William (Fang) is an American heir to a large oil company, so when he heard of the potential of Sword Art Online, he jumped at the opportunity to buy the game. Since his father was a prominent business figure, Fang was more or less bribed into the first 10,000 to play the game. While he grew up with a caring father who would give him the world, his mother was abusive, making Fang get nervous around most women. After his mother was arrested, Fang went into a depression, focusing all of his time and effort into video games. He particularly has an interest in MMORPGs like Sword Art Online.
Fang is a strong silent type, and with him being high functioning autistic, he doesn't really know how to properly socialize. While he is large and strong enough to crush a human skull, he is more of a gentle giant. He however, is overprotective of those he cares for, and will go into a virtually uncontrollable rage, which can only be calmed by (irony alert) a female. Fang gets very nervous in large crowds, and has a slight chance to go into a panic attack if there is too much "input".
