[SP-F4] Snowdrift? <<Avalanche>>

Requirements:

 

-At least two [2] pages of Rp  (21 or more posts)

-Avalanche must be defeated

-Maximum Party Size of 3

-Repeat completions will only yield <<Snowfrost>>

 

Avalanche Information:

 <Avalanche> is a respawning Field Boss and has the following statistics:
HP: 100
Damage per Attack: 24


Rewards:

  1. <<Snowfrost>> This incredibly potent alchemical salve can be applied to a piece of armor, increasing resistance to Fire Damage for one battle. [The wearer will only take half damage from the burning damage over time effect]
  2. 3 Skill Points

Word spread fast about new quests. An Information Broker from a small guild managed to find out about a secret respawning boss on Floor Four. Apparently, a small party told her how they managed to break through enough <<Ice Elementals>> that spawn around the Tundra to spawn this huge behemoth of a mob. The hidden Field Boss takes the form of a huge <<Ice Elemental>> known by the fond nickname of <<Avalanche>>, turned out to be a real challenge for the low leveled party and once they defeated it, it dropped a powerful Alchemical Concoction.

Keying in the various coordinates into his interface, Ethereal began to make his way through the icicle-laced starter town of Floor Four. He used to hate this particular level of Aincrad, endless blizzards and freezing cold. The fact that if you strayed too far and for too long you started taking damage and dying wasn't a help either. Once he got the <<Survival>> skill from the Traveller, however, it has been one of his favorite floors. Dragons populated certain sections for hunting and he no longer felt the cold. The scenery was awesome too.

Specialty Items. 
When a player scores 25+ on a LD roll from killing a monster they have a chance to obtain one of the specialty items listed below. To determine which item they receive they now use the Craft Die (CD) roll from the same post where they scored the 25+ LD roll. Compare the CD result with the result list below to determine which item you receive. CD modifiers do not effect this roll.

 

Out of nowhere, a huge wave of Yetis appeared from the shadows, swarming over Ethereal as he attempted to make his way through their ranks and towards <Avalanche>. Bringing his sword up to parry as he does so, the mobs manage to skewer themselves on his armor and the edges of his blade. As they fell around him, he continued to push forwards towards his goal and enemy. This was nothing like it used to be - when he was a weakling and could barely hold his own.

As the mobs fell around him, they just kept coming. Ethereal grimaced against the oncoming tide, eyes widening as his inventory grows and grows. The grimace turned into a grin at how quickly his mats were pouring in, Col as well. Seemed that he'd managed to get a niche of some sort of exploit on his way to the boss. Jeez, with this much resources coming in he could buy a thousand houses eventually. Despite this, his health kept ticking down slowly - they'd need to let up soon.
