[SP-F1] The Day a New Demon Was Born (Complete)

Recommended Posts

Lelouch smirked as he exited the starting town before looking around at the distance. It was morning... a good time for some material gathering. He had no time to waste as he had already been behind everyone in terms of energy. Why so? Well, Lelouch was a lazy, intelligent person... He had no time for grinding or hard work. Nor had he any spare time on his hands for extra work. However, he was seriously falling behind. It seemed as if time sped up and he was unable to catch up with the continuous amount of leveling around him. He now realized that he needed much work in order to catch up. Still, he was absolutely confident that he would be able to do so with ease. After all... He was Lelouch. Lelouch of the intelligence. It was then that Lelouch faced the sky and let out a wicked grin as his mind was filled with detailed and elegant plots and ideas. He was going to change this world... Change it for the better and he was going to kill the God that rules over this world. "That day might be later in the future... But it is the outcome that matters... Not the method of doing so." Lelouch stated with a wide grin as he walked on, continuing to snicker.

Indeed, Lelouch had known that there were ways to obtain materials through good material gathering sessions. However, despite the number of times that he had scouted, he wasn't sure what was considered a material. Indeed, he was going to have to try very hard in an attempt to find materials due to his stupidly low level which he hoped to boost in the foreseeable future. And he hoped that that foreseeable future wasn't going to take very long. He looked around on the outskirts of the first floor to see that truly, there was nothing that really catches his eyes in the lighting horizon. "One must learn from their failures... And I have a feeling that I shall endure many failures in this time period" Lelouch spoke to himself. "Doesn't matter. I have much time on my hands to catch up with."

Lelouch watched as a rabbit skipped past the surface of the grass. It was like oceans of grass in the distance and the sun was bathing the greenness of the land. Brilliant. Lelouch thought, admiring the sun. Soon, I shall destroy the sun which is controlled by that God. Lelouch smirked a confident smirk before walking more further into the outside of the safe zone. He specifically avoided any boars because if he engaged in combat... He would surely die from his weaknesses as a low-leveled player. Still, he had found an apple laying on the ground so he was satisfied that he had managed to obtain that for himself.

Indeed, Lelouch had heard that material gathering was quite a frustrating process. And of course, he had not believed those stupid commoners. Of course, he had to endure it in order to become strong so he can achieve his final destiny. He would die in order to achieve that task. Lelouch smirked as he walked on, looking around cautiously in order to make sure that he doesn't miss anything that could be an easy material gain without any effort on his own personal behalf.

Lelouch was definitely becoming more frustrated. He clutched his fist tightly and sighed as he walked around in his uncomfortable starter cloth. Of course, he was feeling rather uncomfortable. He couldn't wait to get some new costumes as he was definitely becoming impatient with the fact that he's usual fashion sense was not becoming fulfilled. Surely, he cannot reach his destiny with the amount of gear that he currently possesses... Basically nothing and nothing could be seen in the distance either. With another sigh, he moved on, carrying on his mission for more materials.

Lelouch could do nothing at the moment. He could not fight any of these boars no matter how weak they were... Nor can he find any materials along on the ground. Perhaps this was the tortures of a video game. There were limitations no matter which way you look at it. He had been wandering around for quite a while now and he was still empty handed to some extent. I shall defeat this wall of limitations... I shall rule this world. He thought, smirking as he progressed on.

Lelouch was almost 1/2 way done. He had planned to continue his material gathering on night and well, it was almost noon already. He was probably not going to find enough materials to provide him with the gear that he needed. Prior to coming, he had thought of what he wanted. Indeed, he wanted to have power... He wanted to be a powerful player with an amazing damage output and that was what he is aiming towards. Now, he must simply endure this impatience of his.

Lelouch had been walking by a stream when he noticed a green eye just simply laying there. However, it was dangerously close to the apple and one mistake would result in it to flow away from him. Lelouch would probably lose this material due to his lack of experience but he went for it anyway. Like he had expected, his movement was not smooth nor was it rapid. He could only watch as he accidently pushed the apple, causing it to fall into the river.

Lelouch sighed, sitting down below a tree as he took out a bottle of water and a piece of bread. He had been hopeless and he had started to doubt whether the theories of the material gathering was correct. Soon, he cleared his mind and took a sip of the refreshing water. The bread, however, was absolutely tasteless. Still, he minded not as he would definitely get some better food later on for himself. He yawned and stood up once more, prepared for a series of serious material gathering.

The sun was blaring overhead and yet he was still getting no luck in terms of finding materials. Perhaps he was just not the greatest material finder? No, that was not it. He was the greatest in whatever he thinks even when he fails. No. This must happen all the time to low-leveled players. Lelouch declared inside his mind as a method of calming as he sped forward a bit more. Plus, it made perfect sense that people were completely taking the closest materials so he would have to get further away from the area.

Having walked a fair distance away, he was still unable to see any sort of significant items and he was starting to consider the possibilities of him accidentally missing an item which he could've actually used. Lelouch sighed in desperation but kept his head high like he always did as a symbol of utmost pride. With yet another sigh, he continued to walk on, prepared for a day of waste and it would probably be a day of waste if things continue as it has been.

Lelouch sighed. This was a huge waste of time and she did not like it at all. Indeed, he would have to really speed up the progress or he would be here all day and he still wouldn't find any more materials than one. Lelouch sighed in disappointment before turning to a light 180 degree and continuing to walk in high hopes that he might be able to find some sort of materials that would be useful for him in regards to buying equipment from shopkeepers.

Lelouch frowned as he scanned the area. Once more, he was unable to find any materials in the distance and it was really starting to bother him. His luck had been unacceptable and it was quite obvious that he was unable to contain his anger. With a kick, he kicked a pebble into the nearby stream before sighing and looking carefully at the ground. Perhaps I'm missing a lot of things. Lelouch thought... But... I'm pretty sure I memorized what counts as a material.

"This is why I don't rely on luck. A skilled tactician has no luck." Lelouch said, obviously pissed that he was still only holding onto one material. This was getting quite stressful for him and he knew that he would probably only be able to find at most one more material before the day ends. He was quite far away from the safe zone at this point and he hoped that no player killers would be around. No matter how arrogant he was... with his current stats, he was utterly useless against any player at this point.

Lelouch smirked as he saw something in the distance and this "something" could actually be something that could be used as a material. Indeed, it was an apple hanging quite lowly in a tree. The tree was quite loopy and seemed bent from a storm so he could easily reach the apple which was located upon it. With a smile, he plucked it out and inspected it only to find that the apple was completely rotten and unusable. Ugh... Useless. He thought as he threw it angrily against the ground.

It was a miracle! Finally, having walked all that time for one material, he had found yet another one. Indeed, it was his second material and he was pleased that he had managed to get it. Truly, he had not expected a material having had no result for a long period of time but now, he had finally gotten one more material for himself before the day was over. I guess this is the reward I am given for being forced to become a patient king... Lelouch thought, full of arrogance and expectations.

From what he could tell so far into the game. Material gathering was all random. Sure, there were skills that he read about which allowed the player to increase their chances but other than that... Everything you do was related to luck and luck was the priority of this game unless you have certain stat boosts that helps your luck. Indeed, this game was prioritized around luck and there was nothing that wasn't related to it. If you have good luck, then you prevail... and Lelouch had no such luck. He had been wandering around and looking around for absolutely nothing.

Not only had he realized that this game was completely based off luck, he realized that at least during the material gathering, it was more likely for you to not find a material than to successfully obtain one. It was somewhat about 1/4 chance and he was not even getting the 1/4 chance that he would've definitely liked. Lelouch sighed as he looked up at the sky. Now was the time to return before it becomes dark and darkness was the source of all evils and danger.

Lelouch smirked in delight as he wandered around the area. With a smile, he was able to see something in the distance... Some sort of shining fruit and with that, he charged forward and grasped it tightly... Adding one more available material to his inventory. "Good stuff. I guess this glows during the night... Should make it easier." Lelouch said as he began walking back to the starting town as now, the afternoon was nearing in on its end and danger would arrive soon. I'll gather more on my way back. He decided.

Lelouch smirked in delight as he had managed to find a good material in the distance. Indeed, things were much easier to find now and he was quite pleased that he had been able to find one more material for his gain. With a smirk, he grabbed onto it and pulled, allowing the apple to be broken free and hence, he had added another to his collection. Plus, he remembered that some high-leveled player was willing to trade materials for col and he was quite eager to do so for some col which would give him a bit of equipment.
