  2. With a heavy sigh, Alakir walked into his store. He was really hoping that he'd make something impressive so he could sell it, or trade it for something useful. He'd also need to start looking for materials again. or else he'd have to put all his crafting on hold until he found more. As per his morning routine, he fished two materials out of his inventory, leaving the last one, and placed them on the anvil, and begun his work. CLANG CLANG!

  3. Alakir walked into the store, noting how low on materials he was getting. He really hoped to make something impressive, so that he could open for business properly, but it seemed like it was pretty far away for his skill to be reliable as of yet. But, practice makes perfect! So he buckled down, and got to work. Pulled out two materials, and swiftly struck both Materials with his hammer.

  4. After yesterdays success, Alakir gleefully sped to the back of his workshop, hastily pulling the materials out of the box he had. He placed them both on the anvil and hoped that his luck would be at least as good today! But regardless, he was happy to have at least made just one thing of worth. He brought the hammer down swiftly twice. CLANG CLANG!

  5. Noticing his two friends Hydra and allania conversing in the shop, Alakir entered, overhearing the tail end of their conversation. Intrigued, Alakir turned to Hydra. "If you have the chance, I'd appreciate something like that too. I don't mind the wait for it, just let me know when I can have it. Oh, and no getting me killed by boars to shirk off the work." Said Alakir Mock glaring, before handing over:

  7. Walking into the store, Alakir felt demoralized. Not one good thing had been crafted yet. Was he destined to fail? He would have to see... but he believed he wasn't. Fishing out two materials from his box, alakir first tapped one (Clang) and then the other subsequently whilst the first glowed.

  8. Grunting at the Shoddy work, he merely grasped the next material in the box. This was his only other attempt he would get for today, and he needed to make something of it, to hopefully break this annoying curse of his. Psyching himself up to do it, Alakir raised his hammer, prepared to bring it down on the material, and hopefully create something at least slightly usable. He needed to start somewhere after all.

     ID# 52035 results:

And his start was a rusted dagger. Not even worth the material it was made from. Angrily, Alakir tossed it at the wall, and watched it dispel into polygons. Apparently its durability was really awful for that to happen. Guess he'd have to wait for tomorrow.

  9. As the next day dawned, Alakir re-entered his shop. When he did, he paused in his step, turning slowly, and caught sight of a box labelled "Starting materials". He paused for a few seconds, before facepalming at his stupidity. How had he missed the Quest rewards he had received for taking the profession? There were 19 of them! That would last him at least 9 days if he was really unlucky. Grinning, he hauled the box into the back, time to get started.

     ID# 52034 results:

     Craft: 4

And the first craft fizzled into polygons. It was like he was cursed!

  10. Alakir quelled the urge to smack the daydreamer upside the head for his foolish actions. He could have caused the death of the girl, and even himself! Shaking his head, Alakir looked to the girl. "Ah thank you miss. I was quite lucky i think, to kill it unscathed." He nodded his thanks, before turning back to the daydreamer. "Good. You do owe us for almost killing us." He joked. Smiling at the group, he turned to Ethereal, and questioned "So what's next then almighty sword master?" he quipped. That sword skill was impressive he had to admit.

  11. Deciding to simply use the one material he had, he went in to the backroom of his shop, prepared to perform his only craft of the day. He heated up the bellows, lay the material on the anvil, and prepared to strike whilst the iron was hot, as they say. He brought the hammer down. CLANG!

And produced a shoddy set of claws. Grunting at the poor quality, Alakir tossed the claws in frustration into the corner of the room before sighing in exasperation. God this was annoying.

  12. As he walked nearer to the centre of the town, he came ever closer to his shop, as serene as when he left it. He walked up to it, making to flip the sign over, before stopping, and simply looking around. The night was young, but was it worth it, staying open tonight? He guessed so, you never know when a customer will come in. Before he turned back, he took a quick glance about taking in his surroundings.

     ID# 51854 results:

     Loot: 5

Nothing but the wind blowing through the town. He entered the store.

  13. As he neared the gate into to the town of beginnings, he couldn't believe how little his efforts had rewarded him. He had only found one useful material! He needed to find somewhere he could buy them at this rate. It would increase his progress rate a lot, instead of him traipsing about for almost no gain. Giving off a huff of annoyance, he noticed his arrival at the time. He gave one last glance around.

    ID# 51853 Results:

    Loot: 13

Nothing again. What a horrible outing.

  14. Tired and a little downtrodden by the lack of materials he could find, his feet dragged as he walked back to town. He was getting rather annoyed with the system's seeming hate of him. He grumbled under his breath at his poor luck, glaring at the passive mobs, daring one to attack him, even though inside he knew he would be killed easily. Gulping at the morbid thought, he picked up his pace, moving quicker to town, keeping an eye out.

     ID# 51850 results:

     Loot: 5

    Nothing. Damn.

  15. Deciding to look on his way back to town, as the sun started to descend to it's evening cycle, he quickened his pace, still furtively looking for any sign of useful items. He noticed far fewer players out and about. Mobs were usually stronger and in higher numbers at night, and could even be a danger for higher level players if they were caught off guard. Being careful, he gave the field a glance.

     ID# 51849 results:

     Loot: 5

Sighing at his poor luck, he moved closer to town.

  16. As he turned around, he spotted a victorious party slay a single boar. Smiling at their enthusiasm, he nodded in their direction as a sign of congratulations. He turned to continue searching for any thing he could use. If he just got one more, he could do his craft attempts for the day, and leave the rest for tomorrow. After all, as long as he did that, he was making progress right? He looked at the ground in interest.

     ID# 51843 results:

     Loot: 12

Looks like he'd have to keep looking.

  17. Fired up from his first success, Alakir raised his fists, ignorant to the impending boar swarm, and lunged at the injured boar, ready to hopefully cut it down, and claim his first vicious victory against a mob creature. He ducked and weaved, slipping back in to his old stances and katas, before making the strike on the boar, aiming for the same flank he had slashed before.

     ID# 51841 results:

     Battle: 9 (CRIT!) (1+1+1) - 1 = 2

Digging his claws swiftly into the unbalanced boar, Alakir ripped upwards, tearing out pixels of light, before the boar exploded into polygons! He had done it!

    Boar 2 0/4HP | 1 MIT | 3 DMG

    _________________________________________________

    Hydra 20/20 HP | 4/6 Energy | 3 EVA | 2 DMG [Hate 0]

    Allania 4/4 HP | 0/1 Energy | 2 DMG [Hate 0]

  18. Humming a tune, Alakir walked along the plains, taking care not to aggro any mobs. He really didn't feel like dealing with the hassle at the moment. He just wanted to get the day's crafting out of the way, and get started, but he needed his materials. This part always was a hassle for him, he really needed to get a supplier or something, or else he'd be really slowing down his work pace, and he'd never take off.

     ID# 51840 results:

     Loot: 19

At least this area bore fruit it would seem. He picked up some leftover animal tusks and teeth, and placed them in his inventory. He needed more.

  19. As he searched in the fields of the first floor, he spotted numerous people lazing about and enjoying the lovely sunshine that was always high in the sky during day. He'd swear that there was no memory of it raining, but he hadn't really been paying much attention to that recently. He glimpsed a few parties killing boars, a task that was more dangerous than it looked, he could attest to. But, back to business.

     ID# 51834 results:

     Loot: 3

Nothing seemed to be here. The parties were apparently quite good at not missing anything. He'd need to keep looking.

  20. He wandered out, flipping the sign on his door to be back soon, and walked off into the town of beginnings, keeping his eyes peeled for anything he could use to craft his stock. He searched high and low on his way out of town, looking for the telltale glint items possessed when they could be looted. He smiled as he walked, appreciating the beauty of the town, and the bustling players everywhere.

     ID# 51833 results:

     Loot: 10

'Looks like I'll have to go further' he thought to himself as he left the town.

  21. Alakir unlocked the door, and walked into the back to search for any left over materials he could find. He needed the practice, or else he'd never fulfill his goal to be the most popular shop in all the 100 floors. He'd need to put his all into it, if he even wanted a chance at his goal. He rummaged around in the back of his store muttering to himself.

     ID# 51832 results:

     Loot: 5

Apparently, he was completely out. Looks like he'd have to go out searching again for more materials to use in his crafting.

  22. Laughing it off, Alakir walked into the front of the shop, Robin tailing behind him. "Well today was... Unlucky" He joked. Robin giggled at him. "I dunno about that. I found someone to fulfill my request for me." She replied, her mood going somber. "I want you to take this store." She said, resolutely. "The memories I have here are too painful... So I need someone to take it from me. That someone is you, Alakir." Shocked, Alakir Spluttered "But what will you do then? I feel awful taking your store!" Smiling Sadly, Robin shook her head. "I'm not staying. Not here... not in Aincrad. I want to join my partner." A cold shiver went down Alakir's spine. He knew the dark meaning behind her words, but could say nothing in response. Robin approached him slowly, raising a hand to Alakir's cheek, she gave a soft smile. "Thank you for helping fulfill a widow's last request. I can finally leave in peace, and join my lovely Eleanor in the afterlife." Grimly, Alakir reached up and squeezed Robin's hand. "I can't stop you... I know what it's like to lose someone so close to you, and it takes it's toll... but please, don't do this to yourself, please... don't leave me alone here." he trailed off getting quieter and quieter. Robin gave Alakir a small smile before leaning in and kissing his cheek. "You will find more people to care for Alakir. Treasure them, and make their lives better, the same way you have helped me. Thank you." And with that, Alakir couldn't move, as he watched his first and only friend in this hell, walk out his door. He stood there mute, as his mind struggled to cope with what had just happened. Slowly, his back to the wall, he slid into a sitting position, tears filling his eyes as he silently cried for Robin, hoping that she would be reunited with her lover Eleanor. As his sobbing continued, he was unaware of the exact moment of Robin leaving Aincrad, once and for all, to join her partner for eternity. He was alone in this world once more, but he at least had something to remember his friend by. Her shop, which he would transform into one of the most known Shops of all 100 Floors. With Grim determination, he stood, and walked up to the counter, his counter, and stood there. This was going to take some getting used to.

  23. Undeterred, Alakir merely turned to Robin. "That was just a test of course you know." He said sheepishly. Robin gave a small laugh "But of course. I know you'll do better this time. You've already done it once before. You can do it again." Smiling, Alakir nodded, before turning to his work. He raised the hammer, for the final time that day, and struck the material fast and hard. CLANG!
