Medusa

Medusa hissed as she felt freedom in her body once more. She could feel it. The voice of death beckoning to her from beyond this plane. She knew there was no escaping its embrace so she intended to do what she could to harm them as best she could. Roaring a death cry she hefted her scimitar and charged Miaki! Her blade poised before to run him through as it shined with a light all its own.

But unfortunately rubble from the partially collapsed ceiling tripped make her fall to the floor as the light in her blade shattered leaving her prey to what would come next...

Medusa growled at Miaki and friends as they hit her. She spared them each no more then a passing glance. She then decided that if it would kill her she'd take one of them with her! She looked towards the one she had immobilized. She inhaled and sprayed green liquid towards him!

(Attack on Daeron. Rolled 9 Crit. No status effect just damage.)

She hissed in delight as it struck home.

Medusa advanced towards the one she had rendered harmless intent on ending him. Then she heard the phrase "you monster" tossed at her. She yowled like a cat. She turned to face the insult hurler, Miaki. She moved very fast her scimitar flashing in the light.

(Singular Regular Attack. Rolled 1. Failed.)

But she moved too fast and missed Miaki.

Medusa screeched like a banshee. Her royal image was getting tarnished and she SO hated that. Looking to the one who made a blow count for its worth she hissed at him. Daeron was the name she thought not that she cared about her victims identity. Grabbing him around the torso pinning his arms to his side in the process she lifted him up and stared into his eyes as they flashed with a light like a Sword Art's...

(Daeron was struck with paralysis. Rolled 10 Skill worked at critical. He can't post for 3 cycles.)

And was rewarded with a glorious white flash as she felt his body lock as current of yellow energy raced around his from hindering his movement she threw him down and moved in for the kill.

Medusa roared she was turning into a real monster with her attitude at the moment. She looked once more at the puny mortal who harmed her. She slid over to Keith grabbed him, tossed him into the air, and swung her scimitar at him which pulsed with light.

(Singular Attack targeting Keith. Rolled 10 Critical)

It gave a very satisfying flash of light as the blow hit Keith hard.

Medusa screeched loud enough to break glass. She started spitting acid again.

(AOE Attack. Rolled 1. Failed)

But poor aim prevailed once more.

Medusa was SO displeased. She destroyed the ceiling of her home and it was for nothing. The mortals puny attacks were irritating her too. Then somehow she felt it. One of the vermin's strikes had entrapped her. Making her a prisoner in her own party. Beneath the surface she seethed. She would unleash the fury of the underworld upon them all! The second she felt her body in her control she locked eyes with the one who had immobilized her. Shanok she thought its name was. Eyes lighting up red she moved impossibly fast and grabbed the player with one hand, tossed him up in the air, and using her scimtar swiped at him in a flash of sickly green light.

(Attack on Shanok. Sword Skill FAILED)

But all she did was send him flying across the room. She hissed, now enraged.

Medusa screamed like a bloody harpy as the attacks hit her. She more or less slammed parts of her body down on the floor and was content to let parts of the ceiling cave in on them. Luckily it missed.

Medusa stopped the spinning attack and stood up straight. Hefting her scimitar he raised it up and pulsed with a blood red light. She spun into a new spinning assault. It missed, the spun ended, and she looked dizzy.

Medusa screamed. These worms! These vermin! They dare hurt her! SHE! IS! PERFECTION! Lying down on the floor with a claw on one side her scimitar on the other ready to strike. She basically started to spin like a top lashing out to anyone with reach.

(Rolled 10. AOE attack crit!)

Medusa parried attacks and took damage. She frowned and didn't feel like rending people with her blade. She took a deep breath and started spitting acid. Her aim was poor though.

Medusa hissed in pleasure at the feeble attempts to injure her. She pretty much knocked them aside with her tail and and as for the one who actually HAD hit her Daeron she clawed him in the face.

Rolled 9 on Daeron. Attack Crits.

Medusa cried out as katana hit her. Taking her shield she more or less back handed Miaki against the slimy walls. Daeron swung at her next. She growled. She swung with her scimtar. Knocking him back a few feet. She smirked as the next warrior stumbled mid attack. She smirked. She lashed with her tail and more or less slammed him against the wall. The next one cried a warning. She threw her shield like a discus abandoning it and let him bop him across the head.

(AOE attack damage dealt is the same for all.)

The warriors stood ready, she could smell them. Her doors swung open with a loud creaking noise. She opened her eyes. She could see the puny mortals who dared trespass on her domain. I raised my claws, the fingers that so resembled theirs. SNAP! The room lit up in a dazzling array of green, blue, and yellows. My precious babies hisses atop my head as they moved ready to attack. My lower half that of the snake ripped back and forth as I amused myself glancing upon my latest toys and meal. I hiss in delight. I take the iron scimitar in my right claw, and the gold shield in my left from their places on the floor. My eyes flash with a light on their own. I stare down those who would slay me as the banner announcing my regality materialized. Medusa, the Snake Lady. The battle for passage onwards has begun.
