Hate to say it, but I kinda see Crim's point. While Kay your ideas are good on paper, when executed it'll be a mess to handle.

Unless we have GMs who's job is to just do thread reviews, I don't think it's going to work. Even then it's not going to work because we're all human. For now Level=rank seems to be the best option until we can think of something else.

I deem this discussion open, but for the sake of RP starting, getting the ball rolling etc: Level = Rank is the way we're going to do it.

Would you guys rather do Ranks = Level or develop a sort of posting system where x number of rp posts = level?

Would it be less of a burden I wonder, on IF such an occasion happens, that at the time of obtaining a familiar, a player can describe or choose if the said familiar is either of companion level and takes little to no action in battle, or a battle pet, as such would act like a separate fighting entity.

Now this isn't giving immunity to the bests tames of companion is their status, it just means they could be left at 'home' or hidden away (is small) or even ordered to stay back, yet are still viable targets for attack from other players.

I actually think this is a neat idea and I would not mind giving this a trial run for a little while. If it gets too complicated for the GMs to handle then we'll discuss it, but so far I have no issues with this.

Honestly I don't want too much cluttering up the Siganture area and the Avatars it doesn't look like there's that much room left with the CM there. If the sprite team thinks they can handle it and find a way to make it work, I'd have no problem with it being in the avatar.

The Signature idea? Well I'd have to see an example before I completely shoot it down. Honestly though I think the stat bar signature is really all we'd need as far as signatures go.

I think that sounds really close to the show. If no one else has objections I say we're good.

I want to start finalizing the important ideas within the next week or so. Then we can start actually moving on to the RP itself.

Asuna because of her attitude as a fighter, and how she presents herself. She's probably my favorite character amongst all the series.

Col can be calculated simply with a chart: Monster Level = Col/Party Member Number. As long as we have a base Col for monsters by level. Put bosses on a separate field entirely as far as col is concerned and bam. Col distribution! Figuring out what's fair? Now that's an entirely different ballgame.

That linked account mod would be handy for this as well IMO.

Also I'd like to say for users: they would have to pick a main account at some point for AFO. It doesn't have to be the one they signed up with. So there'll be plenty of time for them to decide.
