    <<ARMAROS>>

    Real Name: Tobias Richards

    Age: 17

    Birthday: November 7

    Gender: Male

    Height: 6'11"

    HISTORY

Tobias was originally born in San Diego, California, in a military family. When his parents divorced when he was 4, his mother brought him to a small town in Virginia, where she was raised. He has been a bit of a loner, a meek intellectual thrown in among aggressive and/or stupid people, and thus secluded himself, leading to being bullied for most of his childhood. This sparked an intense hatred of people, and later, misanthropy. His mother was well off, so she tried anything to give her Toby joy, a reason for him to smile. That came when he got his first video game at 10.

Using this newfound release of tension that's building in his body, he threw himself into this new venue of obsessive focus. If someone were to try to pry the little Gameboy out of the kid's hands, he would go into a rage. He eventually grew out of this, but it was still clear that he can be kinda...engrossed. He ignored the world with spite, and instead preferred a world where you can do whatever you want to improve the world, developing a god complex when playing a video game and a sense of nervousness in the real world. He refused to speak to anyone, and anyone who tried either got ignored or yelled at to leave him alone. Finally, his mother and step-father decided to get SAO when it first came out for their antisocial son, seeing it as a bridge between the real world and the game world. When he got home from the store, the first thing he did was slap on his brand-new Nerve-Gear and began playing.

His reaction when it was revealed that he couldn't log out or die was a combination of fear of death and joy that he is now in a world of heroes as he's always wanted. Unfortunately, his mind is subconciously trying to decide if to use real-world Toby or Game Toby(from this point forward as Armaros out of a short name to call this half or his personality), causing either him to do deadly, insane acts to help people or panic and put himself first, either become a coward or a martyr. Currently, he learning to control both halves of his personality as a sort of survival mechanism.

    VIRTUES

Ambitious: If Armaros says he will do something, he will put it first. Of course, this will only happen if what he believes in what is being said. He can be stubborn to action otherwise.(See Procrastinator in Faults) Toby, on the other hand, can and will help people to the ends of the earth, on the condition that he can stop helping at any time. Despite this, he doesn't leave until he's sure that they're okay enough to help themselves.

Creative: Toby actually writes stories on his free time in the outside world. When he's in a good mood, he can actually be entertaining to listen to. His stories are original, some inspired by previous games he's played. On the other hand, Armaros can piece together an insane idea that so stupid that it can theoretically work! Like throwing a boar at another boar, for example. Or catapulting yourself into a castle to get inside. Though the Toby half does ninety-nine percent of all statigizing

Logical: Both halves can reason their way through most of their fights, making them efficient at beating AI. This can extend to PvP if Toby's careful and watch his step. Natually, being somewhat suicidal and crazy, Armaros can out-think his opposing player by not thinking at all, in a weird "so-stupid-it-makes-sense" kind of way. This is literally the only way I can describe this phenomenon

    FAULTS

Proud: When either half does help, they want to help his way. This usually leads into situations where he takes on the mantle of leader or arguing about the correct course of action with the proper leader. Even when he is aware of being incorrect, only half of the time will he concede the point, and it's nearly always Armaros.

Procrastinator: As a flip-side of his ambition, he will not raise a finger unless forced or inspired into action. This stems from him spending hours on video games instead of socializing, the reason that Armaros mostly exhibits this quality, instead of Toby. Fortuately,

Competitive: He does whatever he can to win, and absolutely hates to lose. This leads to obsessive desires to beat those he was beaten by. Obviously, this can get him hurt or killed on those mountains he used to grind for XP.
