Isa_ 0 Posted March 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2016 (edited) Many days had passed since the moment they had gotten stuck in Sao, a game she had been so hyped for. Since she day she had found out about it, Isa had been constantly begging her father to get it for her. After a while he gave in because she was annoying him so much, and he bought everything she needed. Isa of course jumped in the moment she could, immediately exploring the area when she got in. Everything was so perfect, that there had to be something wrong with it. Soon, she discovered the dark secret of the game, causing her to break down slightly. Isa then just stayed on the first floor, sometimes going to floor 2 or 3 to look around, but she never touched a single mob. Not because she was scared, in fact, she didn’t believe that one would actually die if killed in the game. She really didn’t think that a person would be so cruel to create such a machine. Isa believed in the theory of the whole thing being a lie, and that people would just wake up when their HP would hit 0. Anyway, the reason she hadn’t fought for so long was because she didn’t want to leave this game yet. She found the game too amazing for her to fight at the risk of “dying” and thus going back to the real world. Isa wasn’t too confident about her fighting skills, and was almost certain that alone, she wouldn’t be able to kill a boar. The girl was used to having high HP or at least high MIT as a tank in almost every MMORPG she played. So having such low health right now lowered her confidence a little. After being pretty much ages in this game, Isa was kind of getting bored of the first 3 floors, having already seen pretty much every single safe corner of them. She didn’t want to go to a higher floor than 3, unless she was higher levelled. So now that she had pretty much nothing to lose, Isa thought it’d be the perfect time to finally get into action and level up. It was already night though, and Isa would rather wait ‘till sunrise so that it wouldn’t be so quiet on the streets, which she didn’t like that much. Isa put her glass of water down on the wooden table in front of her and let out a small sigh as she sat down again. About half an hour ago, Isa had pulled Haru after her into the closest tavern she could find. She had expected it to be quiet, at least not too crowded since it was already late, but she was wrong. The place was filled with people, most of them being rather loud and a little annoying, but not annoying enough for her to leave and look for another tavern. “So, how about we take a look at the earning a living quest tomorrow? So I can become a blacksmith, and you can become.. whatever you want to” Isa chuckled and winked at him. They hadn’t really talked about proffessions a lot, and Isa wasn’t sure if he even wanted to get a profession or not. Edited March 5, 2016 by Isa_
Haruka 0 Posted March 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2016 He had been randomly pulled from his thoughts a short while ago as Isa had pulled him into a tavern, he was lost in his thoughts again, something that he wasn't truly used to. Ever since this game had started, and he came in with Isa he had begun to think more than usual. Not in the way that he was an idiot, but he was so used to voicing all of his thoughts aloud as he wasn't generally alone whether talking to a friend during swimming, or during a video game. Now however he had begun to get accustomed to being alone, yes he had his friend Isa but that was sorta weird as well, he wasn't sure but it was almost as if she didn't care, as in she didn't care whether this was life or death. She simply seemed to love the "game" that she saw it as. Haru was nothing the same, he of course had to admit that this game was amazing in asthetics and gameplay, but he didn't want too die. He had a good life back In his real world with all of his friends at school and in other games, and a career that he was working towards. Haru had also thought of those friends he had played with in other games, some of them must have gotten this game, it was the most hyped up game in history really but he had yet too see any of them, maybe they were already dead. Haru was thinking of a rather stupid issue to him, simply how much of his work in his past 6 years on toning his fitness to an amazing level for sports, and now that would all be disappearing as he sat almost lifeless in a bed. But Isa pulled him from his thoughts. She questioned him on looking at a quest that she wanted to do. He was alright with the idea until she brought up him getting a profession as well. It wasn't something he was looking forward too mostly, he knew the benefits but he wasn't used to working as a shop owner in a game where you killed to progress. Aside from his thoughts haru hadn't changed much and responded in his usual self amusingly way. " Awwww come on Isa, you know I don't work.... It's too much and I'm lazy. Can't you do it yourself and work my job for me.." Haru said this and then plopped his head down onto the table in front of him looking back at Isa with innocence in his eyes as he sighed. OOC-SOOOO late, hospitals and beds is what I've become accustomed too, done....hopefully.
Isa_ 0 Posted March 22, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Isa chuckled at Haru's reply. It was completely fine if he didn't want to get a profession because he was too flippin' lazy to do some work, but she honestly didn't think that it would be that hard to craft things. Getting a profession didn't mean that you had to open a shop for other people to come and buy stuff, one could also just keep it closed and craft things for themselves. Isa did want to open a shop and sell things, but she was most likely going to wait until she had seen a few more floors and leveled up a bit. "It won't be that hard~" She giggled. Though she did think it'd be more useful for both of them to get a profession and start crafting things at least for themselves, Isa wasn't going to push Haru and force him to get one. It was completely up to him if he wanted to start crafting or not. The blonde was looking forward to doing the quest and getting a profession though. She was really interested in how she would do, having absolutely no experience in any of the things the professions did whatsoever, except for cooking. Her cooking skills were poor though, and she struggled with the easiest things most of the time. "You don't have to get a profession if you don't want to, but I'm definitely not going to do any work for you if you don't get one." she replied, a big smile appearing on her face. She wasn't pushing him into a profession, but that didn't mean she was going to be doing all the work.
Haruka 0 Posted March 22, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Haru listened as she began to reply to his little remark, he wasnt surprised that she wasnt going to care whether he did or didnt get a profession too much, only saying he should. And it definetly would help in the end, save money and help to keep them alive in the new reality of theirs. However that did not mean haru really wanted to, the quest he felt would be the bad part, and she was right that it most likely wouldnt be that hard, but who knows it could be harder than the real world although it probably wasnt. Haru lifted his head before resting it on the palm of his hand as his elbow rested on the table. "But babe, you know you wanna do the work, just imagine, you can sit in a building all day, making things that I get credit for, its the dream". Haru of course knew it was a lie and that she wouldnt want to do it as she stated especially if he got all the credit. "Plus, maybe if your good enough ill pay you back with a date" he finished with a smile as he looked at the blonde. She was used to the nature of his as she had known him for awhile but it never stopped him, and she was pretty anyway so if she ever truly accepted the offer, then good for him. Haru had missed all the girls from the real world, he figured there would be mostly guys on the game anyway, but he hadnt planned on being trapped in a game where the ratio of men to females seemed to be around 4:1 it was a rough life to live. And on top of that, in the real world most girls werent scared for their life, frightened by everything around them. No highschool girls enjoyed the thrill, but this game was really ruining his mojo.
