In my act of clumsyness, the boar gores my backside, dealing a double crit worth 5 DAM.

  5. Before I decide to attack another boar, I decide to take a look at my fellow players in this world. I see many average players, standard cloth and sword setup, just like mine. But I see a larger fellow, moving from one boar to the next, it appears he took the chest piece and war hammer instead. He is definitely above everyone else's league. I decide I might as well just continue, I don't want to fall behind.

My health appears as full again and the boar I killed earlier is respawned. I gather up the strength and approach it once more thinking "This should be the last one I need to kill before I level up."

  7. As I walk, I see several people like me, just lone players, looking to fight it out for themselves. Or maybe they just don't have anyone else to fall back upon. Nevermind them, I have a goal to achieve, I need to find another farming area, somewhere I can just fight by myself. There's a woman I see, she can't barely bring herself to fight, it looks like her child is with her, she must have been dragged into this by her son. The boar rears back, and I see her disappear, just as the boar I defeated did, I can't bear to watch. I run ahead, not looking back.

It appears I've found it, the edge of the lvl 1 spawn fields, there appears to only be about a dozen players here. I decide that this is as good of a place as any to settle down and level up. I approach the first boar, it appears to have 12 HP now, but still only 3 attack, good.

  8. As I finish the fight, I look up to see hundreds of other players in the same field as me, I decide to loot the creature and head forward.

     MOB: 1

I gain 30 col, other than that I find nothing of use.

And thus, my journey begins. I see the road heads down further, I decide to see where it takes me.

  9. Soon enough, I make it out of the Town of Beginnings. Before me I see a large field full of lvl 1 Boars. I carefully walk around the edge of the mob field, cautious not agro any of them. Once at the back of the field, I take a deep breath, saying to myself "I'd better start before everyone else gets out here." I take my first swing.

  10. After realizing that I am now stuck in this world, I decide I'd better make the best of it. But then it crosses my mind, I'm now living in a video game. What am I going to do? Well, I guess I'll start off with the only thing I know to do. I'll separate from the main crowd and start grinding for levels. So I start my long walk to the edge of the lvl 1 mob fields.

  11. Deedazbeeda's History

My real name is Bradley, I am 19 years old and 5'8". I was born and raised in Illinois and moved into Chicago after High School. There I attend IIT studying Mechanical Engineering. I have a fascination of most of the sciences, with an exception of chemistry. Some of my hobbies are reading, gaming, and making RPGs using rpg maker. I'm not really good and only use it as a pastime. I just finished freshman year and am looking forward to year two as I step into some harder classes.

School has never been hard for me as I tend to learn quickly. Though I've struggled to keep my grades up as I have trouble doing the work accompanying the classes. I have one brother who is currently in the national guard. My brother Jared is the one who introduced me to game design and RPGs, though he doesn't play them often. Thus I feel separate from my family as I sit staring at a computer screen all day.

    Virtues

Patient: My past in video game design and usage has taught me much in the field of patience. I am able to sit and wait for the right time to strike, or take the time to grind up the experience needed for the next level. I often like to take the time to solve a difficult problem when it comes across my path.

Intelligent: Taking the time to think and decide on situations is of value for me. My past in game design had taught me much I needed to know before I stepped into the world of SAO. People and creatures will find it hard to break my mind.

Open Minded: I am always looking for new opportunities, I guess that's a reason why I decided to hop onto SAO. This allows me to not need to face the first enemy I see dead on. I like seeing the other side to a problem.

    Flaws

Independent: I don't like to look to other's for help. I've always been alone my whole life, little friends to keep me company. You will rarely see me with a companion.

Gullible: I may be smart, but I listen to others' words. I tend to place too much trust in fellow players. My intelligence may be strong, but I tend to not think as much when facing other people.

Naive: I tend to feel I outmatch many of my fellow players, so I tend to put my brawn before my brain in the worst of situations. Though I have the ability to think about every situation,  I will constantly feel  as though I can go in unprepared. I tend to take bets I don't necessarily think I can win.
