     Barreling through thick brush and low hanging branches, Brax finally emerged from a thicket into another clearing that overlooked a flowing river, babbling through the forest at an easy pace.  The river, though, was where the fleeing wolf decided to make it's stand.  For this particular riverbed was the home of the pack to which the beast belonged, and when Brax arrived from his pursuit they ambushed him with full power.  Knocking the adventurer to the ground, the four Dire Wolves' claws attempted to rend his armor from Brax's body to get at the soft flesh beneath the metal.  With a mighty roar he tossed the creatures from him, sending them flying away in various directions from which they began to encircle him to begin the attack anew.  Brax set his axe low, a familiar feeling of power emanating from his weapon, and he waited until the mob was too close to flee before making his move.  Closing fast with his Explode Catapult, the stoic swept forwards with 3 strong blows, ending with his patented slam that radiated out from the impact point.  Catching the entire mob in his attack, they only had a moment to think on their mistake of trying to defeat the man before exploding into a crystalline shower.  Exhausted from the run, Brax chose to rest and reinvigorate himself in the peaceful glen before heading back to  Florenthia Village, for his current trip was...at an end.
