  1. As the two contemplated on how to get around, a unfamiliar voice came booming behind them. With barely any words, the stranger began to tinker with it's HUD and offered to help the two. "Uh... What's your reason for helping?" Cook questioned without even offering up his name. It was sketchy how the stranger randomly showed up seemingly out of nowhere and offered the two help. His glaring red eye and callous voice didn't help much to give him any comfort. But for some reason the two began to follow him. He just had this different presence about him, separate from his outer appearance and his demeanor. As Smoke began to introduce themselves to the stranger, smoke also introduces Cook. He quickly follows it up with his own little remark. "Yep, names Cook. How's about givin' us name, stranger?" Cook's eyes kept a close watch on the stranger. He didn't fully trust him, but he also had some trust in him. It was odd and convoluted, but there's was a sense of some form of trust.

  2. Cook gave it some thought. He wasn't entirely sure about the whole joining in on the quest cause he wasn't sure if he can handle it, but knowing that Smoke himself was also new to the game and is also low leveled kind of gave him some sense of relief and assurance that he can handle it. "Sure..." he says, somewhat unsure but mostly sure. "Says here it's on the 2nd floor. Let's head there right quick." Cook quickly began to walk at a random direction before realizing he has no clue where to go.. "Uh... how do we get on the 2nd floor? Got a clue?" Cook stood there dumbfounded. He didn't exactly know where to go and what to do. He had heard something about a portal that ran between floors but where it was on this maze like town, he didn't know. "Hmm... I wonder where it could be." He thought to himself as he kicked over some pebbles in the streets cause he weak af.

  3. Cook's mouth was gaping as he was drooling profusely. This was the his first experience of food in this game, and he had never expected it to smell like real food. As pushed through the front door, he had felt a slightly resistance, but didn't took it to mind. He quickly rushed to the front counter of the the little restaurant where he tried not making a scene. "Chef! Teach me your ways!" He yelled out. He didn't want to yell out, but his craving just made his inhibitions  and reluctance to make a scene go away.

"Monsieur, he ask to learn my ways of cooking yet, you act so unrefined. I'll tell you what, collect materials for cooking, and mayhaps, I'll teach you a thing or two about proper cooking." The chef says condescendingly. He had no real intentions of teaching him, but there was a slight chance he will since he is after an NPC.

Cook, held back a rude remark as the chef gave him his little quest. As the chef gave him the quest, an actual window appeared Cook asking if he will accept the quest. He , of course, quickly pressed yes before heading towards the door. He wanted to get out of here before his anger exploded.

  4. Wandering the streets of the Town of Beginnings, Cook's minds was lost in thought of what he could do right now to level up. He had no plans at all to join the frontlines to help end this god forsaken death game, but he did want to earn strength to find his supposed "mother" in this game. As he was strolling about, he spots a somewhat familiar face glancing at some quest board of sorts. He quickly sticks his hands in his pocket and walks towards the familiar face.

"Yo, watcha up to?" He says as he questions the guy while looking at the board. There were multiple quests he could take up right now, but he wasn't sure if he could handle them at the level he's at right now. "You checkin' out quests I see. Mind if I join you? I need the experience. Which one you takin'?"

  5. Rushing around the maze-like streets of the Town of Beginnings, Cook found himself lost without any way of finding his way around. You see, he's a new player to this game. The last thing he saw was Kayaba and his little creep speech in the center and of town and now, Cook, is frantically trying to learn the ways of the game. That is, if he can find his way out of this town maze.

As he stood there with his mind wandering, a tantalizing scent came happening by his nostrils. "Roasted... Roasted beef! with so many herbs and spices!" His mouth began to salivate as he kept thinking about it all those spices. As he closed his eyes, his feet began to move on it's own following the scent. It wasn't long until he opened his eyes and there he already stood in front of a restaurant. Le Cafe, it was called. Within moments, he pushed through the front door and headed straight for the front counter.

  6. "Right!" Cook jutted up from his seat and stuck his hands for a hand shake. "I was wondering if you could mentor me to learning the ways of cooking in this world." Cook's face cracked an awkward smile as he started at the somewhat small chef in hopes of accepting his offer.

The small chef quiet sized up Cook. "What makes you so sure I would take you under my wing?"

Frantic, Cook responded quickly with, "The smell of your food was tantalizing. I had a need to learn from it's maker." It was short, but it was to the point.

Sizing up Cook once more, the small chef finally gave in. "Fine, collect materials for me in the fields and I'll teach you my ways." With that, the small chef turned around and began to walk towards the kitchen. Before he completely walked through the door, he let out one final note. "From now on, you can call me Chef Boyardee." Then proceeds to slam the door.

  7. Upon entering the site, Cook is welcomed with a series of intricate flavors and smells. His face slowly broke into a smile as this all reminded him of that one restaurant where he learn how to cook. "That it! I can get bearing here in this game by starting out with cooking." Focused on the task at hand, he began to search for the owner of the shop, perhaps they could mentor him. After a few minutes of asking, waiting and sitting, a fairly short plump man with an overgrown toque on his head walked out from the kitchen door. "Yes? Niko said you were waiting for me?" The short man talked in really heavy Italian accent.

  8. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to run into you like that." Cook frantically got up on his feet and stuck out his hand in hopes of appeasement. He never wanted to run into the white haired man, but the smell of food just rattled him up. It reminded him of his time working at a restaurant. Perhaps he should get back into doing that here. But first at the task at hand, before the stranger could get a chance to even - maybe - grab the blonde one's hands to shake, Cook turned around and began to follow the smell yet again. He was determined to find it's source.

After a few more steps, Cook arrives at a fairly sized restaurant. From the looks of it, it seems like it's an asian/european themed. He quickly barges into the shop without any further thought.

  9. Cook, casually wandered around the town of beginnings. "Where to begin?" He wondered. He had just recently made his first few steps in the game after Kayaba had spoken his speech and well, basically messed around with everyone's aesthetics. It didn't bother cook one bit, however, he was true to his nature. A fairly tall guy with blonde hair, in game and out.

As he wandered the streets, a familiar smell happened to come about his nose. "Pepper, soy sauce, sugar.." The smell became intoxicating. He hasn't smelled these flavors in a long time. Following his nose, he runs towards the direction of the shop. Unfortunately, from all his hastiness, he didn't see a random stranger walk before him and so he crashed into the stranger.

    History

Ever since he was a young boy, Khan worked hard to stay alive. His parents abandoned him when he was young and he has lived in an orphanage since. At the ripe age of 16, he went off to join the military where he learned to survive, among other stuff. He stayed in the military until 23 where he grew tired of the military life. He decided to take it easy. He found a job at a local restaurant as a bus boy. Soon, however, he worked his way up. Eventually getting to the kitchen where he learned the wonders of cooking.

One day, he receives a package from an unknown sender. Ripping through the wrapping, he finds a box that says Nerve Gear and a letter from what seems to be his mother.

"Khan, you may not know me, but I know you very, very well. I visited you from time to time at the orphanage. I could never get the courage to say something to you. Come find me. I am your mother."

That's all it said. It gave him no name to search for or who where to go. His only clue was this helmet. Without a second thought, he straps on the helmet and jumps straight in.

Upon entering, the thing that caught his eyes the most was the name Cook. He grew frantic. Why does he have a name and account set up already. Who is Cook? Then it finally hit him. His last name is Cook. All his life, he has gone with just the name, Khan. Now it feels like a part of him is complete. Stepping forward, he walked in determination to find his mother, who he thinks could be in this game somewhere.

    Virtue

    Hardworking
One of the most prominent thing about Khan is that he's hardworking. Not only physically, but mentally, he's hardworking. There are sometimes where he'd work his butt to exhaustion where he passes out. Probably not a good thing for him, but no one complains. You can never find another hardworking guy as much as this guy.

    Focused
Khan is one of those people where if he focusing on something, he focuses on that one thing. One he has his mind set on something, he will work hard to get to that goal. Almost nothing could stop him. He has always believed that whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve it. That saying has never failed him once in his 24 years of existence.

    Confident
This probably goes with his first and most obvious flaw of that he's very... very blunt. Along with his straightforwardness, he has a very confident nature about him. Often at times doing things himself, rather than letting others do it for him as he's confident in his work. He's confident in himself in fights if he were to ever get involved in any fights - probably due to his childhood of always getting into fights.

    Flaws

    Blunt
Even the term I'm using is blunt. Khan is a very straight forward kind of guy that like to get straight to the point. He hates going around and around on the subject, often thinking that all it's doing is a waste of time. Because of this flaw of his, he often comes out as rude, but you know what? Khan doesn't care. If you don't like him, oh well.

    Impatient
I lost count on however many times Khan took matters into his own hands. His impatience holds no bounds. Seriously, If someone is task to do something and they don't do it right away, he goes and does it himself. He won't say anything, but you'll know when he's lost his patience.

    Short Tempered
It pretty much goes without saying, Khan is really short tempered. If he has to wait for something, he'll quickly lose his patience and do it himself. He's a simple man with simple needs. If you're not gonna do it, then why bother even saying anything in the first place? Move, cause you'll only get in the way of Khan from doing your own work.
