Brax 0 Posted January 14, 2016 Author #21 Report Share Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) The forest continued on, and deeper and deeper Brax was drawn into it, his search for the safety of the cave paramount in his mind. He needed another break, and hopefully the dense forest and a cave dwelling would provide it. It was thicker than he had thought, and Brax wondered if he could actually navigate his way out after making his way to the ruins above. He saw broken stone guardians at the mouth of the dark hole, remnants of a force long since dead. They were accompanied by others of a more lively nature, though, in the form of misshapen trolls, bodies mangled by battle and disease. They shambled towards Brax aimlessly, raising their arms in anger and resentment, but their movements were uncoordinated and slow. He dodged them effortlessly, no need to activate the Epitaph for help. If he could have, he would have felt pity for the poor creatures as he slammed his axe into their damaged frames, his Lumberjack moving through several of them like a hot knife through butter. He surveyed the area, and finding no place to rest his head, climbed up a tree in search of safety. He would rest here momentarily before venturing into the relative unsafety of the cave, making his way through to the run down castle whereby he would find all sorts of lootable goodies, as long as the odds were in his favor. +4 materials +4 snowflakes +320 col Summary 400 col + 1 SP + 22 materials + 22 snowflakes + 720 col THREAD COMPLETE!
