[PP-F1] Arthur and Merlin [COMPLETE]

Recommended Posts

The walk back to the fields was a notably quiet one. All things considered, both Kranzer and Dynaon were pretty damn upset with the conversation that had gone down in the restaurant. How dare anyone even attempt to classify him, or even worse than that, try to say he'd fail? It was an inconceivable concept, one he almost deemed as unforgivable. However, Dynaon didn't slack off from their last meeting. During the day that they had returned to their own devices, the King managed to raise himself up to Level 3 through quests and the like. His stats had increased, but his equipment hadn't changed. For some reason, he found himself enjoying the <<Polished Breastplate>> that Kranzer had traded to him. It held that kind of value that a gift from a friend would. If they were friends, that is.

"So, Kranzy. What did you do yesterday when we left the cafe? It looks like you managed to get something done, considering you got a level up. I'm proud of ya!" Even though he was still a little upset, Dynaon couldn't help but offer the man a smile as they reached the fields. He didn't want to be mad, so he just got rid of the steam. Maybe fighting some Boars would allow him to blow some of the steam off. Now that he had more HP and some MIT, grinding was going to be a breeze, for sure!

For the most part Kranzer simply walked beside Dynaon while he remained silent. He wanted to cringe when the fool called him Kranzy again. However, by now he was simply going to accept the fact that Dynaon either couldn’t say his name correctly or he just didn’t care to. Albeit his he grudgingly accepted it and not without a silent curse or ten. While it was clear Dynaon held similar feelings as Kranzer he did seem to be rather pleased with that breastplate. It was the one small spark of hope in this entire debacle that made it even remotely worthwhile for the indecisive player to continue tagging along. While his belief that somewhere deep down the fool had some survival instinct he feared that possibility was forlorn at best.

When Dynaon finally spoke it wasn’t to continue the heated debate they had the previous day but to offer Kranzer praise over the fact that he’d gained a single level. A quick glance at the party interface and it showed that the “Immortal King” was already level three. Kranzer wasn’t envious so that wasn’t way he didn’t reply at first. His lips parted to offer a retort but no sound flowed out so he closed his mouth. He just didn’t know how to reply when praised for his effort or lack thereof in this case. His gaze shifted to look at the fool to see if he was only teasing and it didn’t seem like that was the case. In fact the man wasn’t even being crass about it. Was it possible that he was genuinely proud about the level?

It didn’t seem appropriate yet Kranzer felt a strange sensation at the situation at hand. He’d never been praised before. Was this what it felt like to feel pride in what he did? “T-thank you,” he finally managed to say. “I-I told you I have a strategy.” Kranzer idly scratched at his cheek with the index finger of his left hand while his right hand flexed idly along the hilt of his sheathed dagger. “Look at you though. Level three already?” Kranzer quickly tried to shift the focus back to Dynaon since he felt discomfort anytime the light of this stage called life was focused on him for any length of time. His brown eyes shifted and there was a tiny bit of shame reflected within them about everything that he’d set yesterday while he was heated. Though he still felt it was well deserved since the man didn’t seem to have any sense at all.

Although he was excited to talk about his own level with Kranzer, he kept his smile up as he replied to the earlier comment. "It's nice to see your strategy moving forward then. I won't have my Merlin staying low leveled!" He teased before he walked forward, stretching out and looking to the horizon. "I went out and did a quest. Learned how to make healing potions and stuff. It was pretty fun, and man, the rewards were enough to push me to Level 3. It's actually kind of exciting. Whenever you level up in this game, it's like.. you can actually feel the growth, ya know?" He just noticed he was getting a little deep there for a second. Dynaon quickly shook his head and looked back at Kranzer. "You'll get used to it eventua--"

Suddenly, a <<Frenzied Boar>> spawned between Kranzer and Dynaon. The creature immediately got aggro onto the indecisive young man, and while the King believed he could handle it with his level, he realized.. this wasn't a <<Boar>>. It was Frenzied. It was even more powerful than the last one! "[censored], Kranzer!" Dynaon pushed off of the ball of his foot to speed forward, getting in front of Kranzer and spreading out his arms, aiming to let his armor take the brunt of the impact. "I won't let you damage him!" A fire flared up in the King's eyes now that he had the levels and the armor. This was going to be nothing for him. The creature caught sight of him and stopped in his tracks, merely staring Dynaon down. They were in a deadlock, neither one of them moving to attack for the moment.

Kranzer had to stop and stare at the fool in disbelief for a moment. “Wait. You picked up the Alchemist profession?” There was a hint of astonishment in his tone. He would have pegged Dynaon with being too focused on increasing his level to worry about a profession and for him to pick that one it meant he must have put some serious thought into it. Being able to craft your own support items was a huge benefit after all and here Kranzer was still uncertain of which one to pick. If this team up worked out then it wouldn’t be efficient for him to pick that path so that was one possibility down at least. Without him knowing it Dynaon had actually helped him. Well holy freaking crap… miracles did happen or so he thought.

Kranzer didn’t hear the rest of what Dynaon was saying as he was too lost in his own thoughts. That is until the fracking <<MOB>> spawned between them. Now this wasn’t like the last one they fought. This one actually had a tag along its name. Those brown eyes widened as he read it: <<Frenzied Boar>>Oh what the f,” he started to say as it’s eyes turned to focus on him. That there was the very reason he never left the safe haven the city offered him. Crap always went wrong and now… he was going to die. His hand instinctively went for the hilt of his dagger and his first thought was to run. Run so freaking fast that the <<Frenzied Boar>> would only get dust in its eyes. However, that wasn’t really an option as it charged right at his position.

I can do this,” he thought. For once Kranzer felt a hint of courage in this entire mess of a world. The ring of steel echoed through the air as he unsheathed his dagger and lowered his posture so he could spring out of the way as it charged forward. Then that fool went and did the most foolish thing he could have. Rather than attacking its flank he purposefully stepped in front of Kranzer and held his arms out as if he wanted to give the thing a huge hug. Kind of like they were long lost friends. Then the most incredulous thing happened. The gaze of the <<Frenzied Boar>> locked with Dynaon’s and it stopped in its track. For a moment Kranzer could only ponder over what happened as the two had a staredown. Then it occurred to him this fool’s sheer idiocy must have been contagious and in fact left this <<Frenzied Boar>> confused. That was the only rational explanation.

Dynaon made the proclamation that he wouldn’t allow the thing to harm Kranzer and it made the indecisive player take a step back and regard him a bit more closely. Well he was determined that was admirable at best. However, for some reason the idea that he needed to be protected irked his nerves a little. As he stepped forward he placed a hand on Dynaon’s shoulder only to rush by with his dagger at the ready. “You should have attacked him and taken the aggro off me. Shielding me with your body will only give him the initiative!” Little did Kranzer know the two had actually tried to attack but they’d missed and ended up in a stalemate.

He pushed off the ground and charged forward as he brought his dagger around in an attempt to drag the edge along the <<Frenzied Boar>>’s flank. When his attack missed its mark though he wanted to face-palm but he couldn't afford to grow complacent in a battle that could end with his death. Instead he kept running by as he attempted to circle around and set Dynaon up for a pincer attack.

Dynaon was a bit shocked that Kranzer took the initiative to attack right after. Even though he missed, the King couldn't help but be a little bit happy. His Merlin was making good progress toward becoming a warrior, and for that, Dynaon would do what he could to keep the man alive. "Alright then, you foul beast! Let's see what you've got!" He charged forward and attempted to slam his fist down on the creature's head, only to realize.. that was not how combat worked. He forgot to draw his damned blade out for an attack! It was too late to react now as the <<Frenzied Boar>> let off an irritated snort and slammed its tusks right into the middle of Dynaon's armor. He felt the wind being knocked out of his body for a short moment, seeing the HP bar in the upper left corner of his view lower ever so slightly. So that's what it looked like when it wasn't full.

Dynaon didn't like the sight of it at all, but he was going to have to deal with it for now. "Well, come on then, genius! I've got it on the ropes for you, so you might as well try to attack the damn thing!" In truth, he really didn't want Kranzer to try attacking it just yet. If Kranzer took one too many hits from the Boar, he would die for sure. Dynaon would rather take a few more attacks than let that happen to his new found friend.

Finally Dynaon got fired up as he moved in to attack it… with his fist. For an instant Kranzer was rather impressed. Had he unlocked some sort of skill involving unarmed combat? When the <<Frenzied Boar>>’s HP bar didn’t budge the attack was revealed for what it truly was. Even though his method was a little unconventional it was the thought that counted right? So long as he made the attempt everything would turn out for the better. Wrong! Not in Kranzer’s eyes. His face grew visibly flushed as he watched the scene unfold and Dynaon taunted him into attacking. The indecisive player grew visibly flustered as he charged forward. “ Are you even trying?!” His dagger went wide due to just how shocked he was that the man would attack with his hand and not his blade. Despite being attacked Dynaon’s HP bar barely budged which eased Kranzer’s fears a bit as he sighed in relief that he’d made the decision to give the fool that armor.

While he had attacked the boar on instinct rather than a conscious choice he was happy he missed. If he’d hit then that thing would have aggroed on him and Kranzer wasn't nearly as durable as Dynaon was. “Alright new plan. Draw your sword and poke it with the pointed end.” The sad thing was he wasn’t even joking as he tried to tell Dynaon how to use his blade but he didn’t do it to be crass. Kranzer’s mind was just completely flustered to the point he could barely think.

Dynaon grew agitated with the constant things getting in the way of just hitting the damned beast. If it wasn't the King trying to stare it down, it was Kranzer missing and running in a circle. If it wasn't Dynaon being too hasty to not even draw his weapon, it was Kranzer going too wide with his attack. This was turning into an idiotic show and it was going downhill pretty fast. At this rate, the armor was going to be for nothing! "That's it, I'm tired of this! Beast, prepare to get hurt!" He grasped at the hilt of his scimitar and drew it out, raising it into the air and swinging it downward. The blade cleaved into the creature's back, causing for it to let out a surprised yelp of pain. The HP bar of the creature went down slightly, but it was twice as much as what the <<Frenzied Boar>> managed to do before, so he at least had that to be happy about.

However, he had no idea what was about to come next. Another impact hit against his chest, the boar's tusks driving into his armor. For some reason, this one hurt even more than the last, pushing him backward with the impact. His HP went down twice as much this time as the notification showed up by the creature: <<Critical Hit!>>. What the hell? How come the creatures could have that kind of luck too? He silently cursed as he looked over to Kranzer, then he looked back to the beast. "I can take anything you can dish out!"

His blade was lifted high as if he meant to pierce the very heavens and as the light glinted off of its smooth surface it and flashed across Kranzer’s eyes. The brief flash caused him to blink and totally miss the quite frankly amazing hit from the Immortal King. In turn it also made him miss the even more devastating blow he took. The <<Frenzied Boar>> gored the young hero and pierced through his armor. He did however hear the sound of the blade and tusk as they pierced through flesh. The indecisive player stumbled forward as he tried to blink the dots away and his blade went high only to glance off of his target’s toughened hide once more. When he finally cleared the last remnants of the redirected light from his eyes Kranzer took note of the diminished HP bars of both Dynaon and the Boar.

This was clearly not going to plan and unless Kranzer was able to land a blow and soon… the Immortal King might very well be introduced with the frail mortality that plagued every player locked within SAO. For an instant Kranzer thought a brief brush with death might be beneficial for the fool but in the end he ultimately decided that even if Dynaon survived by the skin of his teeth it would only encourage his dreams of grandeur. Immortal King indeed… the only thing eternal here was the irritation that the man managed to manifest within Kranzer. Perhaps it as time… time to demonstrate just how far he’d come with his dagger. The only thing that stayed his blade was the fear of missing once more. If he unleashed that… and missed then he’d deplete his entire pool of energy in one go. While it would return the thought of missing was enough to keep his blade in check. At least for the time being.

Kranzer took a step back and idly bit at his lip as he tried to think of the best path that'd ensure not only his survival but that of the fool too.

Dynaon coughed a bit as he tried to regain his composure. This was no big deal, he still had a lot of health to fall back on if he really needed to do this. However, with Kranzer just sitting there and twiddling his thumbs, there wasn't exactly much he could do at the moment. He poured his skill points into armor, for God's sake. He was meant to take the damage, not deal it out. Not yet, at the very least. He sighed out as he moved to charge the boar again, readying his blade for a deeper cut. "Come on, Kranzer! I need you to weaken this thing!" As he finished the sentence, he had already closed the gap between the two of them, swinging his blade downward. The creature managed to weave past the attack, his sword digging itself into the ground. Damn it, now his only weapon was stuck!

He tried to pull it out of the dirt below, only to see that the <<Frenzied Boar>> was coming to attack yet again. Dynaon panicked, jumping off of his feet and attempting to balance himself on the blade that was stuck in the ground. The beast went right past him, so the King did manage to dodge the attack successfully, but how the hell was he going to follow up now? "Keep him busy!" He yelled at Kranzer as he grabbed at the hilt of the scimitar with both hands, attempting to pull it out of the ground as the boar prepared for another attack toward Dynaon.

This had to turn around, and this was it. “Dynaon! Get it!” He was going to have to pit his last hope upon the would be Immortal King. The uncertainty of whether he’d miss for the fourth time in a row nagged too heavily upon his mind for Kranzer to move forward with his plan. Kranzer had to frown when Dynaon called him out about having missed it so much. This incited a low grumble from the indecisive player. For now he’d bide his time as the fool rushed in with his blade at the ready… only to miss his target and hit the ground instead. Though to be fair the ground did provide a much larger target than that little ole <<Frenzied Boar>>. Regardless Kranzer facepalmed as he shook hi shead. “Why,” he asked to noone in particular.

It was over he just knew it. The thing was going to kill Dynaon and then it’d set its sights on him next. The sound of the hooves digging into the ground heralded the charge. When it was over Kranzer had to lower his hand in shock when he heard the fool shout out to buy him some time. His brown eyes vanished several times as he blinked rapidly. There was the Immortal King balanced on his blade as if he was fighting by a small field mouse and had jumped up to get away from it. “W-what are you doing?” If he didn’t do anything it was highly likely that the next charge wouldn’t miss. With a sudden shout the indecisive player charged forward. “ FINE!” The edge of his dagger was briefly illuminated in a lavender light as he charged with <<Frenzied Boar>> with reckless abandon.

His body was slightly hunched forward with his arm held back with the dagger at the ready. The instant he was within range the blade struck out twice in rapid succession towards the thing’s flank. Each strike found its mark as long red gashes were opened up and flakes of “blood” flowed out before they fractured and vanished. The indecisive player couldn’t help but stand there and blink as he watched its HP bar decrease by a good portion. Woah... he didn't miss!

Dynaon was surprised at the dagger Kranzer had began to glow with a bright lavender hue. The King's eyes could only widen as he watched what was once an indecisive man throw all caution to the wind and rush at the creature, quickly hitting it twice on the side of its body. The damage that he did wasn't exactly any joke either; it was easily twice what Dynaon was able to put out already. Despite being shown up by the flare of the attack, the Immortal King smiled, a new fire ignited in his belly. "Hell yeah, Kranzy! Now that's what I'm talking about! You have been practicing. Now, how about I get in on this!" The determination that came from the beauty of Kranzer's attack was enough to grant Dynaon a new strength, yanking his weapon from the ground below and pointing it at the <<Frenzied Boar>>.

"This is what you get for spawning in the presence of two amazing players, you damned beast!" He pushed off of the ball of his foot and closed the distance between he and the boar, running past it as he dug his blade into the creature's side and tore into it, causing more flakes of some red substance to fly into the air. The HP bar was hurdling downward at a high speed now, and honestly, Dynaon couldn't be more proud of Kranzer right now. He was finally coming out of his shell. The creature was too shocked to even move after all of that damage, merely standing still to try and mentally deal with the pain. "Heh.. we've got him shaking in his boots."

Kranzer just couldn’t believe it… he actually hit the thing! He was actually feeling pretty damn good about his success. That is until Dynaon just had to go and ruin the entire situation with a show of bravado. He hit it at least which was good. It’s HP gauge continued to plummet towards its inevitable defeat. His expression only grew more dour as the fool continued to speak. Two amazing players? This was a mockery of battle! A travesty in the making at best. He could only shake his head as he moved in with his dagger held low but ready to strike out at a moment's notice. While the blade struck the creature it was too shallow and simply glinted across its toughened hide.

Crap,” he muttered as he jumped back in preparation to let Dynaon rush in and hopefully finish this thing off once and for all. If he wasn’t able too then perhaps he could with his next attack. Kranzer quickly stole a glance at the indicator for his energy. It was half full and the moment it was full he could use that Sword Art one more time. It’d have enough power to finish this <<Frenzied Boar>> off. He was certain on that based on the rate its HP gauge had been decreasing. Although… maybe he could use Dynaon’s overbearing personality to his advantage here. A slow smile crept across his face as she shouted, “He’s all yours! I’ve got him lined up for you Dynaon!” Either he would get the job done or he'd buy Kranzer enough time to regain enough energy to activate his Sword Art once more.

The King watched as Kranzer took his turn to attack, but his dagger just wasn't enough to do any real damage to the thing. Maybe he wasn't able to do much after that amazing display. He was about to console Kranzer for the small whiff, but just as quickly, Kranzer went on to determine Dynaon by telling him that he got the creature on the ropes just for him. Even though it seemed a bit fishy, the King was too excited by the praise to even think it through. "You got it!" He raised his blade into the air once more and cleaved into the <<Frenzied Boar>>, landing another direct hit into its hide. Now its HP had fallen down to a single point. Any attack would be able to take this thing down. However, it was up to the two players to determine who would land the finishing blow. Would Kranzer take the glory for himself with an amazing sword art, or would the Immortal King prevail?

The beast didn't seem intent on attacking either of them, still reeling back from the intense pain it was going through. To be fair, it was taking attacks left and right now. It was no surprise that it was going to lose its edge sooner or later. Dynaon took his blade out of the creature, waiting to see what Kranzer would do next. "Let's end this!"

Dynaon’s blade found its mark and reduced the <<Frenzied Boar’s>> HP gauge down until only a minuscule amount remained. If he could just hit it once the thing would certainly perish. The indecisive player inhaled sharply as he steeled his nerves and gripped the dagger’s hilt firmly and held it back fully prepared to unleash it up on his opponent. He dug the edge of his boot into the grass as he propelled his body forward in a sprint. The edge of his blade was illuminated in that tell tale lavender glow that preceded the activation of his Sword Art. Like before he used Side Bite which in truth was the only one he had the energy to pull off. He’d considered looking into finding a way to lower the cost of his skills but that was a matter best left for later.

The lavender light that flowed from the blade shifted and left a visible trail in the blade’s wake as the first strike cut deep across its side. The second strike removed the <<Frenzied Boar’s>> hind leg along with a good portion of its back before it flowed through and exited its body just beneath its throat. The indecisive player took several steps past his opponent as its body broke apart into small blue shards that vanished all too quickly. His blade lowered as his chest heaved from the effort of drawing in a breath. He was down right fatigued from the effort and suddenly his knees gave out. Kranzer crashed to the ground and rested on his knees while he used his hands to keep his body from falling all the way to the ground. “That… was insane.” The indicator window popped up and it took him a moment to look over at it. His brow furrowed when he saw all they got for their effort was a single material. He grumbled softly as he reached out an accepted the item.

As Kranzer delivered the final blow and the creature disappeared, Dynaon let off an exhausted sigh. These boars were definitely made of some pretty rough material if it took all that effort just to capture one. The King slowly sat down on the ground, looking over to Kranzer. The King slowly recovered the 3 HP he was missing, going back to full health in no time at all. He smiled at the fact that he was ready to go again, but energy wise, oh man. This was an exhausting task. It was way harder than point and click grinding from the other MMOs. That only meant it would be that much more fun getting to the higher levels. "Good work out there, Kranzer. You got what it takes to deal some serious damage, you just gotta put your mind to it!"

He let off a half-hearted laugh before letting out another pant. All things considered, he took two blows to the chest with fairly thin armor on. He even took a critical hit. It wasn't something he could just shrug off. It was then that he would remember what the old NPC from his quest said about the grass, the plants, and the rocks around them. Maybe this lapse in time would allow them some time to gather some Materials. "Hey, wanna see something cool?" He moved to grab some grass off of the ground, only to click the grass in his palm and open its options menu. He clicked on the <<Extract>> option, watching as it began to load. Before long, a clear orb would appear around the grass, showing a notification that he successfully crafted a <<Material>>. "Ha, got it on the first try! Turns out you can use anything in this game and try to craft it into Materials and stuff to make potions. It's really cool!"

Dynaon made it a point to praise Kranzer once more which only baffled the man. They didn’t really do all that great and they both missed their marks way more than they hit. Praise continued to fluster him and if it wasn’t for the criticism mixed in with it he might have even blushed slightly from the embarrassment. As it was it was all he could do not to stare daggers at Dynaon. He was one to talk about putting his head into things. In fact it would be best if the fool stopped using his head in the manner he has and actually think things through rather than getting so excited he rushes off without a second thought.

The man defied the stereotype that Kranzer had labeled him with by revealing the fruit of his labor during that quest that pushed him passed the threshold for level three. Dynaon showed Kranzer something new actually by revealing how you “mined” for materials. “Huh,” he muttered as he took a few steps closer and crouched down low. He touched his finger against the grass to open the interaction menu. His finger hovered over the <<Extract>> option for a moment as he gulped. When he pressed it nothing happened. He’d failed to extract any materials and a small indicator suddenly revealed that. His finger swept out quickly to close the window out and a blank look dominated his expression as he slowly turned to look at Dynaon. “Heh… guess I just have no luck.”

Dynaon smiled as he stored the new material into his inventory, happy that his stash was only growing while he was trying to craft new items for his new store. He watched as Kranzer tried to do what he did, only for it to do nothing. He must not have been able to do it, but it wasn't like it was a skill thing. "Don't worry about it. At least when it comes to our own lives, it doesn't have to come down to luck." He grabbed at a few more blades of grass, attempting to <<Extract>> more Material from them. As he clicked on the option, he was a bit shocked when nothing happened. Did he actually not manage to get anything out of them? It was a bit disappointing, but he didn't let it get to him, throwing the grass toward his back.

"I guess those grass blades were just bad. It is something really nice to do between spawns though. Keeps the blood flowing!" Dynaon got up from the sitting position and started to throw a few punches at a shadow he just couldn't seem to catch. Even after the intense battle with the creature, he was still ready to go all over again. Hopefully soon, he'd be able to fight another one so he could get his level up. It was never too early to grow, after all.

Kranzer’s gaze shifted back over towards Dynaon when he said their lives didn’t have to come down to luck. Did he mean that as he was going to start taking this slower and with a more cautious approach? Either that or he meant that it didn’t come down to luck because of all the skill he possessed. Kranzer wasn’t quite sure what he meant so his skeptical gaze remained fixated upon him for a few moments. This time the Immortal King’s attempt to search for another material didn’t bear any fruit. Everyone had their off days and they seemed to be in great supply for this duo. One might say they were either destined for greatness… or to fail in the most horrible way imaginable. As sad as he was to admit it, Kranzer figured it would end up being the latter rather than the former.

Regardless he walked over to a different section of grass as he started to sift through it the interaction menu cropped up. Once more he pressed the <<Extract>> option with no results to mention. He sighed softly as he looked around. Well this was a safe approach at least and it was definitely something he could get behind. “We need to be careful otherwise another boar may spawn near us again.” Kranzer shifted his gaze over towards Dynaon to see if he had any luck.

Dynaon noticed that Kranzer still wasn't having any luck with the extractions, but to be fair, it must be pretty difficult. He may have just gotten really luck the first time. In fact, a lot of the firsts involving this game were pretty damn lucky. His first hit in this game was a Critical, his first profession gave him an amazing item right off the bat, he gained a lot of Materials from his first quest.. and his first friend still stood beside him. That was definitely something that the King could enjoy, considering-- ... There was no need to dive into all of that right now. He had to focus on the here and now, right? He kicked at the ground, letting a blade of grass float into the air. He captured it quickly with his fist and began to <<Extract>>, only for nothing to happen. Damn it, this was really tough.

He looked over to Kranzer as he stopped punching at the air, a little bit of his proud exterior starting to fade in the lull of combat. "I think that's what we need. I still need to repay you for what you've done." He offered a smile toward the dagger wielder, but instead of being a happy-go-lucky smile of confidence, it was more.. soft and genuine. Like he was bringing himself down to a human's level for the first time.

He still wasn’t having much luck finding anything and a quick glance over towards Dynaon revealed he was having roughly the same luck. The comment he made about a <<Boar>> spawning being what they needed caused the indecisive player to stop what he was doing and simply stare at the man. Well that settled that then. Any hope that had formed within Kranzer’s mind that the fool had developed a sudden sense of survival just went out the window. It was of little consequence though. For now it seemed like they could at least handle it if one did suddenly spawn. After all they just defeated a titled one albeit with a bit of difficulty.

Once more Kranzer opened the interaction menu and hit <<Extract>>. It was in vain though as he didn’t get anything and he started to wonder if he just didn’t have the talent for this sort of thing. Suddenly his eyes grew wide as it occurred to him. What if his only talent was with fighting? That would just be horrible since he would rather avoid it altogether but Dynaon kept dragging him along into it so he had no choice but to fight. Kranzer shook his head as he stood up. He brushed off his pants and then turned around. “Yeah we aren’t getting anywhere with this. How about we go and get some food? We can always try our luck tomorrow.
