, she strode through the Fourth Floor, this time with a proper jacket. She could only think of how her sister was dealing with this cold. As far as Michiko was concerned, Mag had an insane hatred for everything cold. Michiko shrugged the thought for a moment as she came to her destination.

A hot springs. In no way did Michiko like to parade around her body around strangers, she didn't even like swimming too much anyways. But, to get back at her brother for listing so many unfair requests of the two sisters, Michiko had something up her sleeve. Once she stepped inside she noticed at the front entrance a bowl of red liquid with a sign that stated she must drink in order to enter. Her countenance darkened, she didn't even like punch, yet she had to drink it. Her glare shifted from the bowl, to her brother who was alongside another woman. It surprised the girl that Mack was with someone; usually his brash nature warded off the women and pushed them away. Her face softened slightly as she brought her attention back to the drink, she was happy for her brother. Michi picked up a cup and filled it, knowing it would have an effect of somesort. She closed her eyes and downed the disgusting drink, disposing of the cup afterwards of course. She then proceeded to walk into the social.

She didn't know what to expect, this was her first time meeting her new guildmates. She felt relieved when she saw Magda talking to Mack. They were at least speaking after yesterday. Michiko walked forward towards them, but stopped when Mack suddenly pulled Magda over his head. The young girl was appalled at her brother's actions- they were completely unacceptable! Fuming, the young girl stood over Mack. "No violence you say? Then what was that? Don't tell me you have an exception to that rule..." Her eyes shifted from Mack, to her skin....it was glowing? Her mind could not comprehend this, this wasn't rational to be all glittery! Then she remembered the punch and frowned. "...Mack." this was the start of the show. Michiko's eyes began to well with tears as she covered her face, making realistic sounding cries. "How could you embarrass me like this! I..I just wanted to m-make friends for my new guild! Not be something from a bad love novel!" She continued, trying her best to convince Mack that she was in fact not faking this, she needed to get back at him.

  3. [I too will post in first person to keep consistency. Also I didn't re-read it so PM me with errors or misconceptions. Thanks.]

Alongside me on the left was Magda, but to my right was the vast scenery of Floor 2. We were coming from Urbus, the main settlement of the floor, and were currently on the highest point from the town. The entire floor was composed of rolling hills and many, many trees.  Of course there were trees to the right of us as well but since we were up so high Magda and I were able to see over them. The ones to the left towered over us, however. And almost every time I looked over, Magda was staring so intently at the leaves grasping the branches for life. Although if one leaf were to fall it would surely just regenerate. Unlike us the grass and other "living things" like the quest monsters could just respawn if slain.

The leaves didn't interest me as much as the animals of this floor did. After all, my friend in the college that I was attending in real life was studying to be an animal specialist- she taught me a lot to help herself study. Being fond of animals didn't help me very much in this game where if I didn't attack it, it would kill me. I knew now that they were so bountiful and would just reappear a few feet away but for the first few months of the game I refused to even take out my weapon, let alone point it at one. Now that I understood the stakes of this MMO I knew I couldn't just not kill things. But, the sad fact still remained that Magda and I still hadn't killed a single being ever since setting foot into the virtual reality. We were way too busy looking for our brother, Mack, whom was severely angry with us for "killing ourselves" and joining him in this death trap.

My attention averted from he grazing boars and small animals to a lone player hacking away at wasp. I cringed at the thought of the noises it probably made- to cut through the insect. I frowned as he finished it in a single blow, that wasn't very exciting. I looked at the players stature, then to Magda and noticed she too had been eyeing the player from a tree. I rasied an eyebrow and calming thought before I spoke. "Once you're done having sexual interactions with a tree would you like to go speak with that player? He seems somewhat trustworthy I guess, and he could help us with a quest."

  4. As usual, he was a giant to her. Michiko wasn't short or her age, but she wasn't as tall as the rest of their family- she barely looked like her siblings as well. Not only that but Mag and Mack were both just so impulsive and spur-of-the-moment, type of people while Michiko liked to think things through first. Like in this situation, she knew instantly that her brother was angry. Mack didn't want his precious sisters to die in the game, he didn't have faith that they would last very long because of the very fact that they were his family. Or at least that's what young Michiko thought. And truly she knew that as Magda spoke to him, and if Michiko tried reasoning with him, he would end up fuming and probably break something to release his anger. Nothing felt worse to her than to make any of her family upset at her; she always tried to keep things peaceful; so she would think before she acted up on the task at hand: calm Mack the frick down before he explodes.

However, before the red haired girl could step forward and intervene in her sister's instigation, a sudden animal rolled to a halt in front of her. Actually, it was more of a failed crash landing, but it didn't cause any harm. Her eyes widened and she crouched down and fawned over the young grizzly cub- it was just so cute! Michiko's hand rubbed over the head, smoothing down and pressing lightly on it's back. It looked happy, but it was whining. She frowned, but quickly knew the solution. The cub was hungry and she could tell because one of her best friends in real life at college was studying to be an animal specialist for National Parks. "Hold on," her voice cautioned the bear to stop what it was doing. It followed her instructions as she pulled a piece of bread from her inventory. After one last pat on the head, Michiko stood up and stepped over the bear, placing her hands on Magda's shoulders.

"Mack," She began, clenching her sister's shoulders for support, "We're here because we heard you were trapped in this game. We've been looking for you this entire time- as a result our gear is not up to par. We haven't joined any guild. We've only been looking for you so I guess what Mag is trying to say is that you should be happy that we're here. You aren't alone in this dumb game, you have us." Michiko explained the best she could, making sure her voice was level.

  5. [OOC: Writin' in a different tense, this may be bad :)]

The young woman's entire body felt as though a ghost had passed through her when her in-game body was teleported to the Fourth Floor of Aincrad. The warmth from the previous Town of Delilah Village was now long gone and replaced by the freezing snow that blanketed the ground, the flowers were no more. Michiko instantly regretting refusing to purchase a coat before coming here, as her equilibrium was now messed up. She didn't think it would be necessary for just a small visit to the floor, but boy was she wrong. She definitely needed something other than armor to keep her warm. In her inventory she had the game's starter coat but that flimsy excuse of a fabric did nothing to warm her body. Even so, she reluctantly threw the jacket on and crossed her arms over her chest.

Michiko stood behind the teleporter, waiting for her older sister Magda to come. Michiko offered to go ahead to get a head start on their trip but in (virtual) reality she just didn't want to her sister to wait on her on the other side. Magda was quite the impatient character, so it was important to be on time and especially not to make her wait on you. So, Michiko's solution was to wait on her. This way neither of them could be angry really since the younger red haired player was way more lenient on time and less impatient. Like always, she attempted to be a peacemaker between the duo because that's what's worked for them these past months in Aincrad whilst on the hunt for their dumb brother that bought the game too.

Suddenly, yet another redhead appeared from the teleporter. The sibling smiled and walked forwards with a small smile. "Mag," she began, but before she could finish the older twin sprinted off with shivers. Michiko's countenance contorted to an unpleasant one in record time as she saw her sister forget all about her and run off to fulfill her own selfish desire for warmth. She didn't linger however, she knew her sister was faster than her and if she didn't start running she wouldn't be able to follow her.

The young girl's ponytail whipped back and forth. Her heeled boots clicked and pressed down hard in the snow while she made an attempt to catch the older sister of her's. Like she thought, the coat did absolutely nothing to insulate, or conduct, the warmth she required. When Magda turned a corner, so did she, when Her sibling sped up, so did she. This kept going until she finally ran into a building. Michiko stopped in front of the building, breathing in the cold and and reading the sign above the door. "The Wanderer's Forge?" With the flick of a finger, she put away the jacket. Then she proceeded to press her hand onto the door an push. Of course she saw Magda, she was quite tall after all. She quietly shut the door behind her and walked forward to scold her sister when she stopped abruptly. In front of her was the person whom she'd been looking for: her brother.

"Mack!" Her eyes grew wide and her face lit up at the sight of her older brother.

    Username: Michiko
    Real name: Michiko Mack
    Age: 20
    Gender: Female
    Height: 176cm [5 foot 8]

    Background/History :

When Michiko was younger she was always being influenced by her older brother, Mack. He would teach her how to climb trees and how to hide the bruise from your mother when you fell from that tree. He was the type of brother to check on her everyday and punch anyone who dared say anything about her. She was protected and had fun from the very start. However, since her brother joined a the armed forces she had been travelling a lot, and wasn't able to see her protector that often. Their lives grew apart as they each grew older- like most siblings do. So, Michiko went to college and during her first year she kept in minimal contact with her sibling. But, they always played online games together, as they were an easy thing to set up and were almost free. It was when Mack introduced her to Sword Art Online that her life took a turn. At first she didn't jump into the game because while in college she had an assignment due and needed to finish before doing anything. Once done with that she saw in the news that everyone in SAO was trapped. Knowing it was a death wish, she turned on her NervGear and went into the game to find her brother.

    Virtues:

Benevolent: Michiko has always been a kind soul because of her brother. Mack is often known for his big personality but sometimes this results in her having to apologize for him. Her mother also played a very big role in this specific strong point of her's, as they did move a lot. Her mother also had been a nurturing person and ultimately passed this along to her child, Michiko.

Tactful: Again, her brother was always showing her the way with certain things, but he also did show her by example what not to do. Mack is often very expressive and blunt while Michiko tends to lean towards thinking before she thinks.

Strategic: Growing up with an older brother obviously meant a lot of screen time; she played many games that required you to think of the plot. Thus, she became known in her family for being able to solve difficult problems at home. Mack even asked her on multiple occasions to log onto some games to help with his raid groups as well.

    Flaws:
Pride: Because of her brother's army lifestyle, Michiko has always been very proud with everything she's accomplished. Also she see's her brother's service as a very honorable thing and is very proud of it. She often flaunts is and uses it to get certain treatment. However, she is in no way manipulative. This would be a virtue in some people's eyes but she will not give in no matter what happens because her achievement comes first.

Distanced: Michiko doesn't entirely shut herself from other people but she won't go out of her way to introduce herself or start a conversation with anyone. Meaning, she doesn't take the initiative unless it has something to gain from it; if it's a boss battle or something she'll speak up.

Known:(Don't know what to call this one) Mack is obviously a couple years older than Michiko so during high school she was always seen as "Mack's little sister," and not just Michiko. This annoyed her because of her pride and her whole I-want-to-be-known-as-me deal.
