[F5-PP] What even is a "Sand Shark"? <<Blood in the Sand>> (Tsubasa)

NIxon walks into Alchemical Potions and Crystals. He walks up to Tsubasa. "Yo, You want to get out of the shop for a little bit? I heard that there was a Respawning boss on floor 5. I doubt it would be a challenge for us. You think you want to join me? I could do it myself, but you know I hate soloing, plus I know you find it idiotic." Nixon laughs slightly. he turns and looks around the shop. It was primarily empty, accept for the decorations. He thought back to his own shop at how empty it was as well. he shrugged slightly and walked back to tsubasa to await his answer.

When Nixon walked into his shop and asked about doing a quest together, Tsubasa was planning to respectfully decline. after a little while of careful consideration on whether he would want to join or not, Tsubasa decided he would go. "sure, I'll go with you on this quest" Tsubasa checked his equipment list to make sure he was ready for yet another battle. He was getting tired of the frequency he was fighting mobs and tanking. Tsubasa knew that Nixon would be the one tanking, so he could deal the significant amounts of damage to the boss thing. "what exactly are we fighting?" Tsubasa asked Nixon

Nixon laughed as they headed to the Teleporter. "It is something called a 'Land Shark' Though i couldn't tell you what that was." they teleport to floor 5 and start heading to the desert. "God its hot out here, Heavy armour really sucks sometimes you know?" He said in a joking manor. He hoped that Tsubasa would laugh and it wouldnt be awkward, but it was tsubasa... It would probably be awkward if he actually laughed too. Regardless they kept trudging through the sand into the vast desert.

Tsubasa seemed to feel at home in the desert with his white snake like cloak and white hand wraps of snake like strike, which illuminated a light green color. Tsubasa didn't laugh at the joke, being that he was focused on ripples in the sand beneath them. "So, do you think land sharks swim in the land, or do you suppose that they just "swim on the surface" of the sand, being that we are in a desert..." Tsubasa seemed rather tired compared to his usual alertness, walking right over an obviously academical plant, completely ignoring its existance. Tsubasa was not sweating at all, either because he was so used to the heat or because he was already dehydrated before getting to this floor.

"I would assume that they swim in the sand, though i wouldn't know. What even is a land shark?" Nixon asks curiously. as they walked, not noticing the rumbles in the sand. He looks over to Tsubasa trying to read him. However this was a tough nut to crack. He wasnt sure he would ever be able to read this man. He shrugged, it didnt matter that much. He looked around to try to find something to fight, though he wasnt sure if there was anything out here

Tsubasa continued with Nixon onward on the sand dunes. They had been walking for a while now, having seen much of the same things as a they had seen a couple of miles back. "Where would this "Land Shark" be located? If we can find out this information, I might be able to make better judgments outside of combat. We might not be able to afford many mistakes if this thing truly is a boss." Tsubasa spoke these things to Nixon, while he was wondering how tough this shark would be. "By the way, do you happen to know the reward we will receive for doing this quest." Tsubasa didn't seem to concerned with the topic, more like he just wanted to talk to buy time until the threat appears.

"I think it was something called 'sand armour potion' which is rumored to increase your armour mitigation. But we wont know for sure unless we find it." He says as they walk. as they cross the dunes they spot a nest on the top of one. The nest was larger than any bird nest they had ever seen. "Hey we should kill whatever lives in that nest!" He ran over to the nest and instantly Regretted his decision. He saw 3 large birds, and 3 smaller birds. they seemed like something out of mythology. He was ready to fight but wasn't sure if he would be able to hold them all off.

"~~Dumb ass...~~", said Tsubasa as he saw Nixon running up a dune to the top, where there was apparently a nest. When he noticed Nixons fearful expression, Tsubasa already knew that there was a problem. Tsubasa walked up to where Nixon stood and accessed the situation. 6 mutated looking birds were in the giant nest, which in size were split 50/50. Tsubasa evaluated the threat, knowing very little about these things. "Nixon, the threats are not that significant. They seem to have similar attributes to me and a half of me, so your MIT should be able to take their attacks. Just make sure you aggro them, because I will take heavy damage if I lead the frontal assault." Tsubasa waited for Nixon to make a move.

Nixon stepped back and looks over to Tsubasa making sure he wasn't alone and was re-assured by what he said. He ran at one of the birds and missed. The larger birds seemed to completely ignore the two men invading their nest. two of the younger Birds noticed them and attacked Nixon. However when both of them hit Nixon they shattered. Causing Nixon to relax quite a bit.

Tsubasa moved into the area of battle, and moved to strike at one of the large birds. Tsubasa prepared to attack, charged, and right before he hit the bird, he fell to the ground and did a couple pushups. Tsubasa knew that while he was close to the ground, he would have some time to create a more developed strategy in order to eliminate the birds. Tsubasa also wanted to keep an eye on Nixon's health, even though he knew that the bird's which did hit instantly pixilated into many pieces.

Nixon swung his whip at the birds once again and missed. He quickly raised his shield to the big bird coming at him. As it hit his shield he watched as the Birds health dropped by about half. However he had his back to one of the smaller Birds who attacked him harder than he thought the bird could. He lost his breath for a second but quickly re-gained it.

Tsubasa jumped back up from his refreshing pushups, faced toward one of the big bird things and struck with his snake like strike. This big bird thing did not expect the attack from Tsubasa, and was startled by his sudden motion. Tsubasa knew that he would now be taking aggro until Nixon were to hit. Tsubasa turned to see if any of the other mutated birds were focused on him. Nixon was just hit in the back by a small bird thing, which seemed to affect his overall position and stance temporarily.

Nixon Slammed his whip down on one of the larger advancing birds. It shuddered for a second then fell to the ground, motionless. pixalated blood falling from its wounds. the other two large birds hit him head on. However their health dropped by half upon contact. Nixon was regaining confidence. He thought to himself that he may actually be able to do something

Tsubasa saw that Nixon had aggroed the Rocs in the nest and couldn't seem to strategically think. He, by instinct, started to charge toward the last mini-roc, and Tsubasa was about to attack. Before he could strike the little roc, He fell to the ground and started to do push ups. Nixon had aggroed the monsters so Tsubasa should have no problem thinking strategically about battle plans. While Tsubasa did his 9th push up, he heard one of the big rocs pixilize. One down with several to go

Nixon attacks the second Bird. He hit it heard enough to keep it down, but not paralyzed. he was happy to keep the bird down. the other bird was apparently getting pissed at Nixon and hit him full force. He took it and turned around uttering "Trust me, Your balls are next" and laughing to himself. He looked at tsubasa and nodded, motioning for him to attack as it wouldn't cause him to pull aggro even if he crited

Tsubasa jumped back up as he saw Nixon grow a bit more aggro. Tsubasa stood, confronting the little birdy. Tsubasa's green hand wraps stayed a light green illumination as he moved in for a snake strike. He side stepped the bird and burst forward hitting the bird in the beak. "Keep up the aggro Nixon, your doing a optimal job." Tsubasa knew he did minimal damage to the little bird because he did not want to use his energy quite yet. Tsubasa stepped a few feet back, so he wouldn't aggro the bird any more than he already did.

"Doin It, bud" He swung his whip at one of the larger birds and laughed. He then blocked the oncoming attack from the bird and watched its health drop by a bit. He was ready for anything, or so he thought. He was then hit with a powerful attack from the smaller bird. It pushed him back a ways but he ran back up to the Birds to keep pulling aggro.

Tsubasa rushed suddenly to Nixon's side and grabbed his shoulder. Tsubasa grinned as his cloak illuminated a shining white light. Nixon's health bar rose back up to full and the light from the cloak diminished. Tsubasa walked to the other side of the nest to wait for the battle to near its end. If Nixon had full health, than all Tsubasa had to do was heal him when he gets hit. Tsubasa found this a rather simple and easy job.

Nixon thanks Tsubasa for the extra health. And proceeded to attack the same bird as before. "Hey Tsubasa, do you even know what these are? Because I have absolutely no clue" he laughed as he talked and watched as the other big bird died on contact with him. he was happy but becoming tired. it was interesting that it had become so late, they would probably need to sleep after this battle

Tsubasa noticed that Nixon was showing a tired outward expression and grabbed his shoulder yet again. His cloak then began to glow a white illuminating light. Nixons health bar went right back to full, which Tsubasa thought might make him more sleepy. Tsubasa then began massaging his shoulders while Nixon was in the midst of battle and asked him, would that be all, sir?" like that of a butler. Tsubasa then stopped messing around and ran from where he once stood, waiting for the next needed moment.
