As they wandered around the fields of the first floor. Hikari then pulled out his sword and signaled to the group. he then crept forward and got into a battle with the boar.

he hit the boar dead on but wasn't able to kill it. as he hit the boar then head butted him out of the way making him lose most of his HP. "Dammit!" he shouted as he turned to the group and signaled them to attack. he then got up, dusted himself off and watched the others fight the boar.

"Sure you can come too." he said as he stood up and put his notebook back into his inventory. "Shall we go then?" he asked as he equipped his noob sword. he scratched the back of his head and laughed "As you can see I'm a noob!" as he started to walk out of the inn with the four of them. on the way out of the city he asked the three of them "So, do you guys know any good farming spots?" as he started to walk backwards and smiled. As he was walking backwards he accidentally stood in a hole and fell over. "owch!" he said as he postured himself back up and dusted off his back. they then walked out of the town of beginnings and into the fields of the first floor...  

"Hikari, and what do you mean I looked interesting?" he said as he looked up from the sketchbook. He noticed that him and the boy looked similar in both build and appearance. 'That's weird, he looks a lot like me...' his thought was then interrupted when a girl walked into the pub and introduced herself to the three of them. "Hey the names Hikari, Hiki for short, and of course you can tag along." he said as he looked back up from his sketchbook again and smiled at the girl. 'She's quite pretty..' he thought to himself and continued to draw...

When Jonathan came over and said that he was a good artist he looked up and smiled. "Oh, really? I was just sketching because I was bored..." When he introduced him self taka stood up, held out his hand and said "Oh, my names Hikari but you can call me Hiki if you want!" as he smiled. he then thought to himself 'Yes! time for the critical strike!' he turned his head and asked Jonathan "So what brings you to the inn?" as he sat back down and scooted over to let Jonathan sit down with him...

Hikari sat in the town center of the first floor. He hadn't even killed a single monster yet and he wanted to complete the game. "ARG! I'm not getting anywhere just sitting in the town center!" he shouted as the people passing by gave him strange looks. "Sorry!" he said as one person walked past still staring at him. He then wandered around town for a bit until he found a poster stuck up on a wall. 'Having trouble finding people to party up with? come down to Brock's pub & inn and we're sure you'll be able to find someone to help you kill those pesky monsters!' was written on the poster with a picture a man holding  his thumb up and smiling. 'Well, it's the only chance we've got at getting a new friend...' he thought to himself as he started to walk over to the inn. He then walked in to the bell above the door ringing and the woman at the the bar greeting him. he smiled at her and sat at the nearest unoccupied table that was near a window. he sighed and looked around the pub. their was around 40 people in the pub and it was only 12 o'clock. As he sat there he thought 'Okay Hikari, lets do something interesting that could be a possible conversation starter! Oh, I know!" as he opened his inventory and got out the empty booklet he was handed by some guy the day before and started to draw what he could see outside the window...

personality: Hikari is a very enthusiastic and Confident person in the most part. His idea of fun would be fighting low level monsters and hanging out with his friends. He likes spicy food, making people happy, pets and girls. On the flip side he doesn't like sweet food, spiders, more spiders, making people sad, people who PK.

History: Before SAO Hikari had always wanted to make lots of friends. At school he was the kid who sat on his own with no one to talk to. His only friends were his little sister and older brother. Hikari had never really had parents due to them dying when he was young. From what his brother had told him they were good people, much better than his grandfather. You see, when his parents died Hikari and his siblings were sent to live with there grandfather (On his mothers side). His grandfather was a very old fashioned man. whenever they would do something wrong they were beaten for it. The only good thing about his grandfather was sometimes very understanding. Whenever his sister did something bad he always took the blame for it. When his brother turned twenty he decided to let Hikari and his sister move into his new house. It was small but it wasn't that bad of a place to live. At this time he was thirteen and was midway threw middle school. Due to this he didn't make many friends and when he did they just forgot about him. Around the time he turned fourteen a new game had been announced "Sword art online" for the new nerve gear system. Hikari was so excited for this new game and the nerve gear. He ended up saving all of his money so that he could get the game from the moment it came out.

Virtues:

Funny: Hikari is a very comedic person. He always know what to say to cheer someone up and make them laugh. When he does make someone laugh it makes him happy but when he can't cheer them up with that he struggles to handle the situation.

Energetic: Hikari is also a very energetic person. He's always running about or talking a mile a minute. Due to this some people tend to mark him off as a annoying person.

Lucky: Hikari has very frequent strokes of luck. He's either making friends easily or finding some money on the floor. Even out of SAO he has always had exceptional lucky streaks.

Flaws:
Stupid: Hikari has always been a idiot. He always used to get low scores on his test. he struggles with math the most. Due to his stupidity he isn't able to recognize subtle signs making him a very dense person.

cocky: Hikari thinks way to highly of himself. he will usually underestimate his opponents. due to this he normally acts like he can kill anything that gets in his way which normally ends up in him looking like a fool.

Ignorant: Once Hikari has his mind set he can't usually be persuaded to think differently. He got this mind set from his grandfather before him. Because of this Hikari is normally not open to many ideas which may cause conflict.

Hikari rested on his bed and took a deep breath 'Time to test this game out!' he thought as he placed the nerve gear onto his head. "Link start!" He shouted as his body stop moving and he logged into the game. He arrived in the town center with his username 'Hikao' hovering above his head. His character was a pale skinned blonde boy with light blue eyes which he tried to make resemble him as best he could but just settled with the generic character with blonde hair. He walked around for a bit and talked with people for a bit before he went to log out. "What? where's the log out button?" he asked him self seeing that it had disappeared from the options menu. As soon as he knew it he had been teleported back to the town center. The sky turned red and a giant man was hovering in the sky. He explained how he was the creator of the game and gave everyone a mirror that turned them into their real selves (Appearance wise anyway). The man in the sky then went on to say that they were all trapped inside the game until someone beat all 100 hundred floors and that if they died in game they died IRL. Everyone started to panic. Some were running around like headless chickens and others just sat there and cried. Hikari did neither of these two things. He simply got up and leaned on the fountain in the center and waited form someone who saw the situation in the same light as him to walk over. 'I should really be freaking out by now but there's only one thing we can do. Try and beat the game. I need to wait for someone to come over to me and talk. Then I'll bring up the topic of joining up as a party with him/her and hopefully they'll say yes.' He then sat down and waited for someone to approach him...
