[SP-F4] Solo Hunting Expedition 4

Nobuyuki have been wandering in the snowy forest, seeking out Mats to supply for his shop, and complete an order. Looking around, he saw something, a pack of wolves all grouped up. Testing his skills, and luck, he drew his sword and went for the surprise attack. Nobuyuki activate the strongest AoE sword art he had at the moment and aimed toward the four wolves. Surprised by the attack, they stood no chance against an attack that strong. With his sword traced a square figure, Nobuyuki ended his attack with all four wolves bursting into million pieces in the air. Sheathed his sword to behind his back, he chucked slightly. He had gotten much stronger than the day he first started, when he could barely use a sword art.

Sighed, Nobuyuki continued on wandering in the snowy field. While roaming, he thought of how things has changed. He wouldn't say it was pleasant times, as for most of this time, he have to fight for his life. But nonetheless, it have been good times. From a boy who locked himself in his room, with no social life all except in a virtual world. He had been much more active, and more willing to go around and interact with others. Motivate by beating the Death Game, he continued on forward.

"Well, times to get back to work I suppose." Nobuyuki shrugged as he continue on searching for more Mats. looking around in the Frost Cherry bushes, all Nobuyuki found was unripe ones. These cherries would usually be bright red once they are ripe, and light icy blue when it wasn't ready to be pick. Sighed in disappointment, he moved on to a different area, hoping to find more ripe Frost Cherries.

Walking around for a few more minutes, Nobuyuki found another Frost Cherries bush. The dark blue color of the leaves covered with a layer of white snow on top, and on the bushes scattered red cherries. On Nobuyuki's face grew a smile of satisfaction. Finally he found something that he was looking for. Picking the Frost cherries off the bush, Nobuyuki had a feeling he was being watch. From behind, he could hear a growling. Turned around to face three more Snow Wolf, Nobuyuki quickly put the cherries into his inventory and sheathed his sword, ready to attack.

The three wolves all attack at the same time, leaving Nobuyuki no time to react. He tried to swing his sword at one of the wolf, but the attack missed, leaving Nobuyuki vulnerable for an attack. The first wolf bit him in his arm, dragging him down. Trying to keep his ground, Nobuyuki saw another wolf incoming. He raised his leg and kicked the wolf as it was coming in for an attack. However, as he kicked the wolf away, the third one chomped on his leg bard. With Nobuyuki pinned down, he found himself in a sticky situation.

Nobuyuki tried his best to shook all the wolves off him. He kicked the wolf aside, and shook the one biting his hand off. With his sword at ready, Nobuyuki quickly activate his sword art and swung his sword upward. The blade cleaved through the wolf, dealing half of the wolf total damage. The other two began to attack Nobuyuki. He took a step back, dodging the first attack, then ducked under the second one. However, the numbers game caught up to him, as the third wolf caught him in his back. Tumbled across the ground, he repositioned himself facing the three wolves, sword ready for another attack.

Nobuyuki had his eyes focused onto the wolves. They growled, as the three wolves began to surrounded him. The first one charged at him relentlessly. Saw the attack coming, Nobuyuki quickly ducked aside, as the second attack. With his feet burrowed into the snow, Nobuyuki make a swift kick, shooting the snow at the wolf, blinding it. The final one attacked from behind. Nobuyuki quickly jumped aside as fast as possible. Now, with the wolf exposing it weakness, he went in for an attack. His sword art ready, as Nobuyuki swung his blade, cutting the wolf right below the mid section. It whimpered in pain, as it dropped down onto the ground, badly wounded.

The wolf continued attacking, this time however, all three rushed toward Nobuyuki at the same time. One bit him in the arm, the other two used the force to toppled Nobuyuki down onto the ground. But before The could attack, Nobuyuki quickly thrust his sword forward and end the wolf that's had just let go of his arm. However, one did get a hard bite onto his shoulder. Wince in pain, Nobuyuki kicked the other wolf away before any more damage could be inflicted, as well as pushed the other wolf off his body. Sat up from the ground, he turned his focus to the wolves behind his back.

Nobuyuki was not expecting for the wolf to return and attack him so quickly. He slipped and missed the attack. The wolf toppled him again, and climbed on top. While Nobuyuki was struggling to get the wolf off him, unknowingly he kicked the other wolf in the head as it tried to attack him. With a heavy push, he knocked the beast off him, and sit up again. His coat covered with snow, and Nobuyuki now feeling fatigue.

Nobuyuki looking at the two wolves, growling as they slowly approached him. Knowing that the two have the upper hand if both keep attacking him at the same time, Nobuyuki turned around and break run. However, he wasn't try to escape, but to create a diversion for him to attack, a bait or kiting the wolves around. The wolves began to chased after Nobuyuki, as he make a sudden stop, turned around and swung his sword. The wolf have no time to react, charged straight into the blade. Unfortunately, Nobuyuki didn't see the other wolf charged at him. It slammed it body square in the chest. Nobuyuki managed to kept his balance. He looked back at the two wolves, thinking of the next move.

"Gotta focus. Just need to kill all three of them. Just like usual day business." Nobuyuki panted, looking at the two wolves with his glaring eyes. The two wolves came at him both at the time again. Just like the last time, he was able to attack the first one, and knocked it off path, but was unable to avoid the second one to attack. He sat up from the ground, his coat covered in snow. "Focus, and ready."

This time, Nobuyuki changed his offence tactics. Instead of waiting for the wolves to strike then react, he went in for the attack. His sword art readied, as he swung the blade. The attack connected it target, as his sword cleaved through the wolf. It dropped down onto the ground and burst into million of pieces. But that is when the second wolf leaped toward him and knocked him down onto the ground. Nobuyuki was lucky however to be able to dodged the jaws of the the beast.

Now with only one single wolf left, Nobuyuki face grew a light smirk. He raised his sword and aimed toward the wolf, focusing on the beast. As the lone wolf lunged at him, Nobuyuki quickly swung his sword, pushed the wolf aside as well as damaging it quite heavily. The attack was centimeters away from the wolf weakpoint, but a hit is still a hit. Seeing the wolf whimpering on the ground,Nobuyuki felt a sense of guilt growing in him. But still, it have to go down. He readied his weapon for an attack.

"Alright, come on then." Nobuyuki grew a slight grin, as the wolf turned around and lunged at him for the attack. He ducked under as Nobuyuki brought his sword down for a vertical strike. The sword slashed against the wolf, knocked if aside. The wolf flew across the snow and hit a tree. Pulling his sword back and readied for another attack, Nobuyuki was determined to finish off this wolf before heading back to town.

Just as Nobuyuki thought it was all going to end, the Snow wolf suddenly burst from the ground, and leaped for Nobuyuki's neck. He managed to be able to ducked aside. The jaws of the monster instead clamped down onto his shoulder. The momentum dragged both down onto the ground. Nobuyuki laid in the snow, struggling to push the wolf away. With a heavy kick, he kicked the wolf off his body, stood up as he grap a hold of his weapon.

As the wolf come charging toward Nobuyuki, he had his sword readied in hand. With a thrust, Nobuyuki dealt a fair amount of damage to the wolf. But even when a wolf's head is severed, it still capable of biting. The wolf lunged out and chomped on Nobuyuki's hand. With a swift kick, Nobuyuki pushed the wolf away. Whimpering in pain on the ground, the wolf waited for it impending doom.

"I'm sorry, wolf. It has to be done." Nobuyuki mumbled, as he raised his sword and aimed at the wounded wolf. Nobuyuki thrust his sword forward, and aimed at the wolf's body. The sword pierced the wolf, ended its life. He sheathed his sword, and fell down onto the ground of exhausting. His tiring body could barely move. He laid in the snow, slowly falling asleep.

"Achoo!" Nobuyuki woke up laying in the cold snow. It's a miracle that he didn't get killed by other players or monster. The sun was setting, and he's out in the wild, sleeping in the snow. "What a wonderful day." Nobuyuki scowled himself, as he sat up from the ground and head back to town. On his way there, he didn't find any other thing significant. Nobuyuki looked at a distance, and saw a few wolves coming. It's best to avoid them for now, considering his condition and the time. He took a different path and continued walking back to town.

On his way back, Nobuyuki scanned around for any Frost cherry bushes that he could harvest. Unfortunately, he found nothing. Wouldn't risk the chance of getting stuck out in the snow, Nobuyuki shook his head, and continued on going back to town.

One last checkpoint before he returned to home, he saw in the darkness of the forest, under the snow a glimpse of something red. He make his way toward the bush, and harvest the berries. "Sweet. Now let's go back." Nobuyuki smiled, as he returned to the trail. And walk back to Snowfrost.
