[SP-F6] Man in the Mirror (The Gemini)

This quest takes place on Floor 6

This quest is not repeatable
This RP will not count in the benchmark.

An NPC with no name appears before you when you are adventuring. He challenges you to a friendly duel and promises magnificent rewards if you win. However, once you begin the duel, you realize that it is a duel to the death! His name appears and he is revealed to be the Gemini, and then he transforms into you. He has the same HP and skills as you. If you win the duel and kill the Gemini, you gain the skill of <<Concentration>> if you roll a 1-17 on your loot die at the end of the battle. This adds a +1 to the attack it is used for, but has a 5 turn cooldown period. If you roll and 18-20, you can the <<Disguise>> skill. It temporarily transforms you into the other enemy, giving you a +1 on your combat die and them a -1 on their next action. It only during your and his turn, and can only be used once every twelve turns.

Gemini Information:

The Gemini has all your skill levels and your HP, but uses a vanity version of your equipment without the enhancements (though skill bonuses still apply). The Gemini uses sword arts too, so their base will be multiplied using your mid tier weapon rank multiplied. Use this table for an exact amount to use.

Wanting to go on an adventure I made my way up to floor 6. I hadn't been up to this jungle floor before and decided to explore a bit. I was looking around at the scenery and was slightly surprised by the lack of mobs that I saw running around on the forest floor. That was until I started the get a little tired and fell asleep and had a disregard for the forest all together. When I finally awoke I was in a clearing and in front of me stood a hooded man in a green cloak as I stood up I felt a little light headed. The hooded man said "Hello there, glad to see that You have waken up. I have a deal for you that might be of interest." He stepped forward and said. "If you can beat me in a friendly duel you will receive great rewards." He didn't look too threatening and who doesn't like free rewards? "Okay I accept, Let's duel and then you'll give me my reward." The hooded figure nodded his head and grinned he said " You have yourself a deal"

The hooded man then removed his hood as I drew my blade. When his cloak was thrown to the ground his figure rippled and I was thrown off by what stood in front of me. What was previously a stranger has now become the spitting image of me. His armor face and even his blade were identical to mine. "What are you playing at?" I said angerly he then drew his blade and advanced toward me with an evil glint in his eye. "Do you not like what you see? Come and fight me." He said as he ran at me and attacked. I had just enough time to jump backward out of the way as he swung forward and missed. It was very strange to fight myself but I can do this.

I readied myself for another attack as he looked at me and said "You can't beat me I am you and there is no way to win." Frustrated I held my blade above my head waiting for his next attack. I was able to keep myself calm and dodge his attack. I then Charged up my sword art Lasing Chopper and as my blade pulsated a deep purple I let out a flurry of six slices hitting my double and throwing him backwards. "See I will beat you easily and there is no doubt that I am the better me. You are simply a lame copy." Seeing his health plummet I laughed to myself and readied for another attack.

I knew that he had taken a hard blow since he fell backward and it had taken him a bit of time to stand back up. I realized that he wouldn't be able to do too much more if I keep my assault up. One more hit and he will be killed and I will get whatever gift he had promised me I don't appreciate anyone who tries to steal my identity. and I will not let him get the best of me. I swung at him but missed being thrown off by his next attack. I jumped backward dodging his mimicked version of my blessed Silverlight. "Oh that was a close one wasn't it?" "He said laughing to himself I took a deep breath not wanting to get frustrated and ignored his taunts.

Readying myself for another attack I lashed out at him. However I saw that the copy cat of me was about to block me when he swung his blade I leaped backward and fell to the ground rolling out of the way
