  1. The sudden small party that was about to happen filled Hypa's mind a little too much. He became a little out of it for a few moments as they talked, but eventually snapped to attention. They were requesting food or something? Right. Hypa thought for a little while, and replied with a simple "I'm good." and it was kind of true. He had just ate, and wasn't going to steal someone's hard earned col away. He hadn't really earned or spent much col anyway, so taking someone else's felt more wrong. Plus, he had never really planned for a party to happen, so it was giving him too many thoughts to keep up with the good yet mind boggling situation. "Treat yourself! Not me!" Hypa said after, nervously worrying that they would think he was extremely upset, because he was only a little sad.

  2. Hypa couldn't help but laugh. A bunny, happily circling around his head as a girl tried to get him down. It was comical. He looked upward to the rabbit, circling his head to the motion of the familiar. He then looked down to his pouch. Maybe he stiffed this? He thought to himself. He then diverted his attention to the girl who attempted to be apologetic, but it didn't really work in her favor.

"Oh, no. It's fine! Actually, this little rabbit's really cute. What's their name?"  Hypa asked, trying to make light of the flying bunny. He brushed his hair backward with his hand and gave out another small giggle. It was hilarious to see the disobedient familiar and it's seemingly innocent owner. But knowing most people in SAO, she was probably not one to be messed with. Maybe I can ask her to help me... no, that's really rude. Hypa thought, seeming a little out of it when he did. He's known to get lost in thought sometimes.

  3. Hypa began tossing the bag up and down, feeling the weight. It was light, almost as if nothing was in it. A familiar would be nice, someone to be with on this long journey. Maybe it would even give him enough motivation to join the front lines. This was his dream, but he never really made much of an effort to make his way there. In the corner of his eye, Hypa noticed a winged bunny happily staring at him. A winged bunny wasn't much of a shock over most other things in this world. It was quite normal, actually.

Beside it stood a seemingly young girl, younger than him anyway. She was also observing him. For her to get that familiar, she must have taken this quest too, right? He thought to himself. A faint voice in his head told him to ask her for help, but it would have seemed odd and a little creepy. He gave her a calm smile, still throwing the bag up in the air. "Where to start..." Hypa accidentally said out loud. He searched his general area, before referring to the man. "Over here then?" He asked himself, subtly pointing to the right of him. A short path lead to a quite large town square, and it seemed a little full.

Noticing the girl still looking, he decided he'd shout something over to her. There seemed to be just npc's, so no point not doing in. "Hey there!" He yelled down the path. He had cupped his hands in order to project his voice. Hypa was particularly bubbly today, so he felt slightly more confident than he was, and that wasn't to be taken lightly considering his almost delusional level faith.

  4. Hypa was walking through the Town of Beginnings like he normally did. He didn't really leave floor 1 that often, let alone the town. He had been aimlessly walking the streets, grinding the low level enemies for little or no profit. He had expected it would be another uneventful day, of strolling around with no reason. But he had noticed an out of place npc in the streets. It was quite irregular for npc's to change where they go unless they were offering a quest. Hypa decided he'd approach the old woman that was hobbling through the market. She seemed quite kind. When he had reached her, she turned to him a little abruptly. She spoke in a soft tone, containing wisdom. "Hello there, son. What brings you to this town?" Hypa stuttered a little, before replying. "Hi! I spend most of my time here. It can be a little lonely."

The lady replied, a smile spread across her wrinkled face. "Ah, I see. Have you ever considered getting a companion? A pet, perhaps?" Hypa smiled back at her. "A pet? I've seen a few people with some, but I've never known how to get one." The old lady laughed slowly, holding out a small pouch. "Here. In this pouch you'll find some food for animals. Use this to give to a wild animal. Hopefully it'll take the bait and like you!" Hypa reluctantly took it. "Are you sure I can take it?" The woman laughed again. "Of course. Every man needs a friend!"

    Quest Started!

The woman slowly walked off. "Thanks!" The old lady gave him a wave, before disappearing around a corner. Hypa stared down at the bag, smiling. Quests don't normally come to him on a silver platter, but this one did. It was honestly a welcome change. But he didn't really know what to do, other than give it food and hope it works. He continued staring at the pouch. "I'll probably need some sort of help..."

  5. Everyone was being extremely friendly. The girl had sent him a friend request, the person watching had tried to console him and a third person asked to join in. Hypa loved this, nobody really approached him at all, let alone start a little party. This was already the happiest he'd been in forever. He eagerly accepted the request, a genuine smile perched on his happy face. "S-sure! Join in!" Hypa said to the man who had just walked in. "I'd rather just relax, if it's okay with you all. I'm stewing over something." Hypa's smile didn't break, he was attempting to seem strong, but it probably wasn't working. He felt as though he wasn't allowed to unload his entire life onto three random strangers. He just wanted to enjoy himself for a day, nothing else. He could worry about his problems when it doesn't involve other people.

  6. "Party?" Hypa said, before stutteringly adding "Y-yeah! Why not?" He glanced over at Simba, before returning his attention to Reinka. She seemed to want to comfort Hypa, and he welcomed this."Sorry to go all sad on you. Like I said, this really isn't me." Hypa took a long breath in and then out. He laughed a little, tilting his head. This was the happiest he'd been in months, and it didn't take much at all. He took a sip of his drink. He let out a long sigh, smiling. This woman was really kind.

"Anyway! Party it is!" Hypa said in delight, a touch of happiness in his life. This girl was really friendly. Not many people have approached him except a few people wanting to fight, so it was a welcome change. "Let's just have a great time, and forget all the troubles for now. We can worry about those later!"

  7. Hypa looked up to the friendly girl, who revealed her name was Reinka. She seemed surprisingly friendly. Maybe she was like this once? Hypa managed to fake a smile, and tilted his head. "Yea, there's a lot of problems I'm having recently." Hypa's forced expression faded into sadness a little. "Sorry, this really isn't like me. Hi. Name's Hypa. Yea, you can sit here. Why not?" He put his arm out, signaling to a handshake. How was this girl strong enough to go out there and live in this world? It was obvious she was more of an adventurer, and she'd at least done one or two things out there, risking her life. Hypa couldn't do that in his state. He was permanently mourning over nothing. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but he was scared. Scared of dying. Scared of failing.

Hypa had noticed someone curiously watching their conversation. He didn't really mind. What could they want from him or her?

  8. Hypa had spent a while in the Town of Beginnings, too afraid to leave. He had kitted himself out, and readied himself, but once he understood the consequences of being in this world, he had gotten scared. He would normally aimlessly wander around the town, looking for something to do that wasn't risking his life. Inside, Hypa wanted to be clearing out the floor bosses, to be sung as a hero, but he could never bring himself to do it. This wasn't Hypa. Hypa must have left. What's the point in having a shield when you're only going to protect yourself? This is something he thought to himself over and over again.

Hypa had found himself in the tavern once again, drinking away his fear in hopes it would help. He noticed a few other people mingling among themselves, and most of them seemed alright. Hypa sighed, and the giggled a little. He sipped his drink, wiping his mouth. "Jesus, what am I doing?" He said to himself, making a few patrons of the bar look over, before returning to their conversations.

    Real name: Enerugi Motte

    Age: 23
    Gender: Male
    Height: 6"2"

    About: History/personality

Enerugi was quite the performer. At the age of 8, being in the spotlight had been his number one dream, and he put his ideals to work. By 10, he was performing on stage, but only in front of small crowds filled of parents not there for him. His father loved this, watching him grow in the limelight. It had been his father's dream too, but he had given up because he didn't make it. But Enerugi was going to live up to be what his father failed to do. Enerugi's mother didn't approve of him, but couldn't bring herself to stop him. So she lived in his and his father's shadow.  Enerugi, or En for short, would sing, dance and act on stage, doing musical theater primarily up until he was 15. Then, he got his first contract. He was hired as a temporary character in a detective series, where he would die in the first few minutes. It wasn't his favorite start, but a start none the less.

After a little while, the jobs became larger, and paid more. By the time he had moved out of his parent's house, he was making as much money as his father. Life was going good for him, until he had been told that his father had been killed. It was a mass murder in a small village that they lived in, taking 7 people's lives, including his father. Enerugi was broken for a year. He turned down every job he got, even though he knew his father would have wanted him to carry on. His mother changed, becoming more understanding of her son. They became closer, but not so much. After his period of mourning, En went back to his life. After a few years more, he heard of a new innovation: The Nerve Gear. It had came out, along with an MMO named Sword Art Online. En wasn't really much of a gamer, but he wanted to try something new. So he did. He had managed to receive a copy, to which some people hated him for because he had it and they didn't. And then, he started it up. Enerugi was named after his extremely vivid and active personality. He could never sit still, and would always be talking. He was quite content with his life, being almost permanently happy, and able to smile through the hardest of times(Except his father's death). He also loves attention, permanently needing the spotlight on him.

    Virtues:

His kindness. Enerugi will always see other's more important than himself, and feels a need to protect them, friend or foe. He cares for others deeply, giving more than he takes for the sake of others. He will die before someone else does, making him a great friend to stick around with.

Confidence. En can always find the silver lining, giving a little hope to him and his friends. He will never flee from a fight, feeling as though he can always win if he tries hard enough. This makes him persistent, and this makes him the perfect front line fighter.

Charisma. En can never stop talking, so you'd think he'd be good at it by now. He is great at talking his way out of situations, and is also good at body language and also singing. He can manipulate people with convincing lies, or he can be quite the deceptive person. He can also keep spirits up, singing and talking.

    Flaws:

Enerugi can be a little too nice for his own good sometimes, sparing even enemies that would put a sword to his neck. This could sometimes put teams in tight spots if they're ever in PvP. He can give people second chances like they're nothing, sometimes resulting in large consequences.

En can sometimes randomly space out in deep thought, in almost any situation. He thinks about his strategies a lot, sometimes going blank for a while. This can leave him and his friends open for a while, while Enerugi can think about what to do next.

Confidence. Despite being confident being a good thing, it can also mean you get a little too confident, walking into situations you probably won't come back out of. En is guilty of this, and has a tendency to be over confident. This makes him sometimes not trust-able, because of his recklessness.

    Story Thus Far

  11. I've came to this site after just finishing watching the GGO part of SAO. I do have roleplaying experience before, in places like RPNation and on WoW, but I kinda wanted to join the fun! I've had a quick look around, but I'm not sure where to start.
